Reiman Gardens was an absolutely gorgeous place to have our wedding and rehearsal dinner! I worked with Emory and Saylor throughout planning my wedding, and they were both helpful ...
and responsive. We were not able to use our original ceremony site at Reiman because it had rained in the morning and the ground was still wet, so I pivoted and chose a new spot a few hours before the ceremony, and the staff set up the new location with no problem. And at the reception, we got so many compliments about what a beautiful place we'd chosen for our wedding.
Do be aware that Reiman is open until 6, so there might be other people there besides your guests, but I knew that ahead of time and it wasn't a problem for us. No one disrupted the ceremony and people gave us plenty of space to take photos.
You can also have your rehearsal dinner at Reiman and get a discount for booking multiple events, so it was a very affordable place to host our rehearsal dinner. And it was super convenient to have both events at the same venue!
Overall, we are SO glad that we chose Reiman as our venue and couldn't have asked for a better weekend!
Beautiful locations to chose from for both ceremony and reception. It poured rain on our wedding day and the events team was so accommodating and helpful in figuring out alternate...
plans on a dime! Everything turned out beautifully! Highly recommend!
Reiman Gardens could not have been a more perfect venue for our wedding. Everything at this venue is beautiful and we didn't have to bring in very many decorations to get the look ...
we wanted for our wedding. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed having the wedding here. Also, the event coordinator, Renee, was so easy to work with and very helpful.
They've had a new wedding coordinator for about a year now, and Renee is great! 120 person wedding reception in the garden room was awesome. They were flexible with bringing thing...
s in that day, using the kitchen, etc. Just a heads up... It's an ISU space so no smoking on the site, have to go to the football stadium parking lot to smoke which was inconvenient for some guests but not a big deal.
Reiman Gardens is absolutely gorgeous...for very specific weddings. The rose gardens are gorgeous, however, this venue comes as a package with not much room for customization. If y...
ou simply want to host a reception here, you will find yourself paying the ceremony fee regardless. Also, the indoor space is somewhat limited. If you want to host 40 or 150 you will be fine, but anything other than that and you will find yourself in a pickle. I am sure some couples have had perfect weddings here, but for us, it just didnt have the flexibility we needed.
While the gardens are very beautiful and well taken care of, I would advise anyone planning a wedding here to reconsider. The staff has their own agenda as far as weather they like...
you and feel they need to impose fees on you not in your contract. After our wedding, we were threatened with charges as well as harassment by head staff for disputing "made up" fines against us. The wedding was perfect but the after math was anything but. If you'd like more details feel free to contact me.
Our wedding was in the rose garden but there are other places you can have your wedding in this facility. The rose garden was the perfect location for us. One thing I wish would ha...
ve been different is the trees at the end of each the rose beds. They blocked the view for some of our guest.
