Brian has written more than 10,000 poems across the United States and is the author of the book "The Poetry of Strangers." Brian creates his poetry on a typewriter, which he brought on the travels that inspired his book. As well as operating RENT Poet, he is the West Hollywood City Poet Laureate and was granted an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellowship in 2021.
