I cannot recommend Jolie Artistry ENOUGH! Megan and her team are excellent and it was such a joy working with them. They listened to my feedback from our trial and made the changes I wanted for my "day of" look, and I could not have been happier with the results. I felt BEAUTIFUL & confident on my wedding day. What more could you want?! It was truly a blessing working with them.

I am so happy that I hired Jolie Artistry & Co for wedding hair/make-up for myself and my bridal party. As the bride, my hair and make-up team helped me make sure everything was perfect from my trial to my day-of, they made the perfect adjustments to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it and would last beautifully all night long (through many tears and a lot of dancing too). They also made my entire party feel beautiful and confident. They were so much fun to be around on the morning of my wedding and made us all feel so comfortable. They worked so effectively as a team, helping us stay ahead of schedule without feeling rushed. From the flower girls, to my moms, to my bridal party and me, we are all SO happy with how everything turned out. I would recommend them to any future bride!

My wedding day experience is the exact reason why you should hire a professional hair and makeup team for your wedding day – and I’m so glad I had the expertise of Jolie Artistry because they saved my day. On the morning of my wedding, I had an allergic reaction to a moisturizer I used to spot treat some areas of dryness on my face. I had dark red angry skin with raised welts in the areas I had applied the moisturizer– an absolute nightmare! Megan calmly came in to check on me (I was hiding out and trying keep it together), assessed the situation, provided guidance, and reworked the schedule for both my hair and makeup so that we could give my skin time to calm down and still get my large group ready on time. Megan was able to work a miracle and provide exceptional coverage that held not only through getting down the aisle, but all the way through the after-party, with no one having any idea about the allergic reaction! Beyond that, she absolutely nailed the more natural, timeless look I was seeking. I usually see pictures and am not thrilled with how I look, and after seeing our photos, I’m so happy with my whole look. I also have naturally thin hair and experienced a lot of hair loss leading up to the wedding. Chelsie was incredible at working with me to hit on my inspiration photos in a way that would work well with my hair type. She was able to get so much body out of my hair, and made it look full and elegant. Beyond my personal hair & makeup, my girls all loved the Jolie team. They were able to keep a cohesive look while still tailoring looks for each of my bridesmaids using colors/hairstyles that made them feel their best. I started with the actual beauty experience because I feel like that is the most important first consideration when seeking a beauty vendor, but the Jolie team nailed it beyond their hair & makeup skills. Jolie Artistry was one of the easiest to work with and most professional vendors on our vendor team. Megan’s communication was top notch from beginning to end, with recommendations and rationale at every step. My trial was seamless. On the wedding day, they arrived on time, kept us on schedule, and had recommended exactly the number of stylists and MUAs to get us ready on-time without feeling rushed. They also worked seamlessly with our photography team when it came to the getting-ready photos. Overall, they were professional, warm, gracious, calm, and super-talented! I’ve already started recommending Jolie Artistry to everyone who is planning a wedding.

Megan and Chelsie made me feel like the best version of myself. They were so patient with all my questions and I even cried at my trial because they did SO good! My hair and makeup probably could have lasted three days even with all the dancing! They made the morning fun and relaxing.

Jolie was recommended to me by our wedding planner because she knew I was looking for a hair and makeup team that was willing to travel to our venue for the entire bridal party. As someone who has never had their makeup professionally done before I had no idea what I was really looking for and wasn’t sure I could accurately describe what I needed. After our initial conversation all those worries went out the window. Megan made the whole process seamless and it was clear her team was so familiar with what they were doing I didn’t need to worry about a thing. When it came time for my trial I was absolutely blown away - I mean I literally could not stop taking selfies because I was obsessed. The team we had for the day was Christina and Britton and they made us all feel like a million bucks. They were so wonderful and made the best start to the wedding day. Britton was able to make magic happen with her updo skills and Christina had everyone in love and begging to know what was in her makeup bag because there was no logical reason for us to look and feel as good as we did after they were done. Seriously - we all tried to beg them to come live with us so we could feel this good everyday.

