nd it was seriously a game-changer. First off, the place is gorgeous. It's got that perfect Texas Hill Country vibe, with beautiful views and cozy cottages. What really sold us was the atmosphere – it felt so intimate and special, not like some stuffy ballroom. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they made the whole planning process a breeze. ran to Walmart during our reception to buy a couple bottles of mosquito spray after recent rains. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, we used the chapel for our ceremony, and the venue both indoor and outdoor for our reception. We got so many compliments from our guests about how nice it was to be able to stay on property in the cabins. We have absolutely zero complaints and wouldn’t change a thing about our day. This is the place to be!

He also helped get us set up with the audio system from our phones. During the many months of wedding planning, Amy M with the venue was amazing. She is very responsive via email. She responds quickly and was always answering questions and giving us information/advice on various aspects of the wedding and planning process. The grounds themselves are absolutely beautiful. The venue is situated a short drive from downtown Fredericksburg which is convenient, but it still manages to feel secluded in the best way. There is so much beautiful nature, with lots of deer and cows that roam the grounds. Jeff even spread out some of the feed in front of the chapel on our wedding day, so the cows were front and center in front of the chapel. This was so fun for our guests and really added to the Texas ranch feeling (as well as being adorable!). The beautiful scenery was the perfect backdrop for our newlywed photos. The chapel is new and has a simple beauty to it, and it doesn’t need much decor or florals if you don’t want. We kept it simple with basic florals and some bows, and it was gorgeous. The windows let in so much natural light which really helped our photos turn out stunning. The reception hall is just a short walk away and was the perfect size for our guest count of about 100 people. It easily accommodated the necessary number of tables for guests and the buffet as well as the DJ, cake table, photo booth, head table, welcome table etc. while still allowing us to have a roomy dance floor. The bridal suite could get a little tight if you have a large bridal party or large hair/makeup team, but fit my 5 bridesmaids and beauty team comfortably. The cabins on site were the perfect arrangement for our guests, who were all coming from pretty far out of town or out of state. It allowed us to gather the day/night before the wedding and spend some extra time together for my husband and my extended families to meet. The cabins are also walkable to the reception hall, which meant no one was worrying about driving after the reception, so everyone was able to be in full party mode! We had such a great experience here!

And It was so nice to have our people stay close in the cabins, it made it feel like we really got to actually see and spend time with our guests throughout the weekend. rove onto the property and met with the owner, Jeff, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. We planned our 3-day wedding event for 18 months and Jeff and Amy answered every question and request promptly and with professionalism. The staff at the Country Inn Cottages treated us like family and Jeanett, Aaron, and Tara are A+. They took great care in managing guest reservations, organizing smooth check-ins, and providing a first class experience. Our guests traveled from all over the country and stayed in the 44 on-site cabins. The location 5 miles from Main Street provided access to shopping and entertainment with a relaxing and peaceful setting on 200 acres in the Texas Hill Country. Everyone absolutely loved the charming cabins and commented on how well they slept in the tranquil environment. The socialized deer came right up to your cabin if you offered them corn. We rented Cabin 5 which served as our home base and staging area. The 48 hour venue rental was ideal to avoid the Saturday set-up stress. The cabins were all occupied by our party so we held our Friday night welcome event in the courtyard with food and beverage trucks and an acoustic guitar set. My husband is still talking about how much fun the guys had at their onsite skeet shooting adventure on Saturday morning! The event center accommodated our 100 guests, numerous food stations, Processo cart, water color sketch artists, and dueling pianos. Last year, they made our dreams come true and built a gorgeous white chapel next to the event center. We were able to plan our wedding from Houston thanks to our best-in-the-business wedding coordinator, Donna Solbrig. We worked with Donna for 18 months and she helped us navigate every step. All her recommendations were spot on and she runs a tight logistical ship. We will always be grateful for the magical experience gifted to us and our family and friends by The Lodge. We now have new lifelong friends and a place to visit that holds one of our most cherished memories.

Both Jeff and Amy were excellent communicators and I believe what we got for the price was unparalleled. This was the only venue we ever looked at because it was everything we wanted- the main lodge, the chapel, the grounds and the cottages on the property- all gave us the wedding of our dreams! art to finish. The location and venue are nothing short of amazing! There were enough cabins available on the property to allow over 120 of our guests to actually stay on-site for the entire weekend. From the glass chapel, reception hall with a Bose sound system and an outdoor patio... they had everything we needed to make the Carello-Mardaga wedding and reception an event to remember. It's days later and we are still getting calls and emails from guests that can't stop talking about it. Go down to Fredericksburg and visit this place. You'll be glad you did!
