We cannot recommend Dear Fern Photography enough! Lizzie and Jacob were so supportive throughout the entire year prior to our wedding - checking in with us periodically, helping us...
build our wedding timeline, and staying in touch to support us through the ups and downs of Covid wedding planning. Walking around with them for a few hours and taking photos before our ceremony was honestly one of our favorite parts of our day...they are so cool and fun, and made us feel SO relaxed the entire time. We were a little nervous to pose for the camera, but they made us feel like we were just hanging out with close friends :) They gave us an amazing sneak peek of our photos the night of our wedding, and it was so special to enjoy them together at the end of the night. The images they captured are GORGEOUS and we cannot stop looking at them!
My wife and I were very happy with our choice of photographers! They did a spectacular job. We really enjoyed the multiple poses they put us. I also liked when they had our bridal ...

Dear Fern did an wonderful job on our photos! It was pouring rain, but I had my heart set on photos in downtown Detroit. I went back and forth on if it was still plausible with all...
the rain when looking at the forecast ahead of time. And Jake and Lizzie were great at recommending indoor locations and assuring me that my hair, dress, and makeup would survive the rain. The photos turned out perfect! They were everything I wanted, and my husband and I had a great time taking photos and running between locations avoiding the rain! Jake and Lizzie made us so comfortable and coordinated our first look perfectly. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for photographers who not only take amazing photos, but genuinely care about you getting what you want on your day. They were flexible, helpful, and so great to work with! Do yourself a favor and hire them for your big day!

illing to help. They met up with us and we hashed everything out for the big day. They were VERY affordable and I knew they were good but when we received the final photos, omg, they over exceeded what I thought they’d look like! They captured the tender and loving moments we wanted and worked so well during the wedding. I can’t recommend them enough!

never once have I looked at my photos think they captured a hot mess. They are magic behind the camera! They were so encouraging and supportive through the whole process too. Lizzie spent over an hour on the phone with me one time to make sure that my wedding timeline was everything I needed it to be and gave me some cool ideas to think about too. We definitely will be asking them for more photos sometime in the future and I would recommend them to anyone!

r whole experience with them. They helped us find last minute vendors, when we changed our mind about having a DJ and our officiant backed out 9 days before the wedding. Lizzie helped me create a timeline and figure out all those little details. During our planning process, Lizzie reached out multiple times, just to check on me and ask me if I needed anything. They have exceeded our expectations on so many different levels. They are both so easy to be around and laugh with. Not only all of this, but our photos are phenomenal, warm and cozy. Both my husband and I didn’t really love being photographed, but Dear Fern Photography changed our minds!! We love the albums they have created for us. If you are looking for a photographer, look no further than this duo. I promise you will not regret it!!!
They were wonderful. Every picture was beautiful and looked like it should be submitted to a magazine
I couldn't say enough wonderful things about this husband and wife duo! They were on top of everything, made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera, got all the shots we ...
