Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Soo. All throughout the planning stages, Soo was very communicative and aligned with our musical tastes with ease. We still frequently listen to the bespoke wedding playlists that he created for us. We didn’t want the traditional wedding music and Soo was someone we could trust execute that perfectly. He followed and understood our music tastes so well that some guests thought he was just a friend of ours we hired. We even had people asking for his information night off because they were so impressed. Day of, Soo brought the energy and graced our dance floor with his flawless live set. Many guests called out how impressed they were that the dance floor was full the entire evening. 10/10 would highly recommend Soo.

So happy we went with RedShoe DJs for our wedding! We worked with Jonathan (JCR), who was amazing. He was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding in discussing music choices and timing, and offered some really great advice based on his experience with our specific venue, which was so great. He did an amazing job with all of our requests, playing exactly the type of music we were hoping for during our cocktail hour and dinner. For the ceremony, he timed the songs perfectly for our walks down the aisle, and for the party and dancing he read the room and played the BEST music. My husband and I just had our wedding last month and we absolutely loved, loved, loved working with Manny from RedShoe! He was everything we were looking for as our wedding DJ. Music was an important aspect of our wedding for us, so we were extra particular when searching for a DJ. Our coordinator from XOXO weddings actually recommended RedShoe! We really loved how RedShoe showcases music mixes from each DJ on their website so we could narrow down which music style we were looking for. We loved Manny's mixes and happy that we got to work with him. He is very easy to work with, communicative, and has great taste in music! Let’s keep it simple - Rob is the best. He is hands down one of the best DJs I have ever had the pleasure of listening to and working with. He was always available to us during the planning stages and was genuinely excited for our song selections. We wanted a DJ who could play music through the decades as the night progressed, without over-engineering and taking away from the simplicity of some of the classics we picked. Rob knew exactly what we wanted and how to handle it. Honestly, he’s just such a sweet and friendly guy; someone you want to have around just for his good vibes. He offered to help out other vendors when setting up, checked in with us frequently throughout the night, and truly made our night a blast. We had such a good time with him we even recommended him to our family who is getting married in a few months - looking forward to partying with him again soon!

RedShoe was beyond amazing from the moment we reached out them to the INCREDIBLE job they did at our wedding. We met with DJ Swon and after chatting music for a few minutes we knew he got exactly what we were going for. He curated a fantastic playlist that included our favorite songs and he found unique ways to incorporate them into our day! He also helped us edit our ceremony songs. I spent pretty much my entire wedding on the dance floor and the whole night felt so effortless and fun. He made sure everyone from baby boomers to get z had a blast and felt included and we cannot thank him and RedShoe enough for making our wedding vibe feel fun and uniquely ours.

CR, or to some, Jonathan Rosales, was the best! We shopped around for the right fit for our wedding in June and when I stumbled upon JCR, I knew he was the one for us! The perfect mix of experienced, professional, fun, and laid back. We first listened to JCR's mixed tapes on the Red Shoe website-which were excellent- while on a road trip last summer. He created a narrative and perfect ambience on our wedding day, making it a memorable evening for all. He told a story and it unfolded from start to finish. The only bummer about getting whisked away for photos during cocktail hour was that we didn't get to hear that playlist. I danced all night and this says a lot for someone who doesn't get up much at parties. He is a great collaborator, patient, and friendly. We hired the "A" team for our wedding and JCR was an integral part of that team. I didn't want the evening to end and nor did our guests. Thank you, JCR, I am still smiling!

RedShoe LA - specifically Manny aka DJ MS-1 was the best DC/emcee!! From the beginning we loved his style. On our get to know you call + planning call Manny was so genuinely happy for us and is really just the sweetest and chillest to work with. He totally caught our vibe for music and for every moment of the day where sound was the make or break, he delivered above and beyond. I wish I had more opportunities to book him, but that's why I'm telling you all to do it for me ;) you are in very good hands with RedShoe LA and more specifically, Manny. Thank you!!

