Lacey with Relish Catering helped us for all our catering needs for our September wedding on Johns Island. She was so friendly to work with. From the passed hors d’oeuvres to our buffet dinner, the food was amazing!! And at a very fair price point. I would recommend for any brides looking for a caterer for their special day!! So happy Relish did my wedding. Got married at Old Wide Awake Plantation. Food was amazing. I received so many compliments. Lacy Davidson was my day of coordinator. I HIGHLY recommend her. She was incredible. Went above and beyond to make my day beautiful. She was organized, on top of things, dedicated, kind, 10 places at once, open to my vision, flexible, very knowledgeable, good resource for other vendors etc. I can't say enough about Lacy, she did such a good job it brings me to tears. She has so much experience combined with an amazing personality and a gift for all things wedding. Everything was perfect :) I highly recommend Lacy Davidson and Relish Catering.

Everyone absolutely loved the food from Relish at our wedding. From the passed apps to the dinner and dessert, everything was delicious. Lacy was a pleasure to work with, especially with all of my questions and constant updates and last minute changes. I highly recommend using Relish as a caterer for any event. Had we not already booked a planner, we would’ve loved to have Lacy help us with that, too! We had the Little Italy buffet and everyone loved it!

Working with Relish and Lacy was absolutely great! The food was delicious and so many of our guests commented on how great everything was after the event. Lacy really set Relish apart from the rest. Relish Destinctive Catering, Lacy Davidson, and her team are phenomenal to work with. We received so many compliments on the food and service provided by them on our big day. From our first meeting, Lacy worked with us and our budget to cater our perfect menu, never once pushing us in a direction we weren’t comfortable with. We also used Lacy as our “Day of” coordinator and could not recommend this enough to future couples. She went above and beyond to make sure everything came together exactly how we envisioned and helped us navigate our wedding day with ease and grace. We cannot thank Lacy and the whole Relish team enough, and will be highly recommending them to anyone looking for catering services.

We do not have enough good things to say about Lacy and the Relish team! Lacy was so communicative and helpful throughout the whole process and was always available for any questions/changes we had. If you want people to say this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, you need to book with Relish. Everything was absolutely delicious and our guests could not stop talking about it! The arancini and beef tenderloin crostini are to die for, and every main dish we served (chicken piccata, shrimp and grits, and short ribs) were amazing as well. Thank you again!

Ok, the amount of people coming up to me saying how good the food is all night was insane! I knew the food was great of course but EVERYONE kept coming up and expressing how good it was. It’s now a month after my wedding and people are still talking about it! Book relish now!! Lacy was amazing through the whole process and so responsive. I can’t thank them enough!!

Would highly recommend Relish Distinctive Catering to anyone in the Charleston, SC area (and surrounding cities). My husband and I were lucky to have Lacy Davidson as our point of contact throughout the whole wedding planning process. She recommended almost all of our wedding vendors to us and provided day-of wedding coordination as well as catering service for our reception. Everything was exactly like we pictured it would be and MORE! Additionally, all of our guests thought Relish’s catering was absolutely delicious and we couldn’t agree more. We had the shrimp & grits, crab cakes, green beans, pulled pork and other SC “low country” favorites for our reception dinner. Amazing food and phenomenal wait/bar staff!

