Ashley and her team are a top-notch wedding vendor through and through! Her quality of work is unmatched. My husband and I chose Ashley because her photography style perfectly matched our May Day/Spring wedding. We knew she had the ability to capture our wedding day exactly as we’d envisioned it. When looking for vendors I felt many had a moody, darker style and that was the opposite of what we were wanting. I was so relieved when we found Ashley. We knew she was the first vendor we wanted to secure! We are so impressed with the difference that film photography makes in the coloring, quality and feel of our images. It's become clear after seeing them printed out and hung on our wall. Our pictures are truly unlike any wedding photos I've seen. Obviously I'm biased but every time I look at our album I catch myself smiling without even knowing it. There are countless things throughout our engagement and wedding day that blew me away about Ahley's talent and service. We live in Kansas City but our wedding took place in my hometown of Wichita. Ashley went out of her way to accommodate us! She cleared a Friday evening for our engagement photo session so that we could make a weekend out of it and visit family rather than making it a there-and-back trip. We also had 0 ideas of where to take engagement and wedding day pictures and she completely solved that for us! When we got to the church the day of the wedding she showed me a picture of the altar to make sure the decorations and flowers were set up to my expectations. Leading up to the wedding and the day-of I had countless non-photography related questions that she answered with ease and eagerness. Such as, "Uhh what should I do with my engagement ring before the ceremony." She always had an answer for everything and made me feel at ease. Ashley was an incredible help during the planning process. Her checklists, event timeline, shot list, attention to detail and learning about what we wanted, etc. were beyond appreciated as I had enough to worry about. The recommendations for engagement session outfits, wedding day reminders and planning chats took the edge off of my nervousness. Ashley even worked directly with my florist to get flower pieces the night before my wedding so she would have them for my detail shots. Truly, everything she could take care of, she did so without missing a beat! My favorite part about working with her is she placed joy into every step of the planning and day-of experience and I'm beyond grateful she was a part of our vendor team!

BEST DECISION EVER!! When it came time to choose a photographer, we considered many things. I wanted my daughter and future son-in-law to have beautiful memories of their “Once in a Lifetime Special Day”. Choosing ASP was one of the best investments I have ever made. From the engagement photo session to the last photo taken as the bride and groom drove away, we could not have been more pleased. Ashley left no stone unturned when she organized every aspect of the photographs. My favorite part of the whole process was the personal touch that Ashley added to every photo/session. We are so happy with the memories that we have in our photos. We are happy with the prints and wedding albums that we purchased. There are SO many different options for photographers when it comes to capturing your big day, and it can get a bit overwhelming! From different styles of photographers, different personalities that may or may not fit with yours, and many different packages including keepsakes that you can't decide from. I was so lucky to have known from the minute I met Ashley that she was the perfect fit for us! Not only is she the most kind, but she really makes you feel prepared and so comfortable right from the beginning, which is a must for me! The keepsakes offered in her packages are SO unique compared to any photographer, especially the wedding album that is so elegant and the highest of quality, and you get to help design every bit of it! I had a very short and fast wedding day, and I was worried about getting all the pictures I wanted in before the ceremony, and Ashley tackled it perfectly! We got together a timeline, she's very organized and makes a template of all the photo variations you want, and the names of each family member involved to make things run smoother on the wedding day. My family was very impressed with how smoothly everything went, and we got everything done ahead of time! Not to mention she will do whatever it takes to get your perfect photos, even if it means stepping slightly out of her package guidelines, which I really appreciated! From the moment my husband and I first met Ashley at a coffee shop in Charleston, we knew we wanted her to be our wedding photographer. While looking though her look books, we fell in love with the way she photographed southern weddings. We booked Ashley for both our engagement photos and our wedding and were not disappointed. One of our groomsmen was in a wheel chair and she was able to create unique arrangements that worked for our wedding party photos. On our wedding day, Ashley and her assistant were always within eyesight. We would absolutely recommend Ashley as a photographer. Our friends and family even commented on how great she was. We loved our wedding photos so much that we even order one of her beautiful albums. She captured our moments that we will cherish for a lifetime!

Ashley is such an amazing photographer! She is so talented and has an amazing eye for colors/lighting and captures the most amazing shots. She has so calm and cool which I needed on our wedding day. l was so happy to have found her to capture our wedding day. I met Ashley at a wedding expo in Charleston and the minute we met I knew I wanted her to be our photographer. She is so bubbly and happy and wants to make sure she captures every detail. Ashley did my bridals, our engagements, designed our save the dates, and photographed our wedding (along with her husband). They were so professional and took stunning pictures. We have purchased numerous canvases from Ashley as well, because she takes such care in making sure every detail is shown. Ashley of Glimpse and Gather (now called Ashley Schurch Photography) was amazing! My husband and I used her services for all our photography needs; engagements, bridal portraits, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. The work she did was wonderful. She is very personable and makes you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. She worked around my specific photography wants and helped us create our own package. She has the option of a second photographer, which was a huge help during our wedding. Also loved that she is organized and made a Day of Wedding Photography schedule for family and wedding party. Finally, she uses an online site so you can display your photos. You have the option of saving to a file or printing from her website through a professional print company. I did some of both and the professional prints are very reasonably priced and look excellent.

I gave my husband the task, when we got engaged, to find our photographer. The second I saw Ashley's portfolio, I just knew she was it for us. Then I met her and KNEW she was it! Ashley is a ray of sunshine to work with, and her pictures are flawless. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone that I can. One of my most favorite things about Ashley's pictures are that they aren't staged or have the look of being staged. She literally captures you in the moment and helps bring out the best in that special day. I have no doubt she will get even better.
