eye when I named my budget, just asked whether I was okay trying on floor samples (which I was) and then knocked it out of the park with the dresses she pulled based on my inspo photos and styles of interest. (I pulled style numbers in advance off their website, which DOES show actual dresses, unlike some places). Not only did I find an absolutely beautiful dress that everyone raved over (and I felt like a queen wearing), at an affordable price, I also found the perfect veil at an accessories appointment several months later, after the dress alterations were done. Seriously, this store is a gem. If you're having trouble finding the right dress - or even if you're just getting started - give this place a try. One of the best, smoothest experiences of my whole wedding planning process.

I told her my budget right away and she made sure not to bring any dresses outside of my budget. She was truly incredible to work with and she wasn't just trying to make a sale. She made me feel comfortable and really listened to what I wanted. I ended up finding my dress and also doing alterations through who they recommend as well once the dress came in. Absolutely wonderful experience!

I thought she offered the perfect assistance (despite COVID limitations!) - she helped me zip and button, clipped the dress, arranged the hem, gave space, fetched a cape for the look, asked good questions (not too many or too few, too) and gave me the perfect amount of time in each dress without rushing or dawdling. She was professional but very kind too and very easy to work with. I had been to two other stores earlier in the day so my shopping party was getting a little tired and cranky by the time we arrived, but everyone cheered up quickly and had great things to say about the experience at Renee Austin Wedding! I was able to call and email with questions and always received helpful answers quickly from all their staff. I'm really happy with the dress I bought from them!! I can't emphasize enough how great Ondrea was and how she really helped me finally feel like I was shopping for a wedding dress.

They first asked me what my vision for my wedding day was, "What did I want it to look like?" Then, they picked out a few dresses for me to try on. It made it such a fun and exciting and relaxing process! When I came back for my second visit, I had two dresses in my mind that were my favorite. After trying on the first, I tried on the second, I just knew it was my dress. As I stepped up on the platform to look at myself, Eliza exclaimed, "Girl, you look like a queen!" It was the dress I couldn't stop thinking about, and in that moment I knew it was MY dress! When I said "Yes to the dress," Eliza went to check the stock for the dress based on my measurements. She came back and said, "Okay, here's the deal. We can have the dress made, but it'll come 3 days before your wedding, which honestly is not enough time. But there is one dress in your size in stock that will arrive in 2 weeks." It happened to be the only dress available in the entire country in my size! Getting my dress was truly a miracle, and I LOVE it. And the veil I picked out was absolutely perfect for my dress. I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day!! Thanks Renee Austin for helping me choose my dress in a way that was calm and fun. I felt like a queen!

etting my dress from there. I went to about 10 different dress shops before pulling the trigger on my dress but by far I had the best experience with Renee Austin. Eliza was the greatest, she honestly took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for - I felt like she was one friends while working with her. Renee Austin had a great selection of dresses, great customer service, and was very accommodating with scheduling around me as I live in Detroit. I can't recommend them enough.

ompare the two experiences! Even though the salon was busy, Rachel, my consultant, was attentive and fun, and made me feel like a million bucks! Even other consultants walking through the salon would compliment what I was trying on! It was such a fun and friendly atmosphere, and there was such a great variety of styles and sizes in dresses. I wish I could go shopping there all over again, and I will totally recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress!

entire experience at Renee Austin was exactly what I envisioned and hoped for. The store is beautiful and the associates are kind and knowledgeable. I found it to be relaxing and non-judgmental. They let me take my time and listened to my opinions. I especially loved being able to try on a dress in my size and did not have to feel self-conscious squeezing into a small sample size. I found the perfect dress and I could not be happier.

After an hour of attempts...my assistant hit the nail on the head with a random idea (added an overskirt and belt to a fit and flare). From there on out it was over....I could not have been more happy with my dress and the service I received at Renee Austin. I highly recommend them for any bride!!!

worked with Mia who took the time to learn my style and somehow pulled the perfect dresses from their huge selection. She had no complaints when I kept asking to put “the dress” back on and she brought us champagne when I said Yes to the dress! When my dress came in, it fit perfectly thanks to Mia’s measurements. It needed some minor alterations and Mia continued her fabulous customer service by recommending a trusted seamstress. I could not have been more pleased. Plus, I found the dress of my dreams. Thank you Renee Austin! Brides, if you live in Michigan, make the trip - it’s worth it!

I had a lot of fun trying on dresses, and all suggestions were within the realm of the "vision" I had for my wedding dress. The shop had a large changing/modeling area which made having family around a lot of fun. The atmosphere made me feel so fancy! I was in a weird situation, looking for a dress in Grand Rapids for a wedding there, but living in Los Angeles. After I bought my dress (the ladies were all genuinely excited), I was able to work with them to schedule my fittings and adjustments around a flight schedule, and they were willing to hold my dress and veil to accommodate me not being around.

had multiple family members come in from out of town so that meant a lot to me. The store offered plenty of room for my mom, sister, mother in law, sister in law and cousin to sit comfortably while I tried on dresses. Emily helped me during my appointment and she is the absolute best. We had talked on the phone when I scheduled my appointment and immediately clicked. At the start of my visit, Emily had me show her some photos of what I liked. She made sure to ask some clarifying questions and then picked a few dresses for me to start with. After I realized that what I thought I liked didn't end up looking how I envisioned, we started to experiment and improvise. Eventually we ended up putting together multiple separate pieces to create the most beautiful, unique, perfectly styled dress with a capelet and belt on a more simple dress. Once I had the entire look on everyone got emotional. I couldn't believe that I had found my dream dress at my first appointment. I eventually went back to Renee Austin for my bridal shower dress and would absolutely return for formalwear in the future. The capelet portion of my dress was running behind and they were communicative throughout the entire process. I've recommended them to multiple brides since my experience. I really felt like they were all on my team and wanted to make sure I felt absolutely gorgeous. Way to go ladies. You've got this figured out. Keep it up.

e. Eliza also showed me different veils, but after realizing I'm not a veil girl, she brought me an amazing hair piece that matches my dress perfectly. As my future mother-in-law said, "you have to love a girl who knows her inventory." Eliza absolutely knows the inventory at Renee Austin and that made my hunt for the perfect dress so effortless.

first, and afterwards the other 3 didn't even compare - our consultant at Renee Austin (Mia) was the only one who really listened to what I was looking for in a dress and she found the perfect one for me. She just happened to be there again when I went back to look for my veil and did it again :) They also work with a tailor who did an amazing job on my dress, as well as a woman who does dress preservation who I intend to use. Beautiful dresses, awesome people - I'm so grateful!

wedding dress journey, and Renee Austin was so accommodating. They brought me dresses that best fit with the look I was going for, all in the price range that I had requested. I actually spent $500 under budget on my dress which was so amazing! I also got my bridesmaid dresses at Renee Austin as well, and they all turned out so great. They even had the dress company mail me a piece of fabric so I could match everything else to the specific shade of blue the dresses were which was so helpful. I definitely recommend them for all of your dress needs!
