This past spring I had the pleasure of working with Ted at Reflex Letterpress when I was designing the save the date and invitation suite for my sister’s wedding. Ted was an amazing resource throughout the process. I met with Ted in his super cool studio in Charlestown to discuss my ideas for the save the date design. I knew I wanted to do letterpress, and I had a clear idea of what I wanted for the design but was unclear on how to execute. Ted provided a great variety of samples and examples, and had excellent suggestions. He was able to accommodate my tight deadline, and delivered a beautiful result! I was so happy to work with him again on the full invitation suite. Again, Ted had a consultation with me on the design, and provided excellent guidance on how to execute it. He also recommended another printer he works with who was able to do the variable printing for all of the envelopes in the suite. The full printed suite absolutely exceeded my expectations and the bride was overwhelmed with compliments on the save the date and invitations after the were delivered. Ted is kind, funny, super helpful, and provides a beautiful and memorable result. I would be happy to work with him again!

Ted is awesome! I've worked with him to letterpress my save the dates and my entire wedding invitation suite, and the experience has been wonderful. Ted is so knowledgeable about every aspect of letterpressing and different types of paper. He's very patient, super responsive to email, and easy to work with.

bespoke invitations and announcements without the bespoke price. I've worked with Ted on several pieces concerning my children (birth announcements and baptism invitations) for a frame-worthy, lovely keepsake that was beyond classic. He's super in every way, and imminently flexible on the birth announcements since that was a moving target on kid details! highly recommend.

Ted is super knowledgable in not only the letter press process but also all the history behind it. During our consultation and DIY sessions he always provide great suggestions and guidance. So much so that we basically became an automated assembly line. Our wedding invitations turned out great and we really enjoyed running the press ourselves!

Ted helped us to print our ketubah - what an incredible collaborator and teacher. We brought in some original prints we wanted to use and Ted was totally on board with helping us achieve our vision! He’s a kind teacher with a wealth of knowledge and patience, and is willing to provide as much support or freedom as you want depending on your comfort level. Ted is the best!

I had an amazing experience working with Ted at Reflex Letterpress and has quickly become one of my favorite vendors I've worked with so far in the wedding planning process. He is extremely responsive and quick to help with making edits, adjustments, or recommendations to ensure the final product turns out exactly the way you want it. We worked with Ted virtually, communicating mostly through email, but thought the entire process went very smoothly. You can also tell Ted is very passionate about his work :) I would highly recommend his services!

Ted at Reflex Letterpress was great with communication from start to finish, any design changes that my wife and I made he was very quick to respond. Also we had the opportunity to got to his shop to mix ink, set up the printing press and printing our wedding invitations. We would highly recommend Reflex Letterpress

Working with letterpress invitations and Ted was excellent! I wanted to have a more personal letterpressed invitation that I designed and found out about reflex letterpress and reached out. I didn’t know too much about the details of letterpress printing and Ted walked me through the steps in his beautiful studio - and gave me the option to be involved as much as I wanted to! They came out perfectly in the end in such timely fashion- and Ted was always extremely good at communication throughout. The price was also extremely reasonable, and I feel like usually wedding invitations are very marked up. Cannot recommend enough!

My (now) wife and I spent two days in Ted's studio creating letterpress invitations and maps for our wedding. From the initial email reach out, through the literal handholding as he demonstrated how to use the letterpress machine, Ted was extremely helpful in all aspects of the design and we could not be happier with our experience working with him. The invitations and maps turned out beautifully and were real pieces of art that had all of our guests chitter chattering about them. We can not recommend Reflex enough for all of your wedding paper product needs.