10/10 Megan is everything!!!!! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and knew I was in perfect hands with her doing my makeup. I couldn’t have been happier and she is seriously the sweetest and easiest person to talk to!! She also took such good care of my bridal party too. Everyone felt so pretty and that was really important to me. One of my bridesmaid put it best and said “these women are wizards.”

The team was amazing, very thoughtful, attentive, and made the whole experience feel extremely special. 10/10 would recommend!

Megan was my lead makeup artist and wow, I cannot say enough good things about the experience. I even changed my makeup inspiration after the trial and she was so nice about the change and worked with me to figure out what would be something I would love for the big day! Megan was so nice and personable and made getting ready so fun! She was able to look at my inspiration photo and magically make it work on me! Chelsie was lead hair stylist and my hair was stunning! I told her garden party theme and she styled something so perfect for the day! Shelby, makeup assistant, and Savannah, hair assistant, were also incredibly talented on their own! Overall, working with Jolie Artistry was delightful and would recommend them to anyone!

They'll create any look you want, expertly, and kindly! I had the BEST experience with this company. They were responsive to emails and very professional at every stage. Two things really set them apart from other H&MU artists First, while they are a full-service company, they provide a "hair" artist and a "makeup" artist for the event. At the end of the day, you're still getting two artists for you and your bridesmaids, but the end result is better because each one is a specialist in her area. Second, (perhaps due to their immense skill) Megan (Makeup) and Chelsie (Hair) were able to achieve what I consider the holy grail of wedding hair and makeup--each girl had a unique look that suited what she asked for (natural, glam, etc.) while still looking cohesive. You could actually see the time they took to tailor each look to each girl's taste. And of course they were very fun and professional to have in the getting ready suite!

Megan, Taylor and their Team are phenomenal! First off, they are so personable and were a joy to have as a part of my wedding day! The entire team are all so talented and know how to make a bride and her bridal party look and feel gorgeous! Megan did a wonderful job enhancing everyone's natural beauty using her most current, safe and up-to-date products. Taylor did an amazing job with hair. I was amazed at how she could look at a picture of a hair style and flawlessly recreate it. I get so many comments on how beautiful and natural looking both my hair and makeup were on the day of my wedding. I highly recommend Jolie Artistry!

I worked with Christina for my makeup and Chelsie for my hair, but also had Shelby and Britton come and help for my bridal party. Everyone's hair and makeup looked fabulous and even with a large party, we were ready on time! The girls were so much fun to talk to while getting ready! Great company with great employees!

Megan and Taylor, truly made my wedding day hair & makeup dreams become reality. Megan has a way of enhancing your natural beauty and making sure you still look like your true self, while making you feel like a superstar. The most impressive thing, is that at the end of the night 10 HOURS after my service, it looked brand new! Taylor has magic hands to say the least! I wanted me and my bridal party to have fun, funky braids, and she made it happen!! I hired Megan to travel to Knoxville and do makeup for myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding on 1/4/2020. Her extensive experience and portfolio speaks for itself, but I chose Megan because she was the MUA for one of my best friends' wedding in 2018. I was so impressed with her then that I knew I needed her on my special day as well! Megan was responsive, truly listened to what I wanted, and it felt like I had known her forever. She showed up on time (probably early) and was thorough yet incredibly efficient. She was at least 30 minutes AHEAD of schedule that morning! She had fun with us jamming out to music and eating snacks while we were getting ready -- she totally blended in to my friend group. If you want a laid-back, professional, and friendly artist to make you feel beautiful on the most special day of your life, you've found her!

