The best choice we made for our whole wedding journey was booking the Renaissance for the reception. We worked with McKenzie Mauck the whole way through the process from first inqu...
iries to the night of the reception. She is super organized, helpful and very understanding. The best part of the whole thing is how inclusive yet customize-able the venue is. Included in the price is the room rental, linens, catering, cake, and a room for the bride/groom the night of the wedding. You still get to choose out all your linens and cake and everything. There is a tasting ahead time where you meet the chef and get to taste three options and decide from there. We got so many compliments on the food from the appetizers down to the cake. It was all wonderful! I just wish my dress wasn't so tight so I could eat more!. The hotel staff is so accommodating and helpful before and the night of. They do all the setting up and cleaning up. You just come back in the morning to get your personal items and your cake topper, which they box up nicely for you. You can block a bunch of rooms for your guests and they help with booking. If you're looking for ease of planning and organization, definitely choose the Renaissance!

tly. The food was delicious and I have received so many compliments. The room was set up beautifully as well. I would definitely recommend this venue for the Carmel area! It was so convenient to be able to leave the reception and walk right to your room.
Amazing to work with. Amazing location. Great service. I loved working with them.

ad not heard anything from them. Still had no idea what was going on. Decided to try to get a refund of my deposit because had not been contact for almost a year. Would not refund. Called Renaissance and they were so great to work with. I heard from them weekly if not daily. I felt confident in what was going on and finally excited about my wedding instead of worried. If I could do it all over again, I would have started with them.
Did I mention they were a fraction of the price of the other place meaning I had more flex room in my budget for flowers, decor and everything else.
