We hired DJ Lee for our wedding in Oheka Castle about a month ago, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The dance floor was alive with energy all night, even drawing out the most unexpected guests to join in the fun. Lee’s creativity, talent, and accommodating nature made the evening unforgettable. He truly listened to what we wanted and delivered a musical experience that left a lasting impression on everyone. We found Simon through a friend and he didn't disappoint. The planning process was very smooth and he made sure everything was perfect for our big day. My Husband and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ... we are still getting compliments on the music. I myself work in the wedding industry and I have never seen a dance floor packed all night. We went through Remixologists for a DJ for our wedding on September 27th. We chose Benjamin Coleman as our DJ. Ben was super professional and very organized. He would setup Zoom meetings with my wife and I to over logistics. He provided examples of his remixes over his career and we fell in love with his style. After our ceremony, we hit a snag where we couldn't get all the music we wanted due to time restraints. Ben was able to roll with the changes with ease. We had people at our wedding from ages between 1-80. He was able to mix music from different decades together very smoothly. Everyone at our wedding loved the music and had zero complains. If anyone has the opportunity to pick a remixologist, I 100% recommend Benjamin Coleman. Thank you Ben!

I experienced Simon (DJ Taiga) mixing at a wedding I attended in Philly and had the the best time EVER, so I knew I needed to get his information for my TBD future wedding! Once I got engaged, Simon was one of the first people I contacted because it was a non-negotiable to have him DJ our wedding! Luckily he was available and willing to travel to Wisconsin for the event. Finding a DJ for your wedding can be pretty stressful, it literally can make or break your reception! Ben Coleman (DJ Benjastyles) was a fantastic choice for our wedding. He was very professional throughout the entire process and went to great lengths to ensure we had a terrific reception. If you are looking for a wedding DJ who knows how to keep the party going from start to finish, DJ Taiga (Simon Tai) is the one you need. Simon demonstrated an incredible ability to read the crowd, play the perfect mix of songs, and keep the dance floor packed all evening. Simon’s skill in curating a diverse and engaging playlist was impressive. He managed to blend a variety of genres seamlessly, ensuring that there was something for everyone. What truly set Simon apart was his ability to work with the crowd. He had an intuitive sense of what would keep guests on their feet and engaged. The dance floor was never empty, and it was clear that Simon has a knack for gauging the mood and adjusting the music accordingly. Beyond his musical prowess, Simon was professional and personable. He was easy to communicate with, took the time to understand our preferences, and ensured that our vision for the night was realized. We also added Barbara on drums and Zach on saxophone to the team and they were both amazing too! Their addition of live music to Simon’s tracks added a level of energy that made our wedding unforgettable. So many of our guests said that our wedding was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, and it is in large part because of how awesome Simon, Barbara, and Zach were. We can’t recommend them enough.

Simon was absolutely spectacular. He included us in his extensive prep meetings with the bride & groom to amass playlists of our favorites, meticulously planned the reception and conducted the event with incredible skill. The dance floor was packed all night. He even got the young and old out together. People I hadn’t see dance in 40 years! Amazing. If we could give him a “6” we would.

My husband did a ton of research as we were looking for our wedding DJ and was so excited when he found DJ L'Gitt (Lee), because his style and some of the samples were exactly what we were looking for. We knew we made the right choice during our conversations with Lee ahead of our date, as he asked thoughtful questions, refined an audio file for my husband's dance with his mom, and had a clear understanding of what we wanted to hear and feel. The day of, Lee was set up well ahead of time and tested everything to ensure it all went smoothly. He also pulled us aside briefly to check in and confirm that everything was as we had discussed, which we really appreciated. Once our event started, Lee exceeded all expectations. From his MC'ing to mashing up songs we requested with his own choices, everything he did was so above and beyond. Everyone LOVED him, the dance floor was packed the entire night, and we could not have had a better time. Lee absolutely crushed our wedding, and we are so thankful we chose him to curate the soundtrack for our party.

