Now booking 2024 & 2025! Vida Buena Farm can be your private 34-acre estate in the rolling hills of the historic California gold country. Imagine taking your vows under the 100-year old majestic Oak tree. Welcome your family and friends to the Big Red Barn for dinner and dancing, and spend a romantic evening in the charming Bridal Loft (Fri/Sat night accommodations included). Walk up the grand stairs to the Mediterranean inspired gardens, past the fountain and herb garden to the bocce court, framed by vine-laden trellises. At Vida Buena Farm, you can create your perfect wedding experience – anything you want from the food and the wine, to the music and decor, is up to you. At Vida Buena Farm you have private access from Friday until Sunday of your wedding weekend. We're extremely accommodating and want your wedding to be perfect. We provide day-of event coordination for all our events included in the venue rental fee. Venue rental fee includes many items other venues charge for, including: tables, chairs, place setting/flatware/glassware, dance floor, 2 mobile bars, 4 vintage wooden tables (gift, cake and sweetheart tables), portable heaters, umbrellas, and event signage. We have both Indoor and Outdoor options available as necessary based on restrictions and/or weather.

I don’t even know if I have the words to describe what Laura and Rick did for us. From the initial FaceTime to view the venue (yes I booked them without seeing the venue in person and I am SOOOO happy I did) to the day of when our taco truck was an hour and a half late, they were on top of things and everything ran so smoothly. I will ALWAYS recommend Vida Buena to anyone who is thinking of getting married

Rick and Laura along with their staff are amazing! It's Rick and Laura's venue but they truly let it be yours for your wedding. Excellent catering by Laura and a perfect and customized ceremony reading by Rick! They are so flexible and supportive of your dream wedding and will do anything to make it a dream come true. The barn is absolutely beautiful! They are such wonderful people. I rate them 10 stars!

Vida Buena was an amazing choice for our wedding venue! Laura and Rick were incredibly kind, helpful, and stress free throughout the entire process, from our first tour all the way to the big day. They have all the experience and passion necessary to make your wedding weekend everything you always dreamed it would be. The ceremony in the tree knoll behind the barn was the perfect simple but beautiful spot and all of our guests loved the look of the barn, especially after the sun set and all the twinkle lights were turned on! In addition to helping us plan and decorate a fantastic wedding weekend, Laura was also extremely helpful as the day-of coordinator for us, reaching out to all the vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page for the day's schedule and ensuring everyone arrived and was set up on time. We also loved having the venue from Friday through Sunday, it made decoration set up and take down so much less stressful. Thank you Laura and Rick for everything you did and for helping to make our wedding weekend so amazing!!

OMG! I cannot say enough about how absolutely amazing Rick and Laura are. I was so blessed to have met them and worked with them for the past two years. Anything you want they will make happen. They are the most caring and passionate venue owners. Laura make the most fantastic catering menu, from welcome reception, appetizers, dinner and etc.! Rick was the best officiant I could have eve asked to have for my wedding. He helped put together an amazing ceremony that really showed our personalities. This is the place to be! Stop wasting your time with any other venue, because this is the BEST venue in California book them now! Thank you RICK and Laura for making our day the most perfect day that I could ever dream of. There is not enough space for me to write all the amazing things this venue does for brides. You will forever hold such an special place in my heart!!!!! Laura and Rick at Vida Buena Farm made our wedding day an absolute dream! From start to finish, working with them was EASY. Laura was always one email or text away which helped keep my stress really low. She catered our cocktail hour and designed three delicous appetizers for our guests that were a hit. We majorly appreciated that they didn't say "no" to any of our ideas or design asks and were with us every minute of the big day helping us execute! Now for the property, we got married 4/30/2022 and everything was green! There were cows roaming around during our rehearsal, but magically there were no sign of them come the wedding day. :) It is clear Laura and Rick take pride in their property. The barn is beautiful and needs very minimal decor since the rustic beauty speaks for itself. I wanted a venue with lots of outdoor space for vendors and lawn games. Vida Buena offers exactly this! We made use of all three areas..the ceremony site, the patio for cocktail hour, and the barn. Lets not forget the beautiful stage we danced the night away on! Overall, our guests loved all the spaces and we keep receiving feedback about how FUN our wedding was. Thank you Rick and Laura for helping us with the wedding of our dreams! The whole day was perfect and Vida Buena Farm played a large part in that. 💕

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue. Laura and Rick were absolutely amazing from the start and made the entire process so seamless and stress free. Laura catered for us and after listening to our ideas (we were all over the place) we ended up deciding on having a taco themed dinner. Her food was delicious, from the empanada appetizers to the tacos- we got so many compliments. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and there are so many different ways to utilize it. Laura and Rick are unbelievably flexible and honestly will make whatever you want work. We brought up the idea of having our ceremony in a different location, and the next day Rick had cleared it all out and it was ready to go- they really are amazing! They also allowed us and our guests to camp on the property which was so much fun. Laura then catered breakfast for us the next morning- also delicious! Being able to utilize the venue from Friday-Sunday was also a huge plus- we never felt rushed. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with Vida Buena Farm and Rick and Laura!

Rick and Laura were the most gracious hosts; what a blessing it was to find Vida Buena Farm. Of course, like most brides in 2020, we had to change our wedding plans a few times due to COVID and Rick and Laura were always very supportive and assisting with suggestions to keep our day special. The venue has so much to offer from a beautiful meadow and single oak tree to a smaller tree grove; not to mention the amazing barn and bocce ball court covered with winery vines! The barn's loft area is great for a Bridal Suite. It is so beautifully thought out with rustic and vintage touches throughout the space and the most amazing bathroom. It is obvious that all the elements on the property have been built with love by Rick - You can even rent some gorgeous live edge farm tables for your special day! In the midst of our day, there were small things that I had forgotten about and Laura was quick to address! She had a playlist ready for our guests during cocktail hour while we were out taking photos. Laura was a great contact for our vendors, calling them to clarify deliveries on the day of. I know it was hard in 2020 for venues, but Vida Buena pushed ahead creating new tables for incoming brides, landscaping and recovering a cute pond and building out an amazing kitchen in the barn for catering use! They were busy this year!! While the venue itself is amazing, we were truly blessed to meet Laura and Rick as well and we can not wait to come back and enjoy some more wine with them at the farm! (When visiting Vida Buena Farm, be sure to ask for some of their sparkly bubbles they make at Hovey Winery, it is delicious!)

Getting married at Vida Buena Farm exceeded our expectations and made for the perfect day. I was impressed with Rick and Laura’s communication from the planning stage of our wedding all the way to saying our goodbyes at the end of our special night. Everyone loved the welcome reception (mimosa/charcuterie), beautiful ceremony, and delicious plates. Thank you Rick and Laura!

Vida Buena Farm is such a unique, personable, and extremely stunning venue! The hospitality Rick and Laura showed us was incredible! Laura really helped me plan things out the day before the big day; to finding out where things should go, helping plan my schedule, to make sure my groom was hidden the day of ;) The venue is so extremely beautiful it speaks for itself. My day turned out awesome and wouldn't have changed a single thing.
