What started as an 11-year-old’s curiosity behind the lens has grown into a true passion for photographing weddings, portraits, and real, meaningful moments. While I didn’t always picture myself as a wedding photographer, I quickly fell in love with the joy, emotion, and connection that come with documenting one of life’s most unforgettable days.

Rachel is the coolest, friendliest, and most talented photographer I’ve seen. Maybe I’m bias, but she made my wedding photo dreams come true! I would book her over and over again if I could. I originally chose her because her work looked natural, romantic, and creative. I also love that she does film. After meeting with her over the phone and during our engagement shoot, she made my husband and I feel extremely comfortable and I had a feeling we were with the right person! I was able to tell about things that made us feel awkward or camera shy, and she did everything she could to make us feel comfortable and meet us where we were at. I also showed her dozens of inspiration photos that captured the vibe I wanted and she 100% understood the assignment. I asked for whimsical, Anthropologie- like, romantic capturing and she delivered. On our big day, we both truly felt like we had a close friend taking our photos. I can’t wait to see what our film and the remainder of our wedding photos look like. I can’t recommend REM Photography enough and plan to use her for many more things to celebrate in the future!

Rachel is an incredible photographer and makes being in front of the camera feel natural. From the first few snaps, it became clear how she cares for each couple individually; she wants to get to know you and capture genuine moments you share. Whether I’m looking at our fall engagement pictures, or pictures from our wedding this July, I’m transported back to those days seamlessly. Not only am I revisiting the beauty of the day visually, but I feel the same excitement, love, happiness and energy too.
We incorporated many sentimental elements in our wedding day and Rachel captured the details of them all perfectly. I never expected some of my favorite pictures to be without any people in them, but her eye makes even the simplest things look exquisite.
Lastly, I want to highlight Rachel’s ability to snap the best moments with not only her digital camera, but her film camera as well. Film photography is special because it represents the day exactly as it was in that moment, no edits. My favorite picture with my sister on my wedding day is one that she took on her film camera.
We had the wedding of our dreams, and luckily we will be able to relive it endlessly. Words cannot express effectively the amount of gratitude I have for who Rachel is as a person, and her work as a photographer.

I cannot express enough how happy we are that we stumbled upon REM Photography. From the very first time we reached out, Rachel was communicative and helped us decide what package was right for us and helped us work out our day of timeline to ensure we got all the photos we wanted while also being able to enjoy ourselves. Rachel’s laid back demeanor combined with her professionalism also helped ease nerves and tensions on the big day. Not to mention the quality and quantity of her photographs are unmatched from any others we’ve seen before. Our first look gallery had more photos than some photographers provide in total. REM is worth every penny and more, you won’t be sorry you chose them!

We can’t recommend Rachel enough! Our engagement and wedding photos came out absolutely gorgeous! Rachel was very accommodating to what our vision was and turned them into a reality. She did an awesome job at building a connection with us and is truly someone who you can rely on being your photographer for life! Not only is she a super friendly and awesome person, but her work is really amazing. Rachel is the most down to earth human. Her package included everything we needed at a reasonable price. I knew from the time we took our engagement photos with her she was going to be the perfect person to capture our special day. She is so easy to work with and constantly kept in touch and was there whenever I had questions. Our timeline was perfect, she knew exactly what she was doing. We even asked her if she wanted to stay to party at the wedding after our time allotment had ended just as a guest. Her style of photography was exactly what I had imagined. I can’t wait to use her for future events as well. A few weeks later we also received the cutest memory box with an engraved flash drive of our photos along with some prints and polaroids and a sweet thank you note from Rachel. Truly the sweetest human being.

Rachel was an absolute dream to work with!! Our wedding day was pretty perfect but Rachel made it even better. My husband and I knew that at any moment Rachel was nearby knowing what came next, what moments we had discussed as "must captures," or just being there to check in. We truly cannot imagine what our day or the planning process would have been without Rachel. From day one she was available for anything we needed. We can't express how grateful we are and how amazing she really is. Oh and did we mention the INCREDIBLE results??!! I whole-heartedly recommend Rachel. Honestly, I felt a little anxious on my wedding day (unprecedented heatwave and thunderstorm for an outdoor wedding lol) but when I look at Rachel's photos I'm like who is that beautiful, relaxed woman?! Rachel's gorgeous candids of family hugs, smiles, laughter and happy tears honestly made me retroactively enjoy my wedding day more. I am so thankful to her for that. She's being completely genuine when she says she wants you to get the exact shots that you're dreaming of - and she makes them happen!
In addition to being a patient, flexible and supportive photographer, she's also just an incredibly kind person. The kind of person you want to spend your wedding day with because she has awesome calm energy even when you're a nervous wreck lol.

