Chelsea is such a great photographer! I love all the pictures from our wedding and I couldn’t be happier with my choice to go with her. She made taking the photos fun, but also kept the wedding party in line. She is great to work with.

Stunning photos, but that was to be expected from this photographer! More importantly she provided additional services such as managing family circumstances and additional needs given uncontrollable situations. Posed and professional while also making everyone feel comfortable. Great photographer and an even better person!

Chelsea is an incredible photographer and person - her personality makes her so fun and easy to work with and it shows in her pictures. Chelsea is absolutely incredible! First off she is so friendly and kind! Second she makes your wedding day seem seamless! She is the perfect amount of laid back and serious to make you feel comfortable and produce the most beautiful photos! She handled our families as if her own and truly cared about all the details of our day! At our engagement photos Chelsea made my husband feel completely at ease and made him actually enjoy taking photos together - which is a hard task because what males really love engagement photos? Loved working with Chelsea!! My husband and I had both an engagement photo session and also our wedding photos. She is so fun and easy to work with-definitely a breath of fresh air on such a busy whirlwind of a day. She took the guesswork out of it and was a huge help in picking our first look location and locations for photos before our ceremony. They not only turned out beautifully, but we were able to enjoy the reception and fun rather than spending so much time afterwards rushing through pictures. We had nearly 800 wedding photos to choose from (way more than I expected to receive!) which gives us plenty of options for our album, family holiday gifts, and personal photos for our home. She made sure to get a great mix of artistic photos and candids along with the more posed photos of our families as well. Chelsea did our wedding in May 2017 and truly helped make our day as amazing as it was. She has such a great personality, so she was a ton of fun to be around while she was shooting the bridal party getting ready. Once we got to the venue (about an hour before it started), Chelsea gathered and organized Bride and Groom family pictures ensuring that my husband and I never crossed paths. We had very limited time between wedding and reception, and I was nervous that we would not be able to complete all of the group pictures needed (wedding party, families combined, and just my husband and I). Chelsea is so organized, has a fun personality to keep everyone in check for pictures while making it a good time, and captured everything I wanted even while working on a short timeline. She even broke off and got my husband's family pictures before the wedding which was something I thought we had no time for. I can't thank her enough for everything she did to capture all of the big moments on our day!! I HIGHLY recommend her. Great investment to capture a once in a lifetime day. :)

I can not say enough good things about Chelsea and Shawn! They were AMAZING! We did an engagement session with Chelsea which was great and really let us get to know one another. On the day of the wedding they felt more like our friends than photographers. These two really know what they are doing too, they just flowed throughout the whole day. We absolutely LOVE our engagement and wedding photos from Reflectivity! Chelsea loves what she does and it shows in every beautiful and amazing photo she takes. Chelsea has done our wedding and family photos . Each and every time, I'm so impressed with her skills! She is so so incredibly patient with our kids! Even when my two year old didn't want to smile/cooperate the photos came out so great!

It’s really quite simple: Chelsea loves what she does and it shows in her photography, both in artistic and technical ways. She has an eye for natural light, subtle emotion and candid moments. I knew finding a wedding photographer would be a tall task. I was marrying a photographer and he managed to find something he didn’t like in every portfolio I showed him. But that changed when I brought up Chelsea’s work. After looking over a few photographs, he said, “Yup, she gets it.” Chelsea’s personality mirrors her photographs. She was natural and comfortable to work with and politely handled all of the stress that goes into planning a wedding, and all of the hectic last-minute changes on the big day. We were especially impressed with her willingness to travel to Traverse City for our wedding and then drive back and forth between three locations to photograph our different bridal parties. One of our hopes for our wedding was that the cherry blossoms would be in bloom for our wedding – we weren’t that optimistic since they unpredictably only bloom once a year. But we couldn’t have been more excited when they did bloom for the wedding and Chelsea was able to photograph us with them. And she perfectly captured the delicate and romantic theme. It’s one of the most special memories we have from that day.

