Good Times Productions, based in Ozone Park, NY, is a boutique wedding DJ Entertainment Company with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Owner Anthony Gelo will personally walk you through the entire process, from the initial consultation to the last dance. Your experience with us will be simple, professional, and focused.
We believe in 3 essential elements for music at events:
*Your vision and vibe you are trying to create with music
*Your guest's musical tastes
*Our experience in putting it all together
Our goal is to understand and organically create these elements. Our booking process starts with an informal initial consultation in person or by phone in which we will casually discuss music, flow and vision. We will answer any questions and create a base package that suits your needs. Once you book you are given access to our online music request system. Here, you can make requests by entering musical selections highlighting songs that are Must Play, Play If Possible, or Do Not Play. Furthermore, you can send a link to your guests to participate in the process as well. We monitor your activity and offer insight or help.
For larger events, three to four weeks before the date, we meet again and go over all the details. From this point we then create a personalized loose Itinerary based upon our meetings and music requests. We will work with your venue or planner to ensure that your vision comes to life.

Anthony was amazing! He made us some really cool custom mixes for some of our special moments like our recessional and the mother/son dance, and he nailed it with personalizing the playlist for us based on our extensive “do not play” list, LOL. Our goal was to go against the grain and break with tradition. Anthony was one of a kind and 100% on board with our vision every step of the way.
He was so fun to work with, very responsive and communicative, open to ideas and feedback. He really made it feel personal, like his heart was in it, not like we were just another client.
The energy on the dance floor was high all night long. The dance floor was literally packed all night, it was hard to get people to sit down! If you’re looking for a super in-your-face MC who bounces around the dance floor all night, he’s not your guy. But if you’re like us and wanted a talented, professional DJ who would keep the energy high organically and puts his heart into his work, we highly, HIGHLY recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Anthony! From the minute we met with him, my husband and I knew we wanted him to DJ our wedding. We booked him almost a year before the wedding and he was in touch with us all throughout the year, checking in to make sure we were okay and offering his help. The portal for inputting our information and preferred songs was SO user friendly, it was actually fun to use! Anthony is someone who actually cares about the work he is doing, and any time I had a question or I wasn’t sure what songs I wanted for introductions, he was right there with suggestions. He was there all throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The reception was an absolute blast because of the music he played! He really took the songs that I put in the portal and created the ultimate set based on that! I knew I had a great time, but everyone I spoke to the next day had nothing but great things to say about the music. Book Anthony, you won’t regret it!!

My wife Christina and I were married at Plattdeutsch Park in Franklin Square on October 14th 2023. Anthony did an amazing job for us as our DJ. We had a unique Hard Rock / Heavy Metal style wedding. We gave him a list of songs and he ran with it. We asked him not to have the music so loud that people at the tables could not talk to each other. We had had compliments on this. People were able to talk and not scream at each other. Thank you Anthony for the great job that you did for us!

We booked Anthony to be the DJ for our wedding and he was nothing but professional, communicative, and friendly throughout the entirety of it. It was super helpful having Anthony initially set up a Zoom call with us and walk us through every detail as well as ask about our personal preferences (and he thoroughly executed it on the night of the wedding!). Highlight for us as a couple was the dance floor, and how electric he got the atmosphere to be (our friends and family still talk about it till this day!). Hands down, Anthony has been the best vendor we've personally worked with, and without a doubt would recommend Anthony to DJ anyone else's wedding!

We highly recommend Good Times Production and DJ Anthony. The experience was very collaborative and creative. The client portal was easy to use for payment, organizing the wedding schedule and song requests. Our initial meeting was getting to know each other. Our theme was musical theatre which Anthony was honest that he was not too familiar with Broadway shows. However, we sent him a list of songs that would be appropriate for throughout the evening, and he was able to adapt. We chose Good Times for the DJ set up with lights and he exceeded our expectations. He was knowledgeable with sound and mic checks. He was collaborative with our pianist, live singers and drag performers. Anthony listened to our choice of not playing certain songs. He was very aware and observant of guests’ reactions during the dance portion of the night. All our guests gave positive feedback and said it was one of the best wedding sets (timing, appropriate choices for cocktail to dinner to dance, music transitions). We would highly recommend working this professional team.

If you are looking for an ultra professional DJ who lets you design your own music plan with this help, Anthony is the ONE.
When I was planning my wedding, I was on a search for a DJ that understood my energy. I wanted old school mixed with a little new music and I wanted to be able to choose the majority of what I was looking for. Anthony let me take the reigns and worked with me and advised me when I needed assistance. Apparently the guests all felt that my wedding was the best music they have heard at a wedding ever! That is all thanks to Anthony who made my special day a true dream come true. Look no further than Anthony, he is the ONE!

Anthony was exactly what we were looking for. We had a few virtual meetings to discuss our music taste, the ceremony and reception activities. His portal was great to work with to keep track of what things we had and had not covered. I especially enjoyed being able to link a Spotify playlist so he can have access to our music requests instead of having to type it out and email it.
He was on site before I even arrived and was ready for the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception well before we got things started. He tied together our music requests really well into fun dance sets and he got people up and moving. We had a few requests when it came to special moments (like the cake cutting) that we wanted certain songs to start at a certain line in the song (not just at the beginning). He made sure to execute those tiny details.
Good Times Production is a great mix of professionalism and fun. Which in my opinion is what you are looking for in a DJ/MC. I would certainly hire them again.

