We first experienced Ben’s DJ’ing at our friend’s wedding and when we started planning for ourselves this was one of the easiest decisions! Ben (Benja Styles) was so great to work with - organized, professional, flexible, and then of course, he delivered! Best music, vibes and energy all night at our wedding. You’re in good hands with Ben and Remixologists!

Simon was absolutely spectacular. He included us in his extensive prep meetings with the bride & groom to amass playlists of our favorites, meticulously planned the reception and conducted the event with incredible skill. The dance floor was packed all night. He even got the young and old out together. People I hadn’t see dance in 40 years! Amazing. If we could give him a “6” we would.

The dance floor was packed all night and so many guests commented on how amazing DJ Benja was!! Highly, highly recommend! Ben is professional, fun, and a joy to work with! He is first and foremost an amazing DJ: he seamlessly mixed songs, reading the room and ensuring the party never stopped. He was also on top of everything leading up to the wedding and helped us navigate the organization. He reached out to coordinate with the venue to make sure things ran smoothly and met with us several times to make sure the music was spot on for all the events on the day of the wedding. Ben was also super helpful and flexible when we ran into some weather related changes day-of. The ceremony and cocktail hour ran perfectly. The reception was fantastic and we have never danced so much in our lives! The MC-ing was also perfect! We can’t praise Ben’s work highly enough! Working with Remixologists was also straightforward and easy. They are an organized and experienced company that know the specific needs of weddings. Highly recommend!

My husband did a ton of research as we were looking for our wedding DJ and was so excited when he found DJ L'Gitt (Lee), because his style and some of the samples were exactly what we were looking for. We knew we made the right choice during our conversations with Lee ahead of our date, as he asked thoughtful questions, refined an audio file for my husband's dance with his mom, and had a clear understanding of what we wanted to hear and feel. The day of, Lee was set up well ahead of time and tested everything to ensure it all went smoothly. He also pulled us aside briefly to check in and confirm that everything was as we had discussed, which we really appreciated. Once our event started, Lee exceeded all expectations. From his MC'ing to mashing up songs we requested with his own choices, everything he did was so above and beyond. Everyone LOVED him, the dance floor was packed the entire night, and we could not have had a better time. Lee absolutely crushed our wedding, and we are so thankful we chose him to curate the soundtrack for our party.

Luke aka DJ Coolhand was our wedding DJ and we loved him from the moment we had our pre-booking interview to our prep call and finally at the wedding! The day of our wedding was a record breaking storm in NYC and there were a lot of traffic/logistic problems but Luke arrived on time and did multiple checks to make sure all of the sound was perfect! We felt like he had everything under control at all times and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The music was great all night and all of my guests had a great time! We didn't give him a list of music to play, he just read the room and all of the music selections were perfect. Thank you for making our wedding perfect, Luke!!

Ben and the whole Remixologists team are the absolute top of their game! Music and atmosphere drive so much about a successful wedding, and when we look back, we (and our guests) keep raving and raving about the music. My wife and I were looking for a mix of throwback pop and modern EDM. We did a few late nights of research and stumbled upon the Remixologists website. After listening to a few mixes, we reached out and were relieved that they were available! We got set up with Ben (aka Benja Styles) to start planning immediately. Ben was really wonderful to work with. We had a very detailed timeline that we collaborated on, and he went the extra mile to connect with our day-of coordinator to line everything up. Most importantly, whenever we started to get anxious about details not coming together, Ben put us at ease. We made up a handful of Spotify playlists — Definitely Play, Do Not Play, Cocktail Hour & Eating — and Ben perfectly took all of it as inspiration to make every moment awesome. The dance floor was 100% full the entire time — no joke. I was actually a bit surprised, but it really just shows how amazing of a DJ Ben is. He had the perfect track to go with the energy flow of the night and it was such an awesome time that my dad (who is typically pretty reserved) went up and thanked him at the end. Big warm feels from seeing our families up and dancing — which definitely isn’t the norm at weddings! Thank you so much Ben and the entire Remixologists team. We look back at our wedding day and think it was absolutely perfect - you were a huge reason why!

WOW! We were totally blown away by the communication, connection and of course the PARTY that DJ Benja Styles brought to our wedding. We met in advance to establish our general music throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour and dance block and he delivered! Ben took the time to listen to our music inspiration, and played exactly what we wanted and more. His style of mixing songs together brought a fun and energetic vibe to the dance floor that kept people dancing all night. He also has an incredible ability to read the room and move onto a new song if people aren’t dancing to keep the energy up all night. Dj Benja styles does not disappoint! I consider myself crazy about music and needed alllllll genres remixed seamlessly into each other and he does just that. A Guaranteed party and actually listens to what you want. Thanks Ben!!!

David Cruz (aka Jams Bond) absolutely Killed it at our wedding in October 2022 (better late then never). Each DJ set had a clear theme, was full of energy, and the music appropriately matched the energy on the dance floor at a given point in time. David was also very thoughtful in working with us to incorporate some jewish and Israeli music, which is not part of his "normal" set list. He approached these conversations with curiosity, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to make the event live up to all the hype. He also took my feedback when I wanted to edit the composition of a few custom tracks we worked on together and was very helpful in putting this together. Throughout the event, David was professional, friendly, and worked with the event staff to reposition the speakers at one point before the event started. He did this with enthusiasm and not frustration. A great presence to have at your wedding! We had Lee (DJ L’Gitt) for our wedding and he crushed it for us! Very detailed planning leading up to our wedding day, Lee also offered great suggestions for songs/timeline/logistics. He delivered on our big day and all our guests were raving about the music! 10/10 would recommend

DJ Coolhand (Luke) made our wedding day so special. Luke was very attentive to detail, super easy to work with and is an extremely talented DJ. Luke also flawlessly executed a DJ + sax performance exactly how we envisioned it, any we couldn't be happier. Incredible! We got SO many compliments throughout the night (and after) and COULD NOT have been happier! Simon was friendly, organized, and just good vibes in general. The process was seamless and he was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.

