My one true splurge for the wedding was that I wanted to take a horse and carriage to highlight my Disney princess theme. Originally we looked into a horse and carriage last year a...
nd because they can only drive about a mile, it couldn’t be used for actual transport so I couldn’t justify the price. However, then we bought our house within that distance of our ceremony. When I called back the initial companies a few months later, they had doubled in price. And then I found Regal Carriage and took a chance.
Regal Carriage is owned by a husband and wife - I primarily dealt with the wife Karolina. She was detailed in her communications and offered her Cinderella carriage with one horse similar to the initial quotes I got and had a 2 hour set while the other more expensive companies would only agree to a 1 hour set. We went with Regal because of their pricing plus their set time because I wanted to arrive to the church in the carriage, have the horse and carriage wait during the ceremony, and then have a big reveal when everyone exited the church to see the carriage. The horse and carriage would then take us home. This wouldn’t have been possible with only an hour set. So I rolled the dice and booked Regal.
Regal exceeded all my expectations the day of my wedding. My ceremony was 3:15 so they were set to arrive at 2pm for a 30 min setup, which would give us a 2 hour set from 2:30-4:30. We expected our ceremony to be over before 4. Their horse Jackson arrived even earlier the day of, around 1:15. And then the carriage arrived shortly thereafter. Karolina came, dressed in a riding suit, along with her husband and another horse handler. I can’t recommend Karolina enough. She made my Cinderella dreams come true! She worked seamlessly with us day of. She even held my water and made sure I kept drinking in the heat! She placed my feet on the carriage steps so I could maneuver in a large ballgown and spike heels. We did some posed photos of me in the carriage and then took the carriage about a block for a video exit. While we waited to make our way to the church, they made sure we all waited in the shade. The horse handler walked the route in front of us to ensure the horse’s and our safety. The horse and carriage definitely had the surprise effect for the guests as I somehow managed to keep it a secret. My new husband and I rode the carriage back to our house before the end of the set.
I was immensely pleased with Karolina’s professionalism and would highly recommend Regal Carriage for your princess moment!

I would definitely suggest this to anyone looking for a little extra magic on their special day ! Diesel our Horse was the sweetest! Already planning to use their services for my summer 2021 Wedding !! CANT WAIT =)

“Im really not sure how to respond to your email. This scenario spells dangerous situation right away. My horses on average weigh about 2,200 lb to 2,500 lb each, they are over 6 feet tall at the shoulder they are draft horses like the Budweiser Clydesdales. horse are very smart animals that can sense people if there handler (person riding them and holding them) is uncomfortable/ afraid of them. Since you are not familiar with them or how they might react this might become dangerous very quickly. I have seen many people when one of my horses is attached to a carriage come up to it, and when the horse moves they freak out. Have you considered any of these scenarios?? Or do you think its that easy to handle a horse?? The safest place for you is to be in the carriage and let the people that deal with the horses on a daily basis take care of the horse. You are there to enjoy your wedding and not be thinking about how to keep yourself safe at a venue. I do not and will not drug my horses, there are others that will, to make a quick buck, but even that can be dangerous. A novice rider with and unfamiliar horse in an open area (not even an enclosed paddock) = UNSAFE There are many videos that you can google that show horses taking off with the groom, and running away. Our company practices safety first.. what you are proposing is just not safe... We can provide a horse and carriage for the baraat. Karolina”