The scenario: Less than 2.5 months to plan wedding by inexperienced Mother of the Bride, no wedding planner, clearly a recipe for disaster. But fortunately for me, I read some great reviews of Relish Catering helmed by Lacy Davidson and made the decision that mattered the most to the success of the wedding. From the first contact I could tell that Lacy was not just a wedding vendor. She was personally invested in not just serving great food & drink, but also in the success of the entire event. She was always responsive, kindly guiding me through the process, answering my questions, but more importantly providing me with things I needed to think about and decide that helped bring the whole wedding together. She made sure I had exactly the inventory needed from the rental company, and even provided the super helpful room set up diagram. She was my ally and the professionalism of her and her staff helped me know everything was handled and kept me off the ledge. She put together the schedule that started well before the ceremony, and tweaked it several times due to last minute changes. This schedule supported a flawless execution. Her crew was right in time, had appetizers ready to pass and available bar as soon as ceremony over and I never had to worry about the guests. The dinner was right on time, the service was friendly and impeccable, and I am still receiving compliments on the food and service by friends and family. My daughter said it was the best day of her life and she specifically wanted me to thank Lacy and the staff as they played such a big part in making that happen. Our family is from Charleston and we place a lot of value on hospitality and great food and Relish delivered!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Relish and specifically Lacy. Lacy was awesome from start to finish. When my husband and I met her at our tasting we were so thankful she was so knowledgeable and friendly. The food and Sangria were so amazing, my guests are still talking about the food weeks later. During the wedding Lacy and her team continually checked on us and our guests. At the end of the night Lacy and her team packed our leftovers for us that we took and enjoyed on our honeymoon. I’m so thankful they were part of our day!

My daughter and fiancé selected Relish Distinctive Catering to cater their wedding. Lacy was beyond attentive and responsive to all of our questions from start to finish. Lacy and her staff were amazing - I highly recommend hiring them for any event. The food was incredible and plentiful and Lacy’s staff worked hard from setup to cleanup. We also hired Relish for bar services which was nice to have one vendor for food and bar. Everything was beyond our expectations. I cannot express how happy I am with Relish Distinctive Catering and how highly I would recommend the company to anyone planning a wedding or large event in the Charleston area. From the beginning, Lacy and her team were extremely responsive and flexible. Several of our wedding details - many of which included food/beverage - changed a few times, and the Relish team was incredibly easy to work with. At no time did I feel my requests, questions, or concerns were not taken seriously. Our wedding was at the Magnolia Plantation Carriage House on 10/22/22 with about 140 guests. The Relish team was stellar, to say the least, from setup to breakdown and everything in between. Appetizers and stations were consistently refreshed, no guests waited more than a few minutes in line for food, and people are STILL raving about it a week later. Most importantly, they provided the service with smiles all throughout the night and were extraordinarily professional. My husband and I were incredibly appreciative of the Relish team passing out appetizers to us during cocktail hour as we were wrapping up photos, and having dinner set up on our sweetheart table for the start of the reception. If you are planning a wedding in Charleston, Relish Distinctive Catering is an absolute must. You will not be disappointed!

Lacy was a pleasure to work with! I loved working with her, she was very on top of everything and communicated every step of the way. Every guest commented on how amazing the food was from the passed apps to the buffet stations. We had the prime rib, mashed potato bar, pasta bar and grilled veggies. The food was great and they gave us some plates to eat in private and also packed us a to go plate of all the items. The food was so delicious and everyone was so helpful. We did the catering, event coordination, and the bar all through Relish. I couldn't recommend them for your big day more!

I helped to plan a wedding for August 13, 2022 and hired Lacy and Relish Catering. Lacy was an absolute DELIGHT to work with! She was very communicative, accommodating, and answered all of my many, many emails. The food also was outstanding! We were able to basically customize the menu to work within our budget. On the day of, Lacy went above and beyond to make sure that the couple was having a great time and that everything was in order. If I help to plan another wedding in Charleston, I would absolutely hire Lacy and Relish again! Thank you so much Lacy!

I can not recommend Relish Distinctive Catering enough! From the very first email exchanged with Lacy I could tell this would be a perfect fit for our wedding! I felt like they were able to accommodate us and make our day custom to our needs! Lacy and Chef were amazing at our tasting and made sure to take anything we suggested into consideration. On the wedding day they were professional and extremely friendly and all of our guests commented on the exceptional service they gave. The food was absolutely amazing - we got many positive comments from our guests! There are so many menu options, so we were able to make our wedding fit the style and budget we wanted. Plus, the whole staff was lovely! HIGHLY recommend booking the catering manager, Lacy Davidson, as your day-of coordinator as well! She’s AMAZING and her connection with Relish and other vendors made many processes very smooth!