If I had to describe Megan and Taylor’s work in one word it would be WOW. They were both so amazing to work with. I don’t wear much makeup so I asked Megan to keep my wedding day makeup natural yet beautiful. And she did just that! I get weird about professional makeup because I feel I don’t recognize myself, but I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. It was exactly what I wanted. For hair, I’ve been in a number of weddings and have had my hair done in all the hairstyles so I wanted something different for mine. I’m a pony tail girl and Taylor gave me the boho messy pony tail of my dreams!! I never had to worry about curls falling or bobby pins getting loose. The whole look was so perfectly me. They also did an incredible job with my mom and bridesmaids. I would recommend them + their team to anyone looking for wedding hair and makeup!

Megan was so amazing to work with. Her team was very professional and provided a laid back and comfortable environment for me, my bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law on the day of the wedding. She is very respectful of each woman's personal preference with makeup and provides beautiful looks from natural to glam. She and her assistant kept everything running right on time and everyone in my wedding party loved her! I am SO happy with the way my makeup turned out and couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist for my big day! :)

Megan was so wonderful! I asked her to keep my makeup simple and romantic, and she did just that. On my wedding day, I loved my makeup, felt beautiful, and recognized myself in the mirror (which has never been my experience getting makeup done professionally). I couldn't have dreamed of working with anyone better for my wedding! From the initial contact all the way through the big day Megan was amazing and so much fun to work with! Not only was mine and my girls makeup FLAWLESS I have a pretty large back tattoo that I wanted to cover up for my wedding. Megan was a perfectionist in making sure it was covered and the makeup blended perfectly with my skin tone. Now all I need is another event so she can doll me up!

Megan was a dream makeup artist for my wedding, and I would recommend her to anyone seeking someone to make them feel special and beautiful. (I actually used Megan for several pre-wedding events too - showers, engagement parties, and my rehearsal dinner!) I regularly wear a full face of makeup and know what I like. I loved that Megan knew this, but still suggested new tones, colors, and applications. With each service, my makeup lasted all day and night - even in my wedding, when I took pictures in 97 degree heat and danced for three hours. My "getaway" pictures looked flawless and I had people asking about my makeup all night. My wedding party also loved Megan - some were Sephora junkies, having used every product out there, and some are natural beauties. Megan seamlessly adapted to each of their styles and even made my mom (super finicky and particular) a believer. I am so grateful for her talent, her calm and cool demeanor, and her ability to adapt to different personalities and styles. A total 5-star in my book. You will not be disappointed!!

I had the pleasure of having this amazing human do my wedding make up and omg!!! Stop looking for a makeup artist bc SHE’S RIGHT HERE! She is truly so talented and wonderful. I was so blown away with how incredible my make up looked. I have never felt so beautiful & that’s exactly how Megan wants you to feel. She also did all of my bridesmaids and they looked gorgeous!!! Everyone was completely blown away. She took the time with each one of us and just really knew how to amplify everyone’s natural beauty. On top of being ridiculously talented, she is the sweetest ever!! She made all of us feel so comfortable and was so easy to get along with! I wish I had a reason for her to do my makeup everyday hahaha.

As a woman who has literally never had my makeup done by ANYONE except for myself because I've always thought that makeup artists made girls look fake and not like themselves, I resigned to the fact that I should probably have professional quality on my middle-of-August-Georgia-heat wedding day. I scavenged high and low for MUAs in Atlanta on literally every platform you can imagine and one way or another made it to Megan's website. I was being very particular about wanting a naturally beautiful look and all of Megan's client photos passed the test. Then seeing how much time and effort she CLEARLY spent curating her website to be the most user-friendly and straightforward, how quick and responsive she was to all of my communications, and how understanding she was as I was trying to figure out prioritizing different vendors/budget before giving her a firm answer (she followed up but no pressure and the appropriate amount!) was a done deal. I was sold. Megan continued these traits as I worked with her! She was so attentive and listened to all of my concerns and everything I wanted. And as a self-planning bride, she was so helpful in constructing my day-of getting ready schedule and figuring out logistics for me, eight bridesmaids, and mom! She was a dream to work with. I felt like I wasn't working with Megan at all, but catching up with an old friend. All of my maids felt the same way too. She is girl boss goals and I love and respect how talented and ambitious she is. Support small business and support BOMB talent like Megan! Also, my makeup lasted all freakin day (10am-10pm) in 90 degrees + high humidity! Megan worked my wedding and was an absolute joy and professional! I would recommend her to anyone. I showed her some ideas of what I wanted... mind you, these were two completely different looks... and she helped me make a decision on what I really wanted and flawlessly executed the look. She was even more awesome making some adjustments at my fiances request. I loved my wedding look, it was absolutely perfect. It lasted all day and night, even my lips! My wedding party and the moms looked stunning as well. We had so much fun getting ready with her and loved our looks.

