We could not have asked for a better live band for our wedding! They were absolutely incredible and all our guests were raving about how this was one of the best live wedding bands they've ever heard. Tiana and her team were meticulous about asking questions to understand exactly what we were looking for--in terms of vibes, cultural aspects, songs to play, songs not to play, crowd interaction, etc. We were looking for a wide range of genres which we knew would be difficult and they did not disappoint. Tiana and her team were so much fun to work with and we were so happy to have them be a part of our wedding day. After our wedding a reoccurring comment we heard from friends and family was the music was one of their favorite parts. Tiana’s team is so talented and knew how to interact with the guests to make sure the party was fun! They worked with me on all the requests I had for specific music, and helped craft a great atmosphere for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Live music was SO important to our wedding vision and Republic of Music absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the start, Tiana and her team wowed us with their attention to detail and an extensive song list covering all the kinds of music we love, from pop hits to country. As soon as the band started playing dinner music, our guests were immediately impressed and looking around like “are you hearing this?!” The sax was such an awesome touch and well worth the upgrade! This band knows how to keep the party going with the right song at the right moment, and as a result the dance floor was crowded all night long. Republic of Music was the perfect band for our big day! Not only were they super responsive, flexible, and professional in the planning stages, they went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure we and all of our guests had the best time dancing the night away. Their musicianship is top notch and their song list is extensive. They really let you tailor your song list to you exact musical preferences! Tiana the lead singer was also our emcee for the evening and did a fantastic job giving introductions for our speeches, meals, and special activities. Republic of Music is the gold standard in San Diego wedding entertainment! They gave us their all and brought the house down with it! Their range, and ability to light up a crowd is unmatched and they are by far the most electric wedding band I’ve ever seen. Our wedding was at the San Diego Museum of Art and Republic of Music tailored their performance to our every wish. Republic of Music bridged our mother-son dance song into the start of their set, allowing all our friends to dance with my Mom and I to kick off the dancing. They doubled down as our MC and even allowed some members of the audience on stage to sing with them, they’re so much fun and I can’t recommend them enough. From the outset, RoM scheduled many planning calls with us, talking through our vision with us and helping us bring the dance floor of our dreams to life, we’re so grateful for their energy and ability to make our night so special. I truly have no notes, they were fantastic. If you have a lively group and your friends and family love to dance then look no further, this is your band.

Tiana & Republic of Music made us feel like rockstars at our wedding. And that's the only thing you can really ask for! Do you want your event to be incredible? Hire them. Republic of Music owned the stage at our wedding with old and new songs that got every generation out their sets; they had props and interactive crowd work that made our guests feel included; and just a rippppping great sound. They even had us on stage close out the night. It was sick. We also loved the thorough collaboration between us, Tiana, and the band, letting my wife and I select the type of musicians, the amount of of bandmates, even listening to our playlists and learning songs so they could get the vibe we were trying to create - all before taking the stage. After the show was over, we had wedding guests coming up exclaiming our wedding was “a 'God Tier' wedding,” and “The BEST wedding they'd ever been to, period." An absolute 11/10 knock out time working with this band. Truly the most incredible time. I keep using the words “they were perfect” and even those words don’t do them justice. Every single guest came up to me or texted me after saying it was the best time and the band was the best they’ve ever seen. From the start of working with them, they were so calm, cool, and collected which made me so confident in them being so great. I had a million questions and was a nervous wreck on choosing a band because that was such a center point of our wedding. We wanted a party and they brought it!! When I had my consultation call with Tiana, she asked me if I had a specific genre or songs I wanted them to play. I told her to read the crowd and play whatever she wants. I am so happy I did this, because every song was spot on. One of my biggest concerns was people not dancing and wow we had a packed dance floor the entire time. My husband NEVER dances, and he was on the dance floor the entire night having the best time. The band understood how to keep everyone engaged and pulled out different fun “activities” like handing out blow up fake guitars for everyone to rock out to. It was soo much fun. The band even got word towards the end of the night that I wanted to get on stage and sing along to close out the night. They helped me get on stage and have the best night of my life. It was truly a dream come true, they were spot on with everything, sounded incredible and I would recommend them to literally everyone and anyone! I can't say enough wonderful things about ROM. From the moment we spoke with Tiana, till we begged for them to “play one more song” before calling it a night, they were professional, and more importantly, a TON of of fun. The dance floor was packed from the opening note until the end of the night. We initially really wanted a full band, but then also wanted the non-traditional "band" music i.e. EDM, Hip-Hop, etc. , so we did a DJ and live music (drummer, bass, saxophone) at Tiana's suggestion and it was the ULTIMATE combo!! Our guests LOVED it and so did we!! Tiana and her team were amazing and ROM kept the vibes up all night!

