at. The makeup artist Erin was super friendly and talkative, but was unfortunately more than 30 minutes late. To catch up on time she was rushing through everyone’s makeup, and didn’t take a lot of time to ask what everyone wanted. She didn’t use primer, powder, or setting spray, and didn’t prep our skin in any way before applying makeup. My bridesmaids all went before me and none of them were happy with their makeup, with eyebrows and lack of undereye concealer being the main concerns, but there was no time for fixes because she arrived late. My eye makeup was gorgeous, but I was a little disappointed that she didn’t put anything on my face to help conceal my acne scars, and didn’t put anything on to set my makeup so I had to reapply most things on my own after photos before the wedding started.

oughout the entire day. As a team, they made eight women who barely wear makeup, let alone professional makeup, feel so comfortable and confident that it brought tears to some of their eyes. I've never been in a wedding party where not one member of the party had a single issue with either hair or makeup services until my own. As a team, they dominated the day but they glowed individually as well. April was the most versatile and talented hair stylist I have ever worked with. Each of those eight women have dramatically different hair length and texture and she effortlessly styled each to exactly what was asked for. She effectively braided, glam waved, fully curled, and did the most incredible up-do I have ever had done with my extreme natural curls. Every single person's hair lasted the entire night and did not fall once. She kept conversation rolling and ensured a last-call check before we walked out the door, even when told it was unnecessary for some. She is an incredible asset to your team. Erika, aside from her talent as a makeup artist, has the gift of distraction and gab that truly impacted my day dramatically. She was so intuitive to my emotions that she was able to distract me and get me to calm my nerves just by her entertainment. Aside from her emotional flexibility, she literally made every single face she touched completely flawless. Our makeup lasted the ENTIRE night and did not wear off after dancing or sweating. She was even kind enough to touch up a few spots on my (non-make up wearing, gender non-conforming) wife who said she was "the most confident" she's ever felt because of how natural and understanding Erika was with her. I cannot be more thankful to have had her on my wedding day team and there to make my wife feel flawless for the first time as well. I look forward to using both of their services again in the future and to tell anyone and everyone who will listen to BOOK THIS COMPANY! Thanks for everything you did to make my day so special.

They are gave me advice for making my day-of itinerary, and everything went smoothly- we were right on time! It was really important to me that my hair and make-up look natural- I wanted me and my bridal party to look like us on the wedding day- nothing too drastic. Wow, did they deliver!!! I cried when I saw myself for the first time, and every was happy with their looks. Many guests have since commented on how awesome the wedding party looked! We all danced all night, partied in the streets during our second line, and everyone's hair and make-up still looked amazing at the after party! I cannot say enough great stuff about this beauty team!

For the wedding day, there were 7 bridesmaids plus myself and my mom for hair, make up, and lashes and not only did they finish early with time for touch ups but the entire process was extremely low stress and felt like a group of friends just hanging out. Everyone was so happy with the final result and my make up and hair stayed in place through the afterparty! Definitely make Glam Nola a priority to book for your wedding!