Redshoe came recommended to us by our venue and we are SO glad they did. We ended up going with Anthony, DJ Swon, and he was amazing. We initially interviewed him over the phone and then prior to the wedding he set up a zoom call to go through all the music details. He was knowledgable and familiar with our venue, experienced, and professional. We definitely had a unique playlist for him to work from and he welcomed the challenge. If you’re looking for an amazing DJ: Manny Soto is it. He nailed the vibe of our wedding & the dance floor was always full. He also played every single song we requested. The only downside was there was an awkward moment during the mother dance where we just kind of stood around waiting while everyone watched us. I would say 8/10 for MC skills, but 10/10 for DJ skills. He was also just a cool guy to get to know and talk to.

WOW. We couldn't have found a better company to DJ our wedding! Our first call with Ian from RedShoe was SUCH a pleasure -- it was a perfect personality match from the start. I could tell right away he just "gets it". Needless to say, I booked with RedShoe immediately. Ian matched us with DJ A-Ko who was so wonderful to work with as we continued planning our wedding. (We have friends who coincidentally worked with him for their wedding and shared nothing but amazing things.) Unfortunately, our wedding was postponed (numerous times) due to the pandemic and we were unable to secure A-Ko with our date change. Despite the stress of re-scheduling a wedding, Ian and his team made it SO seamless and ended up matching us PERFECTLY with Manny Soto (DJ MS-1) who also works with RedShoe. You would be CRAZY not to work with Manny :) When we received our proposed playlists for all aspects of the event (Pre-Ceremony, Ceremony, Reception), we honestly didn't change a thing. He understood our music taste so clearly and created the perfect balance of songs that kept guests on the dance floor from reception's start to finish. It's so clear that Manny is passionate about his work, well immersed in the industry and KNOWS exactly what he is doing. I am honestly SO grateful for this team and how kind, professional, and patient they were during all the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, date changes, etc. Manny MADE our wedding and we are so grateful. Everyone at RedShoe was awesome! Ian was great to talk with about our needs and helped to figure out what set up might work best (and also was super helpful when everything had to change b/c of covid). JCR was the best DJ! The music just made the whole event work! He kept things light and fun and made such a magical playlist out of the haphazard list and vibe description we gave him. Absolutely hire Red Shoe - they're incredible!

We were nervous about hiring a DJ, but Rob at RedShoe was AMAZING. He curated the perfect setlist for our personal tastes and the dance floor was never empty. Rob was a joy to work with.

After speaking initially with Ian over the phone to confirm our ideal vision for our wedding DJ, Ian hooked us up with DJ Soo (aka Jamous Fames). We really liked what we heard on his redshoe website profile, so we did an initial meet/great over the phone and later Soo put together a sample playlist based on a few of our favorite songs. Soo matched our vibe perfectly! We confirmed a few more details that week and then had a final review meeting about a month before our wedding, where we ironed out the specific songs we wanted throughout the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception and ran through the wedding timeline. On the day, Soo honestly killed it! He did a great job MC'ing the reception and many of our guests commented on how good the music was. We had a solid dance party going before we had to shut things down for the night. Throughout the day and the planning process, Soo was calm and easy to deal with and made the wedding super memorable by setting the perfect vibe we were looking for. I can't recommend Soo highly enough for your wedding or other events and I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Jonathan Rosales (JCR) is the best!! I am so grateful that we chose him for our special day. Our wedding planner highly recommended Jonathan and we didn't even consider working with anyone else. Jonathan was great at working with us to get an understanding of the kind of music and party that we wanted to have. He is so professional, super responsive and gave a ton of great recommendations. He is also so cool and relaxed. Everyone loved him at our wedding! Jonathan also did a great job of making announcements and directing the evening without being over the top / corny like I have seen with other DJs at other weddings. He is a total pro. I felt like he was on my team and would go above and beyond to make sure that we were having fun - it was awesome! He helped us so much when it came to choosing entrance songs, cake cutting, etc. and he kept the party going! Our wedding ended at midnight and I thought that most people would start leaving around 10pm, but no.. everyone and I mean EVERYONE was dancing until the very last minute. Over 90% of my wedding stayed until the very end because they were having so much fun. I got a ton of compliments after our wedding saying that everyone had so much fun and that it was the must fun and best wedding they have been to. Jonathan, thank you so much for being part of my dream wedding and creating the best dance party I could have imagined! You are missing out if you don't choose JCR! :)