One word: Incredible. If you have seen their content online, that is only half of it! In the room, they are exciting, fun, relaxed, and professional. They worked with us before to ensure they got the right vibe and were flexible on the day of to make sure that we got the experience we wanted. We have received a multiple comments from family and friends that they have never seen a band so great at a wedding! If you like what you see online then what you get in person will blow you away!

The band was by far the highlight of our wedding. So many of our guests have commented on how much fun they had dancing. One said: “We had so much fun! I never danced so much in my life! Great band!”, which pretty much sums up everyone’s experience. Republic of Music (ROM) truly made our wedding night a night we will never forget. My husband and I were hyper-focused on finding the perfect band, since we really believe that can make or break the vibe of a wedding and ROM did not disappoint - Tiana and the other band members were beyond incredible. They picked the right music for various parts of the evening (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and after party) and closely worked with us to ensure all of our asks were met. They did a great job of interacting with the guests on the dance floor when appropriate, and their late night DJ that we requested really knew how to get the party started! 10/10 would ABSOLUTELY recommend hiring them for your wedding - you will not regret it! Tiana and Republic of Music were the absolute best! They made our wedding the most fun party, exactly what we dreamed of. All of our guests danced the night away. This band is fantastic! Our guests were dancing from start to finish and the dance floor was packed almost the entire evening. Republic of Music was so easy to work with and they are so flexible in the genre of music that you request. For our wedding, there were two vocalists (female and male), saxophonist (well work the extra for him), guitar, base, keyboard and drums. Our guests have repeatedly said that this was the most fun they had ever had at any wedding. Our guests spanned all ages and everyone was up on the dance floor. We cannot say enough good things about the Republic of Music and we would recommend them without hesitation.

Coming from someone whose been to literal hundreds of concerts throughout their life, I can easily say that Republic of Music was one of the most memorable musical experiences I’ve ever had. Not only was the band an absolute powerhouse of melody and song, but an interactive, radiant group of musicians that are second to none. I mean, holy shi*t. Starting from the very beginning, Tiana was an incredible listener and truly wanted to help us bring our musical vision to life. We had some pretty, pretty specific requests in terms of song selection, genre, and do’s and don’ts, and Tiana only encouraged us to follow our instincts and go for it. This didn’t feel as much of an us vs them, but an overall group effort that was perfectly executed to our liking. We had multiple family performances, guests on stage singing with the band, and an endless uproar or applause whenever the next song would start. Months later, we still have friends telling us that they’ll never recover from the dancing at our wedding. Our parents and their friends still talk to this day that they’ve never seen a better wedding band than Republic of Music, although I wouldn’t classify them as a wedding band but more of a band that I would genuinely pay to see on a Friday night. Tiana and ROM were attentive, kind, and most importantly, patient with us during our entire planning process. At the end of the day, if you’re not hiring Republic of Music for your wedding, you’re making a mistake.

Republic of Music was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and 6 months later, I still get people who attended our wedding telling us how much fun they had on the dance floor that night. I expected our friends to tear up the dance floor but did not expect ROM to keep my parents’ friends, aunts, uncles, and even grandmas on the dance floor the way that they did. This was also San Diego in July and the dance floor was HOT, yet everyone chose to embrace the sweat and stick it out on the dance floor rather than take a break on the breezy patio and we loved every minute of it. It was a night we will never forget and only made possible because of how amazing ROM is. During our first conversation with Tiana, we explained how we wanted to engage the crowd throughout the evening and gradually escalate to a full-blown party. She immediately understood what we wanted and executed it perfectly – even going so far as to hand the mic to my cousin (who is also a fantastic singer) and allowing her to serenade our guests with “Killing me softly with his song” before dinner. It was a huge hit with our guests and now my family sings along to that song at every family gathering. I think what I appreciated most about ROM is that they truly want to make it your day and they give you the ability to be as involved in the planning process as you want while providing their expert opinions. They know what songs will get people dancing and allowing them to do their thing, while mixing in a few personal touches/requests was exactly what we were looking for and ROM provided perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about Tiana and the rest of the band and am forever grateful we booked them for our special day! If you are on the fence, you will not regret booking them, they are the absolute BEST wedding band! You will absolutely LOVE them!

