minute adjustments and move the wedding indoors because of the weather and everything was beautiful. The tables were decorated beautifully. The food was great and we had several guest compliment us on our selection. We have eaten at Ms. Sandra's restaurant next to the venue several times and have never been disappointed and our catered meal was no exception. The only issue we had was the bartender that was provided for the dance portion of the wedding. I don't know how long they have been bartending if any but we had 3 different wines, white, a sweet red, and a red blend. The guests didn't know we had 2 different reds because the bartender didn't look at what was provided and served all the sweet first. She also was using the champagne flutes to serve the wine and what ever other drinks the guests requested so we didn't have any flutes left for serving the champagne and had to use the wine cups for that. Overall, the cost of the venue was VERY affordable for all the benefits we received and the staff and hostess were very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend this for your wedding or any special event that needs a large facility. I loved the rustic decor which fit right into our wedding theme. paid for I guess. The second meeting I had with the owner she kept making comments about “Mexicans being late” after I told her half of my family is Hispanic. We’re Guatemalan… so not the same thing as Mexican. I have PTSD from my time in the military which causes a lot of memory loss so if we had phone conversations I had no proof of anything which is how she was able to charge me extra to open my bar early. I gave her my binder with my timeline day of and she said she didn’t need it but because she didn’t have it she rushed us into things that we ended up an hour ahead of schedule. She tried to place a note inside the bridal suite saying we needed to have everything out and cleaned by 8:30 when my party didn’t even end until 10. You want me to leave my own party to clean up and get stuff out???? This note was placed randomly sometime that day because it sure wasn’t there that morning and it was never communicated to me. A bridesmaid found it. She also never gave me any restrictions on music so I played music I liked to dance to and she told my DJ he can’t play that even though it was no where in the contract and then came up to me and said it’s to “respect the venue” which I wouldn’t have had an issue with if it had been communicated way before my wedding and not in the middle of the party… So don’t book this place if you want to play your own music. But since we knew she had such a problem with “Mexicans” we went ahead and played some of the most vulgar music we could in Spanish so we could still enjoy our night without her bothering us about it. She kept cleaning things up and packing things away and even turning off candles 3 hours before we were ever done like we didn’t have until midnight to do all that? I also wanted a very simple cake and she kept trying to add more stuff to it no matter how many times my bridal party said no. Eventually she stopped but she wants to just do whatever she wants on your wedding day and not what you want. Like I said, you get what you pay for. You pay for a cheap venue, you get cheap service. Not to mention the number of guests who came up to me asking me who she is because she was being so rude. Unless you’re cool with someone else being in control and constantly telling you no about your own wedding, you should probably look at a venue elsewhere.

great, the people are great. Shes very reasonably priced and has a great decoratooing package. My wedding was beautiful. She even helped tell us when to walk as I didnt have a planner. My day was so perfect. Yes, Overall I did have a few hiccups, but what wedding isnt.

h a group of 7 people). The venue doesn’t look like the pictures at all. It looks like a very old rustic venue. We toured the bridal suite that was “Still in construction” it was literally this trailer standing on cement blocks. The floor boards felt like you could fall at any second. Keep in mind this trailer is literally RIGHT NEXT TO the outside ceremony wooded arch they built outside. It’s not the best site to have when getting married. Then we went to view the grooms room. You could maybe fit 3 - 5 people in there semi comfortably. Not that much room to hang out in majority of the morning. Then we went to the “Honeymoon suite” and to be honest it’s very cute on the outside but scary looking on the inside. The decorations are very out to date. When we went to tour the inside of the event center, on the website it says they can fit up to 250 people. What they don’t tell you is they could only sit around 150 people and you have to rent out your own tables and chairs for the rest of your guests. The pictures looks like you could fit a good amount of people and in person it’s very different. Not the best customer service. The saying goes “you pay what you get for” and this definitely describes that.

and asks you to pay for things you’ve already paid for. I would just have to send her a picture of my receipt (like chairs and the remaining balance of the venue). The place itself is old but all the spider webs could’ve been wiped down. Also, wasps/dirt dobbers were EVERYWHERE the day of our wedding, my hair stylist got stung by one inside the bridal suite. They kept getting inside because the place has holes and cracks. Super inconvenient. Lastly, for the trash deposit she requires- she was very nitpicky after our wedding. Be careful! Overall I loved my wedding. Just want to be honest!

Not to mention that we had our food catered from the relay station restaurant and it was so delicious we had steaks and potatoes they cook on the grill outside and everything was cooked perfectly. we arrived for the wedding, she picked up all the hand towels in the bridal suite and told us we should have brought hand wipes because we cant use the towels, there were bags of trash on the side of the building from a prior event, food stuck to the tables, AND 2 of 3 ac units DID NOT WORK. All of this information was given to use the morning of. She also informed us that she blew a breaker 2 weeks prior and it wasn't fixed yet. So the caterers had a hard time cooking because only 1 outlet at a time was available or the breaker would trip again. The patio lights did not work either. We were told to totally clean up, mopping the floors included and actually taking the trash to the dumpster because they would not (obviously as there was trash left when we arrived). There were piles of rocks left on the patio from the new construction and the grass wasn't even mowed down well. If all of this wasn't bad enough, the owner is just flat out RUDE. I don't know how she has even continued to stay in business. Good luck if you use them!

inished before our wedding, then the owner of the venue blows up me and my finances phone the day of the wedding wanting us to change our entire ceremony and pay to use her new pagoda. The hall is very rustic and nice but one wall seems to be unfinished. The air conditioning is horrible. It was cooler inside than outside. There was a snake in the women's restroom and no paper towels in the men's room.
