he videography planning and communicating with. Our vision was to have a a tea ceremony before our church ceremony followed by a grand Chinese style reception. We wanted a videographer who was comfortable and accustomed to capturing precious tea ceremony moments and be able to highlight the important moments of a Chinese reception. It was definitely a more different than what we were used to because we did not know who Redwood Reverie would match us up with to film our wedding until the day of the event. However Hayley reached out to us with questionnaires to fill out throughout the entire process making sure we were able to flesh out our expectations and vision as specifically as possible. When the wedding day arrived we finally met the videography team and they were able to work seaminglessly with the photographer we hired. We did not have to micromanage the videography and felt like they did a great job of capturing all the moments we had hoped for. When the finished product was sent to us three months later, it exceeded our expectations! We loved the highlight video and it was what we were hoping for except we did not have to spend a thousand dollars more with another videographer just to get a similar product. If you don't mind a very hands off style of working with the videographer, then Redwood Reverie may be what you are looking for.

They were also very easy to work with on the day of - my husband and I are not always comfortable being in the spotlight and were worried about being in front of a camera all day, but we really didn’t notice it much at all! They gave us direction as needed, but it didn’t feel awkward in the slightest. We absolutely loved how our video turned out, and are so happy that we will be able to watch clips of our special day in the years to come! The video looked very professional - their editing team overlayed parts of our maid of honor/best man’s speeches over the video, and it truly felt like a movie.
