the deal. She is friendly, fun, and energetic, and took the time to get to know us and answer all of our questions. She understood our vision right away - a little old school rock and soul, R&B, some pop - and she shared specific videos to show us some of the exact songs we were hoping for. Unfortunately, COVID prevented us from having the rowdy reception we were looking forward to, and we had to cancel the big band when we scaled back our wedding from 130 to 20 people. But Tiana was very understanding, and stuck with us though the ups and downs. We ended up having an acoustic guitarist (Aaron) for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Aaron is extremely talented and professional. Since the venue changed from a winery to a backyard, flexibility was so important. He set up his own system and then mic'd our officiant and worked with her until she was comfortable. Our coordinator was particularly impressed with how independent he was in setup, and said he was very easy to work with. Our guests told us that his music before, during, and after the ceremony set the perfect tone for our intimate gathering. Thank you for setting the mood for a meaningful wedding!

ave anything at my wedding, it would be that band! Flash forward 4 years and Republic of Music is the FIRST vendor we contacted! We planned our wedding from out of state, and they made it so incredibly easy! They were responsive, kind, and beyond fun!! The money is well worth the memories! People tell us all the time that it was the best wedding they ever went to! And that is all because we had this band! I had people ask me during the reception to write down the band name so they could use them in the future. Republic of Music is the absolute best!! If you want your wedding to be FUN, look no further!

Something that I want to acknowledge about their professionalism/expertise is that we originally said we just wanted the band to play music - no games, no interaction with our guests, ect. But once they got going at our reception, they read our guests really well and strayed a little from our original plan. The end result was fantastic! Our guests were on stage signing with the band, they pulled out limbo and a conga line, just the ultimate party. At the end of the day, we were so happy with this big purchase and they were worth every penny.

th this incredible band family, they have done nothing but ABSOLUTELY CRUSH EVERY EVENT, EVERY TIME!! And my wedding was no exception!! They went above and beyond to learn new songs for our father/daughter mother/son dances, and they accompanied my Dad and brother (also musicians) who jumped up on stage to play our first dance song. Each RoM musician is extremely talented in their own unique way, so put together, they are phenomenal. Tiana = master MC (can rally a crowd in the most loving, sincere way), also has an incredible voice and attention to detail! Rick = SHREDS the guitar and keys like no other Kori = his rich and powerful vocals will stop you in your tracks. Truly unbelievable. Ivory Black = can literally sing anything perfectly, but her cover of Led Zeppelin is on another level (my guests were FLOORED) David is the best keyboardist I've ever worked with, Coop schlaps that bass, Noah murders the drums, I could literally go on and on about these top-notch musicians. And not only are they musically talented, but their energy kept my guests jumping the entire night. When they were playing, the dance floor was packed, which was one of the main reasons I went with RoM. Our venue was a fairytale garden, our dessert bar was overflowing with donuts and brownies, and yet the main thing our guests gushed about for weeks after the wedding was the fantastic band.  If you've been to weddings with and without a live band, you know the energy a live band brings to an event is unmatched. I've never performed with, or witnessed a band with better energy, crowd engagement, and talent. Do yourself a favor and hire RoM, as a bunch of their other reviews have already stated: YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

the challenge. ROM exceeded our every expectation and definitely gave our guests something to talk about! Our wedding was destination in Arizona, we are from Texas, and ROM is from San Diego. Despite being in different time zones, Tiana made it easy to talk with her about our vision for our wedding. We wanted modern ceremony and dinner music, followed by an over the top dance party that would get each and every guest out of their seats. ROM had our guests impressed from the very beginning with a beautiful and emotional ceremony. It was also refreshing to give our guests a little dance break right before dinner, which was a ROM party starting speciality. We knew our money was well spent when we looked around the room and didn’t see a single butt in the chair! One of our favorite moments of the night was our epic hora. Again, every single guest was involved and it really helped to get the night started and set the party tone. ROM also got guests involved with a fun limbo session and a sing along that featured some of our guests hidden talents. We didn’t want the night to end, but since it had to there was no better way than with crown surfing. Our guests had never seen that at a wedding before, and they were overly impressed. The experience is truly something that my husband and I will never forget. A true testament of the night came the next day at our post wedding brunch, where several guests had lost their voices from singing with the band so hard. Republic of Music was the best decision we made for our wedding. We would pick them a thousand times over. Thanks a million to Tiana, and the rest of the ROM team.