Luke aka DJ Coolhand was our wedding DJ and we loved him from the moment we had our pre-booking interview to our prep call and finally at the wedding! The day of our wedding was a record breaking storm in NYC and there were a lot of traffic/logistic problems but Luke arrived on time and did multiple checks to make sure all of the sound was perfect! We felt like he had everything under control at all times and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The music was great all night and all of my guests had a great time! We didn't give him a list of music to play, he just read the room and all of the music selections were perfect. Thank you for making our wedding perfect, Luke!!

Ben and the whole Remixologists team are the absolute top of their game! Music and atmosphere drive so much about a successful wedding, and when we look back, we (and our guests) keep raving and raving about the music. My wife and I were looking for a mix of throwback pop and modern EDM. We did a few late nights of research and stumbled upon the Remixologists website. After listening to a few mixes, we reached out and were relieved that they were available! We got set up with Ben (aka Benja Styles) to start planning immediately. Ben was really wonderful to work with. We had a very detailed timeline that we collaborated on, and he went the extra mile to connect with our day-of coordinator to line everything up. Most importantly, whenever we started to get anxious about details not coming together, Ben put us at ease. We made up a handful of Spotify playlists — Definitely Play, Do Not Play, Cocktail Hour & Eating — and Ben perfectly took all of it as inspiration to make every moment awesome. The dance floor was 100% full the entire time — no joke. I was actually a bit surprised, but it really just shows how amazing of a DJ Ben is. He had the perfect track to go with the energy flow of the night and it was such an awesome time that my dad (who is typically pretty reserved) went up and thanked him at the end. Big warm feels from seeing our families up and dancing — which definitely isn’t the norm at weddings! Thank you so much Ben and the entire Remixologists team. We look back at our wedding day and think it was absolutely perfect - you were a huge reason why!

WOW! We were totally blown away by the communication, connection and of course the PARTY that DJ Benja Styles brought to our wedding. We met in advance to establish our general music throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour and dance block and he delivered! David Cruz (aka Jams Bond) absolutely Killed it at our wedding in October 2022 (better late then never). Each DJ set had a clear theme, was full of energy, and the music appropriately matched the energy on the dance floor at a given point in time. David was also very thoughtful in working with us to incorporate some jewish and Israeli music, which is not part of his "normal" set list. He approached these conversations with curiosity, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to make the event live up to all the hype. He also took my feedback when I wanted to edit the composition of a few custom tracks we worked on together and was very helpful in putting this together. Throughout the event, David was professional, friendly, and worked with the event staff to reposition the speakers at one point before the event started. He did this with enthusiasm and not frustration. A great presence to have at your wedding! We had DJ Lee (L'Gitt) at our wedding and he was AMAZING!! We had such a blast and our guests were on the dance floor the entire time, exactly what we wanted. We had multiple guests that are planning their weddings in the area ask for his info. Not only was Lee phenomenal day-of, but he was so helpful communicating with us in the weeks leading up to help us with song selections, preparing a cut of our first dance song in advance so we could practice, and sending playlist suggestions for our after party. We also had a rain scare day-of (luckily it didn't happen), but Lee was flexible and prepared for whatever weather could have come our way. Outside of being a DJ he is an awesome person - wish we got to spend more time with him! Would do anything to relive our party thanks to Lee!

DJ Jams Bond was a dream! He listened so carefully to what we wanted, but also brought his own expertise. The dance floor was lively and uninhibited all night long thanks to him. We wanted oldies, disco, pop, some 90s hip hop - he did it all, even managing to take a last minute request on the fly. He was also a great MC, announcing all the speeches. Perfect vibes all around

Remixologists were an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We cannot stress this enough: of all the partners, vendors, suppliers and others we worked with to plan our special day, Remixologists were BY FAR the most responsive, organized and reassuring. They were the single entity who alleviated stress and anxiety – rather than causing it. Simon was fabulous to work with throughout, and we cannot say enough amazing things about DJ Ben. He was thoroughly prepared, arrived at the venue early, and delivered an incredible performance as both DJ and MC. One of our guests said, “Every song was a fun surprise.” We wish we could throw another party just to hire Ben again. 5+ stars for Remixologists! Give them a call if you want the best.

