Renee did a perfect job in capturing our wedding day in her photos. She was very easy going and gave us a lot of suggestions for different pictures. Her professionalism helped to put us at ease, and the whole day with her was fun and stress free. We really love the pictures that she was able to give us and I would very highly recommend her.

The day of our engagement shoot was not something my husband was jumping for joy about. He doesn't like attention on him. However, Renee made us feel so comfortable and the day was amazing! She shot us doing what we normally do on a fun Sunday afternoon (brunch, rooftop cocktails, bowling) and the photos were so natural and truly captured us in our reality. Renee is so creative and did things we didn't even realize were happening that resulted in some really cool photos. I felt like a model. She really puts you at ease. For me, I have always thought the most important part of a wedding (besides the bride and groom/love/etc.) is the photographer. I love pictures. They are memories you can continue to look back on over and over. Choosing Renee as our wedding photographer was the best decision we could have made. I am a very awkward person who does not really like to be the center of attention or have her picture taken. Renee took away these fears and made both myself and my husband feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Renee is super friendly and just has such a warm personality that you can't help but love working with her. And my pictures turned out so beautifully. She captured all of the moments from the day and I couldn't be happier with the results! I have had so many compliments on my photos from our wedding. Renee and Gary shot our wedding in June and our pictures came out flawlessly. Not only that but they are also both such a pleasure to work with. Renee helped me to secure a first look place with a somewhat complicated transportation schedule and limited amount of time. She did all of the leg work since I was not familiar with the area. She also did a amazing job shooting our engagement pictures at the D.C. monuments on a busy afternoon. She made us feel comfortable in a sea of tourists and we had so many favorites it was hard to pick a 'Save the Date' photo. We loved the mix of candid photos and portraits that we had from our wedding day. I was just recently in a wedding where the photographer seemed very bossy and intrusive, and I kept thinking to myself how I never ever felt like that with Renee or Gary. We were very happy that we decided on using a second shooter, as it was nice to have pictures from different perspectives during the ceremony and to shoot the groomsmen getting ready. We are so pleased with our choice and have beautiful pictures to prove it!

Renee was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was incredibly helpful from the first meeting through the wedding. When we first met, she gave us recommendations on timing and planning early enough in the process that we could leverage her wedding experience to make the day flow easily, get great pictures, and still have time to have fun with our guests - without any stress. Renee took control of the situation, was a pleasure to have around on the wedding day, made sure family and wedding party were in place and knew the plan, and made sure all photos we had hoped for were taken. Both our engagement shoot and wedding day ended up having some rainy, gray time periods, and you could never tell that weather was an issue with the types of photos we got. She was able to adjust and make it work so we ended up with some really great, and fun pictures to have to remember the occasion. Renee photographed our summer wedding and we are so glad that we chose to work with her! Renee and her assistant Shelby were with us all day and they did a great job of capturing all of the special moments and they were very unobtrusive. We also hired Gary to photograph the first part of the day and it was very helpful to have two photographers. I was especially nervous about group and family photos because I have a large family and they can be difficult to wrangle, but Renee and Gary did a great job at directing our large (and chaotic) group to get great photos. Renee was also very good at keeping us on our tight timeline so that I didn't have to worry about it. We are so thrilled with the photographs and we are happy that we took the time to find a wonderful photographer!

As soon as I met Renee I knew she was going to be our photographer for our wedding! Her sample work was beautiful. Throughout our first meeting she was already sharing her ideas and suggestions before we even booked her! Engagement photo sessions can feel awkward, but Renee was so patient and we never felt rushed. Our engagement photos turned out perfect! We had both Renee and Gary on our wedding day. Both my husband and I felt at ease throughout our entire day. They took thousands of photos and were always thinking ahead and planning the next perfect shot. Renee went above and beyond and I would highly recommend her! She has an eye for perfection and her work is breathtaking!

Renee and Gary are both wonderful photographers, and as a husband and wife team they make your day special. Having two photographers works out well to get all those special shots while both bride and groom are getting ready. I used them for my engagement photos and my wedding photos. Not only are they great photographers they are very easy going and work well with all of the wedding party. Afterwards, Renee has a special knack for putting the wedding albums together and also helping for ideas with larger pictures for display that really turn into art, not just pictures. I can't say enough about them as a vendor and also as people. You can't go wrong with these two!

