We’re not your average wedding and event DJs—we believe equally in the power of a well-organized event timeline and “One More Time” dropped at exactly the right moment.
We’re trusted by industry leaders and influencers like Louis Vuitton and Bruno Mars* to create the kind of mix that complements star-studded events—we bring that very same fire to family-oriented, can’t-stop-talking-about-the-dance-party weddings. *Ahem, yes, we’ll pick up those names we just dropped.
Where do we spin? Just about anywhere. We’re based mostly in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Philadelphia, but we’ve played weddings from Maine to California, and as far as Italy. (The Hamptons, Hudson Valley, New Jersey and Maryland are all in our frequent travels.)
How do you get people to dance? Well … push your coffee table aside and give our mixes a listen. That’s how. (No, but seriously, you should put our mixes to the test—take us to the gym with you or let us provide your workday vibes—but just know we can’t be held responsible for dancing in public.)
We’re a little bit nerdy—there are three ivy-league grads and a few classically trained musicians in our crew—and a whole lot of fun. We’re unapologetically music-obsessed and equally mesmerized by the stories of every couple and client we work with.

I was in and could not wait for him to be part of our day! He is warm, approachable, communicative and truly makes the day unforgettable. I had recently lost my dad before our wedding so it was an emotional day but Ben helped us to work through intentional moments for remembrance and then a transition to dancing and celebration that felt natural and cathartic.
I would recommend Remixologists to any couple, my sister had another DJ at her wedding and he was phenomenal, but Ben deserves a special recommendation because he is just that wonderful. We never left the dance floor because we had such an amazing time! Thank you Ben, Andrew and I appreciate you being a part of our day!

not exaggerating when I say that once we opened the dance floor during our reception, it was packed for the entirety of the night with excited guests from many generations singing and dancing along to his impeccable set from start to finish. Ben impressed us so much with his attention to detail, responding directly to how our guests reacted to each track, seamlessly transitioning to the next, feeding into the vibe while still surprising us with exciting twists and turns.
As emcee for the night, Ben couldn’t have been more professional. His announcements were clear, even the difficult names were pronounced perfectly, and every music cue during our cocktail hour, ceremony, cake cutting, and reception was perfectly timed.
Ben provided us with very easy-to-follow instructions to help him shape our night. His communication with us was crystal clear; we knew exactly what he needed, and we trusted him to carry it out. We met with him a few times over Zoom in the year leading up to the wedding, and he worked directly with our wedding planner, who recommended him, nailing every detail and request made along the way. I was never once worried or anxious about our decision to work with Ben and Remixologists, as it was very clear he understood exactly what we were looking for, and he was friendly and confident throughout the entire process.
Working with Ben was hands down one of our favorite parts of our wedding planning and the event itself. Now a month out, we’re still getting compliments from our guests about how much fun our reception was. We wholeheartedly endorse Ben and Remixologists. Simon played for five straight hours without a single dull moment — not one song had an empty dance floor! He also perfectly handled our Polish traditional toasts after the ceremony and did such a great job pronouncing the Polish words — it meant so much to our family.

From the moment we met him, he kept us calm with his easygoing personality and professionalism. When we explained our music nerves - my wife and fam being rock fans while my side of the family preferred hip-hop and R&B - he assured us that he would make it happen.
The result? I was dancing from the moment we walked into the venue. From our walk down the aisle to the first dance to even the music playing as we had dinner, everything was absolutely perfect. Multiple times throughout the night, people came up to us and raved about the music. People danced for five hours straight. It was incredible.

We went over with him multiple times that we wanted the Albanian music to play during only one dance set and yet he took requests from family during his meal time and let it play for a lengthy amount of time. He seemed annoyed when approached about changing it. At 930-1230 when the formalities were over we said we wanted a major dance party and he started playing slow dance music at 1130 which caused a very sleepy vibe and people actually thought the event was over when we had another hour. He did not change this until one of the bridesmaids told him he had to turn it up. There were multiple times he played a song that sorta cleared the dance floor and we trusted him to read the room but it didn’t feel like he was. We felt his transitions were quick and abrupt, nothing like the mix we had previewed, which was why we ultimately chose him.
Overall we were disappointed, it wasn’t great but it wasn’t the worst. It was somewhere in the middle and with what we paid and the work we put in on our end it’s just really disappointing. The company is great, we just wish we had gone with someone else in the company

first and foremost an amazing DJ: he seamlessly mixed songs, reading the room and ensuring the party never stopped. He was also on top of everything leading up to the wedding and helped us navigate the organization. He reached out to coordinate with the venue to make sure things ran smoothly and met with us several times to make sure the music was spot on for all the events on the day of the wedding.
Ben was also super helpful and flexible when we ran into some weather related changes day-of.

The day of, Lee was set up well ahead of time and tested everything to ensure it all went smoothly. He also pulled us aside briefly to check in and confirm that everything was as we had discussed, which we really appreciated. Once our event started, Lee exceeded all expectations. From his MC'ing to mashing up songs we requested with his own choices, everything he did was so above and beyond. record breaking storm in NYC and there were a lot of traffic/logistic problems but Luke arrived on time and did multiple checks to make sure all of the sound was perfect! We felt like he had everything under control at all times and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The music was great all night and all of my guests had a great time! My wife and I were looking for a mix of throwback pop and modern EDM. We did a few late nights of research and stumbled upon the Remixologists website. After listening to a few mixes, we reached out and were relieved that they were available! We got set up with Ben (aka Benja Styles) to start planning immediately.
Ben was really wonderful to work with. We had a very detailed timeline that we collaborated on, and he went the extra mile to connect with our day-of coordinator to line everything up. Most importantly, whenever we started to get anxious about details not coming together, Ben put us at ease. We made up a handful of Spotify playlists — Definitely Play, Do Not Play, Cocktail Hour & Eating — and Ben perfectly took all of it as inspiration to make every moment awesome.
The dance floor was 100% full the entire time — no joke. I was actually a bit surprised, but it really just shows how amazing of a DJ Ben is. He had the perfect track to go with the energy flow of the night and it was such an awesome time that my dad (who is typically pretty reserved) went up and thanked him at the end. Big warm feels from seeing our families up and dancing — which definitely isn’t the norm at weddings!