is more than one opportunity to showcase their talent at more than one event. Arranging for the band's travel to Tucson was easy and more affordable than other bands we hired in the past. In our case, the band was able to drive from San Diego to Tucson. Tiana even arrived a day early to ensure everything was planned and perfect to avoid any unexpected surprises or unanticipated challenges with the venue. That extra care is most important, because as hosts, the last thing you (or a bride and groom) need are unexpected surprises. The ceremony music was perfect, with Tiana handling the vocals with an acoustic guitar accompaniment. Tiana's vocal range is phenomenal. During our cocktail reception, the musical accompaniment was excellent and exactly as we'd hoped. During dinner, the band played at just the right volume, allowing our guests to enjoy their meals and conversation. When dinner is over, look out! Be prepared for your dance floor to be full. In fact, you better ask your venue for their biggest dance floor. Do not skimp on your band budget. It's EVERYTHING! No problem learning new songs. The band even added a few new hits. The band interacted with the crowd and kept everyone engaged, dancing, and frenetic. We even scrapped our speeches because we didn't want to interrupt the party. Even during the load out at the end of the night, 5 hours after they band began, our guests were out there, dancing to recorded music, demanding more! What more could you ask for? Thanks and would be happy to be a personal reference for anyone contemplating this wonderful band!

We had live ceremony music, pre-recorded cocktail music, and live music from dinner through the end of reception. Our guests ranged from 2-3 yr old flower girls to 75+ grandparnets and everyone was on the dance floor at one point in the evening. We saw ROM at a friends wedding and knew they were the band for us. (they were our first booked vendor after the venue!) HIGHLY RECOMMEND! You will be the talk of the family for years to come if ROM is your band! And we even had three family members sing with the band at different points throughout the evening, all of which said they were so fun band to sing with. ROM is truly AMAZING! Thank you ROM!

eccable. Most of all, their first priority was what we wanted. They wanted to know who was going to be there, what mood we expected, what kind of energy we wanted to have, how we wanted to break up the dancing sets. Other bands seemed more concerned with their own needs and abilities; RoM wanted to know what we wanted. Besides the band, they had strings for the ceremony. They played pop hits (Daft Punk, other stuff), Latin (Buena Vista Social Club, Selena), Motown. They even had a singer who could sing in Italian, which pleased my family to no end. How did they play? I can't even begin to explain it. They were better than anyone has a right to expect. Everyone, everyone danced -- the old people, the kids, the mostly 25-35 y.o. crowd. The dance floor was never empty. If you're afraid of stuffy bands who usually play retirement home and horrible Office Space-type corporate events, don't worry. No one left without telling us how much they loved the band. The band is always, always friendly and courteous, and top of it all the price was more than reasonable. We cannot, cannot recommend RoM enough. Thanks Tiana!! <3

e and we immediately felt the great energy they would provide at our wedding. Getting through the planning stages and making decisions for a wedding can be very stressful. Tiana and ROM did an exceptional job of making us feel at ease when it came to the music. ROM reassured us several times that they know how to gauge an audience and they did exactly that. We've had several wedding guests that said they loved the music and that it made the party. Guests danced the night away! ROM has a wide array of music across genres to choose from that they cover extremely well. If there is a song that they don't know they are open to learning it and performing it at your function. You can also customize the group to your preferences, i.e. adding vocals, horns, etc. We enjoyed listening to their playlists when we were deciding on what songs we did and did not want to hear at our wedding. We were so lucky that we found ROM as they made our wedding a memorable party. If you found ROM, no need to look any further. We can't recommend ROM enough!