We had DJ Lee (L'Gitt) at our wedding and he was AMAZING!! We had such a blast and our guests were on the dance floor the entire time, exactly what we wanted. We had multiple guests that are planning their weddings in the area ask for his info. Not only was Lee phenomenal day-of, but he was so helpful communicating with us in the weeks leading up to help us with song selections, preparing a cut of our first dance song in advance so we could practice, and sending playlist suggestions for our after party. We also had a rain scare day-of (luckily it didn't happen), but Lee was flexible and prepared for whatever weather could have come our way. Outside of being a DJ he is an awesome person - wish we got to spend more time with him! Would do anything to relive our party thanks to Lee!

DJ Jams Bond was a dream! He listened so carefully to what we wanted, but also brought his own expertise. The dance floor was lively and uninhibited all night long thanks to him. We wanted oldies, disco, pop, some 90s hip hop - he did it all, even managing to take a last minute request on the fly. He was also a great MC, announcing all the speeches. Perfect vibes all around

Remixologists were an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We cannot stress this enough: of all the partners, vendors, suppliers and others we worked with to plan our special day, Remixologists were BY FAR the most responsive, organized and reassuring. They were the single entity who alleviated stress and anxiety – rather than causing it. Simon was fabulous to work with throughout, and we cannot say enough amazing things about DJ Ben. He was thoroughly prepared, arrived at the venue early, and delivered an incredible performance as both DJ and MC. One of our guests said, “Every song was a fun surprise.” We wish we could throw another party just to hire Ben again. 5+ stars for Remixologists! Give them a call if you want the best.

The Remixologists are NEXT LEVEL. We had Ben as our DJ who comes from many years experience playing at some of the biggest clubs in NYC. And he absolutely did not disappoint. Music at a wedding is crucial for the party so this is where you need to invest. Choosing Ben is the best investment you will do. Not only will he play all of your hit songs and then some but properly reads the room and properly mixes new school with old school which keeps EVERYONE on the dance floor. PLUS, we invested in a saxaphone player and drummer for the cherry on top of every song. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE AND WORTH EVERY PENNY. If you can, request Barb the drummer - you think you're cool and talented until you see Barb in action. We did not leave the dance floor once. The only time was to go to the bathroom but even then we were afraid to miss the next song because we knew it was going to be a banger. The DJ is the one consistant thing all 200 of our guests keep raving about. We know you're on your deep search for the best DJ at the best price etc etc. so I hope this review helps you narrow it down. I was not paid to say this. They are that good and deserve all the credit. We will be on this wedding high for a long time thanks to Remixologists.

I had the pleasure of working with David Cruz (aka DJ Jams Bond) for my wedding in October ‘22. From our first Zoom call, David and the entire Remixologists team was super responsive, organized and knowledgeable. What really stood out was his strong attention to detail, such as making sure he knew how to pronounce all the names of the wedding party. Most importantly, David was extremely flexible and had a wealth of musical knowledge. We covered everything from Frank Sinatra to The Killers. David was also able to accommodate last minute changes with a surprise event my wife planned very close to the wedding day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience working with the Remixologists team, and David in particular. We would strongly recommend them for any upcoming events.

DJ Lee (L'GITT) blew us away at our recent wedding. From the second he started DJ-ing, the dance floor was packed, and it stayed that way the entire night. EVERYONE raved about him and said how amazing the music was. My favorite part was that he played music that everyone - from our grandparents down to the younger folks at the wedding - wanted to dance to. Beyond that, he was just a pleasure to work with and very professional. We could not recommend him more, and our only regret is that we can't get married and hire him again!

Simon was the absolute best DJ we could have asked for. Working with him was so easy and he really helped guide us on when to play certain music while still making sure the playlist reflected our favorites! We still are getting requests for a Wedding Playlist because people enjoyed his work so much. If you want the perfect night of dancing highly recommend using Simon.

