Reese & Renee

oking for in our photos, to our meeting before the wedding, to our welcome party photos, and our entire day. Everything ran so smoothly with them. They truly captured the love that we share with not only each other but our friends and family as well. We received nonstop compliments on how personable they were with our guests and one of them felt like they ever got “in the way”. They even joined us on the dance floor. Working with Reese & Renee was the best time ever and we are so thankful for that experience.

ding my husband and I) feel so comfortable and in the moment. He captured the day exactly as we wanted, with all of the emotions and love and excitement. We especially loved that he paid attention to what and who were important to us, and even took the time to remember the names of our bridal parties and immediate family members. So many of our guests have highlighted how Reese added so much to the day and captured the moments perfectly. I wouldn't have picked anyone else to be a part of our wedding day, and would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a photographer that captures the emotions of the day to book Reese and Renee!!

emotions (good and stressful) on top of moments that typically don't get to be relived. From our first phone call conversation to 10 months post wedding the answer has stayed consistent: The experience with Reese and Renee was such an absolute treat. Their way of working, the nature of their expertise and most importantly how they approach every minute and moment with such human nature is unmatched. They made both of us feel so naturally in love when capturing such intimate moments. It was never uncomfortable or forced and we swear there were always surprises along the way. The experience was absolutely worth the investment and we continue to recommend Reese and Renee to EVERYONE. The way they connected with our wedding party, friends and even the non-english speaking grandmothers - they went above and beyond throughout the entire experience. It's been such a wonderful experience knowing Reese and Renee and we're looking forward to a future photoshoot and reunion here soon :)

ours! He met with us virtually (and worked with our very busy schedules!) multiple times during the planning process to learn what was important to my husband and I. He asked genuine questions about us, our families and our lives so that he could document this in his work. Multiple family members and bridal party members commented on how wonderful he was and how comfortable everyone felt on our wedding day. We were blown away at the quality of the photos- true, genuine and emotional moments from the whole weekend. Our matted photos turned out beautifully and the album is beyond wonderful- we are so grateful to Reese! Of note, both my husband and I come from tall families, and didn't realize how great that would be with a tall photographer! We cannot wait to work with Reese again for family photos and we would HIGHLY recommend him to any couple!

fficially booking him he understood exactly the vision we had for our wedding day and executed it perfectly. We didn’t want overly posed/staged pictures and he gave us just that. I couldn’t tell you how many pictures he got that we didn’t even realized he captured. Like I remembered so many tiny details about the day that I loved and realizing he somehow managed to capture those little moments in photographs was amazing. He truly pays attention to every detail and makes sure he gets everything. These are pictures we will truly cherish for a lifetime because they look and feel so authentically US. We can’t wait to order a physical album so we can pull them out and look at them all the time. Thank you Reese 🤍

We found Reese & Renee after seeing their beautiful photos of another wedding on Maui. We were looking for someone local and loved their style. From the moment we connected with Reese, he was so nice and was really focused on making our wedding the best day ever! Our wedding was delayed by one year due to Covid. During this time, Reese and his family moved from Hawaii to Michigan. Without hesitation, Reese informed us that he had moved but would still honor our plan and agreed to travel to Hawaii for our wedding. (Thank you, Reese!) Two years later, we finally got to meet Reese in person. There is something about Reese that makes you trust him immediately. He has a calm and collected energy about him that instantly puts the wedding day jitters at ease. Reese took extra time to scope out our venue ahead of time, picked out the perfect location for our first look, and found beautiful spots around the venue for pictures with our family and friends. He talked to us both along the way, not being too much, but saying just enough to guide us. Reese was so natural at setting up all the special moments that we will cherish for a lifetime. We received all of our photos in a timely manner and Reese made the photo selection process a breeze. The photos turned out so good! He helped us pick out prints and design our album with so much patience along the way, while we were having a hard time narrowing down our favorites. The album was 100% worth it. We love having the album as a coffee table book to always be able to look back on and relive those moments. Reese has the ability to tell stories through pictures and is beyond talented. With Reese, you get more than just a photographer, you get another teammate who is focused on making your wedding day extra special. Thank you, Reese, for all that you did for us and all the special touches you put on your work along the way. With love, Dylan & Ashley McGuire Maui | 6.25.21

s on capturing real and intimate moments with not only us but our loved ones as well. He made us feel so comfortable and always reminded us to soak in the moment. We would recommend Reese and Renee 110% to anyone wanting to capture a special event. They take the time to really get to know you and even sent us extremely thoughtful gifts to celebrate. We could not be more grateful for them and will cherish the photos he captured forever!!

