DJ & MUSICIAN Pete Goslow

ng. It was also very nice that he is both a DJ and a talented classical guitarist. His flexibility allowed us to have a mix of serious acoustic guitar pieces, acoustic pop, and DJ'd songs for our dances at the end. He was wonderful to work with and well worth a consideration.

anniversary dinner for dear friends, we wanted the evening to be special, so we opted to include live music. Pete Goslow was our first and ONLY choice. We knew he would add so much and boy did he. From our initial conversation through a detailed planning process through the evening itself, everything was so complete, smooth, and professional.  We knew it was going to be a smash. And it was.  Pete provided a fantastic selection of ambient music with vocals from the cocktail hour through dinner and beyond. He pulled from music over the last 50 years so our guests were thrilled to have music from their earlier days. It was often heard - "I love this song. I have not heard it in forever."  The highlight of the evening? A suprise laser show that Pete accompanied with a phenomenal, flawless rendition of "Fly Me to the Moon". It was so incredible some guests were moved to tears. We could not have asked for anything better.  If you are looking for a musician who can do it all, in any style, with professionalism work with Pete. He will make your event more than memorable. He's a joy to work with from start to finish. We might even create an event just to have him be a part of!  --Unfortunately I don't have any decent pics of the event. If I can track some down and edit my review, I will add them.

call with him was incredibly thorough. He walked through the entire timeline with us, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure he understood even the small details about how we wanted the night to flow. After that conversation we felt completely confident everything would run smoothly. One of the things that sets Pete apart is that he offers both DJ services and live acoustic guitar. We had him play guitar during our ceremony and cocktail hour at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, and it added such an elegant touch to the evening. His playing created a beautiful atmosphere and made those parts of the day feel really special. As the DJ for the reception, Pete was fantastic. He kept the night moving on schedule and worked seamlessly with the venue and the other vendors. Most importantly, he understood the exact vibe we wanted for the music. The dance floor was packed all night and our guests had an amazing time. Everything went exactly according to plan and there were no mistakes or surprises. We were 100 percent satisfied with his work and could not have asked for a better DJ and musician. We highly recommend Pete to anyone looking for someone who is professional, talented, and truly dedicated to making your wedding day perfect.

to talk through. Day of, he exceeded our expectations with his Dj and MC skills as well as when he played guitar at our cocktail hour. We highly recommend using Pete for your special day!

I've produced myself, and he was able to mix it into the DJ set without issues. Towards the end when all the young people were there, he was able to turn the dance floor into a nightclub, which was pretty awesome. During the processional, his live music was also pretty excellent as well. If I were to get married again (let's hope not), I would definitely hire Pete again.

e was awesome to work with, and he created the perfect vibe for our wedding! Our guests were so complimentary of Pete too. We are so grateful he was part of our day & we would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a Musician, DJ and Emcee! Pete, thank you again for sharing your amazing talent with us!!

most special moment of my life.

ps to make sure everything was on track. He helped us create a clear timeline for the day and worked seamlessly with our other vendors, which made everything run smoothly. On the big day, Pete absolutely delivered. He played all the songs from our request list, read the room perfectly, and kept the energy exactly where we wanted it. He was also a fantastic MC — engaging without ever overstepping or making it about him. He struck the perfect balance of professionalism and fun. If you're looking for a DJ who’s organized, easy to work with, and truly cares about making your day special, Pete is your guy. We couldn’t be happier!

music during the ceremony and a playlist inspired by our favorite songs during the reception, and on the day of everything went incredibly smoothly. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat!

track. He played live for our cocktail hour outdoors, even helped soundcheck for our family members giving live performances for first dances, and then kept the dance floor alive with his DJ set. He is familiar with Botanica and Trademark venues, which made our planning easy! Thank you so much Pete! -Leah and Billy

te was able to blend the sound of a very old acoustic guitar and digital sound track together beautifully! He played guitar and sung during our cocktail hour and DJ’ed the reception. It was a wonderful experience working with him and he made the process easy on us!