My husband and I chose relish to cater our wedding, and we definitely picked the best caterer. Lacy was so helpful with everything, and she is so kind. We did our tasting a few months before the wedding and we were so excited to have all of our friends and family eat the food we picked out. I had to have a Mac and cheese bar, and they did such a good job with all of it. It was absolutely perfect! When I was planning our wedding I knew the number one thing that needed to be absolutely perfect had to be the food, and relish definitely gave us all the delicious food and so much more. Our friends and family kept talking about how nice the staff was and how great they did with cleaning up the dirty plates and cups. I highly recommend relish for anyone’s event and make sure Lacy helps you because she was absolutely amazing!

Relish was phenomenal! From our tasting to our wedding, we were constantly impressed! The food was topnotch, and all of our guests are still talking about how yummy everything was! Lacy, the catering manager was great throughout the whole planning process. When the day of came the food was delicious and they made sure me and my husband had food before anyone else. Even during cocktail hr while we were taking pictures they had brought us a tray so we could eat. When it came time to leave they even gave us a bag of food from our wedding. I highly recommend relish catering.

If you are wondering weather you should hire Lacy Davidson as your day of coordinator, think no more and just hire her! She was amazing!! She sat down with us several times before our wedding and made sure we felt at ease with all of the details. She showed up at our venue the morning of and set up everything, was in contact with all of my vendors and made our wedding day stress free! Lacy is amazing! Relish Catering was amazing as well. They set everything up, cleaned everything up after, and everyone was so kind. EVERYONE at our wedding commented on how AMAZING our food was. We could not have asked for a better catering service. If we could give more stars we would!

The food was amazing!! From the initial catering proposal, to the tasting, and the wedding, everything was immaculate. Lacy and her team were always helpful and always responded in a timely manner. Could not have done all of this without them! So thankful.

We are so happy that we had our wedding at Snee Farm, with Lacy as our wedding coordinator and Relish Catering providing the food! Everyone was very impressed, and we had at least six guests tell us that ours was the best wedding they have ever been a part of. I’ve worked many weddings and events for my part time job, and I can honestly say that Lacy is the MOST detailed and organized wedding coordinator I’ve met. She is patient, kind, and truly wants you and your significant other to enjoy your special day. Snee Farm was great, largely because everything was previously set up so that all we needed to bring was ourselves and the decorations! After originally meeting Lacy, we scheduled a day to taste the food. Oh, my goodness…. The mac and cheese was amazing! My husband is from the South, and he couldn’t stop eating it or singing its praises! We tried many options, and ultimately we decided to go with a station setup including a mac and cheese bar, a salad bar, a carving station with beef tenderloin and green beans (This was everyone’s favorite), and finally shrimp and grits. We also had cute appetizers of chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes, and a She Crab soup shooter. Lacy was outstanding in her communication with us, and she always got back to me promptly with any questions I had (I had a lot of questions haha!). She was very detailed with the timeline, and she made sure that everything was perfectly in place for my special day. When my husband and I arrived after the ceremony, Lacy had appetizers and our drinks of choice ready for us as we walked in. I was absolutely famished, so to me this was an amazing touch! The reception hall was beautiful, and she honestly exceeded my already-high expectations with the setup and decorations. Our dinner was on our table and ready for us immediately after our dances and the blessing. Throughout the night, she continued to check on us, and she made sure that we did not have to worry about anything. On a side note, I was married during Covid, and I booked all of our vendors in 2018. We suffered numerous setbacks, including but not limited to seeing a substantial number of guests drop out 3-6 months before. It was extremely sad and incredibly stressful, yet Lacy was there for me the entire time. She was very understanding, and she worked patiently with us throughout the whole process. Being a Covid bride is extremely difficult, but it is certainly possible when you have AMAZING vendors who work with you to make everything safe, clean, and respectful for you and your guests. It was one of the best days ever! I highly recommend Snee Farm as a venue, Relish Catering as your chefs, and Lacy as your wedding coordinator! Five out of five stars, they are simply outstanding to work with! Thank you :)

The food was absolutely fantastic. We had so many guests come tell us how awesome it was. Lacey was also wonderful to work with and took great care of us. The only reason we did 4/5 stars was because the open bar did not have some of the drinks that we wanted. Otherwise, for food, I highly recommend them and Lacey as well. Quick to respond, easy to work with, and quality food.