The Remixologists are NEXT LEVEL. We had Ben as our DJ who comes from many years experience playing at some of the biggest clubs in NYC. And he absolutely did not disappoint. Music at a wedding is crucial for the party so this is where you need to invest. Choosing Ben is the best investment you will do. Not only will he play all of your hit songs and then some but properly reads the room and properly mixes new school with old school which keeps EVERYONE on the dance floor. PLUS, we invested in a saxaphone player and drummer for the cherry on top of every song. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE AND WORTH EVERY PENNY. If you can, request Barb the drummer - you think you're cool and talented until you see Barb in action. We did not leave the dance floor once. The only time was to go to the bathroom but even then we were afraid to miss the next song because we knew it was going to be a banger. The DJ is the one consistant thing all 200 of our guests keep raving about. We know you're on your deep search for the best DJ at the best price etc etc. so I hope this review helps you narrow it down. I was not paid to say this. They are that good and deserve all the credit. We will be on this wedding high for a long time thanks to Remixologists.

I had the pleasure of working with David Cruz (aka DJ Jams Bond) for my wedding in October ‘22. From our first Zoom call, David and the entire Remixologists team was super responsive, organized and knowledgeable. What really stood out was his strong attention to detail, such as making sure he knew how to pronounce all the names of the wedding party. Most importantly, David was extremely flexible and had a wealth of musical knowledge. We covered everything from Frank Sinatra to The Killers. David was also able to accommodate last minute changes with a surprise event my wife planned very close to the wedding day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience working with the Remixologists team, and David in particular. We would strongly recommend them for any upcoming events.

DJ Lee (L'GITT) blew us away at our recent wedding. From the second he started DJ-ing, the dance floor was packed, and it stayed that way the entire night. EVERYONE raved about him and said how amazing the music was. My favorite part was that he played music that everyone - from our grandparents down to the younger folks at the wedding - wanted to dance to. Beyond that, he was just a pleasure to work with and very professional. We could not recommend him more, and our only regret is that we can't get married and hire him again!

DJ Benja Styles, Barb and the entire crew at The Remixologists delivered everything they promised and more than I knew I needed. Let's start with the most important part... the music. During the booking process (which was extremely easy and user friendly) I was asked for a bit of background on my relationship to music. This question felt purposeful to me... and I believe it was used to help match me to the appropriate fit for the big day. They matched me up with DJ Benja Styles and couldn't have been more spot on. We did an intro zoom call so that DJ Ben and I could chat about musical tastes, desired vibes for the evening and just get to know each other a bit. I think what struck me most was a feeling of comfort that Ben truly understood the eclectic musical tastes of myself, my wife and our guests. Everything from Rage Against the Machine to K-Pop, Frank Sinatra to Wu-Tang, and everything in between. He understood the assignment, and he proved that at the party! He knew the exact song to play at the exact moment, I don't think I've ever seen a DJ with more skill for reading a room. I was originally on the fence about live band vs DJ. I really like to hear the recorded versions of my favorite songs on the dancefloor... but cannot deny the energy a live band brings to a party. Luckily The Remixologists have a solution for that! We decided to add Barb Duncan who is an INCREDIBLE drummer to the set up. Barb played along with the songs while Ben spun... and it added SO MUCH energy to the night!! I think the amazing thing about how well Barb played, is that she performed enough for you to feel her presence, with perfectly timed syncopated rhythms... but not so much to overshadow the songs. She knew to dial it back on certain songs or let it rip on others... and our guests were raving about the sound! I highly recommend going this route for a unique experience, especially if your playlist is heavy with rock and hip hop! The dance floor was like an explosion of amazing energy (I posted some pics to prove it)... and just when you thought they were gonna let up and slow things down a bit... the party just kept intensifying. This was per my request... we didn't want any dull moments. I will NEVER forget that night, and there are so many core memories I have because of the work that Ben and Barb did. It was absolutely perfect. My friends and family still talk about what an amazing party it was. As far as the overall experience outside of the music.. the communication was ON POINT. Their use of Basecamp to share important spreadsheets and documents was super helpful in keeping organized and making sure that no details were missed. I became so fixated on detailing the playlists that I forgot we actually needed to think logistics... timelines for speeches and key moments, names of the bridal party and family members for announcements, song clips for curated moments... we even had a few games played throughout the night the Ben expertly MC'd for us! My head was spinning at the amount of things we needed to keep track of but Ben is a PROFESSIONAL. This clearly was not his first rodeo and he knew exactly how to guide us through the process and how to keep the evening moving along smoothly. He worked in tandem with our wedding planner and coordinator and we had no worries on the big day. I even had a special request to perform a surprise song for my wife and Ben provided the set up I needed. Professional, personable and polished, the best!!!

