About this vendor
I received my formal training in Spain at the Conservatorio Superior de Sevilla. Since returning stateside over a decade ago, I have played for hundreds of weddings and private events, as well as maintaining a regular concert schedule. For me, classical guitar is not merely a profession, but also a personal calling, which I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to share with others day in and day out. The classical guitar is an especially intimate and evocative instrument, which I have found lends itself perfectly to the wedding atmosphere. I have around 4 hours of performance-ready repertoire and enjoy working closely with clients to ensure we pick the best music for their special occasion. Ryan was one of the absolute highlights of our downtown Portland wedding! As my husband and I are not a huge fan of dancing, we were looking for someone to play a concert over dinn...
er instead. We wanted to give our guests a time to relax and enjoy the meal after the cocktail hour. When i came across Ryan’s bio I immediately contacted him. Ryan has traveled the world learning his craft and is incredibly talented. He has put out multiple albums and is on Spotify if you would like a preview. Still to this day guests note how great the dinner music was! Spanish style music is incredibly difficult to play- and Ryan is a master. So yeah, 5 star rating for Ryan! (I also must add he is incredibly affordable, affordable enough where you will probably want to give a huge tip at the end.)
Ryan did an absolutely beautiful job playing guitar for our wedding in Astoria, OR. He gave us tons of good song options for the different parts of the ceremony and played them pe...
rfectly. It was very special to have him there, and added such a classy, but personal touch to the services. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!
Ryan's music was the perfect backdrop to our cocktail hour, and also a wonderful point of focus for our ceremony. He was on time, dressed sharp and was easy to communicate with the...
entire time. From one conversation with him I knew the music for our wedding would be excellent and that I didn't have to think about it anymore. It felt great to cross that off my planning list and know it was taken care of. You can't go wrong with classical guitar and this upbeat professional guy!
Having Ryan play at our wedding was maybe the best decision we made. The beauty and grace at which he plays is magical. We had a very small wedding in the Gorge where the classical...
sound of his guitar absolutely matched the beauty of the waterfalls. He was very professional and catered to our needs and wants without hesitation. Perfect for our intimate day of union.
Ryan Walsh performed an outstanding classical music show at our wedding in Japan. He is not only an excellent professional musician, but also a great person that is able to connect...
very well with the audience. The careful selection of classical music compositions, exceptionally executed, touched The heart of the attendants and contributed to make our wedding as spiritual and memorable as we never expected.
We are so grateful to have found Ryan, who performed the most beautiful classical guitar at our wedding ceremony and reception. His music selection was the perfect accompaniment f...
or our intimate gathering. Ryan was very easy to work with and helped to alleviate some anxiety I was feeling by answering all the many questions I threw at him! He was punctual and very professional in addition to being such a talented guitarist. We highly recommend Ryan for your wedding and/or other special event!

loma. We were stuck between a few different songs and he helped talk us through the decision.
We were married in Astoria, Oregon and Ryan arrived ahead of schedule to coordinate with us. He dressed super professionally and supplied an amp which was more than powerful enough for our high-ceiling venue.
The ceremony went off without a hitch and Ryan's playing added so much to the best day of our lives.
I'd highly recommend Ryan for your ceremony or any other big celebrations!
