Love Mariah, Jackie, and Addie! They did an amazing job with my bridal hair and make up as well with my bridesmaids, MIL, and MOB. They also went above and beyond by putting florals I purchased in my hair as well. They helped with the nerves and even were very supportive during all the stress. We are still waiting on our wedding photos so I will post that as soon as I receive them. Their services were excellent. I would highly recommend them. They are dependable and professional. We booked a makeup and hair trial and they worked tiressly both during and after the trial to get the exact look I was going for. I did use them for an Indian wedding and they were able to seemlessly transition between styles without any issues. They were affordable and were flexible the day of my wedding. They were able to incorporate all my bridesmaids and mother and mother-in-law. One bridesmaid mentioned that as they were leaving, they noticed she needed a little extra on the way out and they spent extra time with her to make sure she looked perfect. I highly recommend them.

Alanna and Laura from Betty Rose made all of us look stunning for my daughter's wedding. They traveled to Santa Fe. They arrived on time, set up quickly and went to work. The compliments from all of our guest is the testimony to how these two ladies turned us into beautiful women that day. The bride was a picture perfect princess from her hair to her makeup. Laura followed each of our own pictures we had chosen for our hair. She made each one of us look exactly like we had wanted. Alanna was a master. Our makeup was fresh, natural and made us all look stunning. If you are planning your wedding I would highly recommend using Betty Rose! I wish I lived in Albuquerque. I would be a regular at her shop.

As a wedding photography team, we've had the pleasure of working with numerous professionals in the industry, and Jackie from Betty Rose is undoubtedly one of the standouts. Collaborating with her on Sara's wedding day was an absolute delight. From the moment Jackie started, it was clear that she was a master of her craft. Her deep knowledge of hair and makeup techniques was evident in the stunning look she created for Sara. It wasn't just about making Sara look beautiful, but also capturing her personality and ensuring it suited the overall aesthetic of the wedding day. Her attention to detail was second to none - every strand of hair was perfectly in place, and the makeup was flawless. What we, as photographers, particularly appreciated about Jackie's work was how well it translated on camera. The makeup was not only beautiful in person, but it also photographed incredibly well. It was evident that Jackie understood how different factors, like lighting, could affect how makeup appears in photos. She expertly adjusted her application techniques to take this into account. I truly cannot give higher praises to Alana and her team. I have never felt more comfortable or confident in individuals to help me on my wedding day. Alana was the kindest and most supportive human, and she made sure that everything went according to plan before during and after. Alana even brought in another make up artist for me and my gals the day of my wedding. Savannah who did my spray tan was beyond amazing, and she helped me pick the exact color tone, when to get my tan and how to care for my spray tan so that I looked AMAZING. I got tons of compliments on my tan color. Claudia who did my hair also set up two separate meetings so that she could perfect my hair for the big day and it turned out literally amazing. Alana made me laugh when I thought I was going to start crying and made me and all my bridesmaids feel so comfortable. I could not recommend Betty Rose enough, you will not regret using them for your wedding day. LOVE YOU GALS!

Alanna, Jackie, and Savannah did the entire bridal party’s hair and make-up. They were so professional, arriving on time and ready to go! Everyone looked absolutely stunning, and they all felt like a million bucks! I had different bridesmaids express concern that they were worried to do professional hair and makeup in case they didn’t like it, worried they look so different than their normal, but everyone loved how it turned out. I felt like the most beautiful bride! Leading up to the big day, Alanna and Jackie were so sweet, allowing me to do multiple hair trials. Alanna was even SOOO sweet to do my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot. They helped make our photos even more picture perfect with their amazing talent!

Alanna and Jackie did the hair and make-up for myself, my mother, and my MIL for my wedding. I met with the two of them for a trial a couple of months beforehand and felt instantly relaxed - they were all smiles, very friendly, and had great energy! I almost never wear make-up and explained that I wanted a really natural look, which Alanna nailed perfectly. I showed Jackie a picture of the up-do I was looking for, and she did a great job as well (and was also very patient with my requests!). They really encouraged me to give feedback and to not worry about hurting their feelings. It was VERY windy on my wedding day, and I want to give Jackie credit for how well my hair held up during our outdoor ceremony! Before they left, Alanna gave me a cute little bag of all of the essentials that I would need for touch-ups, which was very sweet. My make-up held up perfectly and I really didn't need it, but I thought it was a really nice touch. I couldn't recommend the two of them more. They are not only fun to work with, but they really listen to your vision and are passionate about making it happen.