We used Relish for our wedding and they were AMAZING. Lacy was so easy to work with, especially considering we were getting married in the midst of a pandemic. She has a lot of great ideas and is very organized. The food was definitely the best "wedding food" I've ever had - and I'm not just saying that because it was my own wedding. We had our reception at Snee Farm Country Club, who partners with Relish, and it was equally as wonderful. Relish is truly the best!

Relish Catering was absolutely amazing! I knew at the tasting at Snee Farm that our food was great, but my husband and I literally had EVERYONE come up to us raving about the food. A lot of my family is from Jersey and you know how tough critics they are! They had zero complaints. Snee Farm was awesome to work with--specifically our coordinator Lacy. She answered any and all emails in a day or less and even on the weekends. She was able to keep me organized and always made me feel like everything was under control--it helped me keep my bridezilla in-tack :D

We used Relish as our caterer for our wedding in June. They did a fabulous job and Lacy was so great to work with! The food was so delicious and everyone loved our signature cocktails! We had 3 stations all of which fit into our theme of a southern staples! Relish worked with us to creat the prefect menu! I highly recommended the Mac and Cheese! It was amazing! All of our guest loved the food so much! Relish was such a great choice for us and I would highly recommend to any future brides!

Lacy Davidson with Relish & River Towne Country Club was amazing! I came to the venue several times throughout my planning process to measure, plan decor, tour vendors, etc and Lacy was always so helpful and accommodating! She is such an important part of it running like a well oiled machine! Now, Relish! Everyone at our wedding LOVED the food they provided! It was all seriously delicious and they have so many options and styles of serving your food! We went with the buffet option and Lacy and Chef were so helpful in working within our budget to find great options our guests would enjoy! I absolutely loved our experience through and through with them! Would definitely recommend!!

We have nothing but praise for Relish who catered our wedding as part of securing the venue at Rivertowne Country Club! Everyone from staff to Lacy to Chef were a delight to work with from the initial selection to the tasting to actual execution! Everyone commented on how great the food was, and even though we were too nervous to fully enjoy it that evening, they packed us a to go bag to enjoy later. We especially loved how they personally made a special hor d’ oeuvre to represent my Puerto Rican and my husbands Filipino backgrounds!

We had our reception at Snee Farms and everything was AMAZING!!! The staff was phenomenal, the food was extremely delicious, and the drinks were mmmm!!!!! Everyone was impressed and I’m so happy they helped me have the wedding/reception of my dreams!! People raved about the mini crab cakes we served during cocktail hour and really enjoyed the duck empanadas (they were my favorite!). We had a brunch wedding so mimosas, shrimp and grits, and chicken and waffles were the only way to go!! And they were a hit!! So many guests wish they were able to have seconds lol. They really helped us have the best day ever!! B O O K T H E M!!!

Lacy and her team were on top of it from Day 1! They were so easy to work with throughout the entire process. We did food stations and everything came out SO well (just as delicious as when we did our tasting)! We had so many guest compliments on our catering choice, which of course meant a lot to us. Additionally, Lacy and team made my husband and I a pecan pie to cut during the reception, since we don't like wedding cake and instead chose assorted desserts for our guests! *Also, I HIGHLY recommend the pimento cheese sliders -- they were both of our favorite! :)