d out to us not only becuase of his amazing portfolio of images but because of his warm and easy personality. Then, 6 months later when COVID hit and we had to postpone our wedding Reese was incredibly professional, calm, and flexible with us through an uncertain time. We ended up picking a new date with only 3 months notice and Reese was so helpful and flexible adapting to our new plans. During the actual wedding, Reese was amazing. He captured every special moment and everything felt so genuine. Even when it started downpouring during our outdoor ceremony Reese had a positive attitude that was totally infectious. He even made my mom, who is not very comfortable in front of the camera, feel at ease and now we have AMAZING photos with her that mean so much. Reese really took the time to understand our family dynamics and unique situations and his care and attention I think come through in the moments he captured. We LOVE our wedding photos and we feel so lucky to have gotten to work with Reese!

able to capture all the feelings and emotions. We love looking through our wedding book and being able to relive the day through the moments he captured. He was so easy to work with, and he really understood exactly what we wanted from our wedding photos. I would recommend him 100 times over for any special event!!! ❤️

l moments and I can’t imagine our day without them. I would categorize their style as very natural. They captured all the smiles, tears, laughs and love shared at our wedding. I 110% recommend them for any special event!!! ❤️

d thought that might be difficult to find; needless to say, we were blown away by the work of Reese and Reene when they were recommended to us. I felt like I personally knew all of the people and places in their photos after looking through their albums on their website!! We worked individually with Reese; leading up to the wedding day, we felt incredibly encouraged and supported. Even through a move from Hawaii to Michigan and the addition of two new family members, we STILL felt like a priority, and knew we were always on the same page. He had such great advice and sentiments about marriage and how to best savor our special day while we were in the moment, and we absolutely cherished that. When the big day rolled around, we couldn’t have been in better hands, and every one of our guests thought so too! Everyone felt so at ease, and that energy showed up in his absolutely stunning photography. We are beyond grateful to have such beautifully-captured memories of our wedding, and I can’t recommend Reese highly enough!!

ents. With Reese, we got that and so much more! He is one of the nicest and most authentic people we have ever met, and he is wonderful at his job! Reese was very helpful and responsive leading up to our wedding. He brought a lot of experience and suggestions to the table while still allowing us to build our own ideal day. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and handled family dynamics with ease. He also seemed to be around to capture every single shot - and had a blast through it all! And, as we had hoped, our pictures turned out authentically beautiful. We really cannot say enough good things about him, and highly recommend him!

ng that about Reese would still be selling him short. He's amaazzzinggg. He's a true artist, but it also feels like he could be your next door neighbor. Naturally charming and extremely professional. He's noticeably having a ball behind the camera and it's contagious!  Reese is also one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and genuine people that you'll find on the island. We were lucky enough to book Reese for an engagement shoot back in February. That shoot was incredible. Just check out the shots in the water taken by Reese while on his surfboard!  We have him and his wife booked for our larger wedding celebration next year and we absolutely cannot wait!! We couldn't be more confident in his ability, his eye, and his infectious enthusiasm.

the change. But, the first thing that I did do when things changed was email Reese and Renee. We were already chatting about the possibility of them photographing our destination wedding but we didn’t have exact dates yet so nothing was set in stone. When it was decided that our already planned engagement party was to be turned into a surprise wedding, I knew we needed to lock down Reese and Renee to be our photographers. Being an active duty family makes you really appreciate & preach the saying, ‘don’t sweat the small stuff’. The only thing that I knew about that day that I would sweat was photography & videography. The second R&R said they were available and willing to travel to Kentucky, well.. I didn’t sweat a thing! I never had this fear, but after the wedding my mom told me that she feared that having photography and videography would definitely make it obvious that the photographers were in the way/always visible. But that statement couldn’t be further from the truth with R&R. They seemed to get every shot, but yet I don’t remember thinking at all “Oh, this camera is in my face 24/7.” It was like they melted into the background so that we, along with our guests could enjoy this incredible celebration but the photos and video prove that they were in the middle of it all! I’m probably not putting this into words as best as I could, but R&R are the best photographers to add to your wedding team. They will be there for you with whatever you need and somehow learn all of your family member’s names in a matter of minutes to the point where it all seems like they, too are part of the family. Truly, do yourself a favor and book them because I can promise you, when R&R are on your team, there is no need to sweat about photography! It will be perfect.

finitely check out their profile, and we were SO thrilled with our photos. On top of that, Reese and Renee were a wonderful presence - they kept us grounded and let us focus on each other during our special day. Bottom line - Reese & Renee are AMAZING. We were so lucky to have them, and our photos turned out BEAUTIFULLY.

d photographers!