I highly recommend you hire DJ Ben!! I am a Jamaican American, and it was necessary to highlight both cultures at our wedding. DJ Ben was able to accomplish more than I could have ever imagined. No one could get off the dance floor, we danced the night away. DJ Ben played old-school (the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s) reggae that resonated with my Father, Uncles, and Family from Jamaica. As well as pop music, r&b during dinner, basically everything I asked for, and more! DJ Ben was super professional, responsive, and organized. Remixologist set us up with the right DJ to make our wedding ever-lasting and DJ Ben a forever friend!

Music was the MOST important thing to my husband and I for our October 2022 wedding. Music is what brought us together and plays a huge part in our love story. We could not have been happier choosing Ben at Remixologist to DJ our wedding. From the beginning Remixologist made the process of working with them incredibly easy. Ben is an amazing DJ! We talked briefly with him before our wedding and he created the most amazing set to play at our wedding that embodied our music style. DJ Benja Styles is excellent. He was in charge of music for both the ceremony and reception. We had a mostly younger crowd (20-35) at the wedding. I didn't sit down once the dance set started" "I wish we went with a DJ like that for our wedding." Prior to the wedding, Ben was super communicative and friendly without being overbearing. Our plan for the wedding was "Start classy, but turn it into a rager by the end of the night." Ben captured the vibe we were going for completely and knew exactly what to play to keep the party moving. Excellent transitions, never let a song overstay it's welcome, and executed every planned song perfectly. Worth every penny. Best Party Ever! Luke was phenomenal to work with. He listened to and delivered on everything we wanted. He played an amazing mix of music that got everyone up and dancing throughout the night. If you want a nonstop party you came to the place!

From the beginning of our wedding planning process, my husband & I knew we wanted a unique DJ. NOT a typical wedding DJ who makes you cringe all night with their MCing and dance floor fog machines. We knew from our first call with Ben that he was for us - all about the music and just understood our taste from the get-go. The best compliment I received at my wedding was that I looked like a bride who truly enjoyed my wedding - this was thanks to Ben! Remixologist and DJ Jams Bond were incredible. They very tech savvy which made payments, scheduling and collaboration really easy. DJ Jams Band (David) came through huge for us on putting together a few custom pieces we wanted for the ceremony and our first dance. I should also note that of the many highlights at our wedding, I had multiple guests of all age groups come up to me during the reception to specifically mention how great the music was and to ask whether I had specifically curated the playlist (I had not, that was all David). Remixologist on a whole were kind, courteous, professional and most importantly super fun.

He played all the music we were hoping for and added in his own song choices to get people dancing, which I am so grateful for. He was the perfect emcee for our NYC wedding, and he was extremely fun and energetic without being boisterous like some DJs at other weddings I have been to. All of our guests loved him and kept saying that he was playing the best music ever and changed the songs at the exact right time!! He also did an amazing job balancing the sound levels, which was somewhat of a challenge at our venue. The music was just the right volume for dancing, yet people could still hold a conversation at the tables and actually hear each other. He is extremely experienced yet brings a youthful energy and he is just the best, most lovely guy. Truly do not look any further than Simon and his team, the Remixologists.