I have fair skin with freckles and most times I've had my makeup done in the past, the foundation color has been off, my freckles have been completely covered (I love them!), or the look is just wrong. Megan is calm, hard working, and so talented at makeup. She is naturally pleasant to be around and listed to all my bridesmaids requests and amplified their beauty. She didn't rush but she was very efficient. My makeup also lasted the whole night and photographed great. I highly recommend her!

I am so happy to have worked together with Megan for my wedding day. She was so easy to work with and with a few pics, knew exactly what I wanted to my bridal look. I typically do not wear a lot of make-up, so I wanted to make sure that I would not look completely different, and Megan was so great in making my look natural, but great for all the pictures. On the day of the wedding, Megan and her awesome assistant April made sure they were all ready to start everyone at 8AM. She brought her own make-up chair, which was sooo nice. All of my bridesmaids were extremely happy with their look, and we all loved having the fake lashes, that definitely make our pictures pop. Megan and April were both so nice, and made sure we had a wonderful relaxing morning with all the girls getting ready. They truly were great to have around, and I could not have had a better start of my wedding day. I would absolutely recommend Megan (and her team), as she will make sure you have a great relaxing morning getting ready and you will look gorgeous. Thank you SO MUCH!

Where do I even start with Megan!? Her talent alone speaks for itself! Megan is an instant friend. She is so warm and welcoming and made me and my bridesmaids feel like queens. Her flexibility and ability to travel made my life so much easier on my big day! Megan is phenomenal! She is so genuine, professional, sweet, AND saying that she knows her stuff is an understatement!! During my wedding makeup trial she really made sure to get an understanding of the look I wanted and made great recommendations for my skin type, face, eye shape etc. She made me feel so comfortable and I also don't think we stopped laughing the whole time, she is so much fun to work with. We ended up making some tweaks for the real deal and it turned out beautifully. My bridesmaids have all different looks and skin types and they were all so happy with their makeup! 20 out of 10 recommend Megan for your wedding makeup or special occasion. I was nervous about finding the right make-up artist for my wedding day because of past experiences. However, Megan is amazing! She is so kind and was so much fun to work with. She is very knowledgeable about what works best for different skin types and preferences. I do not wear a lot of make-up on a normal day so I wanted my make-up to look natural. I didn't want to cover up all my freckles, wanted my eyes to pop, and wanted classic red lips. She listened and my make-up was flawless. My bridal party was thrilled about their make-up, too! The day-of was stress-free and a lot fun. I highly recommend Megan!