Republic of Music is AMAZING! They made us feel so comfortable and talked with us about what we envisioned for our wedding even before we booked with them. They made it so easy to figure out what music to play and gave suggestions as well. On the day of the wedding they made it incredibly easy, we were able to enjoy the music, dance, and interact with them while they played. They gave out props and called people to the dance floor to keep everyone entertained and I loved that so much! Republic of Music was a phenomenal band. I didn’t want a cheesy wedding band but I wanted an organized, fun group of people who knew what they were doing- they exceeded my expectations. So many people told me we had the best band they have seen. It was an incredible night and they are a huge part of why it was perfect. Thank you !!!

Republic of Music was literally the highlight of our wedding. Everyone still talks about the live music and how incredible the dance floor was thanks to their incredible sound. They even let my family members be a part of some of the numbers. It was so meaningful, so perfect in every way, and each musician was SO talented.

ROM was the best! This band is a MUST for your wedding. My husband and I wanted a band who would keep people on their feet all night long, and that's exactly what the Republic of Music did for our wedding. Our family and friends are STILL talking about how much fun they had months later. Tiana made the whole planning process so easy and was able to guide us with great recommendations when we were a little stumped on what to do! The band did a great job of listening to our song requests and even learned a new song at my request as a surprise for my husband. They also were happy to accommodate some of the more outdated requests we had. The dance floor was packed all night long and they interacted with our guests so well. We had so much fun with them and were sad when they played the last song. At the end of the day, we were so happy with this big purchase and they were worth every penny.

Republic of Music was THE BEST wedding band! They far exceeded our wildest expectations, which were high based on the videos and reviews we perused before hiring them. Countless guests approached us during the wedding to rave about the band - the sound, the quality, the fun! The general consensus among the crowd was that this was the best band and most fun party vibe they had ever experienced at a wedding. We’re obviously biased given it was our special day, but we have to agree! From the bubble guns, to call-and-response competitions, to limbos and conga lines, they really did everything they could to make it a fun event for all. The bride’s cousin was even welcomed on stage to jam out with an inflatable saxophone in some Blue Brother’s style shades! It was truly memorable. And entertainment accoutrement aside, they were absolutely incredible musicians! The singers had such an impressive range and they flawlessly covered every genre, from country to rock to ABBA! The lead singer was off the charts...the guitar solos were top notch! Every musician was an expert at his or her craft. We worked with Tiana to prepare for the big day and cannot speak highly enough of her professionalism and attitude. She was so easy to work with and made prep a breeze. She even generously accommodated last minute new song requests. RomProd is all about careful and extensive preparation to ensure a flawless event - we collaborated on a timeline & preferences worksheet and met for a 90 minute session with Tiana in the month before the wedding to ensure that we were aligned on every nuanced detail. RomProd is respectful of and will cater to your specific party needs...if you want to control the set list and level of crowd engagement, you absolutely can, or you can give them leeway to perform with minimal guidance. We shared our musical interests but trusted in their experience to be responsive to the crowd and put on a show, and they more than delivered! Bottom line, you can rely on RomProd to make a party memorable, and we HIGHLY recommend them to anyone searching for a wedding band (in fact, we already have!). They were easy to work with, professional, and the epitome of entertainers. Thanks to them, we'll remember our wedding as the best night of our lives! Republic of Music came highly recommended and really got the party going. All of our guests were dancing right after our first dance and well into the night. Even my uncle Jim who is in his 80s. What’s more they integrated seamlessly with our venue and other vendors. Cherry on top they were able to provide a DJ for the last hour and a half of our ceremony to play our favorite house hits after the live band segment concluded. Sprinkles they let the groom perform with the band! They really made our wedding. Excellent.

Tiana was incredibly helpful from day one with questions and suggestions and I had no doubt that our wedding was in good hands with her and the band! I had a small ensemble for the ceremony and people loved the live music! For the reception we had an 11-piece band (gotta have a horn section, am I right?!) and it was a show stopper! The way they engaged the crowd and kept people on the dancefloor the whole night was amazing. All of our guests raved about how amazing the band was and how fun the reception was because of the band! Short and sweet summary: Republic of Music’s incredible talent elevated the wedding day to another level of memorable and special, and their planning skills made the day feel seamless. Longer version: We decided to make the investment in a live band because we really wanted our guests to be dancing and enjoying themselves during our daytime wedding. ROM’s musicians came recommended by both our day-of coordinator (Melissa Tuvey-Barrad) and several venues we looked at. What also impressed us about Tiana and her team was how great they sounded in their videos across a wide variety of musical styles, and also simply how many promo videos they had posted on their website. We had complete confidence that we knew what we were signing up for. The organization skills of ROM were also impressive. Filling out their 31-page wedding worksheet (Example questions – what song will you walk in to? Will we announce your parents’ names during it? Will they be walking in or at their seats?) gave me a lot of confidence that everything was going to run smoothly, because a group of professional and fun humans were going to be following what we’d discussed. The day of the wedding turned into concert-dance party, and I as the bride had a total blast. They had 90% of our guests dancing on their opening Enrique Iglesias number, which then looped into a Stevie Wonder song, and people loved it. And they especially killed it with the classic rock song my Dad and I had requested for our dance that wasn’t in their standard playlist. The artists’ incredible musicianship nailed the guitar and keyboard solos to the level of any recording, which will definitely go down as one of my top three memories of day. The compliments from guests are still coming in – they were a joy!