I flew out a guest singer from New York that is special to my husband and I and the band took the time and learned 12 songs to play for him while he sang. Live music was really important to us, and we wanted a party that would get everyone from my 90 year old grandma to my 10 year old cousin on the dance floor. Republic of Music totally delivered. The set list was perfect for guests of all ages and music tastes, and our dance floor was packed all night. The band is so good at reading the room that they even played a couple of songs that we had not anticipated that about blew the roof off our venue. I will never be able to listen to Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" again without picturing two of my husband's college friends joining the band for an impromptu guest singing experience. Tiana also organized a sing-off battle on the dance floor to 4-Non Blondes "What's Going On" which also had our entire guest list crowded together on the dance floor. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. I can't say this ardently enough: BOOK THEM, you will love them and be so glad that they were a part of your day.

Selecting ROM was the best decision we made for the wedding (maybe slightly behind our decision to get married in the first place but it's close). Starting from the beginning, the ROM team was extremely communicative (which can be rare in the industry). Tiana was supportive of all of our needs while offering suggestions based on her experience (without being pushy). We were able to select the performers that we wanted and the entire planning process was seamless. ROM was also extremely flexible, the day before the wedding we asked them to come a couple hours early for set up due to weather concerns and it was not even close to being an issue. It's hard to put into words how incredible the band's performance was. We were adamant the hora had to be epic to start the night, epic is an understatement for what we got. It was 15 to 20 minutes of pure energy with the guests feeding off the band. The band played high energy dance music the entire night with only a few short breaks. We were involved in the selection of the music and the options and range the band could and did perform was across the genre spectrum. Our guests were on the dance floor from the beginning to the end, and I cannot tell you how many people during and after have told us we had the "best band ever," not even best wedding band ever, best band ever period. I think the loudest endorsement was from a groomsman who said "I'm stealing your band for my wedding" (he was single at the time). If you are getting married get a band, if you're getting a band get ROM, there is no question they were worth every penny from their professionalism to their performance they cannot be beat.

ll night and truly made the reception even better than we could have imagined. A band was our #1 priority so we spent a lot of time looking into and going to see bands in the area. We knew we wanted a big band with a good mix of oldies and current hits on their song list - and most importantly a band that would get everyone on the dance floor and know how to keep the party going. Once we talked to Tiana and saw them live (at a 4th of July show they were playing) we were sold! From the time we hired them they were great to work with – responded quickly to any questions we had and went over the entire timeline with us so we knew how everything would flow on the wedding day. I would absolutely recommend RoM to anyone – you will not regret it!!

at the end of the night we’d close with a live latin band since we love dancing cumbia, bachata, reggaeton, etc. Never would I have thought my husband would present me with a 9-piece band who would provide us with bilingual MC'ing, cocktail hour DJ service, and amazing music and vocals throughout the evening that covered my desire for top 40's, hiphop and RnB, and our passion for latin music. I was hesitant at first because I wanted certain pre-recorded songs played and wasn’t so sure how live covers of some songs would sound like, but upon our first phone consult with Tiana, I felt reassured and confident in what ROM was able to provide for us because of Tiana’s professionalism, personability, transparency, and knowledge and wisdom from working many weddings. She even invited us to crash one of their performances so that I could have a chance to feel them out and meet them in person before deciding to hire them. From the get-go, we had open communication, very detailed instructions, advice, and feedback which made planning our reception so effortless. Tiana listened to what we wanted and worked closely with us. She was patient and encouraging and helped keep us on track when we said we wanted to create our own first dance song. She accepted our last minute request for a live rendition of my father-daughter dance song choice, and it was beautiful and memorable. ROM also took care of our reception timeline for us, which helped me and my wedding coordinator out incredibly. ROM did it all. Not only were we impressed, but our guests left singing and dancing, not wanting the night to end. We definitely wanted to get all our guests out on the dancefloor with us, and ROM did it despite having the challenge of getting my husband's family from Mexico, my family from the Philippines, and our friends from all over the US, young and old, up to dance. They knew what our crowd wanted. Hiring ROM was definitely the right decision and worth every penny. It really should be our friends and family writing this review because they were the ones saying how ROM made the wedding celebration extra spectacular! When you put your trust in ROM, they will deliver an evening that will leave your guests with great memories of dancing the night away with you.

