We just had our NYE wedding at the renaissance & everything went exactly as we had hoped for. From beginning to end, the whole staff was more then accommodating and super helpful. ...
Our guests could not stop talking about how friendly the staff was and how delicious the food was. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a boston wedding! We also were lucky to have seen the fireworks from the ballroom at midnight- it was perfect for NYE! We cannot thank everyone at the renaissance enough for making our day so special- 12/10!
On September 12th, we held our wedding reception at the Renaissance Waterfront hotel. We had the fortune to work with two great coordinators at the hotel, Sarah Traub and Jennifer ...
Fruscillo. Jennifer really went above and beyond with EVERYTHING for our wedding.
In all honesty, we know that it is hard to walk into an event or project that is already rolling along and we were concerned that something would be overlooked. We had booked the hotel almost two years prior and as you can imagine, a lot of back and forth happened during that time period. Jennifer captured EVERYTHING and more. She has been extremely attentive to our communications and paid attention to the smallest detail. She is pleasant and professional with everything that she does. It is obvious that the role of being an events coordinator is tedious and overall hard work. It is obvious that Jennifer can steadily roll along without flinching. It is impressive.
The food was awesome, we had the beef w/lobster ravioli, chicken w/polenta and a vegetarian dish. All the food was served HOT and fresh. There were no complaints from the guests on the food, which is saying a lot for me! The venue was beautiful, we booked the ballroom with floor to ceiling windows (I believe it is called the Aegean ballroom). The hotel rooms were great and the service was above and beyond expectations. Would recommend this hotel for any event in the future.
We got married at the Renaissance in April 2013 and loved everything about the hotel! Ashley, our event planner, was fabulous to work with as was the rest of her team! They were ve...
ry accommodating and helped make our day as special as could be! I LOVED getting ready in the large, beautiful suite they gave me with all of the girls. Being so close to the waterfront made for a perfect backdrop for photos.
The day before our wedding we took our close friends, family and out-of-town guests to a mid-day private tour at Harpoon Brewery. Then we celebrated our rehearsal dinner around the corner at Salvators in a private room. We had a ton of out-of-town guests and they loved being on the waterfront with all of the new restaurant options. Also, the large, beautifully decorated hotel bar was a perfect post-wedding party location.
The food was delicious! The service was spectacular, they really rolled out the red carpet! I'm so happy we picked the Renaissance - they did an excellent job! It was the best weekend of our lives!
The Hotel was marvelous. Would have future events here. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
We planned our Boston wedding from Florida. We had a short time while in town to choose a location one year prior to our wedding. This hotel was one of 5 hotels we saw. It is new a...
nd modern and fits our style. What sold it was the sales associate, Lindsay Leete, who gave us all the information we needed and worked with us to create a contract we wanted. She was so nice! After we signed our contract, we transitioned smoothly to work with Elizabeth Spies-evans, who was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. She spoke with me over the phone several times and answered countless emails, not just from me but from my mother as well. She was patient and gracious and provided us with great ideas. The tasting was set up very professionally and was easy for us to go through. The food was delicious! We had a lot of guests from out of town stay there as well. All our guests were very pleased. We heard no complaints. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It is pricey, but Boston is one of the most expensive cities to have a wedding, and we found it to be comparable in price to other similar hotels but with better customer service and more knowledgeable staff.
Excellent service. Best service of the wedding weekend. The location is perfect for those traveling from out of town (close to airport, south station, etc). On site bar and rest...
aurant make traveling to have a good meal unnecessary. Beautiful hotel and we got outstanding group rates.
I don't even know where to begin!! The Renaissance is a brand new hotel so having something fresh and new was amazing. It's style is very modern and clean. The staff was amazin...
g so attentive and really helped us through the whole process. That day even those things went wrong they took care of it all and made sure everything went smoothly. I LOVE the Junior Ballroom especially the lights...it was so beautiful. The food was amazing...everyone was raving. They also upgraded our suite to a presidential suite...which was AMAZING! We came back at night with rose petals leading to the bed that had a heart on it. And some champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It was a perfect day!
