Sareen recently DJ'd our wedding and did a fantastic job at rolling with the weather punches and blending multiple genres of music together. He did a fantastic job playing music th...
at our dhol player could also play along with. If I ever get married again (which hopefully doesn't happen), I would reach out to Sareen in a heartbeat!
Phenomenal DJ!
I waited until only about a month out before I booked a DJ and was so happy I found Sareen. He was quick to respond and made the process super easy. We created a pla...
ylist and he added songs that fit the vibe to fill the gaps. We had a group with a pretty diverse taste in music and he was able to keep everyone entertained. He clearly laid out a timeline of the event and was there plenty early to set up. Very professional and very fun, I can’t recommend him enough!
Sareen is an amazing DJ! We wanted to play a combination of country music and Bollywood, which is no easy ask, but Sareen blended the genres together so seamlessly that we didn't e...
ven notice when he was switching between the two! He was also great at reading and responding to the vibe, and he had a fantastic selection of music.
Beyond the music, Sareen was great at communicating with us and was super reliable with responding to messages leading up to the event! He was punctual, respectful, friendly, and professional the entire evening. I would highly recommend his services, and definitely plan on asking him to DJ for our events in the future!
Sareen is a phenomenal DJ that I would wholeheartedly recommend and am glad to have had a chance to work with! He was punctual, so easy to work with, and truly made the night seaml...
ess. I had a bit of a complex music itinerary with a lot of traditional music, but Sareen navigated it with no issues and was also so quick to adapt when the weather changed our ceremony plans last minute.
We also received several compliments about the music and were so happy to see our close friends and family have a blast on the dance floor. I cannot thank Sareen enough for helping make our night memorable!
Sareen was great to work with, communicative, and during our wedding night he nailed the vibe from start to finish. Highly recommend.
Our reception guest list consisted of people from a wide variety of age groups, geographies, languages, and musical tastes, and we were looking for a DJ who shared our sensibilitie...
s and could make sure everyone would leave happy. Sareen exceeded our expectations! Planning was a breeze, and he was receptive to all our pre-written song requests and choice of overall vibe. On the day of, rain changed our cocktail hour plans, and Sareen took these changes in stride. The night ended with a happy crowd, and a very satisfied couple. Thank you very much, Sareen!
Sareen is amazing! He was totally flexible and open to our ideas but I also felt like we could just trust him to read the room and play the right music to keep the party going. We ...
were a destination wedding and he coordinated seamlessly with the planners and I truly didn't have to worry about anything. We <3 Sareen and highly recommend hiring him!!
Simply put, Sareen's the best. Of course Sareen was professional, timely, prepared and did everything a good wedding DJ would do: he took direction well and he took the time to get...
our input before the wedding & set the vibes accordingly for all parts (pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail, reception, afterparty).
What separates him from the good DJs and makes him GREAT is his deep-cut knowledge of music and his hatred of all things hacky. Not once did we ask "why is he playing this?" nor did we hear a song that you'd hear at college bar on dollar shot night. No Pitbull was heard that night. He even made sure to not take requests from cousins on the do-not-take-requests-from-this-cousin list. The playlist was eclectic and expansive, yet the transitions were seamless and we went from forgotten Kanye classics to timeless Whitney Houston bangers without even realizing how we got there.
The mark of a great DJ - every guest saying asking questions like "who was that DJ?" and "this is amazing what is this song?" Sareen had everyone buzzing and plenty of people walking away with their shoes off from dancing too hard.
Hire him. Your expectations will be surpassed.
Sareen was awesome at our wedding in 501 Union in Sept 2021. He did an amazing job, not only with DJ-ing a super fun and eclectic dance party, but also with MC-ing the night and co...
ordinating with the band that played during dinner. We had hired Sareen pre-pandemic and ended up having to postpone, and he was nothing but understanding and easy to work through the whole process. Highly recommend!
We were beyond pleased with Sareen! We rescheduled due to COVID, and he was always responsive and accommodating! The crowd loved him; he knew just the right music to play to get ev...
eryone on the dance floor and staying til the very last song. Great mix of music; hip hop, Bollywood, and the classics. Highly recommend working with Sareen.
Sareen was super responsive, and great at curating a playlist that fit all the different categories of music we wanted to mesh together for our wedding. Loved working with him, wou...
ld definitely recommend.