Working with Lacy at Relish Catering was hands down the best wedding vendor decision I made. I was impressed from my very initial email right through my sparkler exit. Lacy is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and a joy to work with. To say she is good at her job is an understatement, she is beyond excellent. Every step of the way she was responsive, easy to communicate with, and beyond helpful in keeping track of all the little details I didn't even know existed. I was impressed throughout the planning process but especially on my wedding day. The food was plentiful, delicious, and displayed beautifully. Lacy had our meals fully laid out on our sweetheart table for us so we didn't have to worry about getting it ourselves and we got to enjoy our entire meal! This was an especially amazing touch for us, among many! Our guests told us the chefs for our carving and stir fry stations were absolutely wonderful and it was such a pleasure to hear her entire team went beyond just being professional but made sure to engage in a fun way with our guests. It made an impression on both them and us. Everyone raved about the food and went home full and happy. We had quite the spread and our selections were made from a very extensive menu that offers so many options, I can't imagine anyone would want for more choices! Relish also put together an amazing to-go bag for us with literally every part of out meal, from cocktail hour right through cake. They included EVERYTHING! The portions were perfect for each having a full sized meal and we enjoyed getting to have our wedding dinner all over again. I will rave about my experience with Relish and Lacy to anyone who will listen and recommend them without any reservation. I truly not only can't think of a single area they did not excel in but can list off so, so many where they exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the whole team for making my wedding an amazing (and delicious) day!

Lacey & her team were nothing short of fabulous!! They were so professional each step of the way and very responsive to our questions and needs. They made sure everything went smoothly, which took a lot of stress off of me. The food was amazing!! My guests complimented me on the food all night long. Lacy even helped me bustle my dress & get our wedding party lined up for introductions. I highly recommend Lacy & her team.

Relish and Lacy were amazing! Lacy helped me to keep my head together during the months leading up to the wedding! She went above and beyond her duties as catering manager. I am so glad that she was there on the wedding day. The food was absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese and the shrimp and grits bar were the most popular (although my favorite was the french fries). They even had good vegan options for some of my family members (not just salad-real food!). The chef at the shrimp and grits bar was entertaining and was an absolute hit- everyone loved him. The bartenders and all employees were nice too. PLUS all dishes, silverware, glassware, etc was included. I would highly recommend Relish to anyone getting married in Charleston.

Lacy and the team were so awesome! Our wedding reception was absolutely amazing. Guests came up to us all evening saying how delicious the food was! She was so helpful nailing down the details of our reception and figuring out the flow of the evening. Everything went so smoothly! We could not have been happier about our special day!

Lacy and her team were amazing! We used them for our rehearsal dinner, Welcome dessert party, and reception. At all three events the food was delicious. The grilled pimento cheese apps, mac and cheese, steak... everything was great. Lacy makes you feel at ease and listens to what you want and creates a menu that matched everything you tell her. She also goes above and beyond cater duties and helps you plan and follow up with other vendors. Do not look for another caterer!

Lacy was incredible! She was so organized, a wedding planner in herself, and such a pleasure to work with. We had passed hors d'oeuvres and a buffet at our wedding and her team ensured that everything ran in a timely manner. The food was so delicious, we still get compliments on our wedding menu. One wonderful perk about this catering company as well is that the provide white table linens, china, and silverware. This makes things much easier, convenient, and more affordable then renting those separately. No cake cutting/serving fee either. Relish is the best and I am very thankful for their help on my wedding day!

Where to begin?! Laura Lovisone is a gem. She was quick and easy to communicate, worked with us time and time again to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, worked with us on the prices, coordinated our rentals, she went above and beyond to provide the best professional service we've ever experienced. We talked almost every week, sometimes more, for over a year and now it feels like we're old friends. She made it her personal mission to give us the most amazing day of our lives. The food was delicious, the servers were so nice and helpful, the reception went smooth and perfect, and stayed on time! We, the bride and groom, and our families were treated like royalty, our needs were anticipated and met before we even asked. The best way I can think to sum up our time with Laura and Relish - we had tremendous help from our family and friends to make our wedding and reception successful, they gave their time and energy to ensure our happiness - this statement includes Laura and the Relish staff. They were just like family and shared in our celebration! Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I know I'm biased but that was the best wedding I've ever been to.