We loved working with Renee and are so happy with our wedding photos. We were really impressed that she took the time to drive out to our venue with us before our wedding day, since she wasn’t familiar with the space. She was also accommodating of our long list of family photos some particular needs our families had. On the day of the wedding, Renee was prompt, professional and a lot of fun to work with. She made the experience enjoyable, had a calming presence for all of us, and had a great sense of humor for some of the goofy photos we wanted to capture. When it came to finding the best photographer for us, we had 3 things in mind: 1) Since the wedding photographer is NOT a good place to be cheap, we wanted the right balance between paying well, but not blowing half our budget. 2) We wanted a REAL photographer. And by real photographer, I mean someone who knows the art of a great photo. Things like lighting, composition, timing, connection, etc. Not just someone who takes your pictures and your money. 3) But above all, obviously, we wanted someone who would deliver beautiful images. Ones that would capture a little smile here, a quiet moment there. Photos that 30 years from now would make us feel just like we were right back on that day. And that's why we hired Renee. The wedding day was clockwork and easy. From the moment Renee and her team showed up (super punctual and shooting within minutes) they were professional, swift, and stealth. Unobtrusive, yet good at directing when needed. We could easily tell they knew what they were doing, and confident that they were getting all the shots we paid for. The final images were everything we hoped they would be -- A perfect mix of spontaneous laughs, photojournalistic moments and gorgeous portraits. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, especially to someone who really values documenting the day the right way, and realizes that such a huge responsibility should only be left to the best.

We were so happy with Gary. From our first meeting, throughout the day of the wedding, and finally with the finished product, we couldn't be happier. We chose not to hire a videographer for our ceremony and reception and because of the photos we received from Gary, we didn't miss having a video. He and his team captured all the emotions associated with a wedding. In fact, we're sorry we didn't hire them for our Friday night party as well.

My wife and I were so lucky to have Renee as our photographer. She was exceptional. My wife and I met with a bunch of photographers prior to our wedding. There always seemed to be something off with everyone we met. Whether it was their personality, their photography style, or even their editing. We were so relieved after our first meeting with Renee. She had everything we were looking for in a photographer. She spent a bunch of time with us in the freezing cold for our engagement session going around looking for various spots that would make for great photos and it was well worth it. Renee and Gary are amazing! Renee met with me before my wedding to help me scout out the perfect place for my "first look" with my husband. She really took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for. She was extremely flexible when I changed my mind about particular details and just generally very accommodating and easy to work with. On the day of our wedding, Renee and Gary helped put us at ease. They also kept us smiling and having fun, which was awesome. They are incredibly talented and creative. When Renee sent me the online link to the finished photos, I was blown away. I cried, I laughed, and I sorted through all of the pictures again and again, finding it impossible to pick favorites. Renee is awesome! We had Renee do our engagement pictures and she made us feel very comfortable considering how camera shy we are. She did an excellent job directing us since we aren't the most natural in front of the camera. She is very professional and reasonably priced. We had our pictures back within 5 weeks and she's even making a slideshow for us that I know will turn out just as perfect as everything else did. We have so many wonderful photos both candid and posed from our engagement shoot and wedding day, we absolutely love them! We will definitely be using Renee for when we have children. We highly recommend Renee, she's the best!!!

Choosing Renee to be our photographer was by far the best thing we did for our wedding. One of the first things we did once Mario and I got engaged, was secure a photographer. We met with a number of them because my (then) fiance' is into photography and knew exactly what to look for and what questions to ask. In looking at each photographers work, many of them are very talented. But when we met with Renee we just clicked. She is amazing, we felt comfortable with her, and her work is beautiful. She took time to get to know us and to learn of what was important to us. She was even great about giving us pointers for the day of. We first had our engagement photo shoot. She incorporated various locations throughout Baltimore. And sure enough, the last few pictures it was raining. Once we got the photos back, ironically the few in the rain were my absolute favorite. Then came wedding day. We were crossing our fingers that it wouldn't rain. It was cloudy and cold but we still manage to get all the outdoor photos that I wanted. Then, once again, it started to rain. We bought a cool umbrella and took some really great shots. So I am hopeful that when we get the wedding pics back that those will also be just a great as the first set of rainy photos. Renee just seemed to be everywhere the day of the wedding. Even my guests commented on the fact that it seemed like for every special moment that occurred, they looked up and there was Renee and/or her assistant. Again, she made us feel very comfortable, and her assistance was just as accommodating. They are a great team and I would recommend them for any occasion. I am looking forward to working with Renee for future events.

When I first found Renee I was a little nervous that she would be out of our bugdet because her pictures are simply stunning! At our first meeting we know she was the photographer for us. It is commonly said that wedding images are one of the most important investments when it comes to your special day. Renee’ Michele Photography is a true “class act” and she did a brilliant job on our engagement photos (October 2009) and our wedding (May 2010). The images that she captured were simply astonishing – from the engagement session, to our pre-wedding photos, to ceremony and on to the reception, we have received more positive comments about our pictures than any other aspect of the day. We had two photographers shooting our wedding; and most of the time you hardly knew they were there. What that meant to us, especially during the reception…was being able to enjoy it without having to pose a million times during the evening. They captured the emotion; and they captured the candid moments too, but most importantly it felt more natural than we ever imagined. Renee photographed our wedding in July and our engagement last November. When I first met with her, I actually recognized friends of ours and immediately felt comfortable with her expertise. She was extremely accomdating (we were in NY traveling to DC) and she would come meet us each time we asked, even though she was based outside of Baltimore. Renee worked with us to build a package that met our needs for the day (i.e. she was with us for 10 hours!) We had a detailed call with Renee to review the pictures we wanted to take the day of the wedding and went over family potraits, bridal party, and special places that Mike and I wanted to capture the day of our wedding. Our pictures are truly amazing and we couldnt be happier with the quality and quantity captured. Renee did an amazing job caputuring all the fun we had on the day of our wedding and we received nothing but compliments from all our family and friends. Renee even compiled a separate set of pictured that we shared with our friends and family that highlighted our best shots and told the story of our day (also, we had these pictures within weeks on the wedding!) We really just couldn't be happier and we really enjoyed working with Renee!