We worked with Anthony for our wedding and it went amazing! He was very responsive during the planning process and truly took the time to understand the vibe we wanted for our celebration. On our wedding day, his team arrived early and made sure everything was set up perfectly.

We are so glad we came across Anthony and his company to DJ our wedding. He was very detailed, he walked us thru the process, had a great website that made us picking songs and providing him all the information he needed easy. On wedding day he was well prepared and adjusted due to extras that we did. Would definitely recommend him for any event. We had our Wedding at Terrance on the Park in case that is of interest to anyone.

Anthony was an absolute pleasure to work with from our first meeting until the end of our wedding night. He is so personable and really worked with us to make sure all of the music we wanted was included. He made it very easy for us to add songs that we wanted (and didn't want, which I thought was great) and he was very thorough in going through the plan prior to the big day to make sure we were all set. The of the wedding, Anthony arrived early with ample time to set up and have music up and running for our guests, some of which arrived 45 minutes early. He kept things running smoothly (dances, speeches, etc.) and once the dance floor opened, it was packed for the rest of the night. The music was great and so many of our guests complimented the playlist before and during the wedding. We loved working with Anthony and would highly recommend him to DJ any event.

There is not enough room to express how happy we were with Anthony and his amazing team.
Like everyone else, on your wedding day you want as little to worry about as possible. We knew we had that when we place our trust in Anthony.
He went absolutely above and beyond all the special little “extra” requests we asked of him. My husband and I along with all of our guests had an amazing night.
Sidenote: We had Anthony as DJ for other parties including our Engagement party.

Anthony did a great job DJing and MCing our wedding. We had a pretty small wedding and Anthony gave us a reasonable price compared to other NYC DJs.
He was great to work with. Very professional, organized, and understanding of our tastes. He did a good job weaving together our distinct musical selections.

Anthony from start to finish was the best! He was right on point and organized from the moment we had our first meeting until our final meeting before the reception. He helped organize the days musical events just as planned and was able to coordinate well with my officiant as well as my belly dancer that I hired. He kept us right on schedule. He did a great job of mixing up the music with all of the different cultures in my life and my guests had a blast. Definitely would recommend Anthony again for an event.

Anthony and his assistant Craig put together the perfect soundtrack for our wedding. In the run-up to the wedding he was super flexible, putting up with a bi-coastal time difference in planning Zoom meetings to discuss our musical tastes and playlists. During the wedding he played the perfect songs to both reflect our sensibilities and get both a bunch of stolid midwesterners and Filipino Aunties up on the dance floor and hopping about. After the wedding we got a bunch of compliments about the DJ and would 100% recommend him to anyone.

Anthony delivered far and beyond what our expectations were for our wedding day. He was extremely thorough, detailed and accommodating in the months leading up to our wedding. He did a great job familiarizing himself with our desired songs and walked us through the evening so efficiently. When wedding day came, he seamlessly helped our outdoor ceremony sound clear and smooth, and then he KILLED it with keeping the energy of the night up during our reception. Anthony was a dream to work with. He was so invested in our vision and sound for our special day. From our first meeting, I was confident that I’d found someone I could trust. Anthony worked to give us the best price and even hauled up to Connecticut on a snowy day to carry off our wedding. Everything went off without a hitch. Here is how good Anthony is as a DJ and for weddings. I know him from NYC and flew him in to INDIA for my wedding because that is how important the music was to me (I’m a music NUT!) and I trusted no one else to get it right. He did. He’s the best! End of story.

One thing that I notice immediately is the level of commitment and professionalism that Anthony has about his work. Managing the logistic, the preparation, and how he was ready to go and prepare in every moment was so assuring, I think his experience speaks for itself.
The way that Anthony guide us through the event and how he could support us and set up the mood for each part of the wedding was incredible; he listened to what we like and blended both styles for the ceremony, cocktail, dinner and party time, even the close was amazing
As a context, for me, music and dance were key parts of the party, and as a multicultural wedding, with multiple backgrounds, I thought it could be challenging, but not for Anthony. I don't think there was a person that didn't enjoy or didn't dance. From the Hora Loca, Latin music to folklore music, he set up the tone for the wedding and kept us moving until the end. We didn't want to finish.
What didn't we like? That we didn't have more time to keep dancing and partying.

Anthony DJed and MCed our small wedding in October in midtown. We have nothing but good things to say about Anthony. He was probably the most proactive, flexible, professional and friendly vendor we worked with. He gave us ample time to select some songs from his user friendly online system, reached out to us several times to schedule a Skype meeting (we planned this from California), was very open to getting additional songs he didn't have on his menu such as Jewish & Israeli songs we wanted played, and was able to work with us seamlessly on various last minute changes we wanted to make. We even had some crazy last minute changes to our wedding party and he was able to adapt to the last minute announcement changes without a problem. Even though we had a small group of about 50 guests, he was able to get people up and dancing and get the party going. We had a great time. Thank you Anthony!!

We hired Anthony as our DJ for our wedding last month. He is excellent! His songs got guests to hit the dance floor, and the songs he played were great! He was always prompt to respond to our emails and texts when we had questions. He was always on time and accommodating to our busy work schedules. One of my bridesmaids even said " love your DJ !" And she is a picky person!
