After the complimentary consultation call with Vicky, I went ahead and booked Refined Beauty team for my wedding on May 24, 2026. I highly recommend booking a hair and trial to figure out ahead of time what you would want to look like for your wedding day. Anitra was my makeup artist and Celeste was my hair artist. I also have Gabi as an extra hair and makeup artist for both the MOB and MOG. They were are all lovely people to work with and talented professional artists. My bridal hair and makeup lasted for 9 hours with minimal touching up. Same for my bridesmaids as well.

My bridal party and I had such an amazing experience with Vicky and Caroline for my wedding this past April! From start to finish, they were both incredibly attentive, professional, and truly listened to the exact styles and looks we wanted.
I started with Caroline for hair and brought my hair extensions along with a few inspiration photos for my bridal hairstyle. She absolutely made my vision come to life — my hair turned out even more beautiful than I imagined! Afterward, I went to Vicky for makeup and showed her the bridal glam look I was hoping for. She completely nailed it. I especially loved her attention to detail and how she was able to give me a full glam look without it feeling heavy or cakey. The makeup looked so natural, enhanced my features perfectly, and still felt completely like me.
After makeup, I went back to Caroline for a quick hair touch-up, and she even took the time to show my bridesmaids how to put on my veil without ruining my updo, which I really appreciated.
All of my bridesmaids absolutely loved their hair and makeup as well, and everyone had such a great experience with both Caroline and Vicky throughout the day. Between all of us bridesmaids, this was actually the third wedding we’ve been part of together, and we all agreed that these were the best hair and makeup services we’ve ever received! We were all so happy with the results and felt so beautiful and confident the entire day.
Not only are they both incredibly talented, but their prices are also very reasonable for the level of quality, service, and results they provide. They truly go above and beyond for their clients, and we honestly couldn’t have been happier with our experience.
They made us all feel so comfortable, taken care of, and truly brought everyone’s vision to life. We are so thankful for them and will definitely be booking them again in the future whenever we need hair and makeup services again! Highly recommend them to any bride looking for an amazing glam team!

Thats only because my skin tone is really hard to match and compliment AND my HAPA (Asian/white) eyes are also very hard to work with. Refined beauty assigned Kerry to be my stylist. Kerry came to my place for a trial and we vibed instantly. I felt as if she was my high school friend that was visiting me. This is HOW COMFORTABLE i was with her. I was able to communicate and tell her exactly what I wanted to go for. Fast forward to the big day, Kerry was at our venue early and was super accommodating. My overall look was even better than I expected and my hair (oh my gosh) looked straight out of a boho wedding magazine. I also had a small SHOULDER TATTOO (1 inch) that I wanted to cover up and she did a great job on that too. It did not show up on the photos :) My makeup and hair lasted the WHOLE NIGHT too! I was dancing and sweating and yet i still looked great! :) As much as I have glowing comments about Kerry, the whole Refined beauty team is just ABSOLUTELY amazing. Vikki responded to my emails immediately and trust me… I bothered her a lot because I had indecisive family members that couldn’t make up their minds to receive hair/makeup services. Vikki NEVER made me feel bad about changing my services and she was very sweet during the entire process. I never met her, but i bet she is a lovely person. Thank you Refined Beauty for making me feel like a Queen for a day. INSIDE AND OUT. I freaking love all of you.

I was very pleased with how the trial went, but I'm so glad I did the trial ahead of time because I did have some notes of small changes that I wanted to make for my wedding day. On the morning of my wedding day, I talked through the changes with both girls, and they knew exactly what I wanted and executed so perfectly! I was so happy with the way my hair and makeup turned out, and I wouldn't change anything about it!
There were 5 women getting hair and makeup done, and the day went so smoothly. Both hair and makeup stayed ahead of schedule the entire morning, and no part of the process was rushed at all. Every single person was so happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. Both Sarah and Zahraa did an amazing job of catering to each person's requests and personal styles, and everybody looked absolutely beautiful!
Also, Vicky was so easy to coordinate with during each step of the booking process, and she answered all of my questions along the way. She even provided a day-of schedule and order, which just made the process so seamless.
Overall, I was so happy with my experience and I would highly recommend Refined Beauty!!

With my hair, Dominique took my feedback since the trial, adjusting so I could love the final look even more. She also handled a tricky situation gracefully when one of my bridesmaids requested the same hairstyle as me, resolving it effortlessly without needing my input. Vicky was equally attentive with my makeup, answering my questions and even reapplying my lashes multiple times during the trial until they felt comfortable.
I loved how each one of my friends still looked like themselves, even with full, professional glam. Everyone’s styles were beautifully cohesive without any coordination on my part.
When researching vendors, it was important to me to find artists with proven experience working with Asian clients – and their Instagram provided both the expertise and examples I was seeking.

On the wedding day, they were both incredible to have around. Dom has such a calming presence, which helped ease my nerves, and Vicky is so genuine, kind, and easy to talk to—it felt like having another friend there while getting ready. That positive energy was exactly what I needed on such an important morning.
My hair and makeup turned out absolutely perfect. Everything stayed in place all day and night, even through dancing, photos, and happy tears. I felt so beautiful, but also still very much myself, which was exactly what I had hoped for. When I first inquired about Refined Beauty, I was in contact with Vicky. She was so professional, and the process to book Refined Beauty was so easy. The services they provided were listed out very clearly, and that was super helpful - especially while juggling other wedding elements.
During the process of planning, I shared a draft of my wedding day schedule with Vicky. She saw something that potentially could be a problem and helped me work through it. Because of her helpful advice, a major crisis was prevented - I'm super appreciative of that!
On the day of the wedding, Vicky and Jenny were punctual and efficient. They are both SO talented and were able to capture my vision PERFECTLY. Vicky did makeup for a couple of my bridesmaids as well - they both loved their makeup, too!
I would highly recommend them for any of your glam needs - wedding or anything else!! They will make you feel beautiful. ♥️

