DJ Ed Geer came recommended by our venue, and he was one of the first vendors we hired when we began planning our Big Island wedding. From the moment we started working with Ed, up...
until our wedding reception in April 2025, he was nothing short of consistent, professional, and a joy to communicate with. It's immediately clear that Ed has years of experience in the industry, having worked at countless weddings — he truly knows his craft.
Ed was the heartbeat of our wedding reception. His passion for what he does is undeniable, and it shows in every interaction. He’s a true professional who wants nothing but perfection for your special day. Throughout the planning process, he was quick to respond to every email and phone call, and each conversation felt more like chatting with a close friend than a vendor.
In the months leading up to our wedding, we had several calls where Ed took the time to really get to know us — our love story, backgrounds, the vibe we wanted to create at our reception, and of course, our musical tastes. He even recommended adding special songs to specific moments in our timeline, and let me tell you, it made a huge impact! Some of our calls lasted almost two hours, which just goes to show how invested he is in making your day exactly what you envision. And, as a lovely surprise, Ed threw in extra lighting at no charge because he’s that passionate about creating the perfect atmosphere for you.
When we finally met Ed at our wedding reception, it truly felt like a family embrace. His warm, positive, and friendly personality made us feel like we’d known him for years. He really looks out for you and ensures you have the best time, which we absolutely did. Ed played all the songs from our curated playlist, and the dance floor was packed all night. He’s also a naturally gifted emcee, and everything he said over the microphone flowed effortlessly.
If you’re looking for a professional with extensive experience AND an incredible personality, don’t hesitate to book Ed for your wedding. You won’t regret it.
Mahalo, Ed, for everything you did and more. It was an honor having you at our wedding, and we can’t wait to visit the Big Island and cross paths again in the future!
With love from your gangsta couple,
Esther & Ryan
The music, the man, DJ Ed Geer. I nicknamed him, “The Voice,” as soon as I heard him over the PA system. Found out later that he used to be on the radio.

edding was held at the Kona Salt Farm in February 2026. I was a guest but also assisted with the planning and coordination as none of us were from Kona. Initially, the plan was to have recorded music with a friend serving as the emcee. Having worked for an entertainment company (not as a performer) I was very happy when the couple decided on hiring a professional DJ instead. Timing is critical on a show, and I got spoiled expecting that in every type of performance/event I attended.
Ed provided the sound system and mic’d the groom and officiant for the ceremony while the main set up was in the reception area of the oceanfront sandstone. The bridal couple worked with Ed on the playlist for the ceremony, pupus/hors d’oeuvres reception, dinner and dancing. Not until sunset, did I notice the lighting focused on Ed’s set up as well as the “stage/dancing” area. The soft uplighting at the foot of the speakers’ stands added such a beautiful ambience to an already incredible setting.
Ed is a consummate professional, with a great personality, easy to work with and very accommodating. He kept the entire event in smooth harmony from ceremony, reception, to the couple’s sparklers send-off. Everything flowed perfectly, thanks to Ed. Nothing comes to mind when everything’s running smoothly. It’s only noticeable when there are glitches or uncomfortable pauses. We had none.
From the flower girl & boy to the ring bearer, young adults and even seniors, he had the place hopping. It was great seeing everyone having so much fun and enjoying themselves. I can’t imagine we would have had the same excitement and light show or expended energy with taped music. The guests did not want the evening to end . . . what more can you ask for? A great wedding celebration with happy guests not wanting to leave! All thanks to Ed "The Voice" Geer.
Ed Geer was absolutely incredible and truly exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding. From start to finish, he accommodated all of our needs and went above and beyond to m...
ake our event unforgettable.
One of the things we appreciated most was that Ed let us fully customize our music selections for the night and used his DJ magic to blend all of our songs together seamlessly, even our more “weird” or unconventional picks. He took our vision and elevated it beyond what we could have imagined!
The lighting he provided was so fun and made the dance floor absolutely pop with vibrant multicolored lights, transforming the entire space into an energetic and beautiful party atmosphere. The dance floor setup itself was amazing and became the heart of the celebration all night long. I promise you it was rarely empty!
Beyond being an exceptional DJ, Ed was also a phenomenal emcee and narrated the evening with elegance and professionalism. He guided the entire night so smoothly, ensuring every transition felt effortless and polished.
What impressed us most was how thoughtfully Ed catered to the many cultures represented at our wedding. He seamlessly incorporated music from each of them, making every guest feel included, celebrated, and excited to be on the dance floor. He also narrated some cultural traditions we included in our wedding for our guests.
Our entire event flowed effortlessly and comfortably because of Ed. He curated the perfect soundtrack for the entire evening and ensured every moment transitioned beautifully. His professionalism, talent, and attention to detail made such a huge impact on our day.
If you are looking for a DJ and emcee who is organized, talented, culturally versatile, and truly committed to creating an exceptional experience, Ed is the one. We are beyond grateful for everything he did to make our wedding so magical!

ergy and kept the flow of the evening running perfectly. He read the crowd so well, kept the dance floor packed all night, and also took care of all our lighting and set up the dance floor! The night wouldn’t have been the same without it all!
Not only is he incredibly talented, but he’s also so kind and generous. He truly went above and beyond for us, and we’ll always remember how special he made our celebration feel. We would recommend Ed to anyone looking for a DJ who genuinely cares about making your day perfect. Thank you, Ed, for being such an important part of our special day!

his services sooner rather than later. My husband in particular was worried about music and wanted very specific songs played, but from the first planning call with Ed I knew he was going to execute our vision perfectly. He told us all we had to do was show up and have fun, and he was right! Thank you so much Ed!

