Renee is absolutely amazing from the beginning of the planning process through delivery of all of your photos. She communicates far more than most vendors, was flexible through the pandemic and has a great team. Her personality makes it so much easier to take photographs. My husband is not someone who enjoys having his photo taken - AT ALL. She was great in encouraging him and captured some really amazing photos. My family was so impressed with her and her team, so many looked at the photos and responded with "We didn't even realize she was there!" The photo album and prints that I received are unparalleled, amazing quality and such brilliant colors throughout all. She truly put thought and time into the layout of the album and it shows. Renee is a truly incredible photographer; from her charismatic personality to her creative way of capturing every moment perfectly. When we first met Renee my husband and I knew she would be a perfect match for us and our family. We initially planned a day of getting ready shots to the church ceremony, solo shots and reception. Even through the Covid-19 pandemic; she worked diligently with us to make our wedding ceremony and solo shots absolutely unforgettable. She worked remarkably with a compact outdoor church ceremony followed by cake and toast on a warm May day. Renee worked closely with all our immediate family for church ceremony shots and family shots; from our 4-year old flower girl to our 83-year old grandpa everyone fell in love with her. We couldn't be more thankful and happy with how professional and kind she is. With the pandemic we had more time for solo shots and man did Renee deliver!!! I preselected local locations that I loved growing up in Jim Thorpe and she really worked with the scenery and knew the shots we wanted captured. From downtown historic streets to the Lehigh River; Renee even hiked a mile and a half with us to a breathtaking lookout for once in a lifetime moments. We highly recommend Renee! You won’t be disappointed with her work. We can’t wait to work with Renee again at our one year ceremony and reception.

Renee was truly a wonderful photographer! From the first meeting she was organized and caring, she made us feel comfortable with her. She offers different packages with different add on options as well we picked a package that had an engagement shot, all day wedding coverage and a few extras so we really got to know her. If you’re looking for someone who will not only get the perfect shot but want to get the perfect shot to make your day special Renee is the photographer to go to. As someone who isn’t a fan of being in front of the camera she made me feel comfortable and guided me through everything, and even made my now husband comfortable with everything! A few weeks before our engagement shot day my husband found out he was getting short notice deployed and we had to move our date up and she had no problem with it at all. She was flexible and professional the entire time and worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted. During the day of the wedding there were a few kinks (my maid of honor was late which pushed back our getting ready picture time line) so we had to move things around and change our timeline but she made the changes with ease my bridal party even complimented how her and her assistant handled everything. As far as a timeline we got our engagement pictures back within a few weeks, wedding previews 2 days later and the wedding pictures a week and a half later. If you are looking for a photographer to take amazing pictures, make you comfortable and actually CARE about you, your fiancé and your day Renee is the beat choice. I would not recommend anyone but her.

Wow! We worked with Renee for our engagement shoot and then immediately decided to hire her for our wedding. Renee was an absolute joy to work with. She had a wonderful arsenal of ideas for poses. She incorporated our ideas from our Pinterest board and she didn't miss one shot that we wanted. The actual photos are stunning and TRULY truly captured how much our day meant to us. We had a small wedding (20 people in total) and Renee merged right in and we hardly noticed her floating around securing amazing photo moments. Renee was the absolute best! Neither me nor my husband love getting our picture taken. She was able to make us comfortable and capture our love! Renee was awesome! She went above and beyond to work with us before and during our wedding. She was moving the whole reception to get great photos and came to the salon early the day of to get our getting ready photos. I cannot say enough good things about Renee! She is a true professional with unreal talent and an eye for detail and is a pleasure to work with. Our photo package came with a free engagement shoot which is exactly when we found out how sweet Renee is. My wife and I live about 120 miles from Scranton, PA (place of the wedding) so coordinating a weekend for an engagement shoot in Scranton was proving difficult. Without hesitation Renee implored us to let her come to us to have the shoot where we live. She pretty much gave up her entire Sunday to drive 2+ hour to us, do a 2 hour photo shoot, and drive home. The kicker? At 8pm that evening we got an email with about 20 edited and beautiful pictures as a "teaser" of the complete shoot - she said she was just too excited not to edit and send some along that same day. And the photos were wonderful! The wedding day was more of the same, Renee was punctual, professional, organized, and prepared. We got the pre-ceremony photos done very efficiently (but NOT rushed!) Renee was our only photographer so she herself balanced the groom/groomsman photos, traveling to a second location for bride/bridesmaid photos all between the hours of 10am and noon. The more I write, the more I realize how she probably undercharged us for all we put her through. The photos at the church were fantastic as we didn't even notice that she was there, and the bridal party/reception shots will be memories for decades to come. Our google drive is now filled with 1,500+ photos of the best day of our lives. I am so happy that I found Renee Catherine Photography. Not only is she affordable, but her photos are everything I could have wanted and more! She did a great job directing the groomsmen where to stand - which was a challenge all in itself. Throughout the wedding, I saw her going the extra mile to catch some photos. I would definitely recommend!! I’m even considering having her take photos for me again - this time for my dad who loves fly fishing, as her work with that is incredible as well!

Renee is an amazing photographer and she is so helpful! I can not say one bad word. Whatever I need she went above and beyond! I had the hardest time trying to figure out my wedding album and she came to my house and helped me pick out the pictures and everything! If you have kids in your wedding party she has the most patiences to make sure she gets the best shot with them! I use Renee even for my family photos and my sons birthday pictures to! She is also very fair priced compared to most photographers around the area! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
