I didn’t realize how important wedding video could be until I saw Pablo’s work. Video was actually not a huge priority for me when we started planning our wedding. I really just wanted to capture the speeches, the big moments, and some of the memories with our families. I spoke with a few local wedding videographers and, honestly, my reaction was basically, “I guess these are nice? They all seem pretty similar.” Then a friend came home from a wedding in Florida and sent me their wedding video when I asked how the wedding was. I had never seen anything like it. That was the moment I realized what was actually possible with wedding video. I wanted my wedding day captured through Pablo’s eyes. I messaged him asking if there was any chance he would make the trip to Philadelphia for our wedding, fully expecting him to say no. He said yes, and I was SO excited. Now that I’ve experienced having Pablo there on our wedding day, I understand exactly what makes his work so different. I wouldn’t even describe him as a traditional wedding videographer. He’s a cinematographer. Pablo has this incredibly unique artistic eye and an ability to take an entire wedding day (hours of tiny moments, big emotions, chaos, laughter, movement, music, family, and love) and turn it into a cohesive story. Not just a highlight video, but an actual story. A wedding day moves unbelievably fast. The bride and groom are constantly being pulled in different directions, photographers are moving around you, timelines shift, and there often isn’t time to stop and perfectly stage a shot. Pablo somehow navigated all of that while still finding opportunities to create the beautiful, intentional moments he envisioned. When he couldn’t curate a shot, i saw him adapt and capture whatever was happening in front of him even if that meant squeezing around photographers or finding an entirely different angle. He was also just an absolute joy to have around. He radiated positivity and excitement all day, which made such a difference. You could tell that he genuinely cared about capturing our wedding well. And if that wasn’t enough, this man drove 15 hours to our wedding because he didn’t want to risk a flight. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know about the level of commitment he brings to his work. Our wedding was just 2 days ago, so I haven’t even received our video yet (will update review once i get it!). And somehow, I already feel completely confident that it’s going to be something incredibly special. I have no idea what moments he captured that we never even saw, and I cannot wait to see our wedding day through his eyes. If you’re considering wedding video and want something that feels artistic, emotional, cinematic, and uniquely yours, book Pablo. I went into wedding planning thinking video was a nice-to-have, and Pablo completely changed my perspective on what a wedding film can be!!!

Every step of the way Pablo was involved and sharing key input to the filming of our wedding; he took bridal portrait shots, getting ready shots, you name it and Pablo got it. Along the way he responded quickly and kindly to our feedback, shots we wanted him to take, shots we were less interested in grabbing, and on the fly reception changes that add to the chaos of a wedding day. Pablo managed to work with our other vendors to perfect lighting, sound, and shot angles; and was very helpful in guiding our poses and actions to maximize the quality of each shot that captured our day. Each key moment of the wedding was captured and having just shared a handful of the content during the wedding the quality of Pablo's work was impeccable. Pablo blew our expectations of video out of the water and then some. Not only did he capture all of our ideas into film, he made them more beautiful and memorable than we could have dreamed. The video he made for us was amazing, from start to finish. He captured the beauty of our venue, the vibe of our personalities, and the style of our wedding.