My husband and I highly recommend Chelsea and Shawn! I had stood up in two weddings that they shot and had no question who I wanted to photograph my wedding. With this being a 2nd wedding for both of us, we wanted to keep things simple and not make it a big deal - just a very special fun, sacred and fun celebration. However, photography was something we didn't want to downplay - it was very important to capture and preserve our day for generations to come. I struggled a bit with the decision because, of all the expenses, this isn't a small one. But I can tell you, working with Chelsea, I completely understand the cost AND boy, does she ever earn every penny! I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone, in any service role, work harder than she did that entire day and evening. And somehow she managed to work her butt off in the most discreet way as we hardly noticed her unless we wanted to! Her eye & artistry are beyond compare, her demeanor the perfect balance of sweet and in-control, and her deliverable beyond our expectation. Simply breathtaking. Stop searching. Reflectivity was truly amazing. Chelsea shot our engagement pictures and she and her husband Shawn were our wedding photographers. I did not have a lot of ideas about specific poses and shots that I wanted but Chelsea and Shawn were so creative and helpful! They put a sneak peek up on Facebook the next day which was so fun to see. Their fun, relatable personalities made the whole day feel more relaxed. Chelsea and Shawn are the best! They shot my wedding this year at Waldenwoods Resort in September. The pictures were phenomenal; they were more beautiful then I could ever imagine! They even set up a computer slideshow on the night of the wedding to "preview" all the pictures taken through the evening! I was so impressed. When my husband and I decided on a destination wedding in St. Lucia, Reflectivity was our obvious choice to capture our special moments. Chelsea and Shawn are the perfect photographers to take with you to your destination because they have tons of travel experience. Chelsea also owns her own travel company, Reflective Escapes. Not only did they capture our wedding day to perfection, Chelsea also helped with the travel plans for our entire wedding group! With her connections, our group received extras we otherwise would not have. Talk about an added bonus! It was such a relief to entrust Chelsea and Shawn with the photography and travel plans. The normal stress many couples endure during the wedding planning process was not felt by us! We were able to focus on the love we have for each other and enjoy the journey to "I do." As we look back at our photos, we are immediately taken back to that moment and all the emotions we felt. The day goes by in a flash and to be able to look at a picture and be back in that moment is priceless. With only a handful of guests attending our destination wedding, our choice of photographer was of utmost importance. Photography is one of those things I've always felt reluctant about. I don't consider myself that photogenic and I am super critical of how I look in pictures. And my husband is the same way.. which is why we have so few photos of us together! So, you can imagine how huge a deal it was to receive the most beautiful photos from our engagement session and wedding day. Chelsea and Shawn were absolutely wonderful to work with. They met us for coffee early in the process to get to know us and to tell us about their services. Hiring them was probably one of the easiest, least stressful decisions in all of our planning. When searching on the Knot for photographers for my daughter's wedding I came across a mission statement on a photographers website that I simple loved. That photographer was Chelsea of Reflectivity. I contacted Chelsea and long story short my daughter and I meet with Chelsea. At the meeting we felt such a strong connection with Chelsea; she was so sweet and professional. When we left from meeting with Chelsea my daughter and I were like school girls all giddy and happy that we found her photographer. In fact that night we were to meet another photographer right after our appointment with Chelsea. We still felt obligated to meet with the other photographer but the whole time my daughter and I were 100% sure we were choosing Cheslea. My daughter's wedding was on Saturday, October 11th, 2014 and we couldn't of had a more beautiful day and what made it even more special and beautiful was knowing we had an amazing team of photographers in Chelsea and her husband Shawn. My husband and I used reflectivity for our wedding and engagement photos. I did not hire a videographer so my wedding photos were important because they are all I will have to look back on our day. Well we haven't seen the full spread of photos yet but the sneak peek was already awesome! I loved working with Chelsea! I knew she would do a great job because she did the photos for my best friends wedding way back when she was just getting started! My entire wedding experience went by in a flash, I hardly remember eating a french fry on my wedding day much less being able to take a moment to breathe and relax during my wedding planning, Leading up to my engagement photos I had zero time to prep for our engagement photos and I definitely felt scattered and nervous going into the photo session. I wanted it to look beautiful and represent the amazing relationship I have been blessed to have, but a month out from my wedding date I felt more frazzled than beautiful.