Choosing a photographer was one of the most important decisions for us, both for their style and their personality, given that they would be with us throughout the entire day. Rachel exceeded all our expectations in every way!
Not only is Rachel incredibly skilled, but she is also the kindest, funniest, and most relaxing photographer you could ask for. She has a unique ability to make you feel completely at ease, even while encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone to capture the most incredible photos. Her approach made our wedding day feel natural and joyful, to the point where we often forgot she was even there and were fully immersed in the moment.

There are no words to describe how incredible Rachel is. We hired her as our wedding photographer, which also included an engagement session and she blew us away. From our first meeting at the engagement session, she was so easy to work with. She provided tips, suggestions, and advice as it was our first time getting professional photos taken. Going into our big day we knew Rachel would be able to capture very special moment. Going through all the photos brought us back to that day. We felt like we were reliving it all over again. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get professional photos taken.

Rachel is so friendly and professional. We hired her to photograph our wedding after I saw her work here on The Knot. She genuinely has an eye to shoot the most beautiful photos. We did an engagement shoot with her several months before the wedding, and we absolutely adored them. For the wedding, she came up with a timeline for the day for what pictures we would take and when. We decided we wanted her for an extra hour, and she was so flexible with that request. She really made sure we stayed on time, too, which I very much appreciate. The photos from the wedding are absolutely gorgeous! I could not ask for a better photographer. I would recommend REM Photography to every bride out there!

An absolutely amazing photographer! She was soo kind and patient with us and all of our large family photos. We had a winter wedding with snow the day of and Rachel was able to take the most amazing photos of us outside in the snow! We took photos in the freezing snow and rain with no problems at all! Rachel was up for anything we suggested and was able to help pose us when we were out of ideas ourselves. By the end of the event she felt like another guest and friend at the event. We will definitely be using her for any future photoshoots.

I cannot express how thrilled I am with my wedding photos. Rachel is kind, fun, considerate, and TALENTED! She did not allow a dreary wedding day to affect her positivity & was excited about taking creative photos despite the weather, which lifted my spirits too. The photos are gorgeous— a perfect mix of moody with the rain, yet somehow she brightened some of them up to the light & golden photos I’d always dreamed of. My whole family is impressed & thrilled with her editing skills, posing style, and vision. If I could leave 20 stars I would. Rachel was incredible to work with! She was organized, totally understood my vision for the day, prompt and professional. We had some unusual ideas for shots - Rachel rolled with everything we threw at her. The pictures are jaw dropping, my friends and family all commented on what a fabulous job REM did capturing the day. Also - she was truly a delight to have with me for the day, had me laughing and helped keep me on track. I absolutely could not be more satisfied with the service and finished pictures!! Rachel was a dream to work with! She not only did a beautiful job photographing our day down to the last detail, but welcomed my many phone calls for assistance throughout my wedding planning process and offered help in every way she could. She arrived early and super prepared to deal with anything the day threw at us including some unwelcome rain. We used Rachel for our wedding and engagement shoot and from the moment we met her we knew we made the right choice. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured the most stunning pictures ever. She is so down to earth and talented, we trusted her with choosing our engagement shoot location and she didn’t disappoint. I told her what I loved most in pictures and she completely understood the kind of place that would work for us and chose the most gorgeous spot. I absolutely loved every single picture she took.
Wedding day came and Rachel was ready to go and put my mind at ease. I was a little nervous about having a bunch of people in the bridal suite as I was getting ready because I’m not used to having that kind of attention on me, but having Rachel there actually made me feel more comfortable because she is so sweet. She got some really beautiful shots before all the craziness of the day began, and helped coordinate the first look which I hadn’t even thought about the logistics behind.
Seriously so grateful that she was there and helped so much!
Today we got our wedding pictures back and we are absolutely blown away by the gorgeous shots! The way she captured the sunlight in our pictures makes me feel like our photos came right out of a wedding magazine. I highly recommend Rachel for anyone looking for a photographer. Rachel completely exceeded our expectations for our wedding. I was not specific on what I wanted yet she captured beyond what I envisioned and we were blown away with her work. She made it fun and made us both very comfortable. My husband and I are usually awkward when it comes to being in front of a camera but she made it very easy for us to be ourselves together and really captured our love in so many photos. I truly could not pick a favorite photo because there were so many I loved. I recommend her to every one I know, especially for weddings.

Rachel was by far the best vendor to work with. She photographed not only my engagement shoots, but my wedding as well. She was of course punctual, professional and diligent, but her personality is lovely and her ability to work extremely well with every single one of our guests and wedding party was out of this world. She really takes the time to prepare for the event, is open to ideas from the people she is photographing, is outstanding behind the camera, and works so well with other vendors. She is able to build rapport with anyone, and is extremely outgoing and kind to everyone she meets and works with, while also maintaining professionalism. To me, that is so important because it shows that she takes her job very seriously, and her work ethic is something she takes pride in, but she also makes you feel so comfortable and is so friendly that it makes the photoshoot flow so nicely and easy. I cannot say enough good things about Rachel, I am so honored to have worked with her and I look forward to working with her in the future.