for both timing of the different parts of the wedding and the music, of course.
The whole evening went so well. I felt like it was perfect and once it got started I didnt have to worry about anything (except to "go over here for pictures", then "go over there for pictures" haha).
With Ed you will get his personal time and experience, his dedication to detail and flexibility AND a wonderful Aloha spirit. We appreciate all the work he put into getting our day right and making it fun and happy.

to heart, as well as suggesting things that might make my special day go smoother. I have very specific music tastes and Ed made sure to incorporate all songs I requested of him at the exact perfect times during the reception. His timing was impeccable and the songs he chose fit perfectly with our style of music because he really took the time to listen to us. He did a fantastic job of keeping things flowing so there was not a single dull moment at my wedding. And when the dancing started everybody was on the dance floor having a blast until the very last song. I’m so glad I chose Ed for my wedding. It is evident he loves what he does and enjoys helping people have the best day of their lives! I would absolutely recommend Ed to anyone!

nate with us for our wedding. He spent time on the phone getting to know us and what we expected from him during our special day. At no point did he try to hijack our music choices, but instead made it all about us and what made us happy. He took the time to establish a timeline for the entire wedding event and what music would be played accordingly. Also, he ensured that he had the correct pronunciations for all names. He requested we compile a list of music to be played during our cocktail hour/reception. Once we provided him with the music, he painted a picture with music as he would say.
DJ Ed Geer took the time to meet us for our rehearsal and go over the wedding day details. On our wedding day, he maintained a constant coordination with our coordinator to ensure that we stuck to our timeline. He did a great job making sure our guests stayed engaged throughout the wedding with our selection of music. Overall, DJ Ed was amazing, and we are so happy he was able to DJ our wedding. Mahalo Ed for being a part of our special day!

e our highest recommendation. Ed was always willing to meet with us or chat over the phone if we needed anything. Our guests loved having him as the MC and DJ for our reception and we could not have imagined a better choice for our event.

us with our wedding and we couldn't have been happier! He MC'd the whole night and did a fantastic job with the music and running the show for the night. On top of all that he handled our lighting as well which made the whole night magical. The uplighting on palm trees and market light strings creating a canopy overhead really set the scene for an amazing sunset wedding and reception! Definitely a must book if you are thinking about using a DJ for your event.

he followed exactly what we wanted from announcements to song choices. I really wanted a "party" during the reception and Ed made sure of that with the song choices and keeping the dance floor alive. I am a firm believer that music brings people together and it rang true on our wedding night. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Jenni and Josh

you expect while enjoying Hawaii. Our family was more than happy with the song choices and we were extremely pleased with how he had the whole night planned out. Our wedding day was stressful, but Ed sat us down the day before and reviewed everything, putting us at peace, knowing he had it covered. If you are looking for the BEST on the Big Island you have found it. We are very secluded and he was able to keep our privacy which was and is a BIG concern for most of the guests. Thank you very much Ed, and we hope you are available the next time we are on the Big Island!

ils and to go over what type of "music vibe" we were going for. We were able to send him a list of preferred songs which he did a great job with mixing throughout the night along with keeping our guests entertained. He even surprised us when some guests wanted to dance to Mexican music and low and behold Ed came through since he already had the right jams in his arsenal. Ed made our wedding memorable and one our guests will not forget- there was even a dance battle! From our experience, you can't go wrong with Ed!

s soon as we spoke with Ed Geer from the Force Enterprises Mobile DJ we knew he was the right guy for the Job. Ed was very accommodating to our constantly changing requests, responded quickly to our inquiries, and provided us with some great recommendations throughout the process. The day of the wedding he showed up on time, set everything up promptly and was everything we could have hoped for in an emcee/DJ. The dance floor was packed the whole night, and everyone, including Ed seemed to be enjoying themselves. I highly recommend Ed for any event you may need an emcee/DJ for, he won't disappoint.

he not only fulfilled our hopes, but brought such a fun, easy going energy to our special day. Ed is truly amazing! He came to visit out wedding venue the day before and made some helpful suggestions on where to set up the dance floor and speakers - and he was so right! The day of, Ed set up all of his equipment for the ceremony only for it to start raining! He was so accommodating to the quick change of plans. Ed had to RE-set up all of his equipment out of the rain and he did it with such ease. The ceremony continued and the music played just as planned making those moments so special. Ed was able to allow everything to roll so smoothly from the ceremony music to cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting, first dances, and then partying the night away! We couldn't have done it without him. I would recommend Ed Geer for any wedding or large event - you will not regret it!
My mom literally booked Ed for our DJ and emcee a couple days before our Wedding at Anna Ranch on 5/10/15!!!! We had an ukulelist for three hours and was going to play the boombox ...
afterwards!! I'm soo thankful we didn't and got Ed as our DJ instead!!! He was very professional, typed out his own program and all :) His music, lighting, sounds, and everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations!!! (Mind you, I've been to plenty of parties with crappy dj's that just play chicken scratch!!! I've even booked one before :( Which is why I was very hesitant to spend a lot of money on a dj)
Ohh Boy was I wrong!!! Ed had everyone dancing!!! Even the guest who don't ever dance, we're dancing!!! It's three days past my wedding and my feet are still sore from dancing all night. Even lost my voice screaming soo much!!!
It was an Amazing, Memorable, Filled with Tons of Love, Tears, and Laughter Wedding!!!! It was Everything I prayed for and more!!! Thank you soo much Ed for helping to make Vini and I's Wedding so Special!!!

lists of songs to play during our reception, from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. We selected several must-play songs. We trusted Ed to sense how the guests were reacting to songs and to play songs that he felt would be hits with our guests. We felt he did an excellent job. He made the process very simple with low stress. He even recognized and went out of his way to greet our parents at the grocery store, weeks after our wedding. Very pleased with Ed Geer!