Alanna was OUTSTANDING. Her communication prior to my wedding was prompt, professional, and kind. My bridesmaids told me they'd never felt prettier! (A few event said Betty Rose did a better job on them for my wedding than their own hair/makeup teams did for their weddings!) I can't recommend Betty Rose enough. Choosing them will be your best decision ever and you'll feel your absolute best. My makeup and hair stayed ALL NIGHT without looking the slightest bit cakey. Best decision EVER!! <3

I have been in contact with Alanna Ferre through messages for awhile and she provided me with very detailed information on services and even how a timeline might look if they were booked. Unfortunately I had to take a little break from wedding planning and in that time she was book. BUT she was SO SWEET and generous to provide me with referrals and all their information! Unusually it's a too bad so sad deal, but for her to still try and help say so much about her business! So if you are lucky enough to book with Betty Rose, you are in the BEST of hands!

Got married in July and they were so accommodating and flexible! Last minute changes they were stress free with! And they were quick ! Bettyrose by Alanna is the perfect choice for your wedding makeup! The staff are so genuinely kind, beyond talented, and they are so excited to help celebrate you on the best day of your life. I was lucky enough to have Ashley do my makeup trial for my engagement shoot. I highly recommend lining up your makeup trial and engagement shoot together. You will be all glammed up for your engagement session and get an idea of how your makeup will photograph on your wedding day. Ashley also did the wedding makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and our mothers. She listened and understood what each women needed in terms of makeup. She made all of us feel so beautiful inside and out. The makeup lasted all day through rain and tears, but she left us with an emergency makeup kit just in case. I highly recommend these amazing ladies!

Alanna provided make-up for myself, my sister and mom, and my mother and sister in-law in 2020 for our small ceremony, and although we weren't able to do a trial, she comes so highly recommended that I knew everything would be great! She was also gracious enough to apply our deposit towards our 2021 wedding celebration and did my makeup, all of my bridesmaids and my mom's makeup for our 2021 wedding celebration. I couldn't have been happier with the results both years, and I know everyone else was extremely satisfied with their makeup as well. She has an excellent eye for color and is able to bring out everyone's best features while also listening respectfully to any requests. She approaches the getting-ready time of the day with a calm, collected stress-free attitude and has everyone leave her makeup chair feeling relaxed and beautiful. Each year, she was on time and finished ahead of schedule, and works hard ahead of time to make sure there will be enough time for everyone getting their makeup done. I would highly recommend her – she’s worth every penny! Thank you for everything Alanna!

Alanna and her team are the absolute BEST! I cannot say enough great things about her. For starters, through COVID reschedules, and general wedding day craziness, she was 100% organized and responsive all of the time. From invoices, check-ins after trials, last minute changes, and check-ins before the big day, she was on top of it all. Even though I'm sure she's juggling dozens of brides at a time, she made it seem so effortless and like you were the only one. On top of that, she is literally one of the sweetest, most friendly people I have ever met. I was embarrassed to admit how much of a germaphobe I am, and that I didn't want any lip products other than my own, and she made me feel like it was no big deal, even though I felt like I was being a pain. For anyone worried about COVID, she is your girl! She is always so cautious about masks and sanitizing things, which I so appreciated. And it goes without saying, but her actual work is gorgeous! She somehow made my round chubby-cheeked face look like I had cheekbones?? haha. Absolute magic. She makes you feel 100% comfortable if you want something changed. I felt so so beautiful on my wedding day. The only thing I would change, is getting the full day package, if nothing else than to have her wonderful sweet energy around. Although I never got to visit with her, Ashley did the makeup on all my other special ladies, and they all looked gorgeous! She had the sweetest, most calm demeanor. Thank you Alanna and Ashley for making us all feel so beautiful! Even in that hectic tiny room!