DJ Benja Styles, Barb and the entire crew at The Remixologists delivered everything they promised and more than I knew I needed. Let's start with the most important part... the music. During the booking process (which was extremely easy and user friendly) I was asked for a bit of background on my relationship to music. This question felt purposeful to me... and I believe it was used to help match me to the appropriate fit for the big day. They matched me up with DJ Benja Styles and couldn't have been more spot on. We did an intro zoom call so that DJ Ben and I could chat about musical tastes, desired vibes for the evening and just get to know each other a bit. I think what struck me most was a feeling of comfort that Ben truly understood the eclectic musical tastes of myself, my wife and our guests. Everything from Rage Against the Machine to K-Pop, Frank Sinatra to Wu-Tang, and everything in between. He understood the assignment, and he proved that at the party! He knew the exact song to play at the exact moment, I don't think I've ever seen a DJ with more skill for reading a room. I was originally on the fence about live band vs DJ. I really like to hear the recorded versions of my favorite songs on the dancefloor... but cannot deny the energy a live band brings to a party. Luckily The Remixologists have a solution for that! We decided to add Barb Duncan who is an INCREDIBLE drummer to the set up. Barb played along with the songs while Ben spun... and it added SO MUCH energy to the night!! I think the amazing thing about how well Barb played, is that she performed enough for you to feel her presence, with perfectly timed syncopated rhythms... but not so much to overshadow the songs. She knew to dial it back on certain songs or let it rip on others... and our guests were raving about the sound! I highly recommend going this route for a unique experience, especially if your playlist is heavy with rock and hip hop! The dance floor was like an explosion of amazing energy (I posted some pics to prove it)... and just when you thought they were gonna let up and slow things down a bit... the party just kept intensifying. This was per my request... we didn't want any dull moments. I will NEVER forget that night, and there are so many core memories I have because of the work that Ben and Barb did. It was absolutely perfect. My friends and family still talk about what an amazing party it was. As far as the overall experience outside of the music.. the communication was ON POINT. Their use of Basecamp to share important spreadsheets and documents was super helpful in keeping organized and making sure that no details were missed. I became so fixated on detailing the playlists that I forgot we actually needed to think logistics... timelines for speeches and key moments, names of the bridal party and family members for announcements, song clips for curated moments... we even had a few games played throughout the night the Ben expertly MC'd for us! My head was spinning at the amount of things we needed to keep track of but Ben is a PROFESSIONAL. This clearly was not his first rodeo and he knew exactly how to guide us through the process and how to keep the evening moving along smoothly. He worked in tandem with our wedding planner and coordinator and we had no worries on the big day. I even had a special request to perform a surprise song for my wife and Ben provided the set up I needed. Professional, personable and polished, the best!!!

We had the pleasure of working with the Remixologists and all I can say is WOW - what a fantastic job they did for our wedding. We had the pleasure of having Simon as our DJ, along with the Drummer (Barb) and Sax Player. Together they did such an incredible job playing to our guests. Almost every guest we talked to after our wedding raved about how well done flow of introductions, first dances and song choices was. Simon and his team kept the party going all night. I highly recommend you hire DJ Ben!! I am a Jamaican American, and it was necessary to highlight both cultures at our wedding. DJ Ben was able to accomplish more than I could have ever imagined. No one could get off the dance floor, we danced the night away. DJ Ben played old-school (the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s) reggae that resonated with my Father, Uncles, and Family from Jamaica. As well as pop music, r&b during dinner, basically everything I asked for, and more! DJ Ben was super professional, responsive, and organized. Remixologist set us up with the right DJ to make our wedding ever-lasting and DJ Ben a forever friend!

Music was the MOST important thing to my husband and I for our October 2022 wedding. Music is what brought us together and plays a huge part in our love story. We wanted that to show through on our day. Hiring Simon from Remixologists was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We have a very unique taste in music including a lot of punk and harder rock. Simon was somehow able to flawlessly mix in our favorite bands/artist and still manage to keep everyone raging on the dance floor the entire night. We could not have been happier choosing Ben at Remixologist to DJ our wedding. From the beginning Remixologist made the process of working with them incredibly easy. Ben is an amazing DJ! We talked briefly with him before our wedding and he created the most amazing set to play at our wedding that embodied our music style. DJ Benja Styles is excellent. He was in charge of music for both the ceremony and reception. We had a mostly younger crowd (20-35) at the wedding. Some testimonials I got from guests: "Most fun wedding I've ever been to" "Non-stop bangers all night. I didn't sit down once the dance set started" "I wish we went with a DJ like that for our wedding." Prior to the wedding, Ben was super communicative and friendly without being overbearing. He was very reassuring and we knew we didn't have to worry about him from the conversation - he had it handled. If you have friends that like to party, look no further. Our plan for the wedding was "Start classy, but turn it into a rager by the end of the night." Ben captured the vibe we were going for completely and knew exactly what to play to keep the party moving. Excellent transitions, never let a song overstay it's welcome, and executed every planned song perfectly. Worth every penny. Best Party Ever! Luke was phenomenal to work with. He listened to and delivered on everything we wanted. He played an amazing mix of music that got everyone up and dancing throughout the night. If you want a nonstop party you came to the place!

From the beginning of our wedding planning process, my husband & I knew we wanted a unique DJ. NOT a typical wedding DJ who makes you cringe all night with their MCing and dance floor fog machines. We knew from our first call with Ben that he was for us - all about the music and just understood our taste from the get-go. The best compliment I received at my wedding was that I looked like a bride who truly enjoyed my wedding - this was thanks to Ben! I danced from the minute we walked into our wedding until the minute we walked out. Ben & Simon were always easy to get in touch with - super responsive, organized, flexible, and fun to work with! Remixologist and DJ Jams Bond were incredible. They very tech savvy which made payments, scheduling and collaboration really easy. DJ Jams Band (David) came through huge for us on putting together a few custom pieces we wanted for the ceremony and our first dance. I should also note that of the many highlights at our wedding, I had multiple guests of all age groups come up to me during the reception to specifically mention how great the music was and to ask whether I had specifically curated the playlist (I had not, that was all David). Remixologist on a whole were kind, courteous, professional and most importantly super fun.