We hired Rob (DJ A-Ko) from Red Shoe to DJ our wedding and he is, simply put, incredible. Rob totally got the vibe we wanted for our music. He didn't bat an eye when we requested the title sequence song from Forrest Gump for our processional and offered insight when we felt stuck in selecting songs for other parts of the event. Rob kept the dance floor moving throughout the night and we had so many guests tell us it was the best music out of any wedding they had been to. We (the bride and groom) have different tastes in music (bride = movie soundtracks/scores/musicals, groom = punk). Rob seamlessly blended our tastes! Not an easy task. He also dealt with pesky parents with poise and patience. Can we be best friends with you now, Rob?

JCR at RedShoe DJS was the best wedding DJ EVER!!! We tasked Jonathan (JCR) with a tough task - almost 5 hours straight of dancing. We told him we really wanted it to be an epic dance party for both the reception and the after party, and he did not disappoint. Jonathan did an amazing job of taking our playlist inspo and turning it into the most amazing night of dancing. He knew exactly what to play to keep all ages on the dance floor and knew exactly what to play at the after party to carter more towards the younger crowd. EVERYONE, young and old, danced the whole night away - we had numerous comments from people that they couldn't feel their legs the next morning because they danced so much and that he was the best wedding DJ they'd ever seen. It was literally our dream come true and we're so thankful to Jonathan for nailing it. Jonathan was also a pleasure to work with. So on top of it, so helpful and so collaborative. He helped nail a remixed version of the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to and even came to our rescue when our ceremony mic was dying. Jonathan, you killed it, you're the best, you knew exactly what we wanted for our party and you made it SO EPIC! THANK YOU!!

JCR was a pleasure to work with from day one. Each phone call, email, and day of interaction we had was so easy and made us feel so at ease with the whole process. After discussing, at the beginning of the wedding planning stages, that the dancing and music would be a top priority we knew we would need to bring in the best. We asked around town and were recommended RedShoe by multiple people. Not only were our musical requests and dreams granted, but our guests were dancing all night long! Even our other vendors were dancing! We danced so much our feet and legs were sore the next day. Thank you again JCR! We wish we were getting married again just to have another dance party!

Ian was so much help throughout our wedding planning process! He was very professional and had great ideas about how to manage the night musically. When we had to relocate our wedding last minute to a new venue due to wild fires, he happily made the change and came prepared with his own equipment to make the night a success. Rob was absolutely amazing to work with! I had previously told him that our group wasn’t huge dancers but with his playlist the dance floor was always packed! I’ve had several guests tell me they wish they had his playlist because it was just that good. Even before the wedding, Rob always responded in a timely manner to my emails and communicated well. It was a pleasure to work with him and I recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Ian of Red Shoe DJ connected us to Anthony Soike (DJ Swon), who was such a fantastic guy; he really knew how to read the room. I loved that he asked us what year we graduated from high school to get an idea of our musical tastes. He was so great at transitions and knowing when to speed up or slow things down, and his personality was perfect for us. We were a little hesitant to hire a DJ at all, having had a horrible experience at my husband's daughter's bat mitzvah (think yelling commands, taking over the mike, inserting his personality into every moment of the evening and playing music WAY TOO LOUD). DJ Swon allayed our concerns in our first phone call; he was laid-back, cool, so nice and knew exactly how to handle every situation we brought up (just one example: the song we chose for our first dance, Cat Stevens's "How Can I Tell You," begins with an instrumental interlude that is too slow for dancing, and he knew instantly where to begin the song.) We'd hire them again in an instant.

After a few interviews, we knew RedShoe and DJ Manny were the ones for us! Manny was professional and easy to work with and designed an awesome soundtrack that took us from old romantic tunes from before the ceremony all the way through to our dance party that lasted until the end of the night! He saw our vision and executed it with his own spin and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. He even incorporated a special musical guest (our collegiate marching band) and Greek dancing for my husband! We could not be happier with our choice and highly recommend RedShoe and especially DJ Manny!