Megan is incredible! She was one of my favorite people to work with for my wedding. First of all, she is a fun, easygoing person. This actually ended up being really important for the wedding morning when I was nervous and jittery. During my makeup trial, she made sure she understood what I was looking for and made me feel comfortable giving feedback/little tweaks I wanted to make. The final look was FLAWLESS! Megan truly is excellent at her craft. She made my skin look perfect and natural (I needed the freckles to shine through). I felt beautiful and true to myself on my wedding day. Megan is the absolute best! From beginning to end I felt so at peace with my pick of having Megan do my bridal makeup, my bridesmaids and my Moms. She is the sweetest person to work with, so organized, passionate about what she does and is just phenomenal at her craft! Megan is phenomenal!! I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about her. She takes the time to get to know you during your trial and makes sure she gets your vision perfect for what you want on your wedding day. If there was something I didn’t like she fixed it until it was perfect. I had 7 bridesmaids, 3 of which didn’t really wear makeup and the other 4 had different styles of makeup. She worked with them and kept my vision in mind and made them look absolutely stunning! The way she applied the false lashes on the girls was amazing they looked like their natural lashes, which I was blown away by. I loved my makeup on the day of my wedding I felt like a princess! When she showed me what I looked like I cried tears of joy because she captured everything I imagined! My now husband was blown away with how it looked and loved that it still looked like me instead of someone else like some makeup artists can do. But not Megan, her work is flawless!! I will always refer her hands down! Absolutely love LOVE her!

I have known Megan almost my entire life. She is the most talented makeup artist I know. Her passion for her career is the best I have ever seen and I can say the same for her work. Megan is truly amazing. I went to her without any idea of what I wanted my makeup to look like on my wedding day, and somehow she gave me exactly what I had always imagined. My makeup was perfect, and Megan was so fun to work with. She did such an amazing job with mine and my bridesmaids' makeup that my mom went back to her for her own makeup lesson! I really can't say enough about how great my experience working with Megan was. I would recommend Megan to anyone and everyone!

I don’t have the right words to express what a blessing Megan has been to me! She was recommended to me through my sweet photographer, Sydney Bruton, and I couldn’t be more pleased that our paths crossed. Not only is she an incredibly kind and easy-going person to be around, but she was also so attentive to my needs and really brought my bridal makeup vision to life. I had always hoped that on my wedding day, I’d feel the most beautiful I’ve felt in my life, and thanks to Megan, that couldn’t have been more true. She has such a talent for artistry. During both my trial and wedding day, she really listened to my feedback, and was able to make minor tweaks to my makeup that brought the whole look together. Not to mention, it was such a gift to be surrounded by someone who helped put everyone at ease. I would recommend Megan to absolutely anyone – I’m grateful to have gained a new friend through working with her!

I'm so glad I had Megan do my wedding makeup for my Nov. 2017 wedding. She had such a warm personality and was so prepared. She worked with me and was flexible when I basically changed my mind about what I wanted after the initial (and delightful) makeup trial. She was prompt, responsive and gave me exactly what I wanted in my wedding-day look. I can't recommend her enough!

Megan was a god send! In everyday life I do not wear makeup, last minute I decided to have someone do my makeup as I would like it better in photographs. Not only was Megan accommodating and helpful, but she actually did exactly what I had envisioned for myself (with lack of guidance from myself) on the day of my wedding. All of my bridesmaids and my Mum were beyond THRILLED with how their makeup turned out. If I lived in Atlanta I would have Megan do my makeup for every life event as I absolutely LOVED getting to work with her. What a fantastic experience.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Megan. She was absolutely incredible to work with throughout both my trial and the wedding day itself, she does an unbelievable job and she's just an all around fantastic person to be around. Not only did she arrive early, but she was so cheery and friendly despite me asking her to be there super early in the morning! My makeup was INCREDIBLE and I felt gorgeous all day long! I seriously felt like a model, it lasted all night, even after tons of dancing AND it looks flawless in pictures from EVERY angle!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. You won't regret booking Megan to do your wedding makeup!