ing to partner with in this regard. He allowed us to preselect songs we wanted (and which songs we didn’t want) to be played at certain points in the night. He really created an amazing atmosphere with them. When it came to the dance floor we trusted him and he didn’t let us down. We had an absolute blast. He also played his signature classical guitar during our ceremony and it was beautiful. His guitar playing alone is 10 out of 10. Add the djing and how easy he is to work with and you’ve got the total package to soundtrack the best day of your life. Thanks Pete!

lay guitar during the ceremony which I absolutely loved. He's so much more than just a DJ!

d all night long. At one point, I went over to Pete and asked him not to play any slow songs because we were all having too much fun dancing, and he seamlessly worked with my preferences/requests. My husband and I loved Pete from our first phone call; his chill vibe made me feel relaxed and calm throughout the entire process. He also plays amazing live music and sings, which we wanted for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We spoke to many different DJs, and Pete was an easy choice. The planning process was very smooth and his system for selecting songs was clear and helpful (it gave top wedding song ideas which was nice). He also gave us ideas for ceremony songs/first dace songs because we were not very confident in this area, and they turned out to be perfect. It's clear he knows what he is doing and is highly experienced, because he even gave small suggestions such as "I would suggest having me play guitar during the sand ceremony so it is not awkwardly silent" which turned out to be spot on. Pete also allowed my brother- and father-in-law to perform a special song, and provided a guitar and microphone for them, as well as a sound check earlier in the day. His sound system is top-notch, and our ceremony video turned out great thanks to his microphone/speaker system. He is willing to work with whatever you want to make your wedding dreams come true. Pete is also a great emcee; he speaks just enough to get the crowd going and pump the energy up, but does not over-talk or take over the room. He got EVERYONE on the dance floor. Best day/night ever! Best dj/musician/emcee ever! Thank you Pete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as far as timing went. He is the BEST and not to mention, SO TALENTED!

ice of one. From the beginning, it felt like we were in good hands. He is super fun to talk to and has some great stories to share - plus, he clearly knows what he's doing. My husband and I got married at Tivoli Italian Villa in SD, a place Pete had a lot of experience with. When going over timelines and song requests, Pete gave his professional opinion when helpful, but was respectful of our tastes and catered to exactly what we wanted. We started with instrumental music during the ceremony and cocktail hour, then switched over to DJing for the reception. We had some special requests: some traditional Jewish elements like dancing the Hora; PLUS, some less than traditional elements... a full-on metal-style mosh pit. Pete accommodated these requests with ease. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. He makes sure it all runs smoothly and brings the part so you can focus on the important stuff - getting married!

0/10!

h my cousin while I walked down the aisle! I promise you won’t regret choosing him for your wedding!

s willing to listen to her and figure out the best selections. He was more detail oriented than me and really helped me think more deeply about the wedding and even gave some good advice. He played the guitar beautifully at the ceremony and kept people dancing all night long !! He is very talented and definitely has a ton of experience. We are lucky our venue recommended him!

to get married at one of Trademark's beautiful wedding venues, Twin Oaks Wedding Venue in San Marcos, CA. Bob and I were planning more of a non-traditional wedding and were looking for acoustic vibes with strong vocals, along with someone who had tremendous experience and who could help us bring to life our vision. When we heard the amazing things about Pete, we knew we had to book him. He ended up being the first vendor we officially booked. When first reaching out to Pete, he was super friendly and very informative, which made us feel relaxed and excited! After filling out a service survey, looking over pricing, and seeing if our date was available, he sent us a very detailed contract, outlining everything in a super clear manner. We were given access to a his website (WHICH HAS TONS OF HIS MUSIC SAMPLES) where we could select our music and make playlists. Then, we were able to make our custom timeline together and schedule an informational phone meeting where we went over all our questions, our timeline, our song ideas, and every other little detail. Leading up to our wedding day, we had ZERO worries which was AMAZING. On the wedding day, Pete played some live music, along with playing music from our playlist in a DJ setting. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Everyone commented on what an outstanding musician/DJ/emcee he was. HE is also so professional and just the nicest guy ever! He was also such a fun emcee to have. He even included his own unique idea by asking our parents a special question in front of everyone at the reception. SO SWEET. He also was able to SECRETLY sneak in a special 50th anniversary dance for my parents and an extra father-daughter dance (for my husband's sister who got married during covid). EVERYTHING went EXACTLY as planned... flawlessly, which really made Bob and I grateful and everyone had a blast thanks to Pete’s awesome music. He also provided lighting, speakers, and microphones, which was super cool. We really didn’t have to worry about a thing because we knew we were in good hands with Pete! If you have any confusion or hiring a musician seems overwhelming to you, choosing to hire Pete will take ALL those worries away because he really has everything SO well thought out and he is MUCH more than just a musician. He is the total package!!!!! As long as you know your vibe, your music, and how you envision your timeline, he puts everything else in place. We will always be grateful that we chose Pete Goslow!

