We could not have had a better band for my daughter's wedding. Heather and all the members were fabulous. Simply fabulous. Extraordinarily fabulous. We put so much into the weddin...
g, a welcome party Friday, Irish and Greek dancing groups, the ceremony next to the ocean, the cocktail hour with a putting contest, plus a few other surprises for the happy couple and the guests. We received many compliments, and were shown a lot of appreciation. This was before the band took the stage. Just the setup was impressive. I met with Heather and the ladies as they were setting up and they were so impressed with what they saw and heard from Tracey with what was going on during the weekend. I told Heather I’ve done all I can do to make this a great weekend, you folks now need to bring it home. She said, Mike, relax, we got this. Lol. My god did they bring it home. What a terrific show they put on. You said it best, they are a party band that plays weddings. The ladies were stunning. Voice, looks, moves, the whole package. Of course, as I want to compliment the male lead singer, I forgot his name (I’m sorry) but he was as much of the show as the ladies. Nobody, and I mean nobody left till it was over. The dance floor was occupied the entire night. The guests were simply blown away. To a person, all I kept hearing all night is this the best wedding they’ve attended and the best band they’ve seen. The energy they brought to the party and created throughout the night was impressive. Curtis was a terrific MC as well. All the members were just a lot of fun to watch and hang out with. Once again, they were fabulous and we very much appreciated their performance.
I can't thank The Maxx enough for making our reception everything we could have ever wanted. They were INCREDIBLE, the dance floor was packed from the second they started playing u...
ntil the very last song. They were so interactive with the crowd...the soul train was AMAZING. Our wedding was almost 2 months ago and I still get messages about how great they were. All of my engaged friends are wanting The Maxx to play at their wedding. Thank you Tony and the Maxx for being so wonderful and making our reception so so so much fun!
We wanted an engaging band that would encourage high energy and dancing. Heather Hayes was awesome. They are high powered and very talented. It felt like having a personal concert ...
instead of having a lame wedding band playing in the background. These skilled musicians learned a few special songs for us but they cover a pretty wide range on their own. We ended up having 13 pieces which included Heather Hayes and several backup singers. They were a dynamic group that had our guests raving about them beginning only a few minutes after they started playing. I'd definitely use them again!
After seeing the Maxx at a few other weddings, we knew that we wanted them for our wedding, and we were not disappointed! We were trying to make it around to all of our guests as d...
inner was winding down, only to look up and see that the dance floor was already packed full of people from 3 years old to 80+ years old boogieing down. The dance floor stayed like that throughout the night. There were even people dancing to the music they played during their break. They were so good at reading our crowd, and they clearly love what they do. We hope to be able to use them again for a future event, and recommend that you book the Maxx for your wedding if you want a fun filled night of dancing.
If you want everyone up on their feet dancing the whole time, then hire the MAXX! There would be no way your wedding wouldnt be fun if the Maxx was performing. And yes, I mean perf...
orming - they are incredible vocalists, their energy is contagious, they get the crowd involved, and they have a dance routine for all of their songs. The night went by so fast because everyone was dancing the entire time - even when they took a break! Everyone asked where we found the band because it was THE BEST WEDDING BAND THEY HAVE EVER HEARD! I cant wait to have them again at another function down the road, because AMAZING! worth every penny!
The band was FABULOUS! My only complaint was that I gave them a "do not play" list, which consisted of only about 6 songs, and they ended up playing 2 of those 6... REALLY frustra...
ted by that - especially considering the cost.
The Maxx was AMAZING! I think all 170 guests danced and the dance floor was packed the entire night. The band did a great job mixing music and keeping the crowd engaged. They got o...
