I booked Remy as a wedding guest in Honolulu, Hawaii, and I was truly blown away. One of the things I appreciated most was how well she listened. I wanted to look like myself—just elevated. I didn’t want heavy makeup, and I didn’t want to feel overdone. Remy completely understood the assignment. She worked efficiently, stayed calm, and created a look that was absolutely stunning while still feeling natural. My makeup photographed beautifully, lasted throughout the event, and I received compliment after compliment all day and night. Not only was my makeup flawless, but my hair looked incredible as well! Everything came together perfectly, and I felt confident, polished, and beautiful. Beyond her talent, Remy is simply wonderful to work with. DO NOT USE REMY REED!!!!! UNTRUSTWORTHY & WILL LEAVE YOU IN TEARS ON YOUR WEDDING DAY!! I booked Remy months before my wedding, we had a contract for her hair & makeup services, I ...

paid in full in advance (including an extra fee for an early start time), and we confirmed the date/time/location a few days before my wedding. AND SHE WAS A NO SHOW! ON MY WEDDING DAY! She did not answer until SEVEN HOURS AFTER she was supposed to show up. Just ignored all my texts & calls for 7 hours & then offered me a weak excuse of an apology after completely screwing me and leaving me extremely stressed on the MORNING OF MY WEDDING. Unbelievably unprofessional and I will yell “do not hire her” from the hilltops to every person who asks about my wedding day. Giving one star in the review simply so I can post this review. I did get my money back, so there’s the justification for the 1 star.

was nothing less than amazing. All I told her was I wanted “soft glam” and she delivered beyond my expectations. Even though I’ve been positive about wearing my hair down and curled for years, Remy was somehow able to convince me to try a low updo on my trial day after seeing my dress. She ended up turning me “team updo” for the big day. My sudden change of heart even surprised me, but I was and still am ecstatic with the turnout. Remy was patient, easygoing, professional, efficient, and quick while still paying attention to detail and listening to what I wanted. Both makeup and hair stayed put all evening up through the trash the dress photos at the end.

She was very responsive by text and email in the weeks leading up to my wedding and had an organized online portal for entering info about makeup preferences and inspo pics prior to meeting. I feel like she really took the time to understand the look I was going for. She's easy to talk to and has a calm, soothing manner, which helped put me at ease during my trial and the day of my ceremony. She even went the extra mile to cover-up the sunburn I got the day before. I've never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day, all thanks to Remy!

The makeup and hair came out better than I expected and she really went the extra mile to make sure it is exactly how I wanted it to look. Also, it was very humid that day and my hair did not get affected at all because Remy anticipated that and made sure to use the right products. everyone looked beautiful and I am so glad that I was able to find her! Not only was she really great to work with she was also very generous with her time. We did a trial makeup and hair session as well as many further conversations about the styling by text and email. She is very kind, responsive, helpful, and reliable. Not only is Remy amazing but she also gathered a great group of women to help with my wedding party's hair and makeup the day of the wedding. Each stylist was was fun to interact with and it was really great getting to watch all of them put their artist skills to work on my beloved friends and family. Remy is incredibly kind, fast to respond to emails and text messages, and does a wonderful job with makeup. She did my makeup for my sister's wedding and we all loved her work, enough so that I hired her for my wedding a few years later. I had 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and myself. Remy brought someone with her to help make everyone beautiful. We were going for the more natural look and she achieved it with everyone. No one was too glam or too over done. I had airbrush makeup done, and it lasted all night long, didn't appear cakey, and my husband thought I still looked like me with the makeup ;) success! She was also just such a great person to have around because she's so calm. It helped to set the mood for the wedding day. I would definitely recommend Remy!
