I genuinely could not have asked for a better hair and makeup artist for my wedding day. From the very beginning, she listened to every single want, concern, and detail I mentioned and made me feel completely heard throughout the entire process. She was so patient, collaborative, and willing to adjust anything I wanted until everything felt absolutely perfect. On the wedding day itself, she completed exceeded every expectation I had. My makeup looked flawless while still looking like me — just elevated and bridal in the most beautiful way. The skin finish was perfect, my eye makeup was stunning, and everything photographed beautifully in every kind of lighting. I cried multiple times throughout the day, and somehow my makeup still looked perfect by the end of the night. My hair was equally incredible. It was SUPER windy on our wedding day, and somehow my hair still stayed beautiful, soft, and perfectly in place the entire time. It looked amazing in every photo and never felt stiff or overdone. She also gave me a touch-up kit, which was such a thoughtful detail and made me feel even more prepared throughout the day. Beyond her talent, she brought such a calming, positive energy to the getting-ready process and made the entire experience feel stress-free and special. I truly cannot recommend her enough. If you are looking for someone who is unbelievably talented, attentive, professional, and genuinely cares about making you feel beautiful and confident, she is the one.

I’ve been doing makeup and hair professionally for 1 5 years and have helped over 1500+ brides ( I lost count a while ago). Doing makeup and hair was something I thought would be a fun hobby for a while, but after getting into it, I found I loved it and have been blessed to be able to continue doing it for a living. I started out by doing films, photoshoots and editorial things, but then brides began reaching out and I realized how much I enjoy being able to help them get ready for their wedding. Being a makeup artist has been very fulfilling and has given me so many great experiences.

After showing her my dress, she recommended it be a little bit looser and messier. She was absolutely right. She did my hair and makeup for my bridal photos as well as on my wedding day, and she and her team (Myke and Jenna) did hair and makeup for TWELVE other folks on the day of my wedding -- 7 bridesquad members, 3 moms, and 2 sisters. They managed to get us all ready on time and everyone absolutely loved their looks! ng, and when I wasn’t sure about what I wanted, she confidently took over, and I loved that!! Not only did she exceed my expectations, but she was beyond patient with me. Things were kind of crazy the day of my wedding, and she worked with me on doing my girls’ hair as well. My kids were all over the place, and she was so patient and sweet with them and she somehow got them let her do their hair. She was very personable and super friendly. It felt like I had my friend with me the whole tome, and I loved having her be a part of that! Not only was I super pleased with the overall experience she gave me, but my family commented multiple times how pleased they were with her as well! She did a great job, she was very accommodating, and such a joy to have around. I cannot express to you enough how pleased I was with her. Side note too—I was very impressed with the price. I was expecting to pay a lot more, and really couldn’t afford much, but I thought her pricing was more than fair, especially for the experience she brings to the table, and the care that she put into everything.

ave me some amazing pointers and ideas. Even over text, she was very charismatic. Unfortunately, I ended up having a member of the bridal party decide they, too, wanted to have hair and makeup done professionally, so Red Scarlet was unable to help us. That said, she tried her hardest to make the accomodations we needed, offered compromises and other solutions that may have worked for us, and returned my deposit when we were, sadly, unable to work together. I wish we were able to work together and highly recommend her to anyone else looking to get married in the Salt Lake area. :-)

Through all the hick-ups and weather reschedules for pictures she was always quick to respond and sooo easy to work with. She was able to get my hair on POINT to what I wanted and made my makeup stunning and natural all at the same time. She even went out and bought the specific eye liner I use at home to use for my wedding. Her services came at a very reasonable price and she was super accommodating with her time.
