Every photo he took makes us look very natural and that is exactly the style we wanted. TLDR; If you are looking for a photographer that will listen, take initiative, and give you a photo set that is very natural looking, then this is the photographer for you.

t shoot/portrait session we met with him on a Sunday evening along Hwy 20. He was very accommodating in availability and helped us pick out good spots along the way. As someone who is more happy behind a camera than in front of it, I appreciated that Brandon put us at ease and comfortably directed us into different poses. We were laughing the whole time and felt so great afterwards. And the photos! Absolutely STUNNING! After the ceremony he and the bride and groom took off to a private location where he shot the most riveting photos of them basking in the glow of “just married”. We had an evening wedding and by the next day, he sent sneak previews of the photos while our family was still visiting and we were able to immediately relive the very best of the wedding day, that was so unexpected and so much fun. The quality of Lovejoy photography is impeccable, it is hard to choose what we should have printed because they are all so beautiful. Brandon seemed to be very tuned into the vision of the bride and groom for their day. He captured the obvious but even better than that, he had an eye for the tiniest detail that all together made the wedding day, the once in a life time special day. He was easy to work with on the day and made us (not so photogenic people!) really relax and shine in our pictures! He has a focus on detail and saturation, which makes for such beautifully artistic images. We are so happy to have these beautiful photos to remember our perfect day.

mber that the photographer is only one piece of what makes good images. There were décor and styling issues that I wish I could have fixed. And I was shocked by how quickly the time went! We had him for 6 hours but it went by in the blink of an eye! Decide on your poses/activities beforehand! To guarantee those fairy tale pics, I think you need to do the "first look" to allow for more time (although I don't regret my choice to not do that). Overall, Brandon was a pleasure to work with and he did a great job given the circumstances. Stylistically, he used cooler tones than I would've liked, but that is just a matter of personal taste. I got many wonderful images from him.