le DJ, Pete Goslow. From our initial contact, Pete's attention to detail and genuine warmth reassured us that we were in good hands. He seamlessly guided us through the planning process, ensuring every moment flowed flawlessly. Pete's live music during cocktail hour set the perfect vibe, and his expert timing during our entrance created a truly magical moment. The acoustic cocktail hour, highlighted by Pete's remarkable vocal talent, was a unique and memorable touch that left our guests in awe. Pete wasn't just an amazing DJ; he was an integral part of making our day perfect. We wholeheartedly recommend him to any couple looking to elevate their wedding day to something truly extraordinary. Thank you, Pete Goslow, for helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives. Gratefully, Lauren and Carter

w my husband and I to understand our musical preferences and curate the right vibe. He set the tone perfectly for our wedding, and all of our guests were so impressed -- from his guitar playing to DJ skills. We received so many compliments from our guests afterward. Thank you, Pete, for making our big day so perfect!

also came highly recommended by our wedding planner, so we decided to set up a meeting early in our planning process (July ‘21). I can confidently say, Pete was one of the best parts of our day and I can’t recommend him enough. From our first initial planning meeting, it was clear he was a true professional, in that he was able to give us many helpful tips and suggestions from his experience, but he also was accommodating to our specific requests. He checked in with us often and we were able to develop a solid plan early on, which was helpful to our overall planning timeline. The form we used for song requests was easy to use, and we were able to create two playlists (dinner/dancing), as well as choose any songs we did not want played. He also worked very well with our coordinator in creating seamless transitions between events that made our day run very smoothly. One of the biggest highlights of the day however, was our first dance; Pete sang and played a beautiful rendition of “I’ll Have To Say I Love You In A Song.” It was amazing, and truly made our day. After the dances/dinner, Pete really brought a great energy to the dance floor and kept everyone out there dancing until the night ended. All of our guests raved about how much the dance floor rocked, and still talk about how much fun they had. Meaningful music and a fun, high energy dance floor experience was something that was really important to us, and Pete truly delivered that. To top it all off, we found out after the fact that Pete generously gave a ride to two of our guests who were unable to catch an Uber. Truly can’t thank him enough for the entire experience!

