I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Mel on my engagement ring, wedding band as well as my husband's wedding band from Mel at Wedding Ring Originals. Mel created my...
sisters engagement ring and wedding band and I have loved it for years and couldn't wait to work with him when I got engaged. I couldn't be more delighted with the entire experience. From start to finish, Mel demonstrated unparalleled professionalism, expertise, and a genuine passion for helping me find the perfect ring. Mel gave us a level of customer service that is a throwback to another era. He patiently worked with us as we discovered what we wanted, and explained the thought process behind each decision the three of us would make together. Mel is truly an expert and a complete mensch. I get compliments on my rings all the time. I highly recommend working with Mel - you will love working with him and you will love your jewelry!
I came to Mel with two antique brooches, both late Victorian or early Edwardian, both passed down through my mother’s family—one diamond and platinum, one amethyst and diamond and ...
gold. I wanted to have them made into jewelry I would actually wear, but had been putting it off because I was nervous about the process…however, Mel’s knowledge of jewelry history and appreciation of the original work told me immediately that the brooches and I were in good hands. He worked with me to create SIX gorgeous new pieces that fit my aesthetic and my lifestyle—all elegant and special, but also pretty and simple enough for me to wear casually, which is just what I wanted. He was easy to collaborate with, had great ideas and helped me sort through mine, and he really knows his stuff! Highly recommend.

nervous. But Mel immediately created a sense of warmth and trust which was essential to us in being able to choose rings that we felt truly symbolized our love, commitment and union. Thank you SO much!

ess. We went back to Mel to customize our bands for our wedding. My husband wanted 2 custom bands aside from my wedding band. WRO didn't disappoint us with the quality and customer service. I am often compliment on both my band and engagement ring. In 2021 I went back to WRO for a 5th ring. We love their work.

ing very special and Mel delivered perfectly.
I am so grateful and lucky to have found him in Manhattan. Mel's work is the best in NYC for truly original, beautiful wedding rings. I have shopped around many retail jewelers and none of them had the expertise and service that Mel provides for wedding rings.
Truly nowhere better.
I first met Mel when my second husband and I were looking for wedding rings. The marriage didn't last, but my relationship with Mel did, and in the past 20 years, he's made me 11 ...
rings, three pairs of earrings and 2 necklaces, all beautifully made with top quality stones and first class workmanship (his engraver must be the best in all of NYC). Mel is knowledgeable, creative, honest, and delivers on time - highly recommended for all of your jewelry needs, not just wedding rings!

e and originality with little success. Mel was extremely charming and patient with us in showcasing how various rings would look. Once the budget was established, he honed in on my partner’s desire for a creative, less traditional ring with sapphires as the main focal point, providing us numerous examples of how it would look. The final product is stunningly gorgeous; the quality of the gemstones apparent to anyone who sees it. Mel made the process of choosing the right engagement ring truly engaging, the final result a true product of passion. Without hesitation, we recommend it to anyone.
