You can tell during our engagement photos that we were a little stiff never taking professional photos before. By the middle of the photos, you can see our real smiles and we genuinely had fun trying all different poses. On our big day, he worked so well with our bridal party and families. From the classic first look to a candid of me high fiving my Dad before walking down the aisle, we're so excited to have so many wonderful memories captured. together and would need a lot of help and guidance to make them look natural, but Ian immediately made us feel so seen and comfortable and knew exactly what kind of photos we wanted! We did both the engagement session and wedding with him and I 10/10 recommend this! On our day of, he was incredibly efficient, clear in his direction but made everyone feel comfortable while still having fun! We got many compliments about him from our bridal party. And we got all the photos fast much faster than what he originally estimated. I recommended him to a different friend prior to our wedding and they also booked him and he even recognized them and said hello when he saw them at our wedding! Overall Ian is not only a phenomenal photographer who gave us the most perfect photos of our wedding day, but he is also such a kind, warm, fun person that will just add to your wedding day experience! Covid and completely started wedding planning from scratch. After our engagement shoot back in 2019, we knew Ian was the one vendor we could absolutely not part with for our wedding--whenever it would be. Ian was so insanely patient with us while we found a new date, venue, and everything else. When wedding day finally came, Ian was there for us! His energy is so amazing and intoxicating that you cannot help but smile (naturally!) when you're around him. He makes everyone feel excited, confident, and beautiful in front of the camera. The entire day, Ian was so organized and helped the timeline move along so seamlessly. He got literally every shot we could have ever imagined and then some! He captured our day better than we could have ever hoped for. My husband and I cannot stop looking through all of our beautiful photos and reliving the whole day. We love Ian so much and are so, so grateful for him!

o as expected on your wedding day. My now-husband and I got married on what ended up being one of the hottest days of the year. Yes, early August can be relatively hot, but this was on another level. With photos planned for the afternoon before the ceremony, and with our limo's AC not working as expected, we ended up making some day-of "modifications" to the timeline that we worked on together with Ian, Mikayla, and Alex, including shortening the amount of time we spent taking photos outside and choosing to take photos inside, rather than outside of the church. Prior to receiving our full album yesterday, I was extremely nervous about the quality of photos given the extreme heat and humidity on our wedding day. Unfortunately, no hairspray is going to hold curls in 104 degree heat indices, it was uncomfortable, and sweat stains abound across the bridesmaids. To our glee, the photos turned out BEAUTIFULLY despite the circumstances of the day. Ian and his team are responsive, creative, and will "direct traffic" on the day of your wedding to help photos (and timeline) run smoothly. We have tons of photos of family, friends, and some truly special images that we will cherish forever. I cannot express my gratitude more to Alex and Mikayla especially. I had Ian do both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures, and I knew from the first few minutes of speaking with him and then reassured again within the first 10 minutes of our engagement shoot that I had made the right decision. I was very focused on finding a photographer that had a timeless look and feel to their pictures and editing, someone who could balance both well positioned and candid pictures, and someone who would make us feel comfortable and had a great attitude (after all you're spending a long day with them!). Ian checked all of these boxes and more! Ian's photography style is so timeless, I know I'll look back on my pictures 20 years from now and they'll stand the test of time and still look amazing and very relevant. Ian did an amazing job taking pictures of everything I wanted (I had a whole list of specific pictures and people I wanted together that he made sure happened!), while also taking breathtaking candid pictures. Lastly, Ian's personality is just incredible. It's one thing to have a photographer that you think is nice, it's another thing to have a photographer who is the ULTIMATE hype person; making you and your fiancé feel very comfortable, laughing with you, giving you such great encouragement and ensuring that you're having a good time. Additionally, during the day of, Ian was great at flexing with timeline changes, squeezing getting ready pictures and pictures at the church into a smaller amount of time than originally thought and staying later in the night to make sure we got all of the "end of the night" pictures we wanted. I was a bridesmaid. He made us all feel so confident and comfortable - Adarae was also a joy to work with during that wedding - and the photos turned out so uniquely cool and a perfect representation of the couple. When my now husband and I got engaged I knew we needed to hire Ian and we couldn’t be more thrilled with all the photos he’s taken for us. He has a way of making you feel so confident, beautiful / handsome and like straight up models during the photo shooting process. We love his natural and effortless style that doesn’t feel too posed or stuffy - perfect for our style and his eye for capturing the perfect backgrounds is awesome. Working with him ahead of the wedding for engagement shoots helped us get more comfortable in front of the camera so that on our wedding day in November we felt so good and what he captured was the pure joy we felt on that day. He made the process super simple and got to know us over the phone outside of our photo shoots which we loved and helped us feel even more connected to him. He is very responsive and turned around our photo galleries so quickly - especially on our wedding day! Our family couldn’t attend the ceremony due to COVID so Ian went home and sent us a sneak peek of our photos within hours so we could share them with our family over dinner - that personal and caring touch meant so much to us. If you want to feel like a bunch of supermodels you should definitely book with Rempel Photography because Ian will encourage you and your husband the entire time about how good you guys are looking! It can be difficult to plan a wedding remotely, but Ian was great at checking in with us ahead of time and making sure we had our questions answered. The day of they both were extremely patient and made sure to get the shots we wanted, while also giving us the space to focus on each other and everything going on that day.