etting married in October of the same year. With a heart full of high hopes I called, and to my (and her supprise) they still had that weekend open!!!! Tiana took call from myself and my mother over the next week and walked us through options, packages, and song selections. She was warm, fun, spunky and helped me get to the heart of what we invisioned for our wedding (big time dance party). Including, taking into account my request for no "grinding music" lol ( I really was not mentally prepared to see my 95 year old grandma "get low." Tiana just chuckled and knew exactly what we meant/ what we were looking for! We had a 190 person wedding with a mix of ages ranging from 3 months to 90+ as well as an expectation to deliver on some Italian favorites!!! Oh boy did they!!! My guests were not able to contain themselves during our 5 course meal and to our delight danced and grooved to their favorite tunes even before the dance floor was officially open!!! My favorite part of any wedding is of course the dancing/ music. I soo apreciated R.O.M.'s ability to put my guests at ease to just feel the music and dance whenever they felt called. After, dinner they picked up the beat and really started to jam!!! They kept the energy up, dance floor packed and guests entertained. We invited a lively crew and instructed the band to not hold back on guest participation. They taught us sweet dance moves to "rollin on the river" and even conspired with my mother on an epic flash mob. ( I am still shocked my mom was able to keep a secrete from me). The R.O.M. team was so engaging and truly kept our guests happy and entertained. It allowed me to be where I wanted to be the whole night on the dance floor surrounded by family and friends. I loved that they were not afraid to come down into the crowd and at the end even pulled us up on stage for the final number! Nothing will ever beat crowd surfing as our "grand exit" I cannot get over how well they read the crowd, encouraged silliness, and helped us throw the party of our lives. They are worth every penny!!! Tiana and the team we want to send the biggest THANK YOU ever!!! Not only did they sing every song we asked, they PERFORMED. - If you don't know what I mean by this, I am talking Tina Turner style dancing/singing/performance. They randomly brought us on stage to sing with them and got everyone involved to the MAX! Every band member was courteous, respectful and have us 100% for three hours! We spoke to Tiana on the phone, and after a few emails we signed the contract and were off to the races. Leading up to our wedding, all of the planning was super smooth. Tiana was very well organized and extremely responsive. We spoke to her numerous times via phone, email, and text. She walked us through every step and made sure that even the smallest details were thought through. We loved how everything was a template in Google Docs, which made her “homework” assignments for us super easy to understand and get through. For our wedding, we wanted band karaoke focusing on 80s and 90s pop songs. Our wedding and reception was fairly casual at local winery in San Diego. And, we didn’t have a ton of space, so we didn’t want it to be super loud and overwhelming. ROM toned down some of “rock concert” vibe, and made it into a classy, fun, and super interactive experience for everyone. Keeping everyone engaged and having fun wasn’t going to be easy because our wedding was super diverse - older Korean family from the East Coast, older Eastern European family from the Mid-West, LA hipsters, Hollywood actors, writers, producers, etc. It was important to us that everyone - EVERYONE - could participate and enjoy themselves. Which, of course, they did! The bride’s 90 year old grandfather got up and sang Mack the Knife… and later, they did a totally off-script, multi-song jam with one of our guests who is the star of a hit TV show, but also a legitimately talented singer. It was like being at a concert and a special guest comes out. Talk about musical range! Tiana and the band kept up the energy and hit every note. It looked and sounded spectacular. Tiana and the band are so talented, creative, and still super professional and organized - how often do you see that combination? They were the life of the party, and our wedding was a huge hit with all of our guests largely due to ROM. We would whole-heartedly say that ROM is worth every dime of the money we spent. We wouldn’t change a thing, and work with them again in a heartbeat! Who knows, maybe for an anniversary party? :)