Our experience with Remixologists was incredible. From the fast, and easy communication, to the ability to listen to their DJ's playlists online, picking Remixologists was one of our best and easiest choices. We worked with Benja Styles, and he totally got our 80s/90s R&B meets today vibe, and brought dow the house. DJ Benja styles is literally the best DJ of all time. We just got married on 10/29/22 and he literally blew us away. Our family and friends were raving about him, our dance floor was packed, I have people begging me for his information to hire him, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Simon (aka DJ Taiga) was the absolute best wedding DJ we could have ever hoped for. He was extremely professional, kind and gave helpful advice throughout the whole planning process. He is extremely patient and graciously responded to all of our emails and questions! What truly blew me away was that, when my dad asked him to help with some sound effects during his father of the bride toast, he went above and beyond and truly made my dad’s comedic dreams come true. He played all the music we were hoping for and added in his own song choices to get people dancing, which I am so grateful for. He was the perfect emcee for our NYC wedding, and he was extremely fun and energetic without being boisterous like some DJs at other weddings I have been to. All of our guests loved him and kept saying that he was playing the best music ever and changed the songs at the exact right time!! He also did an amazing job balancing the sound levels, which was somewhat of a challenge at our venue. The music was just the right volume for dancing, yet people could still hold a conversation at the tables and actually hear each other. He is extremely experienced yet brings a youthful energy and he is just the best, most lovely guy. Truly do not look any further than Simon and his team, the Remixologists.

We had Ben as our DJ and we couldn’t be happier! He was easy to work with and very professional. We simply told him our taste in music and he delivered! Some of our guests have grabbed us at our wedding to let us know the music was really good. They were also amazed about the drummer addition! It sounded like a live performance at times. My brother-in-law reached out to Ben after our wedding and will be having Ben DJ his wedding in 2023 :) we are excited to see Ben again, as guests this time!! Another thing I found important was that the entire Remixologists team were organized and communicative, which helped a ton during wedding planning!

Our wedding was only last night but I had to hop on here to leave a review for DJ Taiga (Simon)! I am sooo happy we went with Simon for our wedding day/night. He was so easy going to work with, especially when it came to how particular I am about what music I wanted played!! Everyone told me how impressed they were with the music from the moment they entered the venue space until the last song. When it was over, I could have danced for another four hours! The dance floor was packed all night and everyone had the best time. I am so grateful to Simon & remixologists!! Thank you, Simon!!!!

We cannot speak highly enough of DJ Ben! Throughout the wedding planning process he was incredibly professional, responsive, and collaborative. We were excited to work with Ben given his skill in reading the crowd and getting everyone on the dance floor, and wow did he crush it! His MC'ing and DJ'ing were both exceptional and so many guests told us both the night of the wedding and in the days afterwards how it was the most fun wedding dance floor they'd experienced. We cannot recommend Ben and Remixologists more, so terrific!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Not your average DJ wedding!!! 10000X better! I am SO happy we hired remixologists for our wedding. We had DJ Lee as well as a live saxophonist, Zach and live drummer, Marlon. The three of them together was absolutely incredible. What we love about this group is that they are so different than other wedding DJs. Music held a huge importance to us because it is something we feel can make or break a wedding. It is also something so close to our hearts as we met at a live show. This is not your standard wedding dj music, It felt like we were at a live show. That’s what we wanted!! Most times wedding music is the same songs, annoying interruptions on the mic, etc. This is NOT remixologists. They create a VIBE. DJ Lee crafted a set that was so specific and special to us as a couple. He really listened to our story and our wants. That meant so much to us. And while he was mixing in the moment, Zach and Marlon were playing live sax and drums. We keep getting comments about how Zach was the life of the party. He was in the middle of the dance floor, playing the sax. The people loved him!! The music was our favorite part of the night. We did not leave the dance floor the entire night. We had so much fun, I don’t think we said hi to anyone! We cannot recommend this group enough. If you want your wedding to be the most epic, fun dance party and music is important to you, GO WITH REMIXOLOGISTS!!!

Ben DJed our wedding in July 2022 and he is the best! Can’t recommend him and the Remixilogists enough. From start to finish, working with the Remixilogists was great - even as we had to change our wedding date many times over the last few years, they were always very understanding and flexible. Ben understood our style of music and how we wanted the party to flow and nailed it - he was a huge part of what made our wedding truly perfect. Our guests had the best time, everyone was on the dance floor all night, and so many people came up to us to tell us how much they loved the DJ. Thank you Ben and team!!

After 10 years of attending friends’ weddings, our top priority was choosing a DJ that understood our vision: a wedding that felt like a club. Ben blew it out of the water. I have never had so much fun in my life. Banger after banger. The dance floor was overflowing all night.

Wedding Event: Hotel Bethlehem 9/3/22 My husband's family is West Indian and both sides of our family are music fanatics, yet have VERY different taste in music. We had every walk of life at our wedding so we were sweating bullets before we found Benjamin Coleman (DJ Benja Styles) and the *amazing* drummer Barbara Duncan. We hired them during Covid and continuously had to move out our wedding date. It was EFFORTLESS working with Ben and their team. Before Ben and Barbara we had so many zoom meetings with potential djs that were too afraid to dive into music they never heard of and didn't want to ruin their reputation. We asked several djs to give us a little sample of West Indian mixed with American and NO ONE WOULD DO IT EXCEPT BEN. That is confidence!!!!! Even during the wedding Ben was more communicative to us than our wedding planner!!!!! DJ Benja Styles is an AMAZING dj for interracial couples, and we received SO MANY compliments from wedding guests about the drummer Barbara Duncan. She was seamless!!! My husband's family have been to hundreds of indian weddings and several said this one was the best. How much of a better compliment can you get??