I couldn't have asked for a better band! I planned my wedding in under 4 months and because of the pandemic, I lucked out that Republic of Music was even available. I hadn't seen them perform live before, but I reviewed their music on Instagram and could tell they were talented. With that being said, their talent far exceeded any expectations I had. They knocked it out of the park and all the guests could talk about was how amazing they were. If you are deciding between another band and ROM, pick ROM! It was MORE than worth it and I will have so many memories to look back on on the dance floor thanks to them because they kept everyone dancing and entertained. I was truly amazed by them!

We just got married on November 6, 2021 and hired Republic of Music as our wedding band! We LOVED them! They made the process so easy! Once we hired them, they sent us a wedding worksheet to fill out that went over everything from Grand Entrance order to lighting to songs to play, songs not to play, what we would like the band to wear, cocktail hour music, etc. Then, we had the pleasure to meet with Tiana who walked us through the worksheet, answered all our questions and made us feel so confident that the night was going to be amazing. She was so professional and reassuring the whole time. She even helped us find a white stage skirt to rent to ensure we would have the look that we were going for and was accommodating with the size stage that would fit in our room. On the day of the wedding, they were the stars of the show! They emceed the whole night beautifully and they knew exactly what to do to get our guests out on the dance floor (which wasn't the easiest since we had a good amount of older people!) Every single person that hugged me goodbye was raving about this band! If you are debating whether to get a live band or a DJ, I'd say splurge and get the live band! THIS live band! When my husband and I first started dating, one of the main interests that brought us together was our shared love of music. So, five years later when we got engaged, we knew that booking a live band for our wedding was a must. Approximately three minutes into browsing bands on The Knot, we found RoM and couldn't imagine finding a better band to perform at our wedding--their live performance videos and extensive song list options had us instantly hooked. We messaged them for a quote and Tiana, the LadyBoss Rockstar herself, reached out to us the very next day. Honestly, there aren't enough words to describe how wonderful she was to work with. Tiana is not only incredibly kind with a great sense of humor, she's also extremely thorough and determined to do everything within her power to make sure your wedding vision comes to life. She even took it upon herself to work directly with our venue regarding their no amplified music policy which was a HUGE weight off my shoulders. Overall, hiring RoM was easily the best decision we could’ve made. The cello + keyboard duo we selected for the ceremony had our guests in tears and the band + DJ knew exactly how to keep the dance floor packed the entire night. To this day, our friends and family still rave about how amazing the band was and it’s because of them that we had the absolute best day of our lives. So, if you’re looking for an engaging, versatile and incredibly gifted group of musicians to help create the most memorable day of your life, you must, must, unquestionably MUST hire RoM. I don't know where to begin with Republic of Music or also known as ROM. We were suppose to have our wedding and reception last year in September, but due to Covid ,we could only have a small wedding with 13 guests without a band . This year we finally had our reception/first Anniversary . It was worth the wait with this band . ROM is an awesome band . The best in San Diego . I did my research in regards to bands as the music is so important to set the tone of the evening. They were even better than expected . Tiana was a dream to work with . She always had my back even when I was getting a bit overwhelmed . There was a long list of task to do which was sent via email . This could be a bit much but really important to make your party run smoothly. Tiana would keep me on task. Very supportive and I was able to chose our songs that reflect who we are and the music was so on point. The singers and the musicians were outstanding! I would definitely hire them again and absolutely recommend them ! My husband and I were really happy with them as well as all of our guests who danced with such joy to the end !🧡😊