I did a lot of research on various wedding websites and ROM kept getting the best reviews. I checked out their website and watched so many of their videos, particularly the live wedding videos to make sure they indeed sounded and performed well LIVE. Wedding planning was insane but I had confidence from the start that our choice of ROM was gonna be a hit. From the initial consultation, Tiana helped me form a very detailed timeline from scratch, which we ended up using verbatim for our event. Our wedding planner was very impressed and grateful for her work. Our wedding was mixed with Vietnamese and American guests, from little kids to 80 year olds so we were really worried about making sure our diverse crowd all had fun and that we were not left with an empty dance floor at the end. We wanted to keep it classy but also wanted a real party. The cocktail hour music with the quartet set a very chill and classy vibe. They played "easy listening" music, which was perfect with the Coronado Bay in the background. The dinner music was like a performance show. We had a 7 person band with vocalists Kory, Ginny, and Victoria who each had amazing voices and were all great dancers. They played a variety of top 40s grooves at a volume low enough so people could still talk at their tables. As I did table greetings during dinner, the guests were already telling me how great the band was. For our first dance, they learned a remix version of our song and even added the beautiful element of Ginny's violin playing (at one point in the night I remember seeing Ginny rocking out on the violin while bending backwards!!). My mom wanted to sing a song and they were happy to have her as an honorary bandmate. Then came the after dinner party where the band absolutely rocked the house, playing music for all ages from current top 40s to ballroom music to hip hop to 80s and 90s music. They got the guests participating in the dance lines, "Shout", and "Proud Mary". We were all blown away by the talent. They also danced while they performed, with all band members looking like they were really enjoying themselves. Kory emceed the entire event with the night flowing smoothly. The dance floor was packed til the very end of the night. The energy was so high that my husband even went crowd surfing! We also went thru ROM for our lighting (including uplights and GOBO) which Tiana was able to get us very reasonable prices. The lighting helped set a very classy ambience, in addition to the band wearing pretty dresses and suits (we had the option to pick their outfits if we wanted). I have zero regrets about ROM. They were well worth the money. I cannot wait to book them again for our next big event. Thank you for making our wedding the funnest party ever!

When we selected ROM, Emily & Tiana helped us customize our day from songs, to lighting, to cocktail hour musicians, to wardrobe for the band, order of reception, MC details, etc.... and made great suggestions and were very organized in leading us through the process which made it stress-free for me as the planner/bride! I immediately clicked with Tiana and her team as passion for what they do exudes from each and every one of them! Our reception was off the charts fun! I credit this to ROM because there was not a person sitting during our reception. They had everyone on the dance floor, young and old and my guests have not stopped raving about our AMAZING band selection and how they've never been to a wedding that felt like a concert performance! My wife and I kept making changes up until a week before the wedding and Tiana rolled with it seamlessly and blew our expectations out of the water and put on an incredible performance, both for our ceremony and reception as well as cocktail hour. Also, my wife and I were really bad about giving them any direction as far as where and when to set up and Tiana took the reigns and got it done! The band had a 30ft x 30ft dance floor filled the ENTIRE night and I saw people dancing that have never danced before in their life. If you are worried about having multiple genres of music, stop worrying. We had every genre possible from country to pop to 50's to rock and they were incredible at each and every genre. I honestly cannot say enough, they are incredible. Tiana was able to make suggestions for songs for specific activities such as the garter retrieval and toss and just made the whole process easier for us. She was even able to convince us to crowd surf during the last song of the night and it was EPIC.

