From our first tour with Ron (owner) then to Gabby, the most accommodating and helpful Event Direct in the universe, to my communications with Sandra (owner) after the fact, we had the most incredible experience at Silver Oaks Chateau. You can already see from photos how gorgeous the Chateau and surrounding property is and with the new waterfall, there are so many places for beautiful pictures and so many spaces to make your wedding your own and the design possibilities are enormous. The bridal suite and groom’s room are convenient and special. The amount of parking is outstanding. But what sets this venue apart from all others is the staff. Gabby was our Event Director and there are not enough words to describe her professionalism and just willingness to help make our event the best it could be. The bride and I both live in Kansas City so we had to plan this event as a destination wedding. I was only able to make it to St. Louis a few times. Each time, there were measurements that I needed to take all over Silver Oaks Chateau in order to effectively design and plan my daughter’s wedding. Each time, Gabby was willing to open up the property for me in the middle of the day in the middle of the week and I am just sure she wasn’t even scheduled to be on property those days. Gabby worked with me so closely to make sure the reception and ceremony areas were set up just the way we wanted for the day and were willing to move furniture around or back and forth as we moved from ceremony to the cocktail hour (the patio is chef’s kiss!) to the reception. She was there all day making sure every expectation was met and that we stayed on track. Additionally, Gabby worked with our Day of Coordinator and all of our vendors with ease. Gabby sent me some photos the day after the wedding which was so thoughtful and she just truly treats you like a friend. Ron stayed until the end of cleanup and shut the gates for the night himself. The next morning, one of the bridesmaids thought she may have left something in the bridal suite and Sandra was there already and was able to let me in to quickly look for the item. The bride and bridesmaids were able to stay on property the night before the wedding at the Chalet and the bride and groom stayed there on their wedding night. You must see this amazing home for yourselves. The girls had plenty of room to spread out and we did hair and makeup at the Chalet all morning on the day of the wedding. The MOG did not have the rehearsal dinner at the Chalet but we could have and just the vibe of the home (and games in the basement!) make this a serious contender for a rehearsal dinner or after party. Again, Silver Oaks Chateau was the perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding. I now can’t imagine her wedding taking place anywhere else that would provide such a wonderful backdrop and a staff providing such a perfect day. A must see!

The timeline for our wedding quickly became the least stressful piece of our day, thank you to the team at Silver Oaks! teral as the backdrop is framed with thousands of oak trees. We were blessed with a beautiful day which allowed us to make use of Silver Oak’s beautiful lawn and patio for our ceremony and reception. The staff arranged the outdoor space to comfortably accommodate our guests. In addition, the reception hall feels grand and helped frame the other details which made our day so beautiful. Views aside, Silver Oaks also has many flexible spaces, which guaranteed that our reception and wedding parties were comfortable and went smoothly. A suite on site for the groomsmen and bridesmaids made getting ready a breeze, but the separate, on-site Chalet is what really sold the final point for us. Coming in from out of town, having a space where our out-of-town wedding party had a place to sleep on property was tremendously helpful. Between the Chalet and the venue itself, there was ample space to spread out and prepare for the big day. The staff at Silver Oaks were so incredibly helpful, from Ron showing us around and managing overall logistics to our incredible day-of-coordinator Paula, we felt like we were in good hands and were able to focus fully on our special day. Leading up to our event, we met with Paula multiple times to review timelines and logistics both large and small. The whole process was incredibly professional and organized. On the day of, Paula did an incredible job working in tandem with the wedding party, family, vendors, guests, and the staff to ensure that our wedding went smoothly. One small detail we greatly appreciated is when Paula brought my wife and I each a cocktail after the ceremony. The wedding day really does pass in a blur and it was nice to know the small details were still accounted for. We are extremely grateful to everyone at Silver Oaks for helping to make our day special. We couldn’t have imagined a different location as perfect for our wedding. when we first walked into the venue on our tour day was awe. Awe at the beauty, the structure, and the staff. We immediately knew this was the place for us to start our forever. Every single experience we have had since has been just as amazing. We worked with both Alyssa and Paula when planning our event. Both were outstanding - they answered every question, anticipated every need, and strived to make the day perfect for us! Both had been brides at the venue too and had a lot of insight. Todd, the estate manager, was also fantastic. He was friendly and seemed to always have a smile on his face. He helped drive the trail cart so that the photographers and us could use different areas of the property for pictures. We also rented the Chalet the night before so that we could host our rehearsal dinner and have the bridal party stay overnight. This was the best decision as we got to spend two days celebrating our love with those closest to us. Our wedding day was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The staff assisted in any way we needed. It was truly beautiful and a day that we will cherish forever. For anyone looking for a beautiful, unique venue with great staff, this is the place for you.

had everything we needed to accommodate all of our activities and photos before and after the wedding. Our wedding party stayed 2 nights and 3 days, with our rehearsal in the cozy chalet, our wedding on the chateau lawn, and our reception/dance in the magnificent dining hall. The owners (Ron and Sandi) and the day-of coordinator (Paula) were a joy to work with and super accommodating. Our family and friends who attended said it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to. Can't recommend highly enough. I believe it is the nicest venue in the St. Louis area.

