We are a boutique wedding planning company catering to LGBT and low-drama couples, based in Saugatuck MI. We've specialized in the Saugatuck Douglas, Fennville, and South Haven areas of Michigan since 2004. We offer full-service wedding planning, along with small luxury beach ceremonies, and simple elopement services. Our all-inclusive small wedding & elopement packages include everything you need to get married (except the marriage license!) Everything from the location & decor to a personalized wedding ceremony, and professional Wedding Officiants & Photographers. We also include gorgeous fresh flowers for the two of you, and so much more. All you need to do is show up (with your marriage license!) and we'll handle the rest. We simply couldn't be happier with our experience with Dream Day Weddings. At every step of the way my, now wife, and I were in very capable hands. Cheryl went above and beyond our expectations. She helped make our wedding absolutely everything we could have ever wanted, was so on top of everything, was completely professional and friendly and truly a delight to work with. She has insight and referrals for all of your vendor needs through the planning process. Incredible communication the entire way. The day of our wedding she had everything working like a finely tuned machine. After waiting over a decade to marry the love of my life, I am so glad we trusted Cheryl and her team with our special day. If we had to go back and do it again we would absolutely pick her every time! Could not recommend her more. She will make you feel safe, taken care of, special and welcomed. She is THE BEST of the best.

Cheryl coordinated our wedding on Oval Beach in Saugatuck last week and it was possibly the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended (of course, I'm a little biased). The flowers were incredible, Anji, the photographer was so laid back and unobtrusive (and the early photos she shared with us are gorgeous), and Cheryl made everything so easy. It was a real joy to just show up at the beach at the last minute and everything was taken care of, beautifully. I am so happy we decided to work with Dream Day. Our wedding was everything we wanted, and more.

My husband and I had a beautiful ceremony in Saugatuck this past August. The idea of planning an out of state wedding seemed daunting till Cheryl with Dream Day Weddings entered the picture and became our personal wedding guru. She is meticulous, efficient, and has established great relationships with many vendors in the area. Cheryl orchestrated our special day beautifully. With all of the prep work she had us do beforehand, we were able to focus on celebrating with our friends and family. The hours ticked by too quickly, but we made many amazing memories on that day, all thanks to Cheryl. We cannot recommend her enough!

I came across Cheryl online after realizing the dream of a Caribbean destination wedding was just way to stressful. I reached out to her on 7/18/22 & immediately got a call back. We spoke for over 1hr & from that day on it was like I was talking to a friend, I never once questioned our decision to go with Cheryl. We wanted to get married on 8/18, in 4 weeks. I thought she was going to tell me we were insane. But that was not the case, she assured me we had plenty of time for our small beach ceremony ( 22 people total). Shortly after booking I was informed that Cheryl would in fact be the one marrying us & Kim, the photographer who took "the most perfect wedding picture" that got my attention on the page would also be doing our ceremony as well. Everything was just falling into place, I kept thinking to myself there has to be a hiccup in the planning somewhere, that's just my luck? We were absolutely blown away how smooth everything went, not 1 issue at all! Cheryl & I spoke a handful of times & it was just because I kept feeling like there was something I needed to do at my end & she continued to reassure me that all I had to do was show up with our marriage license. We are so beyond grateful that we found Cheryl, she is an absolute rock star at what she does. I never dreamed our wedding day would turn out to be as perfect as it was. Every person in attendance commented on how magical it was & it truly was just that. The ceremony Cheryl wrote for us you would have thought she had been a part of our love story from the very beginning. Our flowers..I could not have done a better job picking them out myself, they were gorgeous & lasted weeks on our dining room table. And Kim, she is another professional that is amazing at her job also. We felt so comfortable with her & had a blast with our shoot, she was so much fun! We couldn't be any happier with our pictures. Thank you Dream Day Weddings Team, you made this girls dreams into reality. If you are looking are a wedding planner that completely takes ALL THE STRESS away from you & is 100% professional & wont break the bank- look no further, Cheryl is the GOAT at what she does. Looking back, my only regret is not inviting Cheryl & Kim to the Black River Tavern to celebrate with us afterwards.