We had Ben as our DJ and we couldn’t be happier! He was easy to work with and very professional. We simply told him our taste in music and he delivered! Some of our guests have grabbed us at our wedding to let us know the music was really good. They were also amazed about the drummer addition! It sounded like a live performance at times. My brother-in-law reached out to Ben after our wedding and will be having Ben DJ his wedding in 2023 :) we are excited to see Ben again, as guests this time!! You are guaranteed an entire night of dancing if you choose Remixologists. Another thing I found important was that the entire Remixologists team were organized and communicative, which helped a ton during wedding planning!

Our wedding was only last night but I had to hop on here to leave a review for DJ Taiga (Simon)! I am sooo happy we went with Simon for our wedding day/night. He was so easy going to work with, especially when it came to how particular I am about what music I wanted played!! Everyone told me how impressed they were with the music from the moment they entered the venue space until the last song. When it was over, I could have danced for another four hours! The dance floor was packed all night and everyone had the best time. I am so grateful to Simon & remixologists!! Thank you, Simon!!!!

We cannot speak highly enough of DJ Ben! Throughout the wedding planning process he was incredibly professional, responsive, and collaborative. We were excited to work with Ben given his skill in reading the crowd and getting everyone on the dance floor, and wow did he crush it! His MC'ing and DJ'ing were both exceptional and so many guests told us both the night of the wedding and in the days afterwards how it was the most fun wedding dance floor they'd experienced. We cannot recommend Ben and Remixologists more, so terrific!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Not your average DJ wedding!!! 10000X better! I am SO happy we hired remixologists for our wedding. We had DJ Lee as well as a live saxophonist, Zach and live drummer, Marlon. The three of them together was absolutely incredible. What we love about this group is that they are so different than other wedding DJs. Music held a huge importance to us because it is something we feel can make or break a wedding. It is also something so close to our hearts as we met at a live show. This is not your standard wedding dj music, It felt like we were at a live show. That’s what we wanted!! Most times wedding music is the same songs, annoying interruptions on the mic, etc. This is NOT remixologists. They create a VIBE. DJ Lee crafted a set that was so specific and special to us as a couple. He really listened to our story and our wants. That meant so much to us. And while he was mixing in the moment, Zach and Marlon were playing live sax and drums. We keep getting comments about how Zach was the life of the party. He was in the middle of the dance floor, playing the sax. The people loved him!! The music was our favorite part of the night. We did not leave the dance floor the entire night. We had so much fun, I don’t think we said hi to anyone! We cannot recommend this group enough. If you want your wedding to be the most epic, fun dance party and music is important to you, GO WITH REMIXOLOGISTS!!!

Ben DJed our wedding in July 2022 and he is the best! Can’t recommend him and the Remixilogists enough. From start to finish, working with the Remixilogists was great - even as we had to change our wedding date many times over the last few years, they were always very understanding and flexible. Ben understood our style of music and how we wanted the party to flow and nailed it - he was a huge part of what made our wedding truly perfect. Our guests had the best time, everyone was on the dance floor all night, and so many people came up to us to tell us how much they loved the DJ. Thank you Ben and team!!

After 10 years of attending friends’ weddings, our top priority was choosing a DJ that understood our vision: a wedding that felt like a club. Ben blew it out of the water. I have never had so much fun in my life. Banger after banger. The dance floor was overflowing all night.

Wedding Event: Hotel Bethlehem 9/3/22 My husband's family is West Indian and both sides of our family are music fanatics, yet have VERY different taste in music. We had every walk of life at our wedding so we were sweating bullets before we found Benjamin Coleman (DJ Benja Styles) and the *amazing* drummer Barbara Duncan. We hired them during Covid and continuously had to move out our wedding date. It was EFFORTLESS working with Ben and their team. Before Ben and Barbara we had so many zoom meetings with potential djs that were too afraid to dive into music they never heard of and didn't want to ruin their reputation. We asked several djs to give us a little sample of West Indian mixed with American and NO ONE WOULD DO IT EXCEPT BEN. That is confidence!!!!! Even during the wedding Ben was more communicative to us than our wedding planner!!!!! DJ Benja Styles is an AMAZING dj for interracial couples, and we received SO MANY compliments from wedding guests about the drummer Barbara Duncan. She was seamless!!! My husband's family have been to hundreds of indian weddings and several said this one was the best. How much of a better compliment can you get??