From start to finish, Simon (DJ Taiga) & Remixologists were nothing short of amazing. Not only is Simon so friendly and warm, but he is extremely detail-oriented and goes above and beyond, making every song special and unique. Every song and playlist was meticulously & strategically placed - he read the crowd so well and effortlessly blended many genres together. We had a fusion Indian/traditional Western wedding, and hired him for the Indian ceremony and reception. He took so much time and care into making sure everything flowed seamlessly. Everyone (young & old) was on the dance floor the whole night. After the wedding, people could not stop asking who our DJ was, including the drummer. They understood the assignment!! We had the best day ever and are so grateful, and we could not recommend him more. We hope to have another party just to have him play for us again. :) XOXO!!

From the very first interaction and throughout the entire wedding planning process, the entire team at Remixologists was incredibly responsive, professional and helpful. Ben stayed in touch with us throughout the wedding planning and took the time to get to know both me and my husband beyond just our musical likes/dislikes. We love all types of music and Ben was able to capture all aspects of our list and then some - we had guests coming up to us throughout cocktail hour, dinner and the reception to comment on how amazing the music was. Ben by far exceeded our expectations and made our night that much more memorable.  We would highly recommend!

My husband and I came across Remixologists first from a google search and then they were also included in a list of recommendations from our photographer (Peach Plum Pear Photo). Another clue we found worthy of noting was their website. They definitely took the time to maintain a look that was modern and stylish. Simon was responsive and arranged a meeting with available DJs. We picked DJ L'Gitt and he did not disappoint. He was just as friendly, warm and inviting as the day we initially spoke. Fast forward closer to the wedding, he reached out for the final meeting. He really wanted to hear our story, our background, where we grew up, etc to personalize our wedding. He checked up on us throughout the night and his emcee-ing was smooth. To top it off, the music was amazing. We gave him some direction on songs/ artists we really liked but honestly just told him to fill in the gaps. So many people came up to us during and after our wedding to compliment on two main things. The food and the music. Everyone really enjoyed the night and we reached out goal - to have a great party. DJ L'Gitt made the night memorable and seamless. Honestly, great hands to be in for a kick ass party!

David Cruz, part of Remixologists DJs, has been an absolute wonder. Our wedding would not have gone nearly as smoothly or been as fun without him. DJs are essential to weddings. My friends advised me that the two most important things are the music and the food. They set the atmosphere, coordinate the other scheduled events for the night, and adjust the music to the crowd's energy in real-time. David went above and beyond. He helped us organize our wedding night timeline (grand entrance, first dance, toasts, announcing different events like cake cutting and lion dancing). He also helped set up a speaker/mic system for our outdoor string quartet (additional fee). From our initial meeting, David was fully prepared for any and all questions. He is super flexible and accommodating with last-minute changes and has been invaluable for bouncing ideas off (e.g., how past weddings have decided to do things). I’ve never had experience planning such a large (230-person) event before, and David’s extensive experience was invaluable. David is excellent at understanding what we wanted and when we weren’t sure, he was great at suggesting options and offering solutions or alternatives. He got back to us almost immediately whenever we reached out for questions and was also happy to link up through Zoom when we needed a quick brainstorming session with him. To reference his music skills in particular: My music genre tastes differed from my husband’s. We also wanted to ensure the older crowd felt included with some music from older generations. In addition, we wanted our friends to dance and have fun with primarily pop music from 2000-2015. Despite these challenges, David created a fantastic music set. He knew how to keep the dancing going and when to let the crowd chill during the wedding night. On the wedding day, there were some last-minute changes to the schedule (additional toast speakers), and he readjusted the schedule with our maître d' and ensured the transitions between the events remained smooth. Calvin and I received compliments from guests on the music even before the night was over! I highly recommend booking David for your wedding and any major event you might have. I can’t recommend him enough to friends and family who have upcoming weddings.

We couldn't recommend Remixologists and DJ Benja Styles enough (and our drummer addition Barb!) Ben was amazing to work with during the entire planning process, had all the answers for us, hit the nail on the head with the music selection we wanted (and made it easy, sent spotify playlists and created a spreadsheet) and kept everyone dancing all night long. I could not recommend them enough if music is as important to you as it was to us!

Once the party started I couldn’t get it to stop. I was literally pushing people out of the venue at the end of the night bc no one wanted it to end. He hit the vibe we were going for dead on, and included everything that we asked for which may not all have been “typical” wedding music as we enjoy a lot of punk music. He was kind, professional, relaxed, and the process leading up to our big day was easy on their platform. We had a few calls leading up to make sure everything was set up and the pronunciation of all names was done right. From the dinner music to our last privet dance it was a blast!

We have nothing but good things to say about DJ Benja Styles. We felt very confident partnering with him after our first conversation and he exceeded all of our expectations. He created an energetic atmosphere that kept our guests dancing all night long. We had so many compliments on our music after our wedding. Would highly recommend him to anyone!

