REFeyeANCE made my wedding day truly special with their outstanding work. MyNhi was incredible—she created a hairstyle that looked stunning and stayed perfect all day, even with a cathedral veil in. When my hair color changed to a lighter shade from our trial months earlier, she smartly suggested tweaking the hairdo, knowing which style would hold better. I was nervous at first, but her experience shone through, and she absolutely nailed it. MyNhi has a great sense of humor, so she made our session fun, which helped the time go by. She also kindly stuck around for a bit when she was done and stepped in to help me adjust the tricky sleeves on my dress instead of my bridesmaids when we started running a bit behind—it meant the world. Christina was an absolute gem on my day. She did my bridal makeup exceptionally well, and was skilled enough to adapt what we trialed months earlier to complement my new tan. She used airbrush and fake lashes to create an awesome natural look that matched my vision perfectly. Her calming presence was everything, and she handled all requests with such grace, making me feel completely at ease. Like MyNhi, Christina went above and beyond and hung out a bit longer to help where she could. In addition to loving their makeup, all the ladies who had the pleasure of working with her thought she was fun and a big sweetheart. Joi was sincerely a joy — equally impressive, handling both hair and makeup with precision and creativity, ensuring each person felt beautiful and unique. Like Christina and MyNhi, on top of doing great work, she was a hard personality not to enjoy all those hours. Together, MyNhi, Christina, and Joi seamlessly managed my bridal party of 20, including the moms and grandmother of the bride. Services Offered REFeyeANCE Makeup & Hair will begin your services with a trial run, as a chance for you to decide on your ideal look and aesthetic. Afterwards, their stylists will work with you to create a detailed hair-and-makeup schedule, to give you peace of mind on your big day. Contouring, updos, and dramatic details are some of the many services they can provide to you and your wedding party. In addition, you will have the option to have your stylists onsite throughout the evening to provide touch-ups before your important events. JOI NICOLE (lead makeup and hair stylist), MYNHI and MIRA (bridal party hair and makeup artists) were ABSOLUTELY incredible. They exceeded any expectations I had. They were so professional, creative, so kind, took charge, and got to business! I had a large bridal party (11 girls) and every single girl was in love with their hair and makeup. Not to mention, Joi, Myhni, and Mira were the most loving & thoughtful team throughout the whole process. I couldn't love them more. They got straight to work with all of us and had spare time to do touch ups if they needed to. I really can't recommend them enough. The only reason I'm not sad that I won't be working with them again is because they are the stylists for my best friend's wedding in September. Joi, Myhni, and Mira- thank you for being the BEST and making us look and feel our BEST. You made my "wedding look" dreams come true and I couldn't be more grateful. I love you so much!!! Can't wait to do it all over in September!

. She was very receptive towards my feedback, and make sure during the trials to ensure I was happy. She communicated to the other artists that my party and I all prefer a timeless look, and made sure to bring out our natural beauty. The day of the wedding, Joi was prompt and efficient. She made my long hair stay in braids and curls (it usually rebels even a ponytail), and found lipstick that lasted the entire day. She did a phenomenal job and I cannot recommend her enough. REFeyeANCE in general was good to work with. Their communication was pretty clear, and they had a ~24 hour response time for emails. I would recommend the company and Joi in particular for any type of hair and any desired make-up - she is truly an artist and an expert.

She arrived and set up then started berating me about the first person being late (every minute or two she complains- mind you she ended up finishing and left early and got the $20 late fee tip since my first person was late by about 10 mins). The constant complaining for 10 minutes left me to hide in my room and cry. I was so angry and upset with her. Our hair person was a gem, but the makeup person needs some manners on behavior towards brides. I shouldn't have been berated to tears on my wedding day. Terrible experience.