Cheryl was amazing to work with! In less than four months, we planned an out of state wedding during the pandemic at the end of September (meaning who knows if it's freezing or summer like!). Not only did Cheryl introduce us to new venues and vendors in our favorite area (we thought we knew our options lol) she continued to help coordinate as our numbers evolved and it became a three venue, six hour event, all outdoors! Her checklist is incredible and helped me relax knowing that all our day of details were being taken care of and I could truly enjoy getting ready with friends, family. We walked into our reception and were blown away with how it all came together- beyond gorgeous! Absolutely recommend working with Cheryl if she's available for your date!!

We knew we wanted a chill, intimate beach wedding, and Google led us to Cheryl. We had a fantastic experience with her and the entire team. If you want a low-stress, enjoyable wedding experience, choosing Dream Day Weddings is the right move to make. You will get a personalized ceremony with all of your preferences respected. It's so nice to have a group of professionals that handles everything so you can just sit back, relax, and get married! That's exactly how our experience went with our South Haven sunset wedding on North Beach. Cheryl answered all of our questions and put us at ease, going above and beyond to make recommendations for lodging and dining in the area. She was the best officiant we could have asked for, and even gave us advice and support when we had trouble getting our marriage license when we wanted. She was so fun to talk to and kept our family members filled in on their roles. Kim was the sweetest photographer and is so incredibly skilled. Andrea was practically a hair and makeup magician. Our flowers and setup were gorgeous, our videographer was so kind, and everyone else helping out was also super friendly. We have no complaints about our wedding thanks to such a phenomenal group of individuals. Thank you, Dream Day Weddings, for living up to your name and giving us what we dreamed of.

I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl. From start to finish, she made all of visions come to life. We gave her our "must haves" and she turned it into a wedding beyond our dreams. It was perfect. She made planning easy and fun - which I cannot thank her enough for. In the end, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING (photos, flowers, decorations, ceremony...) was perfect. I cannot recommend Cheryl and her crew enough!

I don't even know where to start. We had planned an elopement in Italy but due to the pandemic we had to cancel and pivot to a new idea. We found Cheryl and had a phone conversation and within a few months she produced truly a dream day for us. We ended up hosting a small ceremony and reception in South Haven at a gorgeous historic mansion she recommended. Cheryl consistently put my worries at ease and made planning fun and easy. She astutely listened to our vision, referenced my Pintrest board often, helped get us the best deals for food and decor and was a wonderful officiant! I wouldn't have changed a thing. She whipped up the most gorgeous wedding for us and it was truly better than my Pintrest board. Thank you Cheryl and your team for making the most memorable and fabulous day that everyone is still talking about!! All I can say is PERFECTION!!!!!!! I am so thankful when I googled Beach Weddings in Michigan up came Cheryl from Dream Day Weddings!!!!! She was nothing but Amazing from our very first phone call. Our situation was different because our wedding was going to be a surprise......She made everything so easy and stress free and we were able to pull off the best episode of punk’d to our kids and their other halves! Long story short when my boyfriend told me there was no way he would be able to surprise me with a wedding we thought it would be a great idea to surprise the kids.....He told my daughters and his Son that he was going to purpose on our family vacation. Then I came up with the great idea of a family photo so I was able to coordinate colors and everything!!!!! Cheryl was able to give me several ideas how we could get the kids there without ruining the surprise. She was there for my many many many many emails and phone calls over the 3 1/2 months it took to plan the surprise. She was always very patient and helpful whenever I had another idea or question about something......If I could have given her a 20 star rating I would have. I am here to day that Dream Day Weddings is beyond amazing!! I found their business while searching online for “destination/elopement weddings in Michigan.” I was impressed with all of the different packages they had to offer, and having a small beach wedding (6 people total) sounded stress-free and exactly what I wanted so I decided to email Cheryl with questions and a date I had in mind. She was always prompt on responding to any inquiries, and everything that she has to offer is great! I chose the color chair ties I wanted, the date, brought our marriage license and wedding rings, and sent her pics of bouquets I liked, and she had everything set up perfectly for my big day. I am here to say that her photographer and florist are beyond amazing as well!! I was soooo impressed with our pictures and my bouquet. Cheryl is super caring and friendly, I would (and already have) recommend her to anyone in the market for a wedding planner! Cheryl created a beautiful custom ceremony for our beach wedding in South haven this past June, and it was wonderful from start to finish. Our friends and family members are still talking about how well the ceremony fit us! She really took the time to get to know us both, and she made sure that every element of the ceremony was perfect. Cheryl also suggested other vendors who were top-notch (the DJ, photographer, reception caterer, and the bartender), and even though we had only hired her for the ceremony, she came along to the reception and helped make sure the speeches and the transition from dinner to dancing went smoothly. The nuts and bolts; Cheryl was always on time and/or early. She responded to calls and emails in a very timely matter and was always professional. Now on to the great stuff. We had spoken to Cheryl a few times on the phone before meeting her due to distance but she put us at ease right from the start. When we finally met she was relaxed and even showed up to the meeting with the owners of the venue, Mindy and Kym, in the morning which she did not have to do but her presence was very beneficial and was indicative of the level of commitment we felt from her throughout the planning. The day of, Cheryl arrived early with the photographer and both of them got our quest mobilized without anyone feeling rushed. The words she spoke were amazing. She had very obviously listened to our wishes during our meetings and organized those reflections with mentions and remembrance of important people and even the word of God. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. We are so appreciative of her services and wouldn't have changed a thing.