My wife and I secured The Remixologists for our wedding over a year ahead of our date. After doing our fair share of research and interviews with companies in the greater NYC area we knew The Remixologists was the clear choice for us and the party we were envisioning. The sample playlists they provide make it obvious from the first listen that these DJs are talented. You realize your money is going to somebody actively mixing and reading energies, an artist, not somebody solely hitting the “Next” button. We decided that Luke, DJ CoolHand, was the best fit for our taste. The only aspect of his professionalism that was more impressive than his DJing was his communication with us in the months leading to the wedding. These are highly stressful months in which many vendors are being juggled. It was amazing to touch base with him and have the feeling that no time had past since our last conversation. His memory was superb and he was a very calming and reassuring presence when our lives felt hectic. Our Zooms, phone calls, and emails resulted in an incredible party enjoyed equally by teens, grandparents, and every person in between. You cannot go wrong with Luke, you cannot go wrong with The Remixologists.

Oh my gosh Simon (DJ Taiga) absolutely ROCKED our wedding!!!! My husband and I had sooooo much fun dancing and singing and we truly had the most perfect day and night. We had many guests of different ages and cultural backgrounds come up to compliment us (like we had anything to do with it?!) on his skills as a DJ!! My husband is 100% Portuguese and I am not. Having the Portuguese culture incorporated into our wedding was very important to my husband and his family. Simon sent us some sample Portuguese playlists and truly went the extra mile to ensure the Portuguese component flowed naturally throughout our wedding reception. He totally knocked it out of the park! Simon's transitions were seamless, he read the crowd beautifully, he played many of our favorite songs (most of which we did not tell him in advance!), and kept our dance floor packed all night!! Simon truly helped make our dream wedding a reality - we cannot thank him enough!!! Some of our guests asked for our DJ's information for future events - if that doesn't say it then I don't know what else will! Simon was fabulous and incredibly helpful throughout all of our wedding planning! He was extremely responsive via email and was always down to hop on a Zoom to clarify anything for us. We're so sad our wedding is over, but we are looking back grinning because it was better than we ever could have imagined. We credit Simon as the number one reason why we had so much fun at our reception - it was a priceless experience! We hope our paths cross again at events in the future!! These guys know how to party! I worked with Tristan aka DJ 9-Volt and he got the vibe of the wedding exactly right! Postponed twice due to Covid and they were so accommodating. We had a little scheduling delay during the wedding and you never would have known it - he kept the party going and got us through to the end without breaking a sweat! DJ 9-Volt dropped a set that got everyone up and dancing. What a party!

You can not go wrong with Remixologists as your DJ for your wedding. We had DJ Ben for our wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, and it was a perfect experience. Prior to the wedding day, Ben was available for any questions we had at any point. They also have a program that you can use to be in constant contact with your DJ if needed. We didn't give Ben much guidance, we just gave him a link to a playlist with a few songs from spotify and he was able to take that and create such a perfect, fun, dance-filled night for us. He really has a talent for understanding his clients and tailoring his music perfectly to their interests. You would have thought he knew us for years. From impromptu backup music to some of the speeches to keeping everyone on the dancefloor the entire night, I would not have changed anything from our wedding night. You can trust Remixologists wholeheartedly to do an amazing job at your wedding. We couldn't recommend them enough.

I had the pleasure of having Ben DJ my wedding in mid-June. From our first call together, I found Ben to be very responsive and organized. He responded quickly to messages, and provided helpful templates that my fiancee and I used to help with reception planning and song selection. Closer to the wedding date, we talked through song selection, the flow of the reception, and name pronunciations for the wedding party as well. It was clear throughout this experience that Ben cares a lot about providing a good experience for couples on their wedding day. He put in a lot of effort into pronouncing the names of the wedding party correctly, he asked about the dress code for the event and was dressed very professionally for the event, and when we realized last-minute in our wedding planning that we needed a sound system for the ceremony, he was able to help us out as well. On top of this, Ben did a great job as a DJ as well, getting the party going after dinner while being responsive to our song/genre preferences too. Overall, I would highly recommend working with Remixologists and Ben in particular!

We were very adamant about finding a “cool” DJ for our wedding (surprisingly hard to find) but Lee from Remixologist delivered! We didn’t give much direction (just wanted to make sure pop punk and 90s was on the list) and Lee definitely got our vibe. The dance floor was lively all night - at one point one of the groomsmen shouted “the hits just keep coming”... and they did! I had guests come up to me afterwards and tell me this was the best dance floor they’ve ever seen at a wedding and I’d have to agree. Definitely recommend!

Wow!!!! Ben and Zach were absolutely incredible!! My guests were on the dance floor the entire night, and I had so many people telling me that the music was the best that they had heard at a wedding. Ben was our DJ and Zach was the saxophonist. They both truly made the night!!! Ben was so great throughout the planning process, answering any questions I had and easing any nerves that I had. I couldn't recommend them more!!

If you are looking for an epic dance party at your wedding, Ben Coleman is the person you should hire. From the moment he started playing, we had people dancing in all corners of our reception - dance floor or not. Our dance floor was never empty for a second. Even our bartenders were dancing to the beats he dropped. He effortlessly changed between genres that appealed to all generations at the wedding and read the crowd so well. We had people constantly say “We tried to leave the dance floor for a break, but every song that your DJ is playing we can’t walk away from.” Additionally, we received so many compliments from our guests about how awesome he was. Even though our guests were impressed, most importantly he created so many magical moments for us as a couple. We gave Ben the most obscure song to walk down the aisle to, and he was able to remix and loop the song without a problem. We did the horah and it was chaos unleashed (in the best way possible). He chose the last few songs of the night himself and it created some of the best and special memories. We originally came into the vendor process knowing that we wanted a DJ who was equal parts professional and fun. 5 minutes into talking to Ben for the first time, it was easy to tell that he was the best at what he does. He is incredibly flexible - and is able to take as much or as little direction towards your wedding playlist as you want. We changed our first dance song the day before the wedding and he didn’t blink an eye. He does not spend that much time on the mic because he doesn’t need to - his playlists and remixes will get your guests to the dancefloor without prompting. We hired him for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and he perfectly tailored the music for the vibe of each event. We have no regrets hiring Ben and would recommend him to anyone - one of the best parts of our wedding hands down.