Joi did our makeup - she has a perfect eye for making each individual stand out and feel gorgeous. Her makeup application was seamless and stayed on all night! The perfect level of an elevated, but natural look which is what we asked for. She was also pretty quick with application! en i wanted which was a big thing for me, specially the makeup, other places wanted me to do a trial immediately (this was winter time) but i wanted to wait until the weather was similar to my actual wedding date and i was able to do that with them. Joi the MUA that i was give was amazing, i immediately booked her for my engagement photos. Her work is just so good and she has the best attitude and energy. So why am i not giving 5 starts? well because on wedding day itself there are a few details with the team that came to do the entire bridal party. I had 8 people, which meant i needed 3 artists to be able to accommodate everyone. Joi was great as in the past but the crappy attitude and energy from one of the other artist in particular could definitely improve, the feeling felt across my bridal party and i receive comments about it afterwards. Three of my girls were also charged extra for "long hair" and this was never stipulated on the contract, so i would ask that from the beginning to make sure to get good prices. Her work was great, all the hair dos looked incredible but she could have been nicer.

ooking them, it was not made clear that there is a travel fee for each service, just quickly mentioned once that there *may* be a fee depending on how far the artist has to drive the day of. There is no mention that this fee also applies to hair and makeup trials, nor that you have to have the artist travel to you for those, making a hair/makeup trial the same amount, if not more money than the actual wedding day. I will say that when I brought this up while booking my makeup trial, the artist was nice enough to waive the fee and allow me into her home studio, but I think this should be made very clear up front- it certainly would have influenced my booking decision. Additionally, when I went to pay my artist on the wedding day, I was charged late fees. I have no idea what these late fees were for, and I felt pressured at the time to just hand over money without questioning it. Overall, the quality of the artists was good and the customer service was good, but I felt that there were too many fees and glitches (I shouldn't have needed to rely on customer service so many times to make things right) to recommend this vendor to others.

in the area and I found Eye Do to be extremely responsive and price competitive. They promptly set me up with a hair stylist for a trial, and the stylist came to my house which was super convenient! I ended up getting matched up with Danielle and I am SO glad I did! From the moment I met her, she put me at ease and was so fun to work with. She listened to me and really understood exactly the kind of style I wanted on my wedding day. Between the trial and wedding she recommended I get some clip in extensions to add more volume and she was kind enough to text me suggestions on exactly what to get. In the days leading up to my wedding she texted me confirm, reassured me that they would be there on time and to reminded me to breathe which was so helpful! On my wedding day she literally created the hair of my dreams. She spent so much time getting it right, and kept checking in with me to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. I absolutely loved the hair and I got SO many compliments on it throughout the day. She also did a great job on my friends/family hair and Leanne the other stylist was great to work with as well! xperience and I am so glad I ended up going with them. My artist, Carter, was so sweet and did such an incredible job… I really can’t say enough about her. She really understood the look I was going for and offered her honest opinion, which I truly appreciated! She honestly made me look and feel like a real-life princess! Her team that was with her- Diane and Whitney- were just as amazing! My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law felt like rock stars and all of them looked absolutely GORGEOUS! These three ladies traveled all the way out to a ranch where we were staying about an hour southeast of Dallas for the wedding, in the middle of thunderstorms and tornado warnings and not one of them was late or complained about a thing! We all got the airbrush makeup done, which looked amazing, felt so light, and lasted all night! I can’t thank these ladies enough for playing such a big role in what ended up being a fairytale wedding and best day of my life!!

matron of honor. I only gave them 4 stars, however, because there were some communication issues with the company itself. Emails come from several different sources which can get confusing. When they sent me my final confirmation a week before the wedding, they had the date, time, and place wrong. Which made me nervous. It all worked out in the end, but I could have done without that. They also tried billing me for $100 more than we had originally agreed, stating that they'd updated the prices on the website before our contract was signed. But the prices still on the website were the ones I was expecting, so they took the price back down.

the very high volume of bridal bookings we manage per year, we operate out of 2 email addresses. The first email is our main email address. This is how we communicate with you from start, to your wedding day schedule. The second email is our scheduling email which is solely for approving and revising your wedding day schedule. We actually implemented a price decrease this year (no increase). Your reservation was quoted during our old pricing which was higher. The schedule was made from your reservation details which contained the pricing you were quoted. When you asked us to honor the new website pricing we did so happily. Sounds like you had a win with your artist, and a win with lower than quoted pricing. Congratulations to you and you new husband!