Cheryl was the absolute best to work with. The whole process was easy and we were able to customize our ceremony to be just how we wanted it to be! We received so many compliments on Cheryl's ceremony and many people even thought she was a close friend of ours even though we had only just met (other than skype sessions) the day of the wedding! Our wedding day was perfect in each and every way, from contacting (via phone & millions of email) our wedding planner Cheryl to all the details. We set the wedding date literally a month before the wedding. Thanks to Cheryl who is laid-back but made sure us feel very comfortable. It was literally a stress free wedding. She is very good at communicating and answered all our concerns and questions. She gave us detailed instructions of getting the marriage license. She set up with her partners (florist, baker, photographer, and stylist) after she knew what we wanted. Our wedding was tiny with 4 guests in a beautiful town. Knowing nothing about Cheryl, the photographer, the makeup/hair stylist, the bakery, and the town, we were basically just hoping for the best and it sure was the BEST that any couple could ask for. The ceremony was beautiful under the gazebo and by the water. It was intimate and very memorable. The photographer Sam did an amazing job taking us around the town and we felt completely comfortable with her. All the pictures turned out perfect. The makeup/hair stylist worked her magic and I sure felt beautiful and happy that day. The bouquet was gorgeous!!! I got SO MANY compliments from people who saw our pictures. I loved it a lot. The color was beautiful! The wedding cake was delivered to the restaurant where we had dinner. It was SO yummy and pretty!! The cost of the whole wedding was one of the cheapest options we looked at but result was extraordinary! Overall, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day and are very pleased with our decision by going with Cheryl. Highly recommended!

Cheryl was amazing. Super professional, friendly, and organized. We loved the questionnaire she created and had us fill out. It made us feel like she really wanted to know us, and it helped to make the day personalized and even more special. Her outfit was perfect, and I couldn’t have picked a better person to marry us. I highly recommend Dream Day Weddings for your special day. Cheryl was so helpful throughout the planning process and made everything easy and carefree which is exactly what we wanted. She had excellent suggestions for places for our dinner reception and had ideas on details to make the whole day more special. She took care of everything so all we had to do was enjoy! Worked with Cheryl Hooten, and im so glad I did. She literally answered ALL my questions quickly and professionally. She customized a wedding rehearsal guide that made my life a breeze. Cheryl really cares about clients and is super down to Earth. I called a couple times over the weekend to get last minute details squared away, and she got back to me very quickly. Cheryl and her team truly made our wedding a dream day! After having another company cancel on us with very short notice, I was in a state of panic until I found Dream Day Weddings. Cheryl assured me right from the start that she could help. She is hilarious and uber-organized all at the same time! We wanted an intimate wedding with a tropical feel. Cheryl worked closely with me to ensure the florist knew exactly what I wanted. Our flowers were gorgeous! Cheryl customized our ceremony so that it was very personal and meaningful to us.
