Watching the video was an emotional experience for both my husband and me; we will treasure these memories forever. Michelle is also kind and fun to work with. We would recommend having a second shooter; we only had one and the "B camera" (set up on a tripod while Michelle worked the A camera) was out of focus for the whole ceremony. It took some time to get email responses from Michelle in the planning process. For example, I sent emails about the schedule for the day on June 4 and 16 and, after not receiving a reply, texted on June 23 to confirm we were still on, as we had not had any other communication since booking a year earlier. Michelle texted back saying yes, but still did not reply to my email until I followed up again on July 7. Follow ups were required for more communication both before and after the wedding.

rom the start, Michelle was kind, patient, and friendly. On our wedding day, she snuck into the bridal suite, kindly introduced herself, and then proceeded to capture beautiful footage without ever feeling intrusive. At the end of the night, she took the time to say goodbye and gave me a hug, which was meaningful and kind.
We ordered both a highlights video and a documentary video, both of which are excellent. The highlights video captured the love and happiness of the day succinctly, paying homage to our NYC venues and to all of the important elements of our wedding day. The documentary is professionally-executed, and, despite its length, never dull or haphazardly edited. We are so glad that we hired Reel Brooklyn for our wedding, and wholeheartedly recommend their work to other couples!