d makeup, my bridesmaids, sisters, mom, mother-in-law, and aunt. Everyone was done on time before the ceremony, everyone felt very comfortable, and we all looked amazing.
What I loved about them the most, is that they listened to everyone based on their comfort of getting their hair and makeup done. I had a few people who never wear makeup, and Vicky did beautiful subtle makeup to make them look photo ready without trying to look super glammed. Same with hair. They looked at our hair type and listened to what we normally do and from there made recommendations based off what they heard and saw. My hair and makeup lasted all day, and so did everyone else's.
Also, when comparing costs of other vendors, their prices were very competitive and worth every penny. I highly recommend Refined Beauty for your special day.

I definitely am so happy I picked Refined Beauty because I had no reason to be nervous! Kerry and Julee arrived on time, worked with the timeline and any last minute changes, and did an absolutely beautiful job on everyone's makeup! I know at least for myself, I still had a full face of makeup on at the end of the night and that was after dancing on the dance floor ALL night! edding day. It was definitley a no-brainer since I loved my hair and make up the first couple times and knew they would deliver. I heard a few horror stories from friends of other hair & makeup companies not showing up at all for their weddings, but I knew this wouldn't happen with Refined Beauty.
For my wedding I had Vicky, Wendy, and Karissa - all of them are so nice and are really able to do it all. I let my bridesmaids choose any hair and make up style they wanted and everyone came out looking amazing! My mom, MIL, and husband's sister also got services and they looked great! I love that they listen to what each person wants and helps bring the vision to life. I had a great experience during my hair and makeup trial as well, so I felt good going into my wedding day. My hair and make up lasted all day, but didn't feel heavy - which is important cause I don't usually do full face every day. We also had a change in our timeline, so our morning got pushed up from 8am to 6am(!!). I felt really bad, since it was only about a month out from our wedding date, but Vicky and her team were able to accommodate us and reassured that we would be able to finish on time. Highly recommend and definitely book in advance - they book quickly for good reason!

I was able to schedule two trials just cause I wanted to do a more of a glam look the second time around. My wedding was in Temecula, CA and the day was going to be warm and I knew I was going to cry a lot, but my makeup didn't budge at all! I was so surprised after crying so much my makeup still looked perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone else who is also looking for a hair and makeup team.

makeup trial, I had a few adjustments that I wanted made and Vicky was so accommodating and friendly. She took her time to ensure I was 100% happy with the outcome. About three months before our wedding, they kindly sent over the timeline for the day of. They were flexible with any adjustments I wanted to make and made it so much easier to plan for the day. On our wedding day, we had 10 total women in our group needing services, so I was worried we needed to start as early as 5AM. We started at 8AM, had a 1 hour gap as we switched locations, and finished with time to spare at 1:30PM. Let me just say, they made me feel SO beautiful. My makeup was perfect with just the right amount of glam to make me feel like a princess but without making me look unrecognizable. My hair was straight out of a movie (thank you Kerry). My girls were also super happy with Julee’s work. The team as a whole is amazing and super talented. I could not recommend them enough! If you’re looking for quality, friendliness, and speed, you found the right team!!

ith each other v. get separate vendors for hair and makeup. To that, they're definitely a well-oiled machine and work so well together. Also, this requires less vendors to add to your vendor list.
2) Beautiful work who fit within my budget. They have a wide arsenal of looks they can do. My mom and mother-in-law wanted more natural, minimal, and elegant looks and both Vicky and Jenny knew how to deliver. They both felt so beautiful. My bridesmaids and I wanted more full-glam and, of course, they knew how to make us glow. They knew how to enhance everyone's beauty.
3) They're active on social media: Super helpful so you can reference their work for trail and your wedding day looks. Also, to see if their style fits what you're looking for.
4) Communicative & Organized: From my initial inquiry emails to glamming our moms and bridal party, Vicky was super helpful, quick to respond, and answered ALL my questions. Unlike other H/MUAs, you can easily find their pricing on their website. This was a major green flag for me; doing this showed they don't want to waste anyone's time and I'm ALL about that! To that, they even prepared a day-of timeline for their services that helped me figure out the timeline for the rest of the wedding day.
5) Professional & Sweet: Both Vicky and Jenny are so easy to work with. Once I met them for my trial, conversations were easy-going, they're kind, gracious, and just genuinely excited for you and your wedding party. They listened to any feedback and happily made adjustments (although, I didn't need much to adjust since they're both experts in their crafts).
I am BEYOND happy that I was able to book them for my wedding. All the women they worked on looked to beautiful and felt comfortable in their glam up. I was stressed about finding a good HMUA, but Refined Beauty melted that all away. I knew a could trust them and they definitely delivered! Thank you, Vicky & Jenny!!! <3

I was also concerned with getting 11 people through in a timely manner, but Vicky created a schedule that made the flow of the morning so easy. I could not be happier with the incredible job that Vicky and her team did. They were also both on time and stayed on schedule the entire time. Their prices were fair and competitive, especially considering what a good job they did. They made everyone feel so naturally beautiful, I can’t thank them enough. Not only are they true artists – they were such a pleasure to be around, both were super friendly and funny as we chatted during our getting ready time. I was booked with Kristin for hair and Khloe for makeup and both were incredible. Kristin is literally a hair genius and Khloe is a makeup master! I was really worried about my hair staying all day but it didn't move an inch. And for my makeup, I decided to change it day of and as soon as Khloe handed me the mirror after, I was in tears, everything was so perfect. Thank you all so much ladies!!!