The centerpiece of our wedding was RoM the band.  RoM was our live music for the Ceremony (electric violin), 3 piece during the Cocktail Hour 90 minutes, a 9-piece band with 5 vocalists I hand picked for the 4 hour Reception, and then DJ+3 piece for the After Party.  Every part of the experience was worth every penny, and I would rate them with all the stars in the sky if I could. I had narrowed down my choice to 3 SD based bands before going with RoM, I could not beat RoM in terms of unique voices/styles in just about every song we picked.  The buck stops with Tiana with all the finer details! I had picked every musician, and I picked every song for each of the events!  They even learned BTS - Dynamite for us when it wasn’t already in their repertoire. I had a swim entrance into the alter, and we had a Uni bar and coconuts at the cocktail hour and I sang for my wife during our first dance, but RoM was the one thing that all the guests remembered!  I am beyond happy with my choice. RoM kept the energy flowing the entire afternoon and night, they got the crowd engaged in different ways, group dance, limbo line, with fun props etc.  Even as detail oriented as I am, I trusted the RoM team once I saw them read and go with the crowd.  They also worked with us on two guest musical performances. Now on the sound, I personally treated this as a concert, they worked with my photo/video team and gave them digital recording of the whole performance straight from the soundboard with no loss in quality.  Who needs a playlist when I can just play the entire performance over again! DJ Simple was a super awesome DJ for that late night after party! And He even personally manned the Photo Booth and got the guests in the mood for fun takes!  RoM was really a 1 stop shop for wedding entertainment.

If you are reading this, you found the perfect band for your upcoming event. Look no further! My wife and I had to delay our wedding a full year due to COVID. Live music is one of our shared favorite things so having a great band was very important to us. Republic of Music exceeded all expectations! Considering a live band for your wedding? Do it and choose Republic of Music. Tiana was so helpful and collaborative in choosing the experience we wanted, including the set list and band members. While we had ideas of what we wanted (make our 30-something guests want to spend the whole night on the dance floor), she was an expert in translating that into details the band needed. Even when we blew a fuze (our wedding outdoors at a summer camp), they kept going through the outage and turned it into an epic experience! I wish I wrote down the names of the male and female lead singers, because they were also excellent emcees, epic performers, and cool people.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having Republic of Music play during our wedding. The energy they bring truly changed the evening and had everyone up on their feet all night long. Tianna was extremely helpful and accommodating when planning our set list. We requested a couple songs the band did not know, and they were more than willing to learn them in time for the wedding. We had ROM play beautiful string instruments during our ceremony creating an elegant and beautiful atmosphere. Following the cocktail hour, instead of ushers guiding our guests into the ballroom, ROM had their trumpet and saxophone player lead our guests with fun music. This was such a small detail they brought that people absolutely loved. ROM did an incredible job with playing both great dinner and dancing music that kept people entertained. The energy ROM brought to the wedding had everyone in the family up on their feet from our young cousins all the way to my 85-year-old grandma! We couldn’t have been more pleased with the songs that were played, the entertainment they brought, and the fun interactions with our guests. You will not go wrong having ROM play at your wedding. WOW! What a party! Republic of Music was such a hit at our wedding! From the beautiful ceremony music, to the cocktail hour, and the dinner and reception party, the band was such a hit! I am still getting compliments on their performances. I first found Republic of Music at an industry event and I was so impressed that I went to introduce myself to find out more information for my wedding. We really wanted a live band to create the ultimate wedding experience, but were working within a strict budget. However, after discussing our needs and what we envisioned, we were able to come to an agreement. We are beyond excited to have them. Then, we had to postpone our wedding not once, but twice due to COVID-19. Tiana and her team worked with us on new dates and were so accommodating. We definitely didn’t want to lose them! The planning process of choosing music was definitely overwhelming, but their questionnaire was very helpful and deciding what we wanted to include. Then, we had a phone meeting to discuss where all my questions were answered & was so impressed with Tiana. She set any nerves I had at ease and I completely trusted her. We ended up having a guitarist and vocalist for our ceremony with a mix of live and recorded music, recorded music for our cocktail hour and 6-piece band for our dinner reception. AMAZING would be an understatement. It was absolutely perfect in every way and wish I had them even longer! The ceremony was dreamy and whimsical which is exactly what I was hoping for. I started crying before I even walked down the aisle because what I heard was so beautiful. When it was my turn to walk down the aisle, Tiana’s rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” was so romantic. It gave me all the tingly feels inside and I started crying again. It was the perfect moment. One of my other favorite moments of the day was during cocktail hour – the band was warming up in the reception space and my new husband and I got to dance and twirl around just the two of us. It is a memory I will cherish always. All the songs they performed were beautiful – Can’t Help Falling in Love was my obvious favorite, but they also learned a brand-new song for my father/daughter dance (The Man Who Loves You the Most – Zac Brown Band). It was magical and my dad cried so much. He loved it! The only downside was that we had a medical emergency during dinner which halted the party and got us behind schedule quite a bit, however, Republic of Music for the win and the true MVP! You wouldn’t have known that our dance party was reduced because they read the room and knew we had to cram as much fun as possible into a short time period. They got EVERYONE on the dancefloor and hyped everyone back up. It was a true party! Their energy, crowd engagement, and talent are the best out there! They also remembered that my husbands one wedding request was to get everyone dancing to “SHOUT!” as it is his favorite wedding number. Well, they upped their game even more. Not only was the entire crowd singing and dancing, they got us both on stage to have fun AND have a bride & groom crowd surfing experience. It was so much fun! We honestly cannot say enough great things about Republic of Music. We will be recommending them for all special events and hope to have them play for us again in the near future!

