I have 10 years of experience working as a Digital Media Content Creator on commercials, cinema films, & special event videography. I currently hold a FT position as a communications coordinator with a South Carolina State agency, which means I create digital media content all day everyday. Since graduating college, I've held FT jobs while freelancing videography on the weekends. I am now 30years old, married with a wife and one baby girl. Wedding films are the content I now enjoy creating because it ties in with my evolved lifestyle. Love and family is now the most important thing to me.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. My husband and I hired Kendrick as a videographer for one of the most important days of our lives…our wedding. He lost EVERYTHING…all of the foo...

tage. I will never understand how a professional works off of only ONE copy. As time went on, he kept saying he would try to get all 300 deleted files recovered, but that never happened. Everytime I reached out, there was another excuse. The excuses ranged from “being booked,” being busy at work, going out of town, etc. Aside from losing everything from our special day, he completely lacked remorse. Instead of him reaching out to update me on the progress, I always had to contact him. I was the one continuously following up. Instead of focusing on making sure he had proper systems/back-ups in place, he was too busy dancing (see picture below) at our wedding. How incredibly unprofessional- to be hired as a videographer for a wedding and dance as if you’re a guest. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

My daughter’s wedding was in March and it was one of the best days of my life. Unfortunately the video we received was missing most of their first dance, first looks with father an...

d groom, the cake cutting, dads speech, the bride and groom crowd surfing, and Irish dancing by my niece. We were all very disappointed by the quality of the video of the ceremony as well. With all that being said, we wish we would have gone with someone else. They did get a discount but that doesn’t make up for the fact the video we were all excited to watch years to come isn’t what we hoped it would be.

I understand how meaningful those specific moments are, the first dance, the father-daughter interactions, the speeches, those are memories that deserve to be preserved fully, and I take responsibility for not delivering that experience the way your family deserved. At the time of your daughter’s wedding, I was walking through one of the most difficult personal seasons of my life. The day before the wedding, I was faced with the reality that my own marriage was coming to an end. I still showed up committed to serving your family, but emotionally, I was carrying something heavy that I was not fully equipped to process while also performing at the level I should have. That is not an excuse, but it is the truth behind that day. Since then, I’ve grown tremendously, both personally and professionally. I’ve experienced healing, I’m now remarried, and I’m in a much stronger and more stable place in life. That season taught me hard but necessary lessons about responsibility, preparation, and structure. Because of that experience, I’ve built systems within my business to ensure that every couple is protected no matter what. I now have a full editing workflow and team in place, along with processes that ensure consistency, coverage, and quality across every wedding we capture. Your daughter’s wedding happened during a chapter of my life where I was not operating at the standard I hold myself to today, and I truly regret that your family experienced me at that time. ng. When we signed our contract we were told we’d have our video back in “about a month”. A month and a half had passed so I asked for an update for when our video would be complete. I had family members asking to see our ceremony since they couldn’t be there the day of our wedding. At this point I also had 2 friends who got married after me and they already had their videos so we were anxious to see ours. We kept getting updates for a week straight then heard nothing the next week. We heard horror stories of people’s vendors “ghosting” them so we both got nervous. I reached out again to see if we could get a timeline of when it would be complete and we were told they didn’t have time to touch it those past couple of days because they had some issues they were dealing with at home. We understood everyone has stuff going on in their home life, but it’s also frustrating and worrisome when you pay someone, trusting them to deliver a service for one of the most special days of your life. After over two months we were told the editing process was being turned over to one of the other guys on the team. Once that happened we had our video back the next day. Our final video is missing key parts of our reception (cake cutting, Irish dancing with my relatives, my dads speech, and only showed a second of our first dance). It’s disappointing and we’re really upset with the outcome. It is important to note we got a discount and didn’t have to pay half of the total payment due to our experience. However, I would have rather paid in full and gotten a video truly depicting our special day. My moms reaction to our video was “where’s the rest of it”

The great experience you had working with me before waiting on your delivery was genuine and real, unfortunately, the day before your wedding, I was faced with the reality that my own marriage was falling apart. At that time, I was walking through one of the most difficult seasons of my life. I showed up and did my best to be present, but internally I was grieving something very real, and that impacted me more than I was prepared for. That’s not an excuse, but it is the truth. Since then, my life has changed in a major way. I’ve experienced healing, growth, and I’m now remarried and in a much stronger, healthier place both personally and emotionally. That season forced me to grow up, not just as a man, but as a business owner. I’ve also built systems to make sure nothing like this ever affects a couple again. I now have a dedicated editing team and a structured process in place so that every film is completed meeting deadlines with consistency and care, regardless of what’s happening behind the scenes. Your wedding fell in a chapter of my life where I was not operating at the level I hold myself to today, and I genuinely regret that.