DJ Taiga (Simon) set the bar REALLY high for our friends' future weddings! His mixing was AMAZING and he really set the mood all throughout my entire wedding. Multiple people came up to me throughout the day and also the day after and asked where I found him because they were blown away by how great he was. DJ Taiga seamlessly mixed between songs, never skipping the good parts but also not staying too long on any single song that you have to endure the weird non-danceable parts. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. But even on top of that, I also really appreciated how responsive DJ Taiga was before the wedding and how curious he was to really understand what we wanted at different points of the day. He nailed our "space disco" reception theme (no easy feat, for sure) and worked in tandem with our planner to make sure all things sound went smoothly during our wedding. Small touches like helping me re-edit the a cut of a song for our second dance (to get rid of the weird distortion) from our choreographer really meant a lot. I would recommend DJ Taiga a million times over to anyone for any event. If you're on the fence, get off the fence and book Remixologists ASAP. Thank you so much Simon!

Our experience with Remixologists was awesome! You will not get the cheesy, weird DJ experience with them! It’s going to be an amazing party with great music, led by an awesome DJ. Our experience from beginning to end was seamless. Our DJ Ben had great communication and helped us stay organized during the entire process. His timeline was amazing and he did a great job working with our venue. We loved the attention to detail, like double checking bridal party pronunciation!!! He is also great at knowing exactly what song to play and quickly learned what vibe we were going for even before the wedding day. Our cocktail hour and reception music was amazing and we received compliments all night that we had an awesome DJ. Finding a wedding DJ can be overwhelming but as soon as we booked Ben & Remixologists, it was smooth sailing. Ben was amazing and really kept the party going — 10/10 would recommend! Remixologists (S/O DJ Taiga) has distinguished itself as the premiere solution in event entertainment. One of the major questions that arose during the wedding planning process was whether a DJ or band was best suited for reception entertainment. Within minutes of DJ Taiga beginning to spin, everyone but the octogenarians were on their feet and we had an unequivocal answer to our initial quandary. Ahead of our big day, Simon (DJ Taiga) conducted numerous calls with us to ensure expectations were set on both sides in terms of deliverables. Beyond the frequent check-ins (via phone or email), Remixologists had a centralized portal for all relevant wedding documentation so that we as a couple could collaborate with our DJ in real time and easily access pertinent information. Part of that comprehensive onboarding process with whichever DJ you book will also include direction on what you as the host should be thinking about in terms of what to play and what needs to be emceed. Obviously as the audio experts, Remixologists put together incredible mixes, but Simon incorporated a LOT of our feedback in terms of songs and artists that we liked. Two weeks out of the big day, we had one last call to finalize all elements of the day and then Simon was excellent in liaising with our wedding coordinator to work out all logistical issues in the run up to the event. As I mentioned at the top of this review, Remixologists truly proved why they are in a class of their own at the upper echelon of the entertainment game the night of our wedding. Simon was the perfect host for the event and was able to play many of the songs and artists we loved while still mixing in crowd pleasers and the occasional filthy banger. One additional consideration that I had not even thought of until Simon (DJ Taiga) arrived at the venue was the size of the equipment. Everything he brought with him was compact and lightweight and not intrusive like the speakers and DJ booths of yesteryear. Certainly helped keep the focus on the event itself and not the man behind the curtain. All in all, Remixologists should be a no brainer hire. They are responsive and professional, but more importantly, they bring the heat on the dance floor.

Simply put, Simon and the Remixologists were an absolute game changer for our wedding. Between the debate between a band and a DJ, wanting a real party atmosphere and vibe for our friends and family, we knew this decision would be one of the most important we’d make in the planning process. From our very first call with Simon when we shared with him our vision, we knew he was our guy. His origins of DJing college parties set the stage for the mood we were looking for. A refined, yet high-energy, dance-heavy PARTY. And that’s exactly what we got. He worked in every song that was important to us, shared the stage witg us, incorporate some songs that the “older” folks would like and gradually transitioned the night into a full on dance party. He brought the energy and guided us through a night that we will never ever forget. Simon gets an 11 out of 10 and any wedding will be vastly more fun by having him as your DJ.

Wedding reception was in midtown NYC. The DJ (Jamz Bond) took the wedding reception from good to great. All I heard were compliments from family and friends about him. It was non stop good music and dancing. Worked with us craft great walk out and intro music. An excellent professional DJ.