Their ability to feel out the crowd and give everyone what they didn’t even know they wanted was truly the craftsmanship of a well-oiled band. When it came close to the end of our reception Tina and the crew brought both of us out on stage and had us crowd surf! I’m not sure that any other band with this type of talent could pull off a feat like this. ROM was also the best when it came to requests and I’m not speaking of simple music requests but requests to have two different songs performed by members of our family with of course the support of the entire band. It was pretty spectacular to have our guests so engaged in our night and wear the soles off their shoes! I will also say that prior to the big day Tina and her team were nothing but professional and extremely creative when it came to helping us outline the timeline. They made themselves very available and were attentive to our ideas. When I first reached out to Tiana she responded promptly and spent 1.5 hours on the phone with me going through what they offer, and outlining what I was looking for. Right then and there, I knew she was committed to making our wedding the best experience ever. Tiana invited my mom and sister to go to some of their performances (including a wedding) so we could see them live. My mom facetime’d me and we were immediately sold… they were rockin’ the reception! Tiana worked with me and tailored our wedding package to fit what we wanted in regard to ceremony music (string quartet), cocktail music (jazz trio), and reception music. When I told her the two songs that we wanted as our first dance and as the mother/son dance, she said the band didn’t know them but would be willing to learn the new songs for us… so thoughtful and client oriented! Tiana’s thoughtfulness and willingness to do whatever she could to make our day special was unlike any other band we’d met… she really went above and beyond. The more we worked with Tiana the more we loved how accommodating and supportive she was. During the year leading up to the wedding, we reached out to her and ROM to see if they had a DJ package they could provide for a backyard engagement party my parents hosted for us. She did (of course) and he was awesome… people were dancing in their backyard for multiple hours! We also had Tiana and her husband sing at a Welcome Fiesta party my family hosted to welcome guests to San Diego. For the rehearsal, Tiana let us rent equipment (microphone and speaker) which made it easy for my in-laws to coordinate since she was already doing our other events too. As you can see, Tiana can make anything happen because she is professional, thorough, detailed, and talented… one stop shop! Tiana was our emcee and did a fabulous job. ROM did an acoustic “unplugged” set during dinner which was perfect for the environment we wanted at dinner… our guests loved the acoustic selection and thought it was a unique/creative idea. She helped coordinate, with my in-laws and their entire family, a surprise flash mob! It included my fiancé’s entire family (siblings, nieces, nephews, etc.) in the middle of our reception!!! It was the highlight of the night and neither my fiancé nor I had any clue (and I had even memorized that timeline haha)! It couldn’t have been pulled off with Tiana’s help and support. As you can imagine, the reception was one of a kind… the dance floor was packed the entire time and ROM kept the fun, party atmosphere we wanted alive. They even got me and my husband to crowd surf over our dance floor at the reception… it was seriously a blast. You want ROM to be your live band for whatever event you may be planning! They are top quality, wonderful people to work with, client oriented, and go above and beyond in creativity and execution. This band is extremely special, and without a doubt the best sounding band with the best hearted people. My husband and I knew we didn't want a DJ for our wedding night, and although we knew hiring a band would be more expensive, we wanted a band experience and agreed to look at bands together. We searched on many review sites, and through all of the reviews, RoM was the only band that did not have one negative review. Obviously skeptical, we decided to reach out to the band to get some more information. Tiana and Emily were extremely quick to respond about our inquiry, and we had an initial chat with Tiana over the phone. She mentioned that they were playing at a local casino and told us to come out to see them if we would like before we made a decision about hiring them. My husband and I went to the casino, and the moment we heard them play "Proud Mary" by Tina Turner, we knew this was the band for us (during this song at the casino, every single person was on the dance floor, and the band had choreographed moves that they taught the crowd before they performed the song). Once we decided to book the band, we had a few phone calls with Tiana to make sure everything was in order for our wedding night. Flash forward to the wedding day...I have so many things to say that I'll bullet them out :-) - MC: Tiana was the best MC. She is so calm, cool, and collected yet she knew when to rally the crowd as she is a master at reading the crowd - First dance: we decided to have everyone come up and dance for a few songs after the First Dance. Best decision ever! I was able to hug a lot of my guests on the dance floor before dinner and it really set the mood for the rest of the night (I was skeptical about this but Tiana was right in that it really made the night special)! - Dinner music: the band played during our dinner and it was lovely. We really enjoyed the songs they played and it wasn't too loud as we could still talk to guests and greet them. - RoM will learn two songs for you on your big day (we chose a country song and a classic song and their performance for both were outstanding) - The rest of the evening was an absolute blast!! Highlights include: me getting up on stage playing the piano (I'm a pianist and they let me rock out to a song), singing battle with bride and groom side, and CROWD SURFING! This was seriously the talk of the night. I never thought I would crowd surf, let alone at my own wedding. It was awesome! Seriously, from the bottom of our hearts we want to thank RoM, and special shoutout to Tiana for making our wedding the best night for us and for our guests. My dad said our wedding was the best he's every been to, even better than his own! We could not be happier with our choice to hire RoM. They played anything you wanted, they covered mainly top 40 by our request, but they sounded better then the original artists. We didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the band as we were taking pics and making rounds, but I saw everyone having a good time...I even saw my mom dancing, she is an Asian Tiger Mom, and even she was dancing!! They came with a full band, 3 vocalist, AND a DJ; they also brought lighting. So for the price - it was definitely worth it as hiring a DJ on it's own was almost that price. We are also a muslim couple and they were more than accommodating to any request that we had in terms of attire and music selection. If you want your wedding to have the extra special touch that increases the experiences to both you and your guests, get this band, they will make an impression that will last forever.