Renee has beautiful ablums. Unlike other photographers we met with, she takes the pictures and creates the albums herself. Her wedding albums are stunning and it's why we decided to go with her. Renee is very easy going and met with us several times on the album. She was good natured and patient with all of our changes. Her photography is beautiful. She took so many stunning pictures...both for our engagement photos and on our wedding day. We have received numerous compliments on our pictures. We had standard pictures with us and our family on the altar and Renee was able to capture moments with us kissing or our families laughing so even the typical wedding photos came out fun to look at. I can't say enough good things. We loved working with Renee and love the photos!

Totally true, along with most of the other stuff "they say." It's a few months after our wedding and the memories fade SO fast. Renee's amazing photos mean more to me every passing day because not only are they beautiful and artistic, but she did such a fantastic job CAPTURING the emotion, the mood, the scene, etc. My husband and I interviewed 3 other photographers, but we just knew immediately after meeting with Renee that she was the one for us. Renee is very laid back, very professional, and exhibits the perfect balance of telling you what she needs to get the best pictures, but also not directing or interjecting in a way that makes you feel like a prop at your wedding. Our formal portraits were easy and natural, and I never even noticed her the rest of the night. She must have been all over the place judging by the pictures, but I never saw her! We couldn't be happier with our photos. A perfect blend of artistic shots, formal portraits for the parents, photo-journalistic style, color, black and white - all of it. The hardest part is selecting the best! I really appreciated having her assistant there too. Not only did she help make the formal portraits more efficient, but she captured some scenes from different angles giving us a more complete capture of the scene. Working with Renee was easy too. She is responsive to emails. And I am really satisfied that her package gets you a lot for your money. I'd recommend Renee to any of my friends and family - she's a talented photographer and a great person to work with on such a crazy day. Thanks Renee!

We worked with Renee in June 2010. I booked both the engagement portrait and all-day wedding package. We met with Renee at her house beforehand to talk about what she offered--she was very welcoming. We don't live in town so she was pretty flexible with our limited schedule. About a week before the wedding, we had our engagement portrait session at the Lincoln Memorial and Renee told us to get there early to catch the good light. Because of traffic, construction, and our own poor planning we were probably 40 minutes late. I felt TERRIBLE and really stressed but Renee immediately told us to relax and not to worry about it. The engagement session was a bit of relaxing fun during the week of wedding prep insanity. I explained to her that my dad was putting together a slideshow for the reception and she even sent me a dozen of the best engagement photos the next day so he could incorporate them. The wedding day itself went smoothly. I have a huge family and my parents required lots of posed family portraits with every single branch. Not my fave kind of photo (or Renee's) but she was happy to do it and put up with my disorganized, crazy relatives. The photos turned out beautiful but my main compliment is that Renee is so patient. My bridal party liked her a lot--she's not bossy but she knows how to organize people and get the job done. I have spent hours poring over all the photos. There's a ton of them so it's kind of time consuming to go through all of them, but it's fun too. The DVDs of the hi-res photos, slideshow, and engagement session took a while to arrive but when they did they were so high-quality. I just wish I could've chosen more photos for the engagement DVD.

My daughter and I hired Renee to photography her wedding (7/24/2010). Being a bit of a photog wantabe, I thought this would be one task I could get involved in and stay out of trouble. Luckily my daughter is a planner and started searching for photographers months in advance. After talking to a few, we met with Renee, reviewed her work and quickly decided to book with her. We never questioned our decision. Despite my daughter's hesitations on doing engagement pictures (she's shy!) I had Renee shoot some engagement photos – both because “Dad” wanted them and I wanted the couple to get to know Renee. Not only did we get some great shots, but my daughter and fiancé had a great time doing it! This just confirmed we made the right choice. Despite record breaking temperatures, the wedding went off as planned and Renee and her assistant did a fantastic job of capturing the day! We couldn’t be more pleased with the pictures – they were amazing. Renee has a wonderful, stress-free demeanor (boy, it’s no easy job) and was a joy to work with. Her professionalism and sense of humor made her a “welcomed guest” to a joyous event. I cannot recommend anyone more highly – 5 stars all the way.

My pictures were the best part of my entire wedding! They were completely outstanding. The photographer, Gary, was so funny and professional. He was always in the right place in the right time. The pictures were better than anyone else's pictures I have seen and everyone keeps telling me how amazing my pictures are that I have posted on facebook. They were worth every single penny!

They were very easy to work with and did not make us pose in different positions all day. They got the pictures they needed, then left us alone. We hardly realized they were at the reception. They have a fun personality!;They were a little pricey but, you do get two very experienced photographers for the price of one!
