We had a tight schedule getting wedding invites out and they made sure we were taken care of and worked extremely hard to get the pictures back to us in time for us to get them out. Every moment they captured on the wedding day was absolutely perfect. Additionally, the wedding video they made for us was better than we ever imagined. Austin and Nicole are the professional wedding photographers behind Adventure Wedding Photography in Eagle, ID. This husband-and-wife team is dedicated to producing exceptional images that artfully showcase your big day. Over the past 18 years, this duo has honed in on their wedding and landscape photography skills and are passionate about capturing milestone moments.
Austin initially aspired to be a director of photography and went on to study film in college. Near the end of his program, he purchased his first camera, which changed the direction of his career. He soon found that he couldn't stop taking photos, and he has continued since 2008. Nicole also has an immense passion for photography, making them an ideal team. Together, they decided to establish a business where they could travel and take wedding photos for couples, leading to the start of Adventure Wedding Photography.
Austin and Nicole offer both photography and videography services. They are even able to capture slow-motion and zero-gravity films. The final photos at Adventure Wedding Photography are precisely edited to the duo's high standards with their state-of-the-art software. I studied and obsessed over every beautiful film out there & eventually wanted to be a Director of Photography one day (people who setup lighting for movie scenes). I watched, analyzed, and obsessed over every award-winning film in existence. I yearned to learn how film production studios lit every scene & thoroughly enjoyed constantly listening to great film scores.

Austin and Nicole started as strangers but quickly became family. My husband, who hates taking photos, actually looked forward to our adventure session with them! The photos are marked by gorgeous, deep colors and clarity. They captured all the right moments and provided us with plenty of photos to choose from. Though we had a huge list of photos that we wanted to get before and after the ceremony, they had the patience and organization to make it easy and efficient.
The video has stunning footage and is truly like our own wedding movie. Our vows are the music to most of it, and I absolutely love that. Austin is extremely talented in both filming and editing. For the friends and family that couldn't make it, the video makes them feel like they were there. I had asked Austin to make it a bit upbeat and energetic, but also sentimental. He absolutely killed it. We are so happy with the product and moved to tears every time. I only wished I'd booked them an extra hour to capture my brothers parading me around on their shoulders across the dance floor to "Juice", by Lizzo. So let that be your lesson! lol
We had the chance to get to know Austin and Nicole during an adventure session a couple of days before the wedding in Glacier NP. Even though we were driving through a rain storm on the way to the spot we planned to shoot, they kept the faith. We escaped with absolutely beautiful photos and not a drop of rain on us! The next day we ran into them adventuring, and the following day they showed up looking spiffy and ready to go. I was able to fully let go and trust them to capture it all.
As does pretty much every other review, I give my highest recommendation to Austin and Nicole. We are so grateful to have worked with them!! :)

Look no further than Austin and Nicole. This husband and wife team is so well versed at working together, going with any unexpected changes, and bringing a great energy to the day....
We got back our photos and video and our jaws dropped - the only accurate description is WOW. We used them in a national park for an outdoor wedding and they captured the ambience perfectly. They captured so many little candid moments we missed, which really brought another round of joy as we got to relive the night later and see our friends and family celebrating and having a great time. They are professionals and will make sure they capture speeches clearly, are efficient with family photos, and I can't imagine them ever being a difficult vendor to work with. We had about 100 guests and they captured candid moments of nearly every one during the reception, plus the detail shots and posed photos.

Austin and Nicole were both incredibly flexible when things came up and we got behind or changes our original plan throughout the entire day. They both were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful reminding us to smile when fatigue was in or helping us get in a more aesthetic position/pose during formal photography.
The dance floor was incredibly important to my husband and they did a wonderful job capturing his personality as well as many of our loved ones. All speeches were captured beautifully and our wedding video is something we will watch again and again.
Neither me or my husband are very comfortable in from of camera but this two can find the magic in every moment and created truly beautiful work for us to treasure.
There is a true magic working with a husband and wife team, they balance each other wonderful and collectively understand what is important to both parties involved.
All of our media was delivered timely and they kept great communication with us the entire time.
Highly recommend for any event! Would choose them over and over again!

and both my now husband and I, as well as our guests, felt like Austin and Nicole were part of our wedding party. They were funny, kind, and go-with-the-flow on the day of. The photos were incredible and captured all the right moments, expressions, and details. I cannot say this enough, the cinematography was STUNNING. We’ve had so many complements from people who have watched our film and seen our photos, and they’ve said that even though they could not attend due to the pandemic, Adventure Wedding Photography made them feel like they were there. Thank you so much Austin and Nicole for a perfect experience, and for giving us amazing photos and film to look back on the rest of our lives.

It was like Christmas morning every time getting to see all of their work. They have a way with the camera and really do capture the raw emotions and beauty of the people and scenery. Everything was wonderful from beginning to end and we could not recommend them enough to anyone looking for incredible wedding photography!!

the dark and the other photographers we contacted all had prior engagements so we resigned ourselves to the likelihood that AWP was probably unavailable too. Luckily, one of their couples had rescheduled so they had an opening the weekend we had picked and we went ahead and booked them. Best. Decision. Ever. Austin and Nicole were extremely down to earth and calm amidst our rather disorganized wedding chaos. They were easy to be around and made us feel comfortable even in the posed pictures. Our wedding was sort of unconventional because we didn't do the cake feeding, or a first dance, or bouquet toss or any formal reception at all but they still got a lot of really beautiful shots. They both had great sense of humor and went along with some of the sillier pictures we requested and I think did a wonderful job of capturing our personalities. I told my husband we have to renew our vows every year and hire them annually to take photos! Too bad they don't do photography for every occasion. The films were also breathtaking, especially the drone footage. Austin and Nicole are both incredibly talented and creative and I would HIGHLY recommend Adventure Wedding Photography.

truly have found a way to stop time a give you back the most memorable day of your life. One that does go by too incredibly fast. They capture love, laughter, tears, joy, and the purest moments that seem to fade as the days pass by. ely accommodating to our schedule and wishes to take photos and video offsite in the National Park even though they had a long hectic day prior to our wedding. They were so relaxed and helped us relax on a day when I was mentally frantic and coached us along for the photos and videography. They are both so sweet and fun to be around!
Many of our guests commented to us how kind Austin and Nicole are and how seamlessly they moved through our ceremony and reception. My brother even said, “I love how Austin just blended into the background. Most of the time you didn’t know he was there.”
We are so happy with their work and are so grateful that we have so many wonderful memories captured by such amazing professionals. We would love to get married again just to work with them again! ;-)