If I could give 10 stars to Republic of Music, I would! Republic of Music exceeded ALL of our high expectations and made our wedding the best night of our lives! From the beginning, Tiana and her team were thoughtful, helpful and intentional about making our wedding the wedding we had always dreamed of. After pushing our wedding back twice due to COVID, Tiana and her team continued to be more than understanding. We are beyond grateful for their help and flexibility during a stressful time! Live music was very important to us and we had everyone from our grandparents to young cousins on the dance floor the ENTIRE time thank to RoM! Their TALENT and ENERGY had had all of our guests dancing and gushing about how they were the best band they have ever seen at a wedding and wanted to see them perform again! Words do not describe the fun we all had!! We had a few special requests such as Greek dancing, and RoM even helped with a special mashup for my father/daughter dance. It was so special! It makes me so happy writing this review because it takes me back to my wedding night! It was the most special, FUN night.. a huge thank you to Republic of Music for making our wedding the day we always dreamed of! We love you guys!!!

The Republic of Music team is who you want to hire for your wedding or event!!! One of our top priorities for our wedding was having live music and wow, we are so thankful we went with Republic of Music because they EXCEEDED our dreams! They make every single part of the process so fun, from the first introductory call to guidance in selecting our music to every moment on our big day. They brought the house DOWN on our dance floor - such talented artists that truly know how to bring the energy. Thank you, Republic of Music team!!

We always knew we wanted the energy, dynamism, and showmanship of a live band at our wedding reception, and were SO excited when we came across ROM in our search. We got a great feel for their vibe from their videos, but talking to Tiana sealed the deal. She is friendly, fun, and energetic, and took the time to get to know us and answer all of our questions. She understood our vision right away - a little old school rock and soul, R&B, some pop - and she shared specific videos to show us some of the exact songs we were hoping for. Unfortunately, COVID prevented us from having the rowdy reception we were looking forward to, and we had to cancel the big band when we scaled back our wedding from 130 to 20 people. But Tiana was very understanding, and stuck with us though the ups and downs. We ended up having an acoustic guitarist (Aaron) for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Aaron is extremely talented and professional. Since the venue changed from a winery to a backyard, flexibility was so important. He set up his own system and then mic'd our officiant and worked with her until she was comfortable. Our coordinator was particularly impressed with how independent he was in setup, and said he was very easy to work with. Our guests told us that his music before, during, and after the ceremony set the perfect tone for our intimate gathering. Thank you for setting the mood for a meaningful wedding!

I first came across Republic of Music at my Sister-in-law’s wedding in 2015. I was a little apprehensive because at the time I thought a DJ could do all that a band could do and more. I was SO wrong! I decided then and there if I was going to have anything at my wedding, it would be that band! Flash forward 4 years and Republic of Music is the FIRST vendor we contacted! We planned our wedding from out of state, and they made it so incredibly easy! They were responsive, kind, and beyond fun!! The money is well worth the memories! People tell us all the time that it was the best wedding they ever went to! And that is all because we had this band! I had people ask me during the reception to write down the band name so they could use them in the future. Republic of Music is the absolute best!! If you want your wedding to be FUN, look no further!

If we could give 100 stars, we would! This band is a MUST for your wedding. My husband and I wanted a band who would keep people on their feet all night long, and that's exactly what the Republic of Music did for our wedding. Our family and friends are STILL talking about how much fun they had months later. Tiana did a great job listening to our song requests, and put together a fun song list. Something that I want to acknowledge about their professionalism/expertise is that we originally said we just wanted the band to play music - no games, no interaction with our guests, ect. But once they got going at our reception, they read our guests really well and strayed a little from our original plan. The end result was fantastic! Our guests were on stage signing with the band, they pulled out limbo and a conga line, just the ultimate party. At the end of the day, we were so happy with this big purchase and they were worth every penny.

We had a wonderful experience with our DJ from ROM. The whole process of booking and making song requests was easy and stress free. I loved that our DJ happily took requests from guests all night and made the whole night run smoothly. The dancing was the highlight of our wedding. Thank you again for making our night perfect!