Sareen did an amazing job. We hired him in 2019 when we thought we were going to do our wedding in 2020, which we didn’t because of covid. We were able to have it this past weekend...
, and we were so happy we went with him. He went with the flow of planning and re-planning the event (and the date and venue) with us, listened carefully to our music preferences and approach, emceed the event great, and helped us get our groove on the dance floor. We were all bopping and didn’t want the music to end. Maybe best of all, I didn’t even need to do anything to coordinate with him on the day of. He showed up, set up, and was ready to go. A super pro through and through, I highly recommend Sareen for any gig.
Brides beware! While we wish we got to work with Sareen we were never given the chance. We hired him before COVID for our wedding in October. When we told him the venue changed as ...
our venue cancelled on us, he was not responsive, finally getting back to us that he was unsure if he could make it and that it would be more money. When I asked him how much he never replied! Finally, unsure of how to proceed I informed him that if he cannot make it, we’d have to cancel. He only refunded half of a $1000 deposit so we paid him $500 to be unresponsive and to cancel. All of our other vendors had no problem changing locations or refunding us due to these difficult times. There is no information about location on his contract and he was pretty inflexible. Don’t recommend unless you want to throw money out the window.
My husband is a bit of a music snob, so I was honestly a bit nervous about having a DJ at all. (I don't have strong feelings, just wanted everyone to dance and have fun.) We talked...
to Sareen a lot beforehand about what we wanted but also, specifically, what we didn't want. He nailed it. The dance floor was packed all night and people kept coming over to tell us how great the music was. If you want people to remember your wedding as one of the better parties they've been to, hire Sareen.
Sareen is the absolute best! He is a fantastic DJ, and we feel so lucky that we were able to have him at our wedding—especially on relatively short notice!
From the start, Sareen...
was super responsive and incredibly friendly. He has an astounding knowledge of all music genres and he knows how to keep the dance floor moving all night long—and he’s so great at emceeing too!!
Sareen was so easy to work with! We gave him a playlist of our must-haves and favorites and he blended it with the most perfect tunes. And he even let us decide up until the very last minute if we needed an extra hour.
We can 100% say that Sareen is the best wedding DJ in NYC! Thank you for helping to make our big day so special, Sareen!!
Sareen is an amazing DJ, and we were so fortunate to have him at our wedding. He went above and beyond what we expected. He played all the music we asked him to and his song select...
ion fit perfect with our reception. Sareen is incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and has great taste. We would definitely recommend him to DJ any wedding or event.
Sareen was a wonderful DJ and we loved having him at our wedding! Leading up to the wedding he was absolutely the easiest and most laid back of the vendors that we worked with.

the day of the wedding, Sareen went above and beyond! We had a slight issue with the venue's sound system for our ceremony and Sareen stepped in and saved the day!
At the reception, the music was wonderful, a perfect mix of our playlist of personal favorites and tons of crowd-pleasers to keep the dance floor moving!!
Several of our guests came up to us during and after our wedding to let us know how great Sareen was and I couldn't agree more!
If you're looking for a DJ who's super cool and knows how to keep the party going, look no further than Sareen!
Sareen is prompt, punctual and professional. He’s really accommodating and his style plays to the natural flow of your wedding without trying to overpower it. He did a great job se...
amlessly mixing the songs we wanted to play and keeping the crowd engaged on the dance floor. Strongly recommend.
Sareen rocks! We were pretty specific about the type of music we wanted at our wedding and Sareen was super easy to work with and did an amazing job putting everything together. Hi...
s selections kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night, and many of our guests were raving about how great Sareen was. We highly recommend Sareen!
I'm a wedding planner, and I was super impressed with Sareen's skills and demeanor as a DJ! He took a short list of my clients' favorites and ran with it, and even worked in some o...
f the mother of the bride's special requests. He managed to mix salsa, R&B, pop, disco, hip hop...one of few weddings I've worked where everyone, including the service staff, couldn't stop themselves from dancing. Of course, he was great with logistics leading up to the day as well. Responsive, flexible, easygoing...a planner's dream! Sareen is great.