ur wedding and on an epic day full of highlights, I think they take top honors. Our party simply would not have been as great without them. We weren’t really interested in doing the “traditional” wedding things – grand entrance, first dance, cake cutting, etc. and Tiana worked with us to make sure the evening was everything we envisioned, including letting the crowd dictate the flow and timeline. I think it takes an extremely professional crew who truly know their stuff to be able to take on that endeavor. They sang, they grooved, they rapped, they learned songs just for us, and they incorporated a last minute request that I made the day before the wedding. You know you have a good thing going when the oldest and youngest guests at the party are in agreement that they are “the best band ever!” But beyond the music, they are down to earth, gracious, and just seem like a fun bunch to be around – I kind of want to become a roadie now. I also know two people in the hotel business who have seen tons of weddings and they, too, think ROM is the best in the biz. If I were a bajillionaire, I would hire them to play at my house every Friday night just so I could dance by myself. Hurry up and snatch them up before they’re booked – you absolutely will not regret it.

In fact, everything about Republic of Music's performance at our wedding was awesome. It started with the string quartet that played before and after the ceremony, setting the mood perfectly for the sunset wedding. But they were just getting started - when the full band started, there was no keeping people off the dance floor. They played a perfect mix of new and old and the band's interaction with our guests was so cool - they took requests and even invited one of the best men on stage for a Lady Gaga duet. Everyone at the wedding wanted to know who the band was because they'd never been to a wedding where the music was so great all night. I can't say enough about Republic of Music - they were instrumental in making our wedding so memorable.

d be the perfect balance between the "fancier" vibe we were going for and the crazy party animals that we knew our guests would turn into. REPUBLIC OF MUSIC WAS THE PERFECT FIT! From the second we sat down to meet to the performance at the wedding, Tiana and her group were super attentive, were able to customize every aspect, were able to offer incredible suggestions and timeline events, and made the process SO EASY! All of our vendors said they were so great to work with as well!! At the actual wedding they were able to read the crowd, had the perfect amount of involvement, and made sure it was the most spectacular night of our lives! Most of our guests traveled to San Diego for the wedding and so many of them kept asking "will they travel? Can we get them to do our wedding?". Trust me when I say they were a hot commodity. If you know exactly what you want, they will deliver! If you don't, they will work with you until they do and it will exceed ALL expectations!! The only downside is that the wedding is over and I can't keep in touch as much as I did during wedding planning. BEST wedding band ever, can't say it enough! You will NOT be disappointed!!

authentic as possible. From start to finish Tiana made sure she got to know us and what we wanted. We were a bit worried since we are not from San Diego and had to take care of everything from WA, but this group is top class. Tiana and the group performed each song to perfection. My now wife and I have a very broad and differing taste in music from Top 40 to alt rock to R&B to disco and funk. ROM put together a set list that hit every one of those genres and kept the crowd on the dance floor the entire time. Not once was there an empty space up there. We were worried about that because the venue we had our reception at, William D. Evans boat at the Bahia, has an outside deck and the weather was amazing. But people were constantly coming back inside. They are by far the most accommodating and professional group in San Diego. I highly recommend them if you want a packed dance floor and want exactly what you are paying for.

My sister has performed in a 70s cover band for many years and my whole family is musicians so we had very high standards for a dance band and ROM certainly met them. (I had already booked another band but changed my mind once I was told about ROM) She provided me with piece of mind and made our day run so smoothly. It was really comforting to know that our families could enjoy the evening and not have to worry about making announcements or keeping the night on schedule. As the evening progressed Josh and I did not stop dancing all night along with our guests! My sisters and I also got to be bandmates for the day and sing with the band which was pretty epic!! I was a jerk and asked despite knowing that there was no time to rehearse, but despite what many would see as a disadvantage Tiana and the rest exceeded expectation with passion and gusto.
