Rein Fire Ranch is a rustic wedding venue located in Ravensdale, WA. Just 45 minutes east of Seattle and Tacoma, this lush 40-acre farm offers a secluded paradise outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Owners and husbands Rich Kaalaas and George Delmar bought the property in 2001 when it was still a working horse ranch. In 2012, they converted it into a chic wedding and event space that welcomes couples to tie the knot in a rural and intimate setting. With more than 25 years in event planning, Rich and George are excited to use their expertise to curate your beautiful and tasteful celebration.

Nestled among the meadows and forests of the Sugarloaf Mountain Valley, Rein Fire Ranch offers a spectacular location in which to say I do. In the gardens, you will find a beautiful and serene outdoor ceremony site, where an Autumn Blaze maple tree heads up a stone aisle. At the end of this walkway, you can say your vows underneath the ceremony pavilion, which can be draped in billowing white lace. Hold your reception in the nearby barn, which comfortably seats 200 guests and offers a large dance floor, state-of-the-art acoustics, and beautiful up-lighting. The grounds also feature a fire pit that the staff will supply with wood and an elegant outdoor cabana bar. You can add a s’more service to the fire pit and enjoy cocktails late into the evening at the vintage-accented bar.
Rein Fire Ranch’s all-inclusive wedding packages come with three planning meetings, a one-hour rehearsal, 12 hours of event time, and an engagement photoshoot. Banquet tables and chairs are included in your rental, and the venue has a long list of recommended vendors for catering, flowers, entertainment, and more. This property also offers unique and fun add-ons that will make your wedding an unforgettable experience. These include a mobile mule bar featuring Petunia the mule, wagon rides, an ice cream cart, lawn games, and an in-house DJ and officiant. You can also purchase antique-inspired décor that includes calligraphed signs, wrought-iron lanterns, wood-banded trunks, mismatched glass vases, and rusted mailboxes to create a sophisticated ambiance. The staff will go above and beyond to answer any questions, help with any details, and ensure your special occasion is a night to remember.

ning extraordinaire, made the simplest most straight forward packet for us to create our vision as a team. He asked questions and got our thoughts even about things we didn't know we needed to think about. Then George came in and created a plan for DJ services and was live DJing the entire evening for us. The bartenders were great and immediately made sure all of our family and friends had what they needed including us. We didn't have to think about a thing the entire day and that is really due to Rich and George planning with us at the planning meetings we had prior to our wedding. Everything there is so clean and well maintained, and nothing feels out of place. Rich was there every step of the way, handling and coordinating so much that we didn't have to worry about anything on the day of (which was our goal in the first place). And George, he handled all of the music and timing, and kept everything on track.
We both wish we could express how much it meant to have the both of them and the RFR staff working so closely with us for our perfect day and that is exactly what it ended up being. Perfect.

From the beautiful drive out there, to the beautiful quite lush green mountains there is nothing but peace. You get out and there's silence, just beautiful scenery.
The venue was stunning and Rich was so warm and inviting, there was no hesitation we found our venue.
We had just over a year of planning to do and Rich was very communitive throughout process. If we had any questions we'd hear back from him within 48hrs. We met with Rich and George three times throughout the planning process, they were able to really help me form my vison.
One thing we were super happy about is they knew exactly what they were doing! This wasn't their first rodeo and knew what would work, how and why. They really worked with our ideas and made it perfect. Rich was very on the ball and I couldn't have been happier to have my wedding in his hands. I never had to worry if something was going to work or not because Rich had it!
As for the venue it's self, it's truly beautiful. The bridal sweet was big and bright, with great lighting and wood accents. There was a perfect place to do hair and make-up. The men's quarters was also perfect, with a mini fridge, couch and pool table it made for a great chill spot. The reception barn was well light and decorated!
The day of went smooth thanks to Rich and George.

The staff ensured that everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. We opted for many of the add on packages/decor and the options to choose from is unbelievable. Without Rich and George our wedding day would not have been possible. Rich officiated our ceremony and George was our DJ - they both did an outstanding job from the planning to the execution. a more stunning backdrop for your wedding day. It was incredibly relaxing to arrive in the morning, get ready onsite and not have to worry about getting people from place to place. Being out in the hills with so much space and open air, it was hard to feel stressed about anything. There is a reason this won Best Wedding Venue, because they truly do have it all. But the place alone was not the only selling point here, the owners were incredibly friendly throughout the entire planning process and always very responsive – I don’t think Rich would let anything other than an amazing wedding happen on his property, he was so reassuring and helpful. Our package included not only the day-of rental with all the tables & chairs, but an incredible list of suggested (not required!) vendors who were all familiar with the venue, time to shoot an engagement photo session on the property and multiple visits to nail down our planning. I could not recommend this place and the amazing people who run it enough – if you want that stunning outdoor and low-stress wedding, this is the place to do it!
