Rural Hill Farm

We had our wedding here in September of 2021 and it was absolutely the most perfect day! We booked the large cabin for me and my girls the night before and the night of for me and my husband and it was the best decision I could make! Everything was so perfect!

Duck Pond Farm is absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect setting for my dream wedding on 10/19! This place is truly a hidden gem that I can't rave about enough. The venue is located in Mount Juliet just off of Percy Priest. Tucked away about a mile off the main road, the drive opens up into a beautiful, serene wooded area where you see a horse barn, large pavilion, big pond and several cabins. We rented the cabins over the weekend and had the venue from Friday (12p) to Sunday (11a). So many venues give you only 8-10 hours to set up/tear down and host your ceremony and reception but it was so nice to have the full weekend for this. It was such a relief to know we had that extra time to relax and weren't rushed. The cabins were incredible. Everything was in great shape and extremely convenient to be able to have rehearsal at the venue, wake up there wedding morning and stay there wedding night. Over the weekend, we saw turkeys, deer, turtles, ducks and lots of pretty birds. The venue contact, Marisa was beyond fantastic! She was incredibly kind, accommodating and flexible with my crazy work schedule. My husband to be and mom both lived out of state leading up to the wedding and she was very generous to set up multiple sites with me so they could each put their stamp of approval on the wedding. Marisa was very quick to respond and thoroughly answered all my questions. I have worked with several venues over the years and this is by far the absolute BEST (and pretties). Duck Pond Farm is absolute perfection and Marisa's southern hospitality makes this place a dream for any Bride. I promise you will fall in love with it just like we did.

Great for the most part. The day of the wedding, the grass still wasn't mowed and there was duck poop everywhere, so we had to get someone to clean up the place ASAP... Outlet doesn't work at the gazebo, which luckily our DJ had a bluetooth speaker. Would've been nice to know the cons before booking this place.. Other than that, it was great.

Beautiful venue. So peaceful and the ones who run it are amazing. My wedding was picture perfect.

This place had a gorgeous view, and a covered area in case of rain (which was the case at our wedding). We enjoyed staying in the cabins on-site and all chairs, tables and linens were included which was a HUGE help. We were able to have the rehearsal dinner on-site as well.