referred vendor list. I always wanted to have a DJ who could not only DJ but also play an instrument. My dream was to have both a DJ and a band but we quickly learned that was not in our budget. However, when we came across Pete, we were ecstatic to learn that he played guitar! It was like a dream come true. He could DJ for the reception and play beautiful covers (and his own music!) during our cocktail hour and pre-seating. After having a brief initial conversation with him, we knew we just had to reserve Pete for our wedding. It was a no brainer! Throughout the entire process, he was so helpful and attentive. He was quick to reach with questions, and would always make sure that if he couldn't give us a complete answer right then and there that he at least would text us and say "hey, I got your message, when I have more of a minute I will make sure to get you those answers," which was so nice of him to do. When it came to our meetings with him, he was so well experienced in the industry that it was like he knew all the answers to our questions. Any concerns or questions we had, he had the answer and if he didn't have an answer, he certainly would find us a solution. For my wedding processional walk, I had a very specific way I wanted to do it, with pauses in the song lining up with pauses my dad and I would take so that when we arrived at the top of the aisle, my husband would turn around and we would have our first look. Pete helped us track it by foot and gave us an edited version of the song as well so it all lined up perfectly. It was such a beautiful moment, I can't wait to see how it turned out on video! Throughout the wedding planning, my mom and I decided we wanted to do a mother/daughter mash up dance because we felt it was important for my mom to have a moment with me since historically the mom doesn't walk the daughter down the aisle or have a dance with them. When we came to Pete with our idea, he was so supportive. He not only helped curate the mash up with all the songs we wanted to incorporate, but he also helped make it a production the day of! Instead of just making the mash up have a scratch and then us begin dancing, he made it seem like something was actually wrong by saying "oh no I'm so sorry guys I think something happened, hold on, I'm so sorry," so that we had time to get into our positions. Our friends and family were SO surprised!! That little last second choice Pete decided to do on the spot was what totally sealed the deal and make it such a memorable moment. Overall, if you are trying to find a DJ who: can play a musical instrument, has a charming personality, is attentive, supportive, and experienced, then you don't need to look any further. Pete is 100% your guy for the job. I promise you won't regret choosing Pete to help DJ/MC your event whether it's for a wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc. He's the overall best and we loved having him!

g that was SO important for my husband. Pete delivered. He not only played beautiful music on his guitar as guests were sitting down for the ceremony and cocktail hour, but he personally made sure that the music he played when my husband and I walked down the aisle was exactly what we wanted. At cocktail hour he did an amazing job of blending my style of music (lots of Jimmy Buffett) with my husband's choice of music (a smoother more 'adult alternative'). So many of our guests also loved the live music atmosphere! - Timeline: Pete worked so well with all my vendors to make sure that our timeline was kept to. In addition, he advocated for my wants at the wedding day of when one of our vendors tried to move things around, I was lucky he was there as a voice for me. Pete also played a big role in making sure the timeline was stuck to, which was a lifesaver for me! - Names: I have been to a lot of weddings where the names of people get mispronounced, but Pete made sure to double-check all names with us ahead of time. - Set Up/Clean Up: Pete made things so easy - he comes with all his own gear. I didn't have to worry about an umbrella for him, he had one. Extension cords? Pete had it. He's been in the business a long time and it really shows. The Mic set up for our beach ceremony worked out so well, there wasn't any wind noise or anything coming through the mic.  -Meetings: Having solid meetings with Pete 3-4 months out and a few weeks out was great. We felt like we already knew him when he arrived at the venue. I was comfortable talking with him and asking for requests, he was so accommodating in what we needed! - Above and beyond: We had our hearts set on a song for a first dance. Our dance instructor insisted that we did not use that particular song because it just didn't work. We reached out to Pete to see if he could cut it to make it work, and he did! We were able to dance to one of our favorite songs due to Pete's talent.  We absolutely loved working with Pete and if we ever did it again, we would hire Pete again!

y. Pete wasn't just a DJ; he was a crucial part of our planning process. He educated us about the wedding timeline, helped us create a cohesive plan, and highlighted details we hadn't even considered. His guidance was invaluable and made our wedding day flow seamlessly. His ability to curate a playlist that resonated with our taste but also kept all our guests entertained was remarkable. As an MC, he was engaging and kept the event moving smoothly. What made Pete stand out was not just his musical expertise but his personal touch and genuine care for our event, creating a unique and memorable experience. We cannot recommend Pete Goslow highly enough!

t we wanted, he offered excellent suggestions that helped us make our final decisions. I especially loved how he walked us through our selections for the day. Of all the vendors, including event coordination, Pete is the one who truly helped me envision how the day would proceed. It would be difficult to find a musician/DJ/MC to rival Pete's talent & professionalism. Thank you for making our special day absolutely perfect!!

narrow down my music choices. I’ve always loved music, so it was challenging for me to make final decisions. More importantly I loved that he offers a combination of live music and DJing. It really helped complete the vibe. Pete is incredibly organized, communicative, he offers great perspective. He’s got a calm energy, which is much appreciated if you’re a stressed out bride like I was 😂 thank you Pete for helping make our night so magical!! Don’t think twice, this is the guy you want for your wedding.