Sareen was our DJ at our wedding on 3/23/19 at Dobbin St, and he did an amazing job. Leading up to the wedding he was super friendly, responsive, and reliable. He killed it at our...
reception and did a great job navigating a crowd with very diverse music preferences. He has a gift for reading the room and kept our wedding high-energy until the very end - we even ended up extending our reception by an extra hour because guests were having such a blast on the dance floor. Sareen helped to make our wedding unforgettable and I'm so glad we found him!
Sareen is hands down THE BEST wedding DJ in New York City. He know's how to read the room. He is the steady hand on the throttle of your party, keeping the energy exactly where it ...
should be at every moment of the night. His musical knowledge is insanely voluminous. Whatever your taste (and no matter the varying opinions competing for dominance) he will keep things fun and flowing. A seasoned musician and performer in his own right, he's killer at MC duties and can mix things up playing live guitar or keys if that's part of your dream. Seriously cannot recommend him enough!! THANK YOU!
Sareen absolutely KILLED it at our wedding! He was very easy to work with, in spite of my now-husband and I very different tastes in music (from hip hop to Latin to 80s jams). He c...
atered to both of our requests for songs and genres, and knew exactly what to play to fill up the dance floor! Super appreciated that he noticed the right time to change up the mood from older generation-friendly music (Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder) and transition to songs that got our college friends to turn up. Highly recommend!
We booked Sareen last minute after our first DJ proved unreliable. Above all we wanted someone responsive - whom we could rely on to submit paperwork to the venue, work with us ...
on a playlist, etc.
Sareen fit the bill and more. He stayed on top of all the small details and because of that everything went off smoothly on the night of the event.
And he's also a talented DJ. We gave him a long and eclectic list of songs -- Russian, Spanish, Hip Hop, Jewish -- and he turned it all into a coherent set.
We strongly recommend--
Sareen was fantastic! He kept our guests grooving to his music for hours. He was also very responsive throughout the process and accommodating of our requests. Highly recommend him...
!
What a STAR! Sareen was the perfect pick for us. He was responsive, patient and helpful during planning and exceeded all expectations the night of our wedding. He read the crowd we...
ll - many guests commented on how good the music was. He's also a nice guy and was a total value add to our day. Highly recommend him.
Sareen was fantastic! We are so glad we had him at our wedding. He was so easy to work with leading up to the day. We had a few conversations to clear up the type of music we wante...
d then gave him way more music than we had time for. We also gave him a bunch of last minute music that we really wanted and he was very flexible. He was able to figure out exactly what we wanted and they type of music needed throughout the night. The party was so great and everybody commented on how fun the music and dancing were.
We are so glad we chose Sareen to DJ our wedding. He was incredibly responsive from the get-go and made planning things really easy. On the day of the wedding he was already set up...
by the time we got there. His music selection was absolutely perfect. He immediately got everybody up and dancing and having a blast. He knew exactly what song everyone wanted to hear next. We had multiple guests come up to us and say how great the music was. It was really clear that Sareen brought a lot of experience, from set up and arrival to song choice. Would highly highly recommend.
Sareen was fantastic!
He was professional, skilled an really knew how to make our wedding reception a fun party! He and I had a few phone conversations before hand so that he could...
get a feel for who we are and he really knocked it out of the park! My wife is Cambodian and he was able to source some Cambodian rock from the 60's for a little Cambodian music block. That really made the evening special.
He was so on point that, once the music stared, we had nothing to worry about, which is a HUGE relief on your wedding day.
We would highly recommend Sareen for your wedding, or any event that needs a skilled, thoughtful and professional DJ.
Sareen DJed both our wedding and after party and was on his feet for 8 hours. We requested some odd (undanceable?) songs and he seamlessly blended them in keeping everyone moving...
. Would recommend,
Choosing a DJ for our wedding was one of the hardest decisions my now-husband and I had to make during the wedding planning process. We LOVE music and wanted to find someone who wo...
uld take our musical taste and run with it at our wedding. Sareen exceeded our expectations. After our first meeting, we knew he "got" us and he not only played everything we wanted to hear, but a few songs that we didn't even know we wanted to hear! He's the real deal. He knows his stuff and he's talented at anticipating what will make an already VERY special day even better. He also was our MC and he crushed it there too. You would be lucky to have him DJ your wedding.
A few months before the wedding, I was introduced to Sareen through a mutual friend. We had a great meeting going over the theme, the people (we had a lot of Ecuadorians that love ...
to dance) and of course the playlist.