t have been any better. Not only were they great at doing the hair and makeup services, they were also super friendly and easy to talk to. My sister, who is incredibly picky and indecisive, had her hair done and then decided she didn't like it. Jenn was so sweet and redid it to her liking, and if she was annoyed at all (which I would have been) Jenn didn't show it whatsoever. Stephanie was also incredible and put up with me being a bit of a bridezilla and wanting to take a break to eat (which again, if I were in her shoes, I would have been annoyed). I would 100% recommend them to every bride and will hopefully get to see them again whenever my friends get married!

how I wanted it to, and my bridesmaids looked beautiful and really enjoyed getting their hair and makeup done for the day! Jamie and Montia were very easy to get in contact with and got everything done on time. They were very flexible, and it was super nice that they were able to come to me at the hotel the morning of the wedding. The only thing that was a little difficult was that I am not from the Twin Cities but had to find somewhere to meet my stylist in the cities when I went to do my trial run. Honestly wasn't a big deal, but just so other brides know when they go to book. I would recommend Eye Do to any bride, especially Jamie and Montia!

tiful but just not right or what i was essentially looking for. I had spoken to customer service and they offered a free hair trial since thats what i was really upset with the most and i paid for another make up trial to try a second look. Well i LOOOVED the second look! It was exactly what I was looking for. And though it took almost 3 hours to achieve it, it was well worth. However, the reason for the 3 stars, fast forward to my wedding day, i was told originally that I would have jamie all to myself and i realized when i received the “timeline” the day before, of all the girls doing their makeup/hair in my bridal party the day of, my hair and makeup set times was spread out and my stylist was shared amongst the 5 other girls. I figured they are professionals they know what they are doing but the day of the wedding i was THE LAST GIRL to have their makeup/hair done! i get it your professionals but knowing my trials lasted well close to 3 hours and we had about 2hrs left before we had to get dressed i was a bit perturbed as to why i was put last since i was also THE BRIDE THE MOST IMPORTANT?! Secondly...the makeup that jamie had put on me the day of the wedding was from my FIRST TRIAL and NOT my second trial. We were running soo late as it is, i couldnt even have the time to tell her “hey! U put the wrong palate on me!” If it werent for me taking out the lip gloss i wanted to use (from my second trial) she wouldve put some nasty lip stain she used on me during my first trial as i saw her whip it out! I was disappointed it didnt exactly turn out the way i wanted it to. In the end, with tax and a $60 tip (i tip well cuz im in the service industry too) my makeup that i didnt want and hair came to $360. Oh and u pay for their parking ($20) even though across the street, the all day parking lot was $10. I know cuz i parked there for the morning bird special. Long story short, my now husband thought i looked beautiful that day and thats all that really mattered to me.

to hear that Jamie was able to provide you with what you were looking for in a second trial. Sometimes the trials do take a little longer than what is scheduled on the wedding day because your artist uses that time to make any changes necessary. You were only charged for the second makeup trial because you were ultimately unhappy with the first hair trial. There was no mention of you being unhappy with the first makeup trial. As stated in our communication with you in your initial quote, bridal service agreement and on your final schedule that was approved by you, all artists require a 5-6 application minimum. You were given 2 artists for 10 adult applications. After my review of your final schedule that you approved with no edits, Jamie was scheduled to do 2 adult makeup applications, your Bridal makeup, your Bridal hair and then another adult hair application. Your schedule reflected that you were not last in the lineup of services. We also complied with your request for your artist to relocate to another room (at no extra cost) for faux getting ready photos. In your final schedule, it was outlined that you received $10 off your hair and $10 off your makeup. Gratuity is not included in with our prices so it is completely up to your discretion on how much the artist deserved as a tip. We do ask that you reimburse the artist any parking fees. We also let you know that, in the bridal service agreement and your final schedule. If there was a specific place you would like for the artists to park, we feel that it would have been necessary for you to relay that information to them prior to the wedding day. We are happy to hear that your now husband was pleased with the outcome of what your artist provided. We wish you both blessings and love throughout your marriage. Best Wishes, EyeDo