We chose to have Remixologists for our Brooklyn, NY wedding in early May and I can't say enough good things about them and specifically Ben (DJ Benjastyles). We decided early on in our more-than-year-long wedding planning to use Remixologists after listening to a few sample playlists that we absolutely loved. Throughout the entire process working with them as a vendor, Ben was extremely responsive and organized and often gave us advice or suggestions based on his past experiences that truly contributed to the incredible success of the wedding celebration. My wife and I, collectively, have a very wide array of musical interests from instrumental metal music, to post rock, to disco, to R&B for which Ben was extremely accommodating and incredibly capable of incorporating into our evening--from the Explosions in the Sky song to accompany the wedding party processional to the Beegees, Queen, Nelly, and Various 90s hits that created the best dance party we could've hoped for. Ben was open to all of our music selections and worked them into our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception without a hitch. His ability to read the crowd and seamlessly mix the music in response was phenomenal and we received countless compliments on how good he was. Apart from the music, Ben was a great emcee for the evening and his timing was perfectly in sync with our expectations and the timelines we had established with him during planning. He was charismatic and well-spoken and made all of the transitions of the night fluid. Ben was also very accommodating in meeting with us whenever we had questions or updates and was open and honest with his feedback and direction. We hired Simon/DJ Taiga for our wedding from Remixologists and had the absolute best time. From the first intro meeting we could tell that he would listen and respect our music choices while curating an incredible wedding playlist from ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to create a truly unique musical experience. The dance floor was packed all night and we kept getting compliments during and right after what an awesome job he did and how great the DJ was including what would be normally generic cocktail music turned into a reflection of us. We felt so comfortable working with Simon and appreciated his organized approach and using Basecamp and spreadsheets to help track everything. Thank you again and we highly recommend Remixologists for any wedding as they can perform the whole package.

Ben at the Remixologists did an amazing job getting our guests onto the dance floor - once there, they never left the entire evening. We had such a great time dancing all night long. Ben was great at mixing the songs that would keep our guests on the dance floor based on the list we provided him. He was also very accommodating to a request for a few slow songs at the end of the night from my father, which was really sweet, and he timed it so that it didn't stop the dancing for the rest of the evening. In the planning process, Ben was also very responsive, which is so important.

Amazing communication, professionalism, and most importantly…MUSIC! DJ L’GITT was awesome from day one and made our actual day unforgettable. Our guests were dancing the entire time and that was our number one ask. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Our wedding reception was over the top and we couldn't have done it without Remixologists, specifically our dj, Ben. The fun energy he created for our guests is something we will never forget. We stood on the dance floor and watched so many faces light up for song after song after song. To say it made our night, would be a huge understatement! We've lost count of the compliments we've received from guests- "Best music ever!", "I didn't leave the dance floor once!", "Banger after banger!", "Best wedding I've ever been to!", "Where did you find your dj?!", "Just when I thought I needed a break, another great song came on!". Ben played such an important part in our day and it wouldn't have been as magical without him there. Great music was a top priority for us, and he knocked it out of the park! We simply shared our preferred music styles, a do not play list and a very short list of must plays and he took it from there. Not sure that we can adequately put into words how special Remixologists made the night for us. We respect Ben's talent so much and are sure we'll be hearing about the dj at our wedding for YEARS to come! You can't go wrong with choosing them for your wedding day!

We chose Simon (DJ Taiga) to DJ our wedding at 74Wythe in June 2021. He was amazing! He was a true professional, worked ahead of time with the other vendors on setup requirements, and helped us organize our music choices before the big day. Simon can seamlessly mix a variety of music (pop, house, Latin, etc.) and he had EVERYONE, including Grandma, on the dance floor!

Working with Ben and everyone at Remixologists was an amazing decision. Everyone we worked with was very professional and helped us immensely in finding our vision for all things music at our wedding. We got so many positive comments from our guests about Ben and all of the music from our wedding. Every single person who attended my wedding was on the dance floor- even people who say they never dance! Ben even made a suggestion about how the schedule of the evening should be and I can not express how great this suggestion was! Ben and everyone at Remixologists helped make our wedding perfect.

Remixologists and DJ Ben we’re absolutely outstanding! In the height of covid with cancellations and other things to worry about remixologists handled everything perfect. They were accommodating when we had to postpone with capacity limits then when one of their DJs were sick DJ Ben stepped right in with the “next man up mentality”. DJ Ben brought the energy with his music and the dance floor was packed the entire night. I mean PACKED with all age groups represented. Everyone asked us who our DJ was and what company he was with. The amount of compliments we received about DJ Ben were extraordinary. I could not speaking higher of this company and DJ Ben. Their professionalism and attention to detail are the gold standard.

We had the pleasure of having Lee DJ our wedding in October and he was outstanding! Leading up to the wedding, we spoke to Lee a few times so he could get a sense of the style we were looking for. A week or so before the wedding, Lee went through each and every detail with us to make sure he captured what we wanted on our day. Many of the details were things we hadn’t even considered! We wanted to maximize the amount of dancing at our wedding and Lee provided some suggestions around how we could best structure our day-of timeline. He was always very professional and we appreciated his flexibility when we had to change our timeline last minute due to some confusion with our venue. Day of, Lee arrived early to meet us and prep our ceremony and reception set ups. We had full confidence that he had everything under control which is a real blessing on such a busy day! All of our dances went off exactly as we had hoped and we and our guests had a blast dancing the night away! We received so many compliments from our guests and heard multiple times that they had never attended a wedding with so much dancing! A few even asked us for his contact information to pass along. We were fortunate that our music style aligned well with Lee’s own taste (indie rock and pop as opposed to more traditional wedding tunes), though he really took the time to listen and understand our interests so I’m sure he would have no trouble tailoring the music to any interests. Last but certainly not least, Lee is also just a super friendly and cool person to work with and made for a stress free and great experience!