at were Just Right, and Reese & Renee were more than we could have hoped for. Because we loved them so much, we are going to write a Very Long Review. We'll organize it into three parts: their vibes, what working with them was like, and the photographs themselves! From our first phone conversation to the emails we've exchanged post-wedding, Reese & Renee have been warm, engaged, and attentive. Our wedding was planned on very short notice due to a visa situation, and they were so flexible and understanding of our needs. When the visa finally came through and we let them know, it felt like we were sharing the happy news with close friends. We only had 30 people at our wedding, and by the end of the weekend, it really felt like they were part of our intimate group of friends & family. Neither of us are incredibly comfortable being photographed, but Reese & Renee made it so easy for us. They used fun techniques to encourage genuine reactions and sweet moments between us, and it made the few hours leading up to our wedding very special. Our 'first look,' for example, was a beautiful moment, and we felt we could really experience it even though they were right there with us. Reese & Renee captured so many little moments about our wedding weekend that we may have forgotten otherwise. They had great ideas about how to photograph specific moments, and the images came out stunning. We especially appreciated that they used both film and digital photography-- it added another dimension to our wedding album. Our wedding photographs are not only documentary, but they capture the range of emotions and relationships that made our day so incredibly special. We love Reese & Renee! We very strongly recommend them to anyone looking for incredibly talented and wonderful people to photograph their wedding.

e back quickly and personal.. I loved how all their photos made you feel like you were there by all the emotions they captured and not an overly posed photos.. I wanted those photos for us and for family and friends that weren’t able to come! They were such a pleasure to work with and you’ll wanna be their best friend! Lol no joke! Thank you again guys!! Mahalo and congratulations to y’all too

phers themselves. They fit right in! We know we'll treasure how they captured the special moments of our engagement and wedding for years to come.

. Our pictures from our wedding day turned out perfect and captured our personalities and vib perfectly. They were organized, responsive, thoughtful, and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Most importantly, R&R took the time to get to know us and emphasized again and again that the day was about us and our love for each other. They're awesome- go Reese and Renee.

m to truly bring the best out of every picture. Capturing actual emotion, and moments we will cherish forever. Nothing felt staged. Could not be happier with them both personally and professionally. Calming, thoughtful, friendly, and a perfect choice for anyone's special occasion. - Baxter's

gathering of golden and red aspen trees, when Reese shared with us the perfect description of what we were feeling for each other. All the while, Renee would give voice to compliments that meshed so perfectly. This combination of narrating radiated through our bodies, and looking back on these specific photos (actually all of them from the weekend...), we are able relive the newfound eagerness that was coursing through us newlyweds, which, gentlemen, is a great start to any romantic evening... When we "hired" Reese & Renee, we had no idea what all was to come. Me, being the naive husband on topics like this for wedding planning, thought that they would just be a couple that took our photographs. Almost immediately, I realized that my expectations were unbelievably shallow. From the first phone call, to that very moment in the meadow, I felt like my wife and I were more prepared for each other than we could have ever been. On top of that, our entire wedding guest list could not believe how amazing their experience was when they interacted with R&R. I truly wish Reese & Renee lived in our hometown so that we could continuously thrive off their positivity and utmost love for each other. #goals I would recommend their services to anybody. I do not believe that there is anyone out there that would not benefit from having Reese & Renee in their lives, especially as the ones who will capture the most beautiful and articulate memories you can reflect on everyday. Astonishing job, Reese & Renee. We miss you both, and wish you the best on everything! We will forever recommend your services, and be ready for whenever we renew our vows!

ith for life. (Trust me, you spend your entire wedding day with your photographer, you want to like them!) They really took the time to get to know us as a couple, made sure our photos were "us", and made us completely comfortable. Professionally, working with Reese & Renee was super smooth. They were always quick to respond, answered all of our questions, and were flexible. The price is a steal for the quality of work provided. I truly feel like I am reliving my wedding day when I look through my photos - they capture all the love and joy perfectly!

, and we will cherish our wedding pictures forever. They helped us throughout the entire planning process whenever we needed it and gave us guidance on our timeline all from a different state! Because we were only in town and available for a few days to get engagement pictures done, they went out of their way to make a trip just for the session. I can't recommend them enough!

o to a small, destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, MX and they did not skip a beat! They 100% supported us and made us feel like we were making the best decision for us. Not only did they make Ian and I SO comfortable in front of the camera, they went to great lengths to make sure we were happy, relaxed and having fun on our wedding day. Our families couldn't stop raving over what genuine, professional and all-around great people these two were. They listen, they do AMAZING work and they fit in with the crowd. You won't regret hiring them.