My husband and I highly recommend RedShoe. Our DJ was Jonathan Rosales. He was extremely professional and an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our vision for our wedding was to have an awesome party for our friends and family with lots of dancing! So for us, the DJ was one of the most important parts of day. Jonathan totally made this dream a reality! He is very non-judgmental and detail oriented, which made planning our wedding both easy and fun. Our wedding was in Santa Monica, but we live in Illinois. When it came to our wedding, one of the top priorities was to have a "kick-ass dance party"...and wow, did Rob (DJ A-Ko) from RedShoe deliver! We were at a friend's wedding about 6 months before ours, and about 5 minutes into dancing, we knew that Rob was our guy, because man is he beyond awesome. He listened to exactly what we were looking for and also made some great suggestions. He kept the party moving and flowing, and most importantly...kept everyone on the dance floor! When it was time for my wedding planner to send me her recommendations for a DJ, rather than sending a short list as she had in all other categories, she sent me an email with one name and said “this is THE guy”. She was absolutely right. Ian is the most amazing DJ in the entire world! He exceeded my expectations ten-fold. It was the most fun party with the best music! We had a vision, and we had fears. We wanted an elegant evening, great music, and an evening of fun. We did not want a “me centric” DJ who specialized in loud actions and cheesy commentary. Most DJs either talk too much or don’t get anyone dancing. In other words, we wanted someone who could find great music to fit our taste while keeping evening moving and loose but also dignified. He delivered in every way. He lets the music speak for itself and he has an amazing ability to transition throughout the evening. I wasn’t sure how to explain the music my husband and I like, but Ian helped us and ultimately was on the same page. We cannot thank him enough.

We hired DJ Manny from Red Shoe for our wedding reception. DJ Manny came with rave reviews from trusted sources so I reached out to him. From day one it was so easy to work with Manny and to explain our vision for our event. When we sat down to go over the final details I was again amazed by his professionalism and flexibility. He made us feel so comfortable sharing our personal choices. As the big day arrived Manny was everything my friends had raved about all along. He was so much fun, and he had a wonderful way of communicating with our guests. Everyone had a blast! His energy filled the room. Manny knew just what to play and when to play it. He followed our playlist requests and added in some other great tunes as well. It’s been a week and I am still receiving feedback from my guests about the reception and the music in particular. Manny was able to fill the dance floor with guests who may not normally put on their dancing shoes. Manny is a perfect fit for his profession, and I highly recommend him. Manny represents the company Red Shoes in the best way possible.

We knew Ian at RedShoe was the right choice after our very first Facetime call with him. For example, when we talked to him about what kind of music we wanted playing during dinner, we explained that we wanted “Happy Blues...like non-depressing Bill Withers and Sam Cooke.” He was able to take that fairly vague description and rattle off a ton of other songs that would fit right in. Two weeks before our wedding, we had another meeting with him to go over our music choices for each part of the day (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) as well as specific song choices (processional, first dance, etc.). He even went so far as to us ask us specifically how we wanted to be introduced as a couple and what verbiage he should use to invite everyone to the dance floor after parent dances. He offered suggestions where we needed them and worked to make sure that he really understood what vibe we were going for. We never needed to worry that he was going to play cheesy songs---he kept the party going the whole time. So many people came up to us after the wedding to tell us how amazing our DJ was---our reception was a rocking dance party the whole time all thanks to Ian! Hire him!!!!!!

If music and emceeing is a really important component to your wedding and you cringe when DJs yell out unnecessary comments too often like fools while playing the Macarena, then you need to hire RedShoe! Our RedShoe DJ (JCR) is a sophisticated music buff who knows everything there is to know about throwing a wedding reception. He was well organized and asked me all the right questions during our two planning sessions to make sure our wedding flowed seamlessly. We had an extra long dance party, at 3.5 hours and the party never faltered. He stepped right in when one guest suggested that everyone in the wedding participate in a mannequin challenge. He guided us through it, recorded it and edited the video for us. He took music requests from our guests but kept to our musical vibe. He was simply the best.