In my mind there was literally no other option for our wedding band than RoM. I am a singer myself, and have performed with RoM many times over the past 5 or 6 years. And I think that says something - through all of my many, many experiences with this incredible band family, they have done nothing but ABSOLUTELY CRUSH EVERY EVENT, EVERY TIME!! And my wedding was no exception!! They went above and beyond to learn new songs for our father/daughter mother/son dances, and they accompanied my Dad and brother (also musicians) who jumped up on stage to play our first dance song. Each RoM musician is extremely talented in their own unique way, so put together, they are phenomenal. Tiana = master MC (can rally a crowd in the most loving, sincere way), also has an incredible voice and attention to detail! Rick = SHREDS the guitar and keys like no other Kori = his rich and powerful vocals will stop you in your tracks. Truly unbelievable. Ivory Black = can literally sing anything perfectly, but her cover of Led Zeppelin is on another level (my guests were FLOORED) David is the best keyboardist I've ever worked with, Coop schlaps that bass, Noah murders the drums, I could literally go on and on about these top-notch musicians. And not only are they musically talented, but their energy kept my guests jumping the entire night. When they were playing, the dance floor was packed, which was one of the main reasons I went with RoM. Our venue was a fairytale garden, our dessert bar was overflowing with donuts and brownies, and yet the main thing our guests gushed about for weeks after the wedding was the fantastic band.  If you've been to weddings with and without a live band, you know the energy a live band brings to an event is unmatched. I've never performed with, or witnessed a band with better energy, crowd engagement, and talent. Do yourself a favor and hire RoM, as a bunch of their other reviews have already stated: YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Republic of Music was fantastic! We had a violin and cello player for our ceremony, and they played the songs we wanted beautifully. The company was easy to work with, and very professional.

Our family had another wedding about a year ago with a killer band and we were nervous that we weren’t going to be able to find a band to match that same energy. At our first meeting, we expressed those concerns to Tiana and she and ROM rose to the challenge. ROM exceeded our every expectation and definitely gave our guests something to talk about! Our wedding was destination in Arizona, we are from Texas, and ROM is from San Diego. Despite being in different time zones, Tiana made it easy to talk with her about our vision for our wedding. We wanted modern ceremony and dinner music, followed by an over the top dance party that would get each and every guest out of their seats. ROM had our guests impressed from the very beginning with a beautiful and emotional ceremony. It was also refreshing to give our guests a little dance break right before dinner, which was a ROM party starting speciality. We knew our money was well spent when we looked around the room and didn’t see a single butt in the chair! One of our favorite moments of the night was our epic hora. Again, every single guest was involved and it really helped to get the night started and set the party tone. ROM also got guests involved with a fun limbo session and a sing along that featured some of our guests hidden talents. We didn’t want the night to end, but since it had to there was no better way than with crown surfing. Our guests had never seen that at a wedding before, and they were overly impressed. The experience is truly something that my husband and I will never forget. A true testament of the night came the next day at our post wedding brunch, where several guests had lost their voices from singing with the band so hard. Republic of Music was the best decision we made for our wedding. We would pick them a thousand times over. Thanks a million to Tiana, and the rest of the ROM team.

Republic of Music (ROM) does NOT disappoint!! Tiana and her crew was AWESOME at our son and daughter-in-laws' wedding ceremony and reception last week in Tucson, AZ. First of all, I highly recommend ROM for any destination wedding where there is more than one opportunity to showcase their talent at more than one event. Arranging for the band's travel to Tucson was easy and more affordable than other bands we hired in the past. In our case, the band was able to drive from San Diego to Tucson. Tiana even arrived a day early to ensure everything was planned and perfect to avoid any unexpected surprises or unanticipated challenges with the venue. That extra care is most important, because as hosts, the last thing you (or a bride and groom) need are unexpected surprises. The ceremony music was perfect, with Tiana handling the vocals with an acoustic guitar accompaniment. Tiana's vocal range is phenomenal. During our cocktail reception, the musical accompaniment was excellent and exactly as we'd hoped. During dinner, the band played at just the right volume, allowing our guests to enjoy their meals and conversation. When dinner is over, look out! Be prepared for your dance floor to be full. In fact, you better ask your venue for their biggest dance floor. Do not skimp on your band budget. It's EVERYTHING! No problem learning new songs. The band even added a few new hits. The band interacted with the crowd and kept everyone engaged, dancing, and frenetic. We even scrapped our speeches because we didn't want to interrupt the party. Even during the load out at the end of the night, 5 hours after they band began, our guests were out there, dancing to recorded music, demanding more! What more could you ask for? Thanks and would be happy to be a personal reference for anyone contemplating this wonderful band!