She was so helpful and was able to make everything we wanted happen. They truly thought of everything when they built this venue and Paula (our day of coordinator which is included when you book) was so sweet and detail oriented. We had a lot of out of town guests so the Chalet was perfect for an after party, our family to stay at and breakfast for the out of town guest the next day. We loved being able to get dressed in the lovely brides room and enjoy the entire day and next day on the property. So much goes into planning a wedding so to be able to enjoy it for that long was terrific! Todd was so helpful the day of the wedding. It rained in the middle of the day and then the rain stopped and we had the nicest evening for the ceremony and enjoying the patio. The Chalet is so comfortable and beautiful and perfect to entertain our out of town guests. We loved everything about the experience with the people at Silver Oaks Chateau and Chalet. Thank you for all of your hard work to make us feel special.

each following in-person visit we fell more and more in love with this venue, and it was amazing for our Sunday Brunch wedding theme. Our guests and family adored the venue, and the Silver Oaks team made all the difference in executing our wedding day.

From the start of our wedding planning process, the Silver Oaks staff always showed punctuality and professionalism when responding to messages and answering our questions. Jenna was our venue coordinator and we LOVED working with her!! She ensured everything ran smoothly and went above and beyond for us - from providing last minute bandaids before I walked down the aisle, to ensuring the cardbox was accounted for, to communicating with all of our vendors and much more. She was so on top of it and was a huge help! Staying at the Chalet, right next to the Chateau, was another wonderful experience. We stayed with our bridal party in the Chalet the night before the wedding and it easily accommodated all of us! It has beautiful, spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, a huge kitchen, and the cutest deck that makes you feel like you're tucked away in the woods/mountains. It was so convenient also to be right next door to the venue for the day of the wedding. Our bridal party (and we) could not stop raving about how amazing of a spot this was to stay at!

My favorite part was the convenience of it--there were no difficult logistics we needed to figure out. The bridal party stayed in the Chalet the night before which was so convenient! The house was absolutely beautiful and had more than enough space for all of us to sleep comfortably. The best part was that the next day we could get ready at the Chalet and not have to worry about moving locations, traveling, etc. It was such a stress-reliever to have a wedding venue where we could get ready, take photos, and get married all in one location. We were so happy with our decision to get married at Silver Oaks!

Oaks Chateau the perfect choice. The venue is gorgeous. The grounds are beautifully maintained and filled with flowers and trees. The venue has a lovely patio with a great fire place. And the inside is beautiful. You can tell the team cares about the space. Every room looks well-maintained, even the ones you might not see on a tour. The venue is also handicapped accessible - my grandma has been to several weddings where she had to use a back entrance. Not at Silver Oaks Chateau! She was thrilled that the staff was so accommodating and the venue made her experience so wonderful. And the staff is absolutely fabulous. They made planning our wedding easy - asking great questions and giving us ample time to look around the space and plan. Our day of coordinator, Paula, made our wedding day easy. I only realized after I saw pictures that our baker forgot to put the flowers on our cake. Paula handled it before I even noticed something hadn't been done! Being able to decide day of whether to have the ceremony inside or outside was another great benefit. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day for an outside wedding - but I felt reassured knowing that the inside of Silver Oaks Chateau was just as beautiful. We also appreciated that we were able to use the arbors at Silver Oaks Chateau. It was just one additional element that made our wedding seamless. It was one more thing we didn't have to worry about. We highly recommend choosing Silver Oaks Chateau for your wedding. You won't regret it! We can only hope that we are able to return soon - this time as guests!

meetings with our day-of coordinator 4 months before the date with our coordinator Alyssa. She was completely on top of everything, and got down into details we didn’t even realize we needed! Skipping to the big day, Alyssa, Ron, and Todd went above and beyond to make sure the day went off without a hitch. We had several day-of changes to the bridal party, guest count, and table layout due to COVID, and Ron was there the whole day to help and make sure everything was taken care of. Alyssa also coordinated with all of our vendors during the ceremony and reception to make everything absolutely perfect! Aside from the amazing team we had, the venue was absolutely beautiful and provided SO much room! Silver Oaks has multiple indoor/outdoor locations for the ceremony and cocktail hour, a gigantic 2-story reception space, and both bridal and grooms getting ready suites. It was perfect! We also had the opportunity of booking the Chalet, the house next door to the Chateau, for the night before and night of our wedding. It was absolutely perfect! We were able to stay at the Chalet with our bridal party, which made it so much easier to cut out the logistics of transporting everyone on the wedding day. The house had more than enough private bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, as well as a full kitchen. The day of the wedding, the men were able to stay at the Chalet to hang out while the women walked right next door to the Chateau to get ready in the bridal suite. Then the men walked right over for pictures and the ceremony. It was SO convenient! (Especially at the end of the night when we were all able to return to the Chalet after the wedding.) If you get the chance, 1000% book the Chalet for you big day!

Alyssa and Ron were so helpful and welcoming, and Sandi helped us out with the chalet (which was SO convenient and SO nice to stay at the night of the wedding!). The setting is beautiful, right next to the Chateau, in the lovely woods of West County. 5 out of 5 stars for the Chalet as well!

re doing a Sunday brunch wedding and couldn't get access to the venue until 7 a.m. The detail and all the various amenities provided are well thought out at the chalet. Highly recommend. As for the wedding at Silver Oaks Chateau, we couldn't have been happier. It's the most beautiful venue around and the staff is welcoming and SOOOO helpful. The day could not have been any more perfect. Thank you to the owners Ron & Sandi, Alyssa (Event Mgr), Ali (Day of Wedding Coordinator), and Todd (Facility Mgr). You all make a great team and we couldn't have pulled off the best day ever without you all. Thank you from the bottom of our heart.