DJ Ian was amazing! From the music at the ceremony, to the cocktail hour to the reception it was perfect! Everyone knows a great DJ can make or break a wedding - and DJ Ian had every single person up on the dance floor. He never slowed the party down! We were in the Blossom Ballroom at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and the dancing never stopped. My daughter's wedding was a huge success thanks to DJ IAN. I 100% highly recommend Ian and RedShoe - they were fantastic!

RedShoe came recommended to us from our venue, coordinator, and photographer. I was worried about them being out of our budget since they came so highly recommended, but they were well below our budget. You also get to choose from a handful of their artists. After browsing their bios, we asked for DJ Anthony (Swon) because he seemed to fit the bill in terms of our personalities / musical tastes. BEST DECISION EVER. From the very first email exchange, he was professional and fun and made the planning process a breeze. But, let's fast-forward to the wedding because that's what really counts, right? I'll put it this way: our dance floor was never empty and after the last song, our enthusiastic guests shouted: "one more song!" Even friends of ours who are professional DJ's pulled us aside to tell us how "amazing his transitions were." And he incorporated everything from my love of ABBA and 80's pop to classics from the early aught's like Backstreet Boys, Hanson, and Nelly. If you're having a wedding in Los Angeles and want your guests dancing all night long and raving about how much fun they're having, book RedShoe and DJ Anthony immediately.

DJ Dom at RedShoe kept our guests dancing all night long, working in our requests, guest requests, and his own mix of current music in a seamless blend and there was never a down moment. I stepped back in the kitchen at one point and even the servers were dancing. He also served as MC and was smooth and classy. Highly recommend!

From the moment we met Tony (DJ Redshoe) we knew we wanted him to be our DJ. Best decision we ever made. Tony was friendly, laid back, and organized. He made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. Our guest ranged from 80 to 5 years old. So you can imagine how hard it is to make everyone happy. Our dance floor was packed all night. Tony was so helpful when we were deciding what music to play at different times during the wedding. He sent me some Spotify lists which were very helpful. I have been in and gone to a lot of weddings and hands down we had the best DJ. I can’t say enough great things about Tony. We have had so many people call us and tell us our DJ was amazing. Anyone who is looking for a DJ for a wedding, birthday party, or an event, Tony is the man to call!

DJ Swon (Anthony) did an absolutely AMAZING job at our July 2012 wedding! I got SO many compliments about how amazing the music was. We had a small wedding (about 60 people), so I was a little concerned about getting people on the dance floor, but I shouldn't have worried! From the start, DJ Anthony got everyone on the dance floor having a great time. Consulting with him and planning our playlist and timeline was probably the most fun I had at a wedding meeting. He was responsive, friendly, and professional throughout the process. He truly listened to what we wanted in our wedding music and made that happen! Furthermore, we had serious difficulties with our day-of-coordinator, who was NOT great, but because of DJ Swon, I knew that he would keep things running and on-track. Lastly, the main thing that we were looking for in a DJ (aside from non-cheesy music and NOT having a whole night of songs like "Love Shack"!) was to not have super cheesy announcements. DJ Swon kept it understated and classy yet relaxed. I highly recommend RedShoe and DJ Swon!

From our first meeting with Tony from RedShoe, we just had a great feeling that he understood what we wanted and would make it a great night. But we had NO idea that we'd stumbled across the best wedding DJ in town! I am not exagerating! Our guests were up and dancing before dinner even finished, the music was so great! There were people on the dance floor the entire night...except for the few minutes where he honored my request to play some country...and as he'd warned in our meetings, it didn't do well. Not to worry, Tony got the dance music back up and running and we danced every song until the end of the night. EVERYONE was telling us we had an amazing DJ and I'll be passing on his name to any of my friends who get engaged because I want to dance at one of his events again! The best part was that he did a great job MCing...but you'd never even know he was there. In fact my uncle thought we just had an amazing iPod playlist, he never even noticed we had a DJ. Which means that he ran the show smoothly without taking the attention off of us, which is really what you want in a wedding DJ. Hands down Tony from RedShoe was the BEST DJ and gets the award for our surprise break out best vendor in our wedding because really you just never know who you'll get in a DJ, but we were so glad to have found Tony.