From the moment I sat down in the chair for my trial to the end of the night when my makeup was STILL BOMB, Alanna & Co. are THE choice for hair and makeup in Albuquerque. She and her team are fun, confident, amazing hair and makeup artists who made both me and my girls feel absolutely beautiful on my big day. They matched my hair and makeup exactly to my inspiration pictures, and made any corrections after my trial so that the wedding day it would come out flawless. It did! This is long overdue (got married in October 2019), but wanted to write a review because Alanna was so amazing. She was so easy to work with from start to finish - super responsive and flexible throughout the entire process - and she was so considerate and professional. I had a large wedding party, so her team joined and they are amazing as well. They made everyone feel and look beautiful, even my 60-year-old mom! Would highly recommend working with her - she listens to your needs and wants and made me feel so beautiful on the most important day of my life! Alanna was a DREAM to work with and is truly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She was so communicative throughout the planning process and rolled with the punches when we had to make changes to our wedding plans. Alanna has always been my go-to for all my professional makeup needs, because not only is she incredibly talented, but she is one the most wonderful, and genuine people I’ve ever met. When I was planning my wedding, my husband told me who his non-negotiable wedding photographer was, and I knew immediately that my non-negotiable for our wedding was to have Alanna apply my wedding day makeup. We were married in CA, where my husband’s family lives, and we also had two ceremonies, one Vietnamese and one American. So, I needed two different looks for the day and Alanna perfected each look for me. The first look was more natural, and the second was a more dramatic, smoke eye...and every time I look back through my wedding photos I am so thankful for her dedication, and skill in applying both looks so flawlessly. There were so many unknowns and planning a multi-cultural wedding was definitely complicated at times, but knowing Alanna was going to be there to do my makeup, gave me immense peace of mind. If you need your makeup for your wedding, engagement photos, or any other special event, please do yourself a favor and hire Alanna. I promise you will be thrilled with your experience.

Alanna and the entire BettyRose Team are absolutely amazing! I have had the pleasure of getting my makeup done by Alanna and several of her artists in the past when being apart of a bridal party for friends and family. The professionalism, talent and friendliness that comes with their services are truly unmatched. Alanna brightens up the room and brings such a positive, calming vibe in the midst of the craziness that often comes along during the getting ready wedding day craze. Not to mention, she and her team will make you feel like your best self! My personal wedding was originally planned for September 19, 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID19, the decision to postpone my wedding until 2021 was made 3 months prior to my wedding date. Alanna handled my sadden and somewhat panicky self so graciously and worked with me to reschedule for the 2021 date. Her promptness and communication was so appreciated. I cannot wait for myself and my bridal party to have our makeup done by BettyRose next year! Hands down, the best makeup artists in New Mexico!

I was very disappointed with my interactions with this business. I had requested to have my bridal parties makeup done and Alanna kindly did not charge me the initial deposit because COVID was still a recent occurrence at the time and no one could predict if weddings would be allowed to happen. As we have gotten closer to my wedding I offered to pay the deposit (over $400) but requested it be refundable in case we were forced to reschedule and someone from Alanna’s team was unavailable. She refused to make the deposit refundable and would not guarantee that someone could perform the services I would be paying for. Normally I could understand this, but I can’t understand why the deposit wouldn’t be refundable during a global pandemic....

I still needed a makeup artist for my wedding just 3 weeks before my day. Although Alanna is usually booked months and months out, I was lucky enough to book her on short notice because of so many postponed weddings this season. Alanna was so incredibly friendly and professional, and she knows her stuff! I had a fantastic trial with her where she spent nearly 2 hours perfecting my look for the big day. She encouraged and listened to notes and critiques to make sure I liked what I saw in the mirror...as she will tell you, nothing hurts her feelings! The day of she did makeup for my mom, two bridesmaids, and myself perfectly on schedule with time for touch-ups. She was entirely professional while still friendly, making the morning-of so light-hearted and fun. She even left the area she worked in spotless, which was so appreciated since we got ready in my parents' home. I cannot recommend Alanna enough and feel so lucky we got to have her for my big day!

