Channing was absolutely amazing to work with!! So sweet and amazing at getting you in the perfect poses. My husband is not a big picture taker and he said he actually had a lot of fun for our engagement shoot. She captured our wedding so beautifully, got everyone in place quickly, and got all the shots I wanted plus some I forgot about!! Book her!!!!

Channing and her second shooter photographed my 100+ person wedding in Houma, LA in March 2021. She was a delight to work with the day of the wedding and was professional in all communication leading up to the big day. She provided suggestions regarding the timeline to ensure the best lighting possible for photos. She and her staff provided clear directions while posing for family photos to get us on the dance floor as quickly as possible. She additionally took our engagement photos in Baton Rouge, LA during what felt like the hottest and most humid day of the year. She is either fantastic behind the camera or in photoshop because you cannot tell in our photos. I would - and do - recommend Channing to any friends or family.

Channing was an absolute life saver throughout our entire wedding process. We had to postpone due to Hurricane Ida. And for the grand finale the priest was 45 minutes late! She was phenomenal from start to finish. You won’t regret hiring her!

We had an outdoor wedding and it was storming. Everything was going wrong, between the rain to a stray dog trying to pee on our wedding decorations, Channing had everything under control and went from a photographer to basically a wedding planner. I would not have survived my wedding without Channing. Despite the weather being terrible, our pictures were beautiful!!! She captured everything we wanted and more. I will never use another photographer again!

Channing was absolutely amazing for my wedding, she had ever single picture planned to a tee, and we got everything we wanted with out feeling like we were taking pictures all night long. It was so great. She captured all the special moments but also all the fun ones too! She was so sweet, but told our silly bridal party when to settle down when need be as well. It was really nice to have her do that so that as the bride I didn’t have too. She put everyone in their place, posed everyone as they needed to be and we got phonomenal photos! I would recommend Channing to literally anyone getting married, or for any other event! Can’t say enough amazing things about her and her group!

From the minute I met Channing, I knew it would turn into a long lasting friendship. After having difficulties with our first hired photographer, I reached out to Channing with my concerns and to inquire about her services. She responded in a quick and timely manner and listened to all my concerns. She answered every question I had and made me feel completely reassured in my decision. It was then that my husband and I chose to forgo our deposit with the previous photographer and sign a contract with Channing Candies Photography, and it was the best decision we could have made. Channing worked hard to accommodate our schedules to get us in for our engagement photos as soon as possible. I was so impressed when our gallery was emailed to us weeks before expected! During the wedding process, I wrote to Channing handfuls of silly questions and she always wrote back to me with her profession opinion. It was nice to know that my questions, no matter how silly they seemed, we’re always answered with respect. Then came pre-bridals, where I fell sick with Covid, my husband sick with Covid, and pictures were rescheduled 3 times. Most photographers would have been furious to reschedule but each time Channing assured me that it would be fine and that my pre-bridals would be finished before the wedding, which she delivered and they were flawless! On my wedding day, Channing and Alyson couldn’t have been more helpful. From keeping the girls and I on schedule, listening to my concerns, lending a tissue for me to cry when I felt things were not going as planned. They helped me stay calm and continued to keep things on track. One thing I didn’t want to regret looking back at on my wedding day was my pictures and I can rest easy knowing that my photos were everything I could have ever imagined they would be and more. I can’t thank Channing enough for the gift she has given me. She truly helped to make my wedding day, the best day of my life. I will forever be grateful for her services and can’t wait to work with her in the future!🤍

We honestly could not have asked for a more wonderful, talented, and kind hearted person to be our wedding photographer! After a 2 year engagement then getting married in the midst of Covid, she stuck by our side through it all. Channing and her assistants worked so hard at our private Covid wedding and our reblessing. Not only did she make taking so many pictures enjoyable, but the photos came out amazing. We received all of our photos back within two months which is super quick considering how many photos she took. We could never find the right words to speak highly enough and describe just how overly satisfied we were with her work. We look forward to planning future sessions with her in the years to come. Seriously, Channing was the best ever! We go to her for all of our kids and family pictures also! I didn’t have a day of wedding coordinator, but she basically was that as well. She kept everything going smoothly and we never missed a beat! She was good with everyone, parents (divorced parents), wedding party, and the kids. I was so impressed with Channing's efficiency! The bride and groom did not spend their whole night taking pictures. She made sure to get everything taken care of right away so they could enjoy their night. As a guest, she made sure that we were included in the photos also. Her assistant went to EVERY table to get group shots while Channing stayed on the dance floor to capture all the awesome dance moves and silliness taking place. I HIGHLY recommend her for weddings!