From start to finish, Simon (DJ Taiga) & Remixologists were nothing short of amazing. Not only is Simon so friendly and warm, but he is extremely detail-oriented and goes above and beyond, making every song special and unique. Every song and playlist was meticulously & strategically placed - he read the crowd so well and effortlessly blended many genres together. We had a fusion Indian/traditional Western wedding, and hired him for the Indian ceremony and reception. He took so much time and care into making sure everything flowed seamlessly. Everyone (young & old) was on the dance floor the whole night. After the wedding, people could not stop asking who our DJ was, including the drummer. They understood the assignment!! We had the best day ever and are so grateful, and we could not recommend him more. We hope to have another party just to have him play for us again. :) XOXO!!

From the very first interaction and throughout the entire wedding planning process, the entire team at Remixologists was incredibly responsive, professional and helpful. Ben stayed in touch with us throughout the wedding planning and took the time to get to know both me and my husband beyond just our musical likes/dislikes. We love all types of music and Ben was able to capture all aspects of our list and then some - we had guests coming up to us throughout cocktail hour, dinner and the reception to comment on how amazing the music was. Ben by far exceeded our expectations and made our night that much more memorable.  We would highly recommend!

My husband and I came across Remixologists first from a google search and then they were also included in a list of recommendations from our photographer (Peach Plum Pear Photo). Another clue we found worthy of noting was their website. They definitely took the time to maintain a look that was modern and stylish. Simon was responsive and arranged a meeting with available DJs. We picked DJ L'Gitt and he did not disappoint. He was just as friendly, warm and inviting as the day we initially spoke. Fast forward closer to the wedding, he reached out for the final meeting. He really wanted to hear our story, our background, where we grew up, etc to personalize our wedding. He checked up on us throughout the night and his emcee-ing was smooth. To top it off, the music was amazing. We gave him some direction on songs/ artists we really liked but honestly just told him to fill in the gaps. So many people came up to us during and after our wedding to compliment on two main things. The food and the music. Everyone really enjoyed the night and we reached out goal - to have a great party. DJ L'Gitt made the night memorable and seamless. Honestly, great hands to be in for a kick ass party!

David Cruz, part of Remixologists DJs, has been an absolute wonder. Our wedding would not have gone nearly as smoothly or been as fun without him. DJs are essential to weddings. My friends advised me that the two most important things are the music and the food. They set the atmosphere, coordinate the other scheduled events for the night, and adjust the music to the crowd's energy in real-time. David went above and beyond. He helped us organize our wedding night timeline (grand entrance, first dance, toasts, announcing different events like cake cutting and lion dancing). He also helped set up a speaker/mic system for our outdoor string quartet (additional fee). From our initial meeting, David was fully prepared for any and all questions. He is super flexible and accommodating with last-minute changes and has been invaluable for bouncing ideas off (e.g., how past weddings have decided to do things). I’ve never had experience planning such a large (230-person) event before, and David’s extensive experience was invaluable. David is excellent at understanding what we wanted and when we weren’t sure, he was great at suggesting options and offering solutions or alternatives. He got back to us almost immediately whenever we reached out for questions and was also happy to link up through Zoom when we needed a quick brainstorming session with him. To reference his music skills in particular: My music genre tastes differed from my husband’s. We also wanted to ensure the older crowd felt included with some music from older generations. In addition, we wanted our friends to dance and have fun with primarily pop music from 2000-2015. Despite these challenges, David created a fantastic music set. He knew how to keep the dancing going and when to let the crowd chill during the wedding night. On the wedding day, there were some last-minute changes to the schedule (additional toast speakers), and he readjusted the schedule with our maître d' and ensured the transitions between the events remained smooth. Calvin and I received compliments from guests on the music even before the night was over! I highly recommend booking David for your wedding and any major event you might have. I can’t recommend him enough to friends and family who have upcoming weddings.
