I recently got married in 2017 and ever since then, my heart is even bigger for your wedding day from the little moments to those big unforgettable ones. But let’s be real, it's ALL unforgettable and I’m here to make sure you can look back on all of it!
I also team up with my husband who is a videographer to make sure your memories are being captured in the still and the moving parts. From local to international and traditional to elopements, we are up for every adventure and look forward to seeing what makes you you.

ng a small, intimate elopement ceremony two weeks before our original wedding date. We reached out to Skylar at the last minute to see if she could photograph the day, and she immediately responded with a resounding "yes!" She was warm, kind, super easy to work with, prepared, organized, and of course - she has an incredible eye! She perfectly captured the intimacy, love, and excitement of the day through her camera lens. She showed up in our time of need, and went above and beyond to make to make our last-minute ceremony feel special. We could not be more thrilled with our photos, which we will cherish for years to come!

And I was not disappointed. I don’t think I can even begin to describe in words how AMAZING our wedding pictures turned out. She was able to use my vision and created exactly the pictures I had dreamed of. She and her husband Jimmy (he was our videographer) are both so warm and friendly, and literally someone you can just sit down and have a coffee with and talk to. I 100% recommend her! They were very patient with waiting for all of us to be ready to get the best shot. Before we even booked their flights to come see us, Skylar sent Austin (my husband) and I a questionnaire to get to know each of us a little better as a couple. This is by far my favorite thing that she does in her business! It made us feel so loved and cared for! She then proceeded to send Austin and I each an individualized gift that coincided with what we had written in our questionnaire. I knew Skylar to be such a hospitable person, but I loved seeing it carry over into her business!
The entire process of photos on our wedding day went so incredibly smooth! Skylar and her husband came to our rehearsal dinner and blended in like they were family. The day of the wedding was so peaceful. Skylar was SO professional and so helpful. She showed raw emotion and really made a connection with us both as her friends and her clients. She was fully engaged and present but secretive, careful to not "intrude" on any important moments for specific shots. She was truly there FOR us as her clients.
I have been recommending her to everyone we come in contact with who is looking for a photographer! She's worth it to fly in from Oregon no matter where your wedding is ;) Austin and I couldn't be happier with how Skylar Coonan Photography showered us with love, kindness, and professionalism. 13/10 recommend her!!