She single handedly completed my bridal makeup, 5 bridesmaids, my mom, tackled a last minute lash emergency, completed everyones touch ups and stayed on perfect schedule. That is a lot of different women to please and everyone was IN LOVE with their look. Besides the fact that she is an amazing professional and her work is flawless, Alanna is a great presence to have on your wedding day. She is a wonderful human being and an absolute pleasure to work with. If she is available on your wedding day, BOOK HER!

Alanna was absolutely amazing! I only wear mascara on a day-to-day basis and she worked to ensure that my makeup felt light and was not uncomfortable. She matched my skin tone perfectly as well as my mom’s and sister’s, who was my MOH. On my wedding day, Alanna came to me and was so timely in getting all of our makeup done on time and with enough time after to do any touch ups if need be. She was so sweet and easy to talk to as well. Alanna did amazing and if I ever have a formal event again and I want to look my absolute best, I will be booking with her. I have never felt so confident and beautiful than I did on my wedding day, and that was because of Alanna.

Alanna was fantastic!! I got married in October 2018 and used her for my bridal makeup and for my bridesmaids. She made us all look so beautiful and my makeup lasted all day. Worth every penny and more. If I ever need makeup done for any reason in the future I will definitely be reaching out to her again. She is incredibly sweet and I don't think I could have found anyone better to make me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Also, from my husband he was scared that I would not look like myself (I don't wear a lot of makeup on a day-to-day basis), and he loved the makeup look she did on me because he said I still looked like me :).

Alanna was on time, adorable and amazing at what she does. She made sure that what was done at our practice run was what we wanted and really stuck with what we had talked about. She made sure we were ready on time and was very good about communicating through the whole process.

Alanna was perfect! She came to my hotel on the day of my wedding and was so sweet with my mom and aunt. Our make up was perfect and lasted all night long, I didn't want to wash it off lol!! Alanna was incredible!!!! I looked like the best version of myself and felt so comfortable in my skin from noon till midnight. I was worried about my skin in a dry climate since I live in humidity but Alanna helped me prepare and made me feel at ease. Of course there were changes in the schedule the day of but she was flexible while staying super organized. I felt so confident going into the day and my husband cried the secco day o started walking down the aisle.

I really don't have enough great things to say about Alanna and how professional she is and how she strives to make her business the best. There was a hiccup the day of my wedding (a complete freak accident and no one's fault) and I was just amazed at the lengths Alanna was willing to go to make sure things were right by me! You don't see that as often anymore with the owner of a business making sure her customers are 100% happy and satisfied. My makeup and all my girls' makeup turned out beautiful. The artists Alanna hires are incredible and I just couldn't be more pleased with how great Alanna is and how she runs her business! Thank you so much Alanna!!

I was a bride in 2015, Alanna made me feel beautiful and so special on my wedding day! Leading up to my wedding day she made sure I was happy with my trial, if not she wanted to know what I liked didn’t like and the end results made me feeling beautiful and my loved ones! BR did made my mom feel beautiful while still making her look like her! That’s all I could have asked for, especially on your special day! We loved her so much, my sister is now using her for her up coming wedding and we know she will make my sister feel and look beautiful!

Alanna was simply amazing!! I don't wear much makeup, so she worked with me to create a look that was gorgeous, without making me look like a stranger. I also don't do well with fake eye lashes, so she suggested applying individual lashes, and they were perfect. I didn't notice them the whole day, I was still comfortable instead of my eyes feeling heavy or like I'm constantly blinking away. I received so many compliments, as did my mother, and mother-in-law who also had their makeup done. Alanna is so sweet and friendly, and really made me feel so special on my wedding day. I wish I could afford to have her do my makeup every single day. If you want gorgeous makeup that lasts all night, even when you are sweating from dancing all night- she is your girl.

So amazing if I could give Alanna 10 Stars I would, she is such a sweet soul, and really just amazing overall! Her makeup application is amazing seriously you tell her what you want and she does it on point and so well! I 100% recommend getting your makeup done by her, and the price is absolutely amazing!!!