eally took the time to understand our music taste and exceeded our expectations. Myself and our guest were on the dance floor all night and that's because Pete does such a great job of reading the room. Thank you again Pete!

s Band as the grooms’ walk and it was so perfect. We had him sing and play guitar during cocktail hour and everyone loved it! They thought it was actually a soundtrack! We chose a select few songs, and then just asked Pete to go with it. We liked mostly country but also understand some guests want different songs, and he was so accommodating and balanced everything perfectly. Pete made all the steps leading up to our wedding so easy and was very responsive. The day of our wedding, I did not have to worry about anything at all. He set up and just hit the ground running. Pete is so talented in his DJ skills as well as his singing and guitar playing. Highly recommend Pete for any wedding or event- you will have the best experience!

was above and beyond on the day of! His acoustic sets during cocktail hour were complimented by many. He was able to read the room to keep the dance floor full and fun! Pete was one of our favorite vendors that weekend!

dding from another state can be challenging but we were able to rely on him from the start. He was always a phone call, text, or email away with any questions or concerns that we might have had. Having the right music is an important part of any event, especially your own wedding and Peter did not disappoint! We started planning the set list a couple months before the wedding and had several meetings leading up to the big day. He did an amazing job of balancing playing the songs we chose as well as reading the crowd of around 30 and incorporating different selections. Peter is an extremely talented and versatile musician and guitarist as well as DJ which was a huge plus! He played acoustic during the guests arrival and also during parts of the ceremony. Overall, we could not have been more pleased with the job that he did and would highly recommend him to anyone! We are so happy we chose Peter as the DJ for our wedding and also that he agreed to play for us. He is a great DJ as well as an amazing guy! Thank you Peter!

ave asked for better. Although this was obviously not his first rodeo, it was ours and Pete's commitment to excellence made those portions of our wedding unforgettable. Don't hesitate to hire him! Thank you, Pete!

and cocktail hour but switch over to the DJ vibe at reception. Pete does both and it was perfect. He’s a wonderful musician. He took great care and time going through our timeline and music selection. I was pretty particular and asked for some specific versions of songs and he executed with perfection. Pete is friendly, communicative, easy going and so knowledgeable in the wedding industry. I didn’t have to stress about our music/sound one bit, which every bride needs a little less to worry about! I highly recommend Pete!

to make sure our wedding happened exactly how we wanted it to. We really wanted live music mixed with our favorite songs and Pete was so accommodating and talented that he learned new songs for our ceremony. We highly recommend Pete for anyone’s wedding!

perfect musical arrangement for our big day. Highly recommend!

now us and the kind of music we wanted for our wedding. We also worked together to create a script and a play by play of the day, so we knew exactly what was going to happen and when. As a bride and groom trying to plan so many things, this was so helpful to have this planned so thoroughly. He also played his guitar during our cocktail hour and we got so many rave reviews from friends and family of how nice it was to have live guitar music. It added to the romantic setting of the venue! As a DJ, he was just as great. We had a full dance floor the entire night, and as the bride and groom, we had a blast on the dance floor. Thank you Pete for being so easy to work with and being such a great DJ/musician. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day.

process. Pete was able to create a beautiful atmosphere for the ceremony and cocktail hour with live classical guitar which truly elevated the experience. My husband and I were so happy with how everything came together. Pete was also amazing at DJ’ing our reception - he definitely knows how to keep people dancing throughout the night. We got so many compliments on the music and the energy on the dance floor, all thanks to Pete! He was such a pleasure to work with and we cannot recommend him enough!!

for us and made sure we understood everything. He was very professional and did such an amazing job on our wedding day. I wanted to make sure the music pleased all my guests as that was the biggest complaint from my family at other weddings was the music so I wanted to make sure our music was spot on. We got to choose all of our songs and even got to choose songs that weren't in his library and he was totally okay with it. We made it the perfect musical wedding we desired. Pete is someone I'd hire again and recommend. Tons of positive reviews from my family.

him again.

ive for our ceremony and then use a great mix of songs for our reception that kept everyone dancing all night long! It was perfect!