Fast forward to this past weekend and Sareen delivered a flawless performance. Not only that, but he handled all of the set up / equipment logistics with ease (our wedding was out on a beach on long island).
Back to the music - Sareen controlled the vibe of the dance floor and seamlessly transitioned through various genres including some salsa. His song selection for the encore was a touch of class and one that everyone is still talking about.
Sareen is incredibly friendly and will put your mind at ease. If you're looking for a DJ, do yourself a favor and hire him asap!!
Sareen was the best thing we did for our wedding. He was super responsive, upbeat and generally awesome! He kept everyone dancing all night long and knew exactly what songs to play...
at the right moment. He is a kind person with tons of talent--HIRE HIM! It will be the best thing you do for your wedding.
We hired Sareen to DJ our wedding last-minute. We came to him in a flurry of emotions, thinking we had what it took to self-DJ our entire wedding but then got really nervous about ...
it about a month out. We reached out to him as a hail mary and he was incredibly responsive, down-to-earth, and willing to help however he could. We had a great chat about what we were looking for, and shared a lot of music influences (what a relief!). He has great taste in music, and took our existing playlists and made them even better to match the vibe we were going for. The day of our wedding, he arrived early and got the crowd going. He was a great pick, and we're lucky we found him!
Sareen was awesome! At our first meeting we talked about me and my partner's general taste in music and Sareen was very attentive to our tastes and selections. We created a spoti...
fy playlist which Sareen was able to mix and add songs to the mix that easily complemented the songs we selected. He was a pleasure to work with! He made sure that the venue was properly equipped before the day of the wedding by doing a walk through. He was very professional and very responsive. I would certainly book Sareen for another party.
Our wedding was fabulous! Sareen was a gentleman from start to finish. He knew how to read the room to get the party started. He made himself available early on for phone chats as ...
we planned the program, and he was able to make ajustments when it got closer to the big event. I highly recommend Sareen for your special day, especially if you're looking for a down to earth and classy DJ that knows a thing or two about music.
Sareen was an excellent and attentive DJ, stepping in as emcee when needed and getting the music right on point. Throughout both the dinner and dancing portions of the evening, he ...
incorporated our musical tastes and shuffled through different genres smoothly and flexibly. From folk, to R&B, to cheesy 90s pop hits ,to bhangra - he did an exceptional job of covering our wishlists, accommodating the shifting schedule, managing sound for various speeches and performances, and adding his own creative flair throughout. In the lead up to the wedding and all throughout the night, he was an absolute professional and pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend him! Thanks for helping making the night so special, Sareen. :)

hat we wanted and set the perfect vibe all night long, from chill tunes to bumpin' dance party! He is relaxed (which is much appreciated when you're dealing with the stress of wedding planning), but he is also super reliable, responsive and professional. He's also reasonably priced, no brainer here, hire this guy!
On very short notice, Sareen was able to step in and do an amazing job DJing my Bollywood party on New Year's Eve. I felt bad turning the lights on at the end of the night, as peop...

This guy is amazing! From our first call with him, he came across as so genuine and easy going. His deep knowledge and passion for music was obvious in that he completely nailed ...
the vibe we were going for with the music and kept it cool and classy the whole time. His musical scope is wide and very current (but not in a top 50 pop way). It doesnt hurt that he is also genuinely a good guy. Highly recommend Sareen!
Sareen was the perfect DJ for our special day, from initial contact to the end of the party. We could not have asked for a more amazing collaboration to make our day special. He wo...
rked with us before the wedding to make sure our entire reception was mapped out, he showed up on time and got everything ready to rock, and everything went off without issue.
But the real magic happened on the dance floor. Sareen was able to create the perfect mix that had the dance floor bumping during a Sunday brunch wedding, which we were worried no DJ could accomplish! His knowledge of music is amazing and he seemed to always have the perfect song for the perfect moment.
We feel so lucky and honored that Sareen was able to DJ our wedding.
Sareen is the life of the party and will bring that energy and spirit to your wedding too! Easy to work with, incredibly musically well versed, and above all flexible and patient...
. I'm from Houston so I wanted some very specific Southern Hip Hop while my fiancee is much more of an Indie Pop kind of guy. Sareen was able to accommodate both of our preferences in a way that was seamless and fun. If you want a DJ who will go the extra mile and is a dream to work with pick Sareen.