Talented, professional, PERFECT wedding band... and we are a couple that have frequented many a concert and music festival. These people are the real deal and have the ability to deliver with every genre, and do it with soul! If you want people to have a blast at your wedding this is the band. Thank you ROM!!!! Republic of Music was amazing!!! They know to bring the party! They were able to play different genres of music as requested, from Latin to pop to classical. They even learned our first dance song which was so special. We received so many positive comments from our guests. We highly recommend them for your next event! Just got back from our honeymoon and can't stop reminiscing about our special day. All the guests have said the same thing, "Your band was incredible!" and "I havent seen Dad dance in years!" Tiana and the ROM band was truly a show stopper. They made the night! Tiana reads the audience and delivers just what everyone needs to keep the night rockin'. We had live ceremony music, pre-recorded cocktail music, and live music from dinner through the end of reception. Our guests ranged from 2-3 yr old flower girls to 75+ grandparnets and everyone was on the dance floor at one point in the evening. We saw ROM at a friends wedding and knew they were the band for us. (they were our first booked vendor after the venue!) HIGHLY RECOMMEND! You will be the talk of the family for years to come if ROM is your band! And we even had three family members sing with the band at different points throughout the evening, all of which said they were so fun band to sing with. ROM is truly AMAZING! Thank you ROM!

How can we put this... Amazing? Incredible? Absolutely unforgettable, memorable and hands down the best band to work with for your wedding. RoM was not only highly professional to work with- they completely made our wedding the most fun and special day not just for us- but for all of our guests who packed the dance floor. Tiana and team are a special group that understand how to rock the house, while also letting the wedding couple shine. Highly recommend and 100% would hire again.

We got married at the Prado in March. Neither of us live in SD anymore, so we could only talk to vendors over the phone. Even through the phone, we could tell that RoM was special -- their range was staggering, their service was absolutely impeccable. Most of all, their first priority was what we wanted. They wanted to know who was going to be there, what mood we expected, what kind of energy we wanted to have, how we wanted to break up the dancing sets. Other bands seemed more concerned with their own needs and abilities; RoM wanted to know what we wanted. Besides the band, they had strings for the ceremony. They played pop hits (Daft Punk, other stuff), Latin (Buena Vista Social Club, Selena), Motown. They even had a singer who could sing in Italian, which pleased my family to no end. How did they play? I can't even begin to explain it. They were better than anyone has a right to expect. Everyone, everyone danced -- the old people, the kids, the mostly 25-35 y.o. crowd. The dance floor was never empty. If you're afraid of stuffy bands who usually play retirement home and horrible Office Space-type corporate events, don't worry. No one left without telling us how much they loved the band. The band is always, always friendly and courteous, and top of it all the price was more than reasonable. We cannot, cannot recommend RoM enough. Thanks Tiana!! <3

We LOVED having Republic of Music (ROM) perform at our wedding. We knew that the music would be the entertainment focal point so picking the right group was critical. Tiana at ROM was able to coordinate a live sampling of their music repertoire and we immediately felt the great energy they would provide at our wedding. Getting through the planning stages and making decisions for a wedding can be very stressful. Tiana and ROM did an exceptional job of making us feel at ease when it came to the music. ROM reassured us several times that they know how to gauge an audience and they did exactly that. We've had several wedding guests that said they loved the music and that it made the party. Guests danced the night away! ROM has a wide array of music across genres to choose from that they cover extremely well. If there is a song that they don't know they are open to learning it and performing it at your function. You can also customize the group to your preferences, i.e. adding vocals, horns, etc. We enjoyed listening to their playlists when we were deciding on what songs we did and did not want to hear at our wedding. We were so lucky that we found ROM as they made our wedding a memorable party. If you found ROM, no need to look any further. We can't recommend ROM enough!

We hired Republic of Music for our wedding this past July and I still have friends asking me who they were and saying how amazing they sounded. One of my close friends said they “totally changed her whole mind about bands at weddings”. Tiana is the sweetest and most accommodating person ever. She made me feel so at ease about everything, I didn’t have to think or worry about a thing. I flew out a guest singer from New York that is special to my husband and I and the band took the time and learned 12 songs to play for him while he sang. They nailed it and it looked like they were all a band for ages. If you want the best band experience, book the republic of music. They are truly Amazing and will make your event unforgettable. I wish I could have them come play every weekend.

This band is phenomenal! They played/emcee'd for my daughter's wedding on 9/21/2019, and our guests did not want to leave the dance floor. Tiana, Cory and Ali are amazing vocalists and can sing just about anything ! We would have continued dancing into the early hours if not for the venue needing to close down. Republic of Music made our wedding a spectacular event-- our guests are still raving. They are so talented, professional, organized and easy to work with.
