Reliable Rentals

I highly recommend that you do NOT use Reliable Rentals if you have the choice. My wedding was in May, but I chose to wait a few months to calm down so that I could write a fair and honest review. I had so many issues with Reliable Rentals but none were more frustrating than their complete and total lack of communication. I rented a tent, chairs, tables, and linens for my wedding. I set everything up with Melissa, a manager, a few months prior. Although I was promised my rentals would be delivered during the workday on the day before my wedding, they weren’t delivered until 9:30pm the night before my wedding. I was in touch with them throughout the day and they consistently assured me that my delivery was about to be on its way when it obviously wasn’t. This caused me immense stress and led to me missing my rehearsal dinner since I was waiting for the delivery. Further, I had to change the entire layout of my wedding at 10pm the night before because Melissa ordered the wrong size tent even though I gave her pictures and dimensions. The delivery wasn’t completed until 3am the morning of my wedding and nothing was set up as promised- all of the white chairs were muddy from being placed on their side in the grass. They also didn’t pick up the rentals until a full day after the contracted date with absolutely no communication. Not only did using this company cause me unprecedented stress on my wedding day, their lack of professionalism and blatant deceitfulness caused me to miss my rehearsal dinner. I originally asked for a full refund, which they refused, but even that would not have made up the stress I experienced and the things I missed due to their lack of communication. I received a check for a partial refund a few weeks after my wedding, but they failed to communicate with me throughout that process as well. I would never want another bride or business to experience this and so that is why I highly recommend that you do NOT use this company.

I had a pleasant experience with Reliable Rentals. They were the only approved vendor for Whitehall so I may or may not have chosen a different vendor had I had the option. I worked with Rachel who was very accommodating. We made constant changes to my list of items up until the day before the wedding. However, when I visited the showroom I fell in love the rosewood forks they had, and so did my mother-in-law. The ones we received at the wedding were not them, although Rachel assured me they were. My mother-in-law also agreed that they weren't the right forks. The day before the wedding, we added fans to our list (though they were never offered) because June 26th, 2016 was an outrageously hot day. Had I known the price of the fans beforehand, I probably would have brought some from home. Rachel was nice enough to waive the fee of the fans. Though my final quote was not what I had planned in my budget, I didn't really have much of a choice. It still worked out!

The weather got chilly and these guys came through 2 days before the wedding with a great deal on a tent with excellent heat and lighting. Awesome help the day-of, as well.

I personally interacted with Emily at this location. She emailed me pictures of items I asked for since I was not able to make it out there and that really helped. When I forgot a unity candle stand she added it to my other order, no problem and when I asked to pick up the stuff a day early that was no problem either. It really helped my stress level having one thing taken care of so well. Thanks!

Honestly this rental company had the best prices and were the most willing to work with you out of any of the companies we called. They let us change our order a few days before the event. The day of my wedding I didn't have to answer any questions, they knew just what to do and did it!

Reliable Rentals is very customer service oriented and is a full service company. They answered every little question and concern that I had through out the planning of the wedding up to the day of the wedding. They made sure that everything was perfect from tent rental to silverware! They make you feel confident in their service and ease your mind that all will go well!

With a name like Reliable, you expect reliability. However, I had three cases of miscommunication - two minor and one MAJOR. Otherwise, they were a complete dream to work with. They offer decently competitive pricing - which is good for your budget - and had friendly, knowledgeable staff. I did not feel pressured into renting unnecessary things, either. The first woman I dealt with made some suggestions and asked questions to make sure all the bases were covered, but it was very clear that she would go with whatever I wanted. No pressure whatsoever. Any of the staff can help you arrange for tables, chairs, linens, etc. and there is a good selection of items. However, if you need a tent, you can only deal with one guy. This becomes a problem if this one guy is - for any reason - unavailable. You then simply have to WAIT for him to return. This was an issue as I live out of town and had arranged to meet up with him just before the holidays. I arrived at my parents' house early and shot him an email to see what time we would meet. I didn't hear from him by the first day he'd told me he was available, so I phoned the company the next day (the last day he told me he was available) and they told me he wouldn't be back till MID-JANUARY! It was early December. HE had specified the days to meet up and had given no indication that he would be gone that long, despite the fact that he apparently does this every year. I arranged for someone else to meet with him later. They met at the venue and went over everything - my friend was very impressed with his professionalism, understanding, and wedding savvy. He appeared to be very concerned with making sure everything was *perfect*. This positive experience renewed my confidence. There was a slight hiccup in confirming the delivery time. Had I NOT confirmed the time the week prior to the wedding, there's a chance our stuff may have accidentally gotten delivered when the ceremony was due to start - not before. This is the whole reason we confirm these things, though! So it turned out ok. The delivery guys were there on time and brought the tables, chairs, and tent and set it all up perfectly. However, there were no linens. No napkins, no tablecloths, nothing. My groom, father, and mother hashed it out with him. I was told the guy basically shrugged and said there must have been a mistake and left. Since it was a Sunday, the building was locked and he couldn't get the stuff. No one contacted me (the bride) about this, which was a mistake on our part.. but I was SEVERELY disappointed that the order was not thoroughly checked and verified when being loaded onto the truck. Finally, my friend had been told at her meeting that a company representative would be at the wedding the *whole* time just in case anything went wrong (particularly with the tent). No one was there. We assume this is because we had to downgrade tents, but we were never informed that meant we would no longer have a company rep there. I spoke with the P.O.C. soon after the wedding and he seemed genuinely grievous that the delivery had gotten screwed up. I received a refund for the linens, plus a little extra, which satisfied me. I honestly believe this may have been an entirely fluke experience.. which is why I'm giving them 3 stars. The disappointment is still there, though... no bride counting on linens is entirely satisfied with white plastic table covers from Family Dollar - even though they looked ok.

I only rented a table from them but they were very helpful and professional. I loved everything they had to offer in store but already had my decorations.

I can't say I LOVED this company, but we are talking about rentals here. All the products were clean and on time. Tent was set up 2 days ahead so we could decorate. Overall, they were easy to work with and get in contact with. We did have a ton of changes since the first meeting.

They were horrible. They never seemed to know what was going on and they were rude. I had been told when we first met that closer to the wedding we would meet with the owner because our wedding was going to involve a tent and was at Whitehall but when I called to set up a time to meet I was literally laughed at, by Victoria, but she went ahead and set up a meeting time anyway, which our caterer later told us the owner would not be available for, so she arranged for us to met with someone else who was standing in for the owner and Victoria still seemed not to understand. It was so frustrating. We would not have used them if it was not required by whitehall.

The were very accomodating when I needed a cake stand at the last minute. They delivered it and were very curteous. I will use them in the future.

Reliable Rentals has a wide variety of items you can rent at a very reasonable price. We had a garden wedding and their staff was very helpful in providing suggestions on how to lay out the tent and what items may be needed for the event. When planning, their staff also kept in mind how to create an elegance in the venue. They were also helpful with simulating a tent lay out for us.

This company did great sitting up and taking down all my stuff. (Tent, chairs, tables) And the tent was so pretty. It really added made for great pictures.