I grew up with Megan and have always followed her posts on instagram and facebook about the FLAWLESS work she does with makeup. When I got engaged it was a no-brainer that I would hire her for the wedding. Megan is humble and attentive when she works with you. She takes time to make sure she makes you look like you want to look, not how she thinks you should look. Megan was easy to communicate with and very responsive. It was important to me to have someone who would make my bridal party feel pampered and not rushed and Megan did both effortlessly. She came to my home in Raleigh to do my first trial and came back to do my make up for my bridal portraits. We tried a different look each time and I was so happy with each. I was asking a lot of Megan by asking her to do my wedding. I had 10 people who needed their make up done and a 2pm ceremony time. Megan created our timeline, set up promptly and got everyone done by 1pm. She was efficient and friendly and every bridesmaid and my mom LOVED how they looked. Getting ready was so fun and one of the best experiences of my wedding day. Some girls got their makeup done at 7am and at 10pm they still looked amazing. Ill be using Megan again whenever I need to and Ill be singing her praises for a long time to come.

Megan was my makeup artist me and my bridesmaids for my wedding this past July and she is absolutely incredible! Her skills as a makeup artist and professionalism are top notch. Megan arrived on time, had the brightest smile, and kept everyone calm and on schedule. She is an absolute delight to be around and her laughter is infectious! I just got my pictures back and the first thing my co-worker said when I showed them to her was "Who did your makeup because it is ON POINT!" Being in Georgia and in July, I was worried my makeup would melt or run, but Megan made sure that didn't happen. The pictures from the end of the night look just as fresh as the beginning of the day. My girls all loved her as well. They all have different tastes and comfort levels with makeup, but they all told me they felt like she listened to them and gave them all looks they loved. Megan is a great person to have on your beauty team! She made me feel beautiful while still looking like myself, which was really important to me since I don't normally wear lots of makeup. She also helped in ways she didn't need to. She recommended a fantastic hair stylist (Chelsie Rodden) and even sent me a whole list of things to do in France on our honeymoon since she had just spent the summer there (they were fantastic tips, we did just about everything she said to do in Paris and had the best time!). I'm so happy I found Megan and you will be too!

Megan is amazing. She's so fun and easy to talk to which is obviously very important in a makeup artist as you're literally sitting face-to-face for awhile. She was very quick to respond to my wedding inquiries and super organized from the beginning. We settled on a package that included a trial, application for engagement pictures and application on the wedding day for me and my bridesmaids and the girls in my husband's family. From the very first day we met for our trial (at my home), Megan was so professional and fun. I felt so comfortable with her. I showed her some of my inspiration photos and she gave me what I wanted to a T. Everyone was complimenting my makeup throughout the day and I felt SO beautiful. We did a completely different look for my engagement photos which I actually loved even more than my trial! So we decided to move forward with that look for wedding and I loved it so so much. I felt so much like myself despite not usually wearing very much makeup. Somehow she made me look effortless! Everyone looked gorgeous for the wedding, especially in the photos. My makeup lasted all night long even through a couple tears. She even threw in the lipstick so I could apply throughout the night! If I could, I'd have her do my makeup every single day. And yes, I asked her what she'd charge for it. ;) Thank you Megan!

Megan is an absolute gem! At my makeup trial, I showed her a few pictures of the smoky-eye-nude-lip combo I wanted for my wedding, and she adapted the concept perfectly to suit my features. She did a beautiful job of making me look natural and giving me a dramatic flair. She was very conscious of my reactions and made sure that I was happy with every element. On my wedding day, I arrived with approximately 2 hours of sleep and Megan made me look like I’d had a full 12 hours. I have never felt more beautiful. She also did an elegant job on my mom and mother-in-law, neither of whom wear makeup regularly. They were thrilled! On top of her skills, she is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. She is warm, fun, and immediately puts everyone at ease, which (trust me) is invaluable on your wedding day. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

If there were 6 stars, I'd be rating Megan a 6! She is the total package! Prompt and personable and reliable and a breeze to work with. She is very skilled and knowledgeable and my make up looked beautiful, plus lasted ALL DAY and NIGHT! She also did my mom's make up and my friend, neither of whom wear much makeup. They looked so gorgeous!! We all looked like ourselves, just beautifully enhanced!! Wait until you see what she does with eyes!! :-) You'll love it!
